#is this tmi? oh well. this is the tmi website#trichotillomania#dermatillomania#onychophagia#bfrb#body focused repetitive behavior#ocd#guys guess what? my therapist all but prescribed that i get a manicure to prevent picking at my skin#apparently after a year with this therapist i never mentioned my finger picking until this week#and she was like 'ok since you find it tough to paint them yourself get a manicure. self care and preventative'#because my cuticles are horrific due to me constantly picking at them and the sides of my fingers#so i've always been too embarrassed to go to a nail salon and my therapist was like 'exposure therapy!'#currently my nails are sloppily painted because i can't hold a brush still and they're already chipping after like 5 days#actually they probably started chipping on the second day honestly.#i need to redo my twists a bit which actually satisfies the trich urges since i'll be running my fingers through my hair to do it#but i won't actually be pulling. but also. i will be getting the shed hairs out. so. kind of fulfills that.#but right now my nails are long enough for me to feel them sometimes hit my keyboard. which. isn't normal for me.#and despite the nail polish i feel the urge to bite them shorter ahhhhh#anyway if you're Black with natural hair and have trich i HIGHLY suggest mini twists since it helps deter me from pulling#sure i have to redo it every few weeks but seriously. game changer. harder to find individual hairs to pull.

Not me brainstorming ideas for my post op tattoo (context) like I'd contact the tattoo artist tomorrow and not in a 1,5 year or more
This was where my inspiration took me today I guess :'D
#bold of me going for colour in most of these since none of my other things have colour x'D#after all this is only what ideas I have rn :'D#as mentioned I don't think I'll be able to get a chest tattoo for at least one year and a half#in half a year I've been promised to start appointments with a therapist again about the surgery#then if I'm lucky I'll get approved#and then there's a waitlist on at least a year last I heard#and then I need to heal a bit first#so when we arrive at that point in time who knows if I've better ideas#or if I've changed my mind#I hope to have käärijä in my life for years to come still#or at least feel the same sort of gratitude for him showing me how to love my body and/or feel neutral about it when dysphoria hits#look at me being chatty in the tags yet again#also - these are of course only concepts#I will probably have send the reference picture as well to the tattoo artist if I actually went to find one to do these tomorrow x'D#I hope you like them :3#I really enjoy number 2 (top left) and 3 (mid)#jere pöyhönen#käärijä#cha cha cha#mine#my own art

I've so far only used it for friends but now I'm wondering if any of you guys would be interested...
#lots of people make rec lists and i sorta feel like i have a lot of the same ones that everyone always does#but also that could just be the curse of knowledge where im like “yeah ofc everyone knows about X Fic!!!”#when in fact maybe they do not :wheeze:#anyway. just wanna gauge if anyone would want it#idk how often ill update the list#i have a shit ton of DP fics on my To Read/Bookmarks and if i haven't read at leaat enough to make a judgment#i dont put it on the rec list#I've been mostly focused on working on getting through my unread book collection at home rather than fics atm BUT#the list is both a way for me to keep track of my fave fics and also when friends outside the phandom wanted a rec i could ask what#flavor of thing they wanna read and then pick something or send them the doc so they could pick#Everytime I work on the list I start thinking so hard about fics I read years ago or on FFnet and I can't remember the names#Or more than a few scenes....#Rip the real ones from back in the day#I'll at some point be making a new pinned post and so if people do want this I'll post it and then link it in my pinned post#so it's easy to find#danny phantom fanfiction#Danny Phantom fanfic recs

#amphibiuary2023#hoo boy I put this one off for so long because I started it and was like#ehhhh this is not as fun as I was expecting lol#still had fun! just not my favorite thing to do#which is a good thing!#because I bought this at work a few years (!) ago and I keep having to stop myself from buying more ceramaic figures#every time we get more in because they are SO CUTE but I DON'T NEED THEM#and I think actually painting this one has cured me of that desire lol#this is a flattering angle and doesn't show his flaws lol#I put some of that snow texture paint on the back intending it to look like toad skin but it looks more like he is diseased#also! he lights up! but! when you turn the light on you can see all the poorly done brush strokes D: so the light will stay off :)#oh shoot I just remembered I meant to do a gloss top coat oh well I'll get to that later have a matte frogge
