sorry your Sirius Black playlist!?!!! there’s something about someone making a collection of songs that speak to sirius as a person, songs he’d love, things that unequivocally say him him him. listening to someone’s (actually good) sirius black playlist is really the same feeling as reading a really beautiful fic that hits all the notes in it’s characterisation- like reading a chunk of dialogue or introspection or a letter they’ve written that makes you miss a person you don’t even know and isn’t even real. like yeah

also wanna make my own now but i think if i tried i’d fail in two ways, i’d definitely have overlap with some of the songs you used and there’s no way i’d keep it down to a perfectly sized 35 song masterpiece. the most i could do is order it properly but it would still spiral into a 100+ song, rambling autobiography of sirius’s entire life

ah hi omg thank you!! sirius' playlist is one of my better character playlists i'm glad you like it thats such a sweet compliment xx there are just soooo many s-coded songs out there he's so good for playlist purposes!! and i found it so hard to whittle it down to 35 even looking at it now im thinking hm...x and y should be on there too :-/ but a strict max on playlists is helpful for giving them a bit of structure i think...makes you really narrow it down to the essentials (also makes it easier to order) xx would lav to see ur own playlist tho!! what are you thinking what would be on it!!
