I don't know why people are giving both Rouge and Magneto a hard time I mean we all know who is going to be with Rouge at the end so really people need not be so extreme about the hate I understand of having different opinions but to the point of shunning those who want to choose... does it really matter I mean it one follows canon or not shouldn't be hounded to those who want to take a opposite thoughts on the topics at hand I mean really why does everyone need to do this 🤦♀️

idk thinking about the birthday party today and just . when ramon first brought up fits birthday ages ago i don’t remember exactly what stream it was but he told ramon that he would be happy with it being just the two of them . it took him a while to agree with ramon about inviting pac .
thinking about how today and how so many people showed up - like bad and phil weren’t even streaming, luzu was going to come but had to leave early, and pac left him a fucking trident of all things when he couldn’t make it . literally everyone online and their eggs showed up . dapper logged in after the party had started to show up !
i genuinely don’t think fit understood until today how much the others on the island actually cared about him . he STILL probably doesn’t fully understand . like he was even telling ramon that they don’t need to take up anyone’s time because they were planning on doing a dungeon (which was actually his party butttt he didn’t know that) DURING it .
idk and i KNOW there were some extremely emotional letters but empanada’s hit hard . thank you for protecting me but let us protect you sometimes too . i hope you feel as loved as you are .

hickman really has the ideal writer's job. he gets to start a bunch of stuff and write the beginnings to cool concepts and he never has to follow up on any of that. they just give it to someone else and it's not his problem anymore. just vibes straight up

happy holidays :)
[ID: A reddish monochrome drawing of Sigma and Chuuya from Bungou Stray Dogs. They are standing side-by-side and looking into the camera.
Sigma is on the left and is noticeably taller than Chuuya. He's wearing a reindeer headband and is dressed in a light turtleneck sweater and a thick overcoat.
Chuuya is on the right and is wearing his hat with a holly leaf and berry decoration on it. He's dressed in his standard button-up and trench coat.
The background is a muted, dark red with lighter snowflakes drifting down. End ID.]

Watching Alone really drives home the low success rates of a single human hunter and makes you appreciate the value of food that can't run away.
It's also a really good example of how hunter gatherer subsistence works.
If you leave 10 humans in the environment with limited resources and no contact or rescue party, 9 of them will be dead in 90 days.all of them will be dead in a little over 100 days.
Even with 2 people, starvation tends to set in after a couple months.
And yeah, people from hunter gatherer cultures they'd probably be better at this than a bunch of Americans who do it as a side hustle, but there's only so much one person can do in one day. It's almost never enough.
It's too much for one human to collect enough berries to have vitamin c through the winter. It's too much for one human to hunt and process enough big game regularly to feed themselves. it's too much for one human to build an insulated home and then monitor their heat source to keep that home from catching fire.
It's too much to make and use sharp tools without injuring yourself, and it's too much to try and do all the work hurt if you do. It's too much to go out and find more food when your inability to find safe food made you sick.
On the other hand, if you put 10 people out in the environment together with limited resources and occasional contact with other small groups, you'd have a community that could last indefinitely.
For all that we glorify stories of the lone individual against the environment, it very much isn't how we evolved to survive.

I was at work today, and I had customers who only spoke Spanish, and we all got out our phones to go to google translate. We're passing our phones to each other to read and type responses and at the very end we smiled and they went, "thank you!" in english and I respond, "¡Gracias!" and honestly? Things like this make me so happy to be alive.

one of the funniest(........?) ways my brain has decided to cope with [gestures vaguely at lifelong abuse at the hands of the parents] is that i don't remember that this isn't normal most of the time. like i get shocked and confused when i see people talking about how they love their parents or something nice that their parents casually do for them. my brain seems to genuinely believe most of the time that abuse is the norm and anything better than that is shocking and rare
