Journey to Dorito Body pt 12

3/22/24

So it's been a week and I'm starting to realize that I'm a lot stronger after days of not working out. I upped my weight AGAIN. Not my curls. Those are still 10lbs. But I'm doing 60lb lat pull downs! I started at 30 only a few months ago!

Though I have noticed that having these big gaps between work outs is affecting my energy levels. I don't move much outside of going to the gym and sometimes dancing in my kitchen so I have less energy than when I was going to the multiple times a week.

I'm thinking maybe I'll try to go for walks between work outs so I can up my energy while still letting my mucsle recover fully.

Now look at my pics!

They're getting bigger slowly but surely! So proud of myself! Evem my back is starting to look more defined!

I don't think I'm flexing right in that third pic. @smttnpegasus show me how to do it right when you come over this weekend please 🙏

Update: It's been a few hours and OWWWWWWW. I upped the weight on my farmer carries and my CORE. It's revolting. My abs, my sides, my lower back! It all hurts!!!

Will I be lowering the weight on my farmer carries after this...no, no I don't think I will. My abs will probably never be visible but damnit I want it to be usable.

i'm such a big fan of laios using being well fed as proof that he's serious. like there's so many techbros & etc who will use not eating breakfast as proof that they're productive & just in general, the idea of being "too busy to eat" is getting more common (which is exactly what toshiro is doing here!) but laios is like. no. i'm so serious about this i'm thinking about what comes next. i'm so serious about this i'm making sure my body can do everything it can when i need it.

the fact that everyone in the party took care of themselves & carefully planned out their route & when they'd take breaks is what made them so successful. they always made sure to understand their limits

Toothpaste companies must really hate people who are allergic to mint toothpaste, which a lot of people are! Apparently it's NOT supposed to burn like minty hellfire? (I'm fine with mint candy, it's only mint toothpaste that hurts)

I've been using Tom's fennel for years, but am now trying to find one with fluoride in it, and finding a toothpaste that is no mint and yes fluoride should not be such a huge and infuriating quest. still got some more grocery stores to search, but not even the children's toothpaste in the nearest one had any that were suitable.

Also, I think it might technically be a sensitivity rather than an allergy, but whatever it is, toothpaste is not supposed to hurt! If it's burning then that's bad and you should try to find a new one if possible!
