not to get all "actually☝️" about it but. the whole point of this is the fact that it isn't at all eddie's fault and buck just doesn't know how to properly process or recognize his feelings and know what he's missing *until* he gets presented with a specific situation. in truth buck has no right to be mad at eddie for building bonds with other ppl and it's why he has to do some introspection. this is not a "oh no poor buck eddie apologize to him!!!" thing, it's about buck getting, for lack of a better term, a good emotional humbling. eddie deserves good friendships and relationships, full stop. and if he likes the way he feels when he hangs out with tommy then great!! he's his own person and not a tool to further buck's character. but you also can't expect buck to immediately recognize that because, again, and for the millionth time, the whole POINT is that he doesn't. so if it has to get ugly and uncomfortable and embarrassing for him to do so then that is what will happen and that doesn't make either of them bad people. this is not a blame to be passing around. it's just them being human beings

i know this is a thing that Literally Everyone says, but some people really do need to stop viewing their personal headcanons as Facts.
#listen. i get it.#i am in no way saying you're wrong or that you can't have those headcanons#you can have whatever headcanons you want#but if they're not canon then you can't really get mad when other people have different ideas#because people interpret things differently#this is sort of aimed at a post i saw just now but i didn't want to say this directly to that person#their post was basically about fandoms always putting aro/ace-coded characters in relationships#which is a completely fair point#but it was specifically about aroace *coded* characters with one (1) canonically ace pairing#i feel like the point would have worked better if it was about more canonically aroace characters#rather than characters that they just headcanon as aroace#because again: your headcanon is good but that doesn't mean it's canon#and it doesn't mean it's the only headcanon anyone can ever have#anyway i thought it would be better if i just made this a General Message for the General Public instead of targeting specific people#because that feels kinda rude#and i know i explained about the specific post that caused me to make this post so that might be contradictory idk#all i'm saying is just because you think a certain character is whatever doesn't mean everyone else thinks the same#and it doesn't mean everyone else's ideas aren't equally valid

tbh i understand that character deaths have to happen occasionally, but sometimes a creator will go and kill a character prior to using them to their full potential?? and it won't even hit hard bc it's not a purposeful decision. it's not " it's so tragic that gary died before his time and this arc/story examines that tragedy and how it could have been avoided. " it's " it's so tragic gary died. woulda been more tragic if i put in more work. " like i'm not gonna be sad that you killed gary if you don't do the groundwork before/after. i'm gonna be mad bc you killed a character, and it was a wasted death bc nothing interesting or meaningful happened as a result, or it didn't even need to happen.
i dunno?? maybe people will disagree with me, but i feel like so many series and movies will fall into killing characters for shock value -- or maybe there's a reason, but they poorly execute it by rushing the story or failing to ever tell the story beyond " oh these two mean a lot to each other " without much detail. and that's so frustrating when you get attached to those characters and i'm sorry to rant all of a sudden asdfg i'm just feeling salty as heck over this rn (｡•́︿•̀｡)

They are In Love, but not committed :) I’m also really silly-pleased with how they turned out haha, using Zarla’s VUX retextures as well as these red horns and Namekian antennae haha - anything to make them just a little more alien!
