Iconic Creepypasta Duos

(All Platonic)

Toby and Jane!

Ultimate best friends, like everyone in the mansion knows they’re besties.

Toby originally was drawn to Jane because she reminded him of his sister, but slowly him and Jane worked through his idea of her. After that, Tony realized that Jane would always be there for him, so he wanted to support her too.

Through Toby, Jane is allowed to be weird and unleash her inner monologue without judgement, which is why she appreciates him so much. He’s a girls guy 100%

Around the mansion, you almost never see them apart. They both also aren’t the biggest fans of Jeff, though they’re pretty close with Liu.

Ben and EJ!

These two are consistently getting caught in random shenanigans. Both of them being naturally curious and knowledge hungry, it’s pretty easy for them to lurk around. They’re like shadow best friends or gossip friends.

They see all the shit around the mansion and don’t hesitate to spread it around. Tbh these two are the Regina Georges of the mansion.

Jack is the smarter one when going into one of their curiosity missions, but he’s still stupid when it comes to blowing his cover. Ben is the one who insinuates their missions, like why has Slenderman been leaving the house lately? They found out Slendy Wendy had brothers.

Jeff and LJ!

Most sadistic mfers, they prank an ungodly amount. Both are loud and comedic, Jeff is more extreme though. These two can NOT go on a mission together because they will fail.

The person they prank the most would be Ben probably. Ben is easy to persuade into doing dumb shit so he’s kind of their TV.

You will find Jeff stacking donuts on Jacks nose for funzies. They are consistently doing dumb stuff, it’s funny, but they kind of act like those guys in your math class.

Nurse Ann and Bloody Painter!

Ann and Helen are a lot closer then the rest of the pastas think. Both being introverted, when they hang it’s mostly in their rooms or the medical hall. Since they aren’t as crazy or loud, they’re often overlooked.

Neither mind though, both of them get pretty funny when they’re alone. Most of what they do is watch dumb shit or cartoons. (Both avid fans of SpongeBob)

You will find these two doing really weird shit if they think no one is looking. They will actively make you feel left out two with the amount of inside jokes they have.

Hoodie and Liu!

These two are also really quiet, not really close friends but they’re on missions together a lot. They share a similar music taste and often give each other playlists to listen to.

Even though they’re work partners, they talk occasionally outside of their missions. Liu is naturally hella funny and Hoodie is a giggler.

Neither of them are extremely close, but they’re getting there.

Jason the Toymaker and EJ!

Jason is always getting hurt, this bitch is clumsy asf. Over this EJ and Jason started becoming friends. At some point at the mansion, you’ll notice Jack hitting Jason over the head with a thick book because Jason’s a little bit of a Himbo.

Think of Jason as Blackstar from Soul eater and Jack is Death the kid. Jason causes almost too much havoc for Jack, but they still bond regardless. Even if Jack is beating the shit out of Jason.

They aren’t as close as Ben and Jack, but they’re still good friends.

Sally and Judge Angels!

I don’t know much about Judge Angels, but I feel like she’d take a quick liking to Sally. Sally is a sassy mf and Dina returns that energy, which is prob why Sally likes her so much.

Most the Pastas are scared of returning sass to sally since she has the most power in the house, but Dina doesn’t. Dina and Sally together are like balls of fire.

Both of them actively pull pranks and blame it on Jeff and LJ. Then they’ll prank them themselves. The 4 of them have a cute little prank war going on.

Jane and Clockwork!

Jane is everyone’s best friend, she generally gets along and likes most the people in the mansion. When Clockwork came along tho, they just hit it off immediately!

Both of their crude humor just bounced perfectly off each other. You can always find them giggling about some weird shit. Think of their relationship like Brittney and Trixie’s on YouTube.

They have talked about starting a podcast before, they’re literally like sisters.

Candypop and Slenderman!

Candypop is very… personal. I mean he gets close. He’s also the same height as Slenderman. Candypop has an obsession with bothering those who are reserved, he’s weird with everyone. He’s always taking people out of their shells.

Still, him and Slenderman are essentially the ultimate duo. Candypop gets along well with his brothers too. Seriously, most the time Candypop is talking Slenders (nonexistent) ears off.

It’s so often to see Candypop following around Slenderman that the other pastas started harassing both of them. Slender pays no mind to this.

Candypop and Puppeteer!

Another case of the Candypop disease puppeteer was blessed with. The menace. Honestly though, these two are best friends and they find enjoyment on missions together. Whenever Candypop isn’t up Slendermans ass, he’s up puppeteers. Seriously Candypop is a menace.

Since they’re some of the only creepypastas that kill outside of their assignments, typically they go on sprees together in their free time.

You may never see them together but you can always hear them laughing together. (Seriously, they’re always laughing and it’s a little scary because imagine it’s 3AM and you hear 2 grown men giggling?) (it’s kind of hot tho ngl)

Apologies to @sleepycrowhours for stealing the tags but i want to make a point about learning irish (and I think it applies to language learning as a whole) Duolingo (especially the app, the website is better to be fair but not by much) shouldn't be your primary, or even secondary resource for language learning, it should be a supplement, like flash cards because that's basically what duolingo (Esp. the app) is. It's electronic flash cards, it's nice for vocabulary but horrible for learning grammar, it's yes or no, right or wrong, and language is more fluid than that.

In colloquial speak, if you get it more or less right, the speaker will probably get it, (especially with something as minor as séimhiú and urú which is the english equivalent to switching his/her/their, while duolingo will tell you a sentence is a complete bust if you replace gcat with chait with cat which contexually, speakers will fix themselves and probably won't even mention it to you. Not to mention language is fluid, speakers won't talk like a text book, they'll use conjunctions and phrases you dont know, they'll invent words on the fly.

You should always be learning from books, movies (Yu Ming is ainm dom or cáca milis for irish aimed at young children, an cailín ciúin for more general cinema), poetry (géibheann, an gnáthrud, etc.), music (Teir abhaile riú, oró sé do bheatha 'bhaile, an dreolín, etc.), tv (all of TG4, they have spongebob), RTE player is available for free online.

Buying an irish enlish dictionary, using focloir and teanglann, and reading grammar books will help, writing irish helps too because it makes you look up words you dont know. I had no idea how to use the subjunctive and imperative before, now i do.

All of the info i wrote about séimhiú's and urú's can be found with google, and all of my words of the day are on focloir and teanglann.

tl;dr, using only duolingo is going to give you more robotic speak that even textbook, your vocab will be kind of weird and hyper-specific (kinda like how only learning in a classroom only teaches you to speak about yourself and your family and nothing else). Read irish, write irish, live irish. Remember, you weren't taught your native tongue formally, 80% of what you learn comes from just picking up and talking to people, family, friends, teachers, and maybe 20% was taught in the first few years of school (and a lot of that is written/spelling anyway not actually communicating)

Request: Joe with his lazy wife

If someone told you that you, the laziest person in the world, would be dating an athlete you would have laughed your ass off. But people say opposites attract and that's how Joe came into your life. In the beginning, you tried to be fit, and go for walks or jogging but the truth was...you weren't made for that. Since elementary school, you prefer to lose any game that keep you moving, you hate sports class, and although you dance around when listening to music, it wasn't as physical as practicing a sport. When you asked him why he married your lazy ass, he just shrugged. "I mean, I knew what was getting into" he explained "but you have the most interesting mind" You raised your eyebrows. "Like I am crazy or something?" He laughed. "No, you have weird ideas. And I like our weird conversations" "It's because you are kinda weird too, baby" you said, smiling. "Yeah, I know" You were grateful to have a rich, handsome, and strong husband who love you for who you were. The things you considered flaws, he found them endearing. He never told you to work out more or be something you weren't. He never suggested changing your clothes or style to fit more with the WAG lifestyle. He liked you. You were resting on the couch watching Netflix and eating chips when he arrived from work. "Baby" he turned the lights on and came closer to you to kiss your forehead. "What are you watching?" "It's a documentary about mushrooms," you said. "Oh, interesting" he went to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. "Mushrooms are really cool" you yelled from the living room, "Can you bring me a bottle of water too, please?" He appeared minutes later handing you a bottle of water. You sat on the couch and tried to open the lid, but your weak hands couldn't get the job done. After trying a couple of times, Joe said, exasperatedly: "Give me that" he opened the lid for you. -doesn’t know half the time what he’s doing and why he’s there. he’s just.. there.

-is always shaking no matter what. Exhausted or ecstatic, always shaking.

-has 10 cats, treats them like children. when he goes to bed, they all just pile on, one after the other. (likes them better than his actual kids, but he doesn’t say nothing)

-If York ever did a musical, I feel like Cal would be like the best friend or second to the role. (Ex: Janis and Damian, Hamilton and Lauren’s, Plankton and Karen or SpongeBob and Patrick.)

-Jersey knows practically every song from every musical from York forcing him to be his duo. (I lied)

What's one of your favorite childhood memories?

Hello, friend, good to see you, even if you do hide in the shadows. Hope you are well. <3

Let me tell you about a time I fell in love with storytelling all over again. I grew up on stories; I loved having my dad read to me when I was little (we read Narnia books, the Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings, Robin Hood, etc. I loved *all* of it). I loved the stories of found families and tight friendships like it was my bread and butter because I hadn't made any friends I could get closed to bc family moved around a lot (a decision I don't resent my family for now, but despised as a kid), and I wasn't really *that* close to my family either due to probably a variety of factors, not excluding mental health issues. I won't delve for the sake of length, you get the point. I was a sad and lonely child and my closest friends were imaginary. Anyway back to more concrete events:

We had just moved from Florida to Virginia, which is about 1000 miles away and over 13 hour drive (for context), and we had just started a new co-op (think like homeschool school, but it only met like once a week, it was one of the ways we'd start building up a new social circle or something). And one of the classes I took in was something music (more likely theater? related but that might have a different semester) and the first week of this co-op I remember they gave us a bingo card with a bunch of famous movie soundtracks and they told us we were going to identify the movie based on the song alone.

I got 2/20 or something bc I hadn't even heard of most of these movies bc i just hadn't been exposed to it. It was things like Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, maybe spongebob- pop culture stuff that I just hadn't seen. So everyone else was getting excited and I was feeling more and more out of the loop and alone.

I swear this turns happy at the end, bear with me, anon. They play the final music track and I don't recognize it at all but it fills me with such great joy and a call for a new adventure that I hadn't even realized music could do that before (we didn't listen to a lot of our own music growing up, it was mainly whatever my parents found appropriate or what my dad liked).

It was How To Train Your Dragon. Test Drive. John Powell. And then like the musical scores, they showed the scene it was from. A boy and his dragon racing, flying through the air. And I fell in love With the characters arcs per se, but I could tell there was a deep lore there and a story of friendship that I craved so much. It was also right up my alley with stories my Dad had read me so there was also that. But like the music was fantastic, I really liked the visuals at the time (i usually hate most 3D animation films, HTTYD is the exception), and I craved the story behind it.

I saved up money from Birthday and Christmas and ended up buying it. And I watched it. And I fell in love even harder. Cause, in some sense, I related to hiccup too much. I was a creative person, like he was, I had very little friends like he did at the beginning, we had similar senses of humor at some points, and he was fascinated with knowing and learning things. And he had a big dragon friend and i again craved that friendship deeply. So he added to the crew of imaginary friends and I went on many imaginary adventures with Hiccup and Toothless and told myself so many stories that I wish I could remember now for writing inspo.

I ended up moving from Virginia to middle of nowhere Midwest US (not saying where in case the Fey Find Out), and I did end up meeting my IRL Toothless. A little bit scary on the outside at firsts, but with an actual heart of a silly, goofy, dragon. (brb, im getting emotional just thinking about it. It'd be about 7 years now? Coming up? I may be bad at math. I feel old and happy and content.)

So yeh, in short it was a very much right place, right time kind of story and film. I still watch it a lot whenever I need a comfort film that's not as long as LOTR or something. I love the soundtrack and all of the things about it. Sorry, this was probably way longer than it should've been but IDK how to describe my love for this story without giving you some context.

Omg I really want to talk about something! (Especially because my blog is probably going to be flooded with odd content because of it)

So like... Childhood Memory Unlocked! Want to see if anybody else can relate!

TW: Unrestricted Internet Access as a Kid, Violent/NSFW Parodies of Children's Content

So, I feel like the people who grew up with the early days of the internet, specifically with like... unrestricted access all have some sort of weird childhood trauma because of it, right? I just had the most like... TRANSCENDENTAL experience reliving some of it.

So, don't judge me too hard... but I do listen to Friday Night Funkin' mod songs. It kinda helps me drown out irritating noise in a way that helps me focus. If I listen to songs that have lyrics, it will make me want to write something or whatever, because I focus on the lyrics. Anyway, that isn't the important part. I was listening to a random playlist of songs, when I came across a really good one called "Stomach Flu". If any of you know the mod that it is from you probably already know where this is going.

I decided to look up the specific song on YouTube and find out which mod it is from so I can see if it had any more good songs. Turns out it's from a SpongeBob Parody mod, and was for freaking SPONGEBOB SICKPANTS. I took one look at that little gremlin and was like "I KNOW you from somewhere, but where"? Then like... I found a reupload and was like "I saw you when I was a kid? Wtf?" I believe I found him from YouTube, but he was also on Newgrounds, I believe. I'm just going to put the Newgrounds tag on this in case any of the other parodies were on there.

Needless to say, it led me down the rabbit hole of remembering the oddest and most gruesome parodies from my childhood, like SpongeBob plays SAW and some other one where SpongeBob was like... A killer or something (I know, real descriptive. There were a million of those probably)? Then I started remembering my MLP phase with all that horror, and how I found YouTube through those Sonic Sprite Videos that were definitely NOT child friendly! Lol but right now I am mainly obsessed with trying to find all of those SpongeBob parodies, because of COURSE I can't be obsessed with a children's show without it specifically being the not child friendly parts of it. 😁

So like... Two main things:

If you see the most random, obscure, and unnerving things being posted on here about parodies from kids shows, don't worry, I will be putting them under read more's. Also, just know that you can blame Friday Night Funkin' music for reviving those memories, as well as unrestricted Internet Access. So like... Don't be concerned if you see me making some sort of SpongeBob Parody Multiverse on my account. That is a perfectly normal thing for a wild ChronicBeans to do! (Or do be, I am pretty sure it isn't considered normal behavior but I can't stop-)

Also, I am just kinda curious if anybody else has had the same experience. Like, seeing the most cursed things on the internet as a kid, then suddenly having those memories unlocked from a random piece of media later in life. Also, if you remember any of those weird SpongeBob parodies and know where to find them, I would be very thankful if you let me know! There are so many I can remember, but like, not remember the names. I really want to find them.

SHINJI

• eats peanut butter and jelly with goldfish on them probably

• i think that if he were to try on clothes he’d be the kind of guy to say “do these yoga leggings make my ass look fat? please please please tell me my ass looks fat”

• i feel like he’s really bad at flirting

RUKIA

• probably has worn platform heels to grow taller than ichigo out of spite

• her favorite disney movie is probably brother bear, which is a top tier film

• if she were to have a full ass bedroom she probably get a bunch of cute stuff for it and organize everything

• when swimming she probably gets on renji’s shoulders while ichigo’s on chad’s shoulders and they play wrestle

• loves shopping with orihime probably, it’s like a whole new experience for her and she’s probably really amazed by everything

• definitely takes more than one sample from the samples table on accident

• when at the mall with orihime she wants to know this victoria and her secret

• orihime would probably have to drag her out of the place with a hand clapped over her eyes and the other holding rukia’s leg

• probably likes wearing rings

• she’ll try bonding with byakuya by reading about normal sibling things and be all like “brother! to bond we should try wearing a get along shirt together for 24 hours!”

• it’s stupid but byakuya wants to be a cool and nice older bro so they wear the shirt and look really proud while doing it

• rukia probably goes nuts for juice, especially if it was a juice flavored slushie

URAHARA

• this man probably goes dumpster diving for his clothes and there’s absolutely no shame in that game

• he’s definitely found a dumpster baby or two during his search

• looks like he eats subway and jersey mike’s religiously

• i think he’ll play like uno or poker with the kids

• probably stays up late talking to yoruichi about dumb shit like “what if pasta was purple—we should make pasta purple”

• he’ll claim that the smell is just his natural musk

• probably watches bad reality tv, stuff like love is blind

• he watched the entire twilight saga and had a blast doing it

KENPACHI

• probably can’t cook

• idk how yachiru survived with him all those years bc i feel like he would try cutting up stuff to make food but it was cut TOO aggressively and it’s inedible

• probably let’s yachiru play with his hair

• he eats bowls of nails for breakfast…without any milk

• i feel like he’d run into a mannequin at a mall and then try to fight it bc it was “challenging” him

• sleep fights

• like it’s a natural thing for him, he just thrashes around and fights shit in his sleep

• when he gets too aggressive it’ll take a lot of people to hold him down and tell him “NO YOU CAN’T FIGHT THE BEES”

• but then he turns around and dresses up with ikkaku and yumichika for yachiru’s tea parties

URYUU

• i like to think that he enjoys collecting something weird, like garfield themed phones or paper clips

• he probably goes nuts in the office depot store

• he’s kind of awkward so i imagine he’d be the kind of person to just talk about his special interests to people and be like “ha, they should love me by now for knowing so much about this thing”

• canonically good at sewing and such so i think he actually enjoys making clothes for everyone like silly little hats and purses

• i think he does laundry for fun

• he’s probably the designated picture taker/quote book peep and he really enjoys it

• the man probably has organized BINDERS of quotes from the year, month, and d a y they were said

• i think he’d listen to lofi and bedroom pop kind of music while he worked on sewing or something

• has probably memorized the entire dictionary word for word

• i feel like he hates bugs

• like, terrified of them

• probably took up making friendship bracelets with orihime

AIZEN

"What do you mean you can't?!",father shouted, his fist clenched with her necklace in it.

"I'm so sorry but I can't. It's against the Grand Priest's orders.",Shenron said, he looked truly sorry that he couldn't do anything. Grand Priest forbid the Dragonballs from bringing someone back to life until all the Super Dragonballs were found. Sounded pretty suspicious to me. But what did I know. I was a kid.

"Damnit Shenron!!" My father slammed his fist onto the ground, breaking half of the lookout in the process. He held back otherwise it would've been obliterated.

He couldn't hold it back anymore. He broke into tears. I ran over to him, tears also running down my cheek, and for the first time in forever, I embraced him. At first he pushed me away but I guess he needed a reminder of her so he pulled me back. We were on our knees crying. Fxck Saiyan pride. It didn't matter.

He didn't care about his pride at that moment, he didn't care that everyone saw him at his most vulnerable. What he cared for most was gone. My mother was gone. And she wasn't coming back.

It's been 4 years since the incident and to be honest we still weren't coping but we survived.

To be honest I think the only real reason we tried to keep it together was because of Bulla. My spoilt, little sis. Daddy's princess. I remember how I was disappointed when I found out I was getting a sister but now seeing her blue hair, pretty eyes and fascination with my mothers old tools, it just reminded me of mom. She was a little version of my mom. Stubborn, beautiful and smart...even for a baby.

I was babysitting my little sis and she ran off somewhere when I wasn't looking.

"Not again." I sighed.

I went around our large house to look for her and finally reached my parents old room. Father doesn't sleep there anymore. Too many memories that it hurt him to wake up with my mother not next to him.

I quietly entered and found the little troublemaker playing with my mothers old CDs. I quickly grabbed them before she could damage them. Big mistake.

She burst out crying and I didn't know how to calm her this time. So in panic of getting a huge scolding and maybe a "discipline" from my father, I quickly put it in her CD player and played it. On it came one of her favourite old songs by this one artist. Luther I think. Luther Vandross, Nothing better than love.

Even though she's ahead of the times, my mom found nothing more enjoyable and nostalgic than playing an old song her parents listened to when they were teens.

Immediately Bulla calmed down as she listened to the music. I lifted her up and started swaying to the beat. Usually I would hate listening to this but I felt connected to my mom when I did. It reminded me of the times we'd dance together.

When I'd dance with her. How I'd love to dance with my mother.

All the memories came flooding back. When my mom's favourite song would play and she get us to dance, and force my dad to as well, though I could tell he enjoyed it.

Family bonding, she'd call it.

I danced with little Bulla in my arms. She smiled and giggled which warmed my heart a bit. Dang, I become such a softie when I'm around her.

Unfortunately our moment was ruined when an angered force entered. Father.

The music stopped and my heart sank.

"What are you doing?",he asked angrily.

"I-I was just, Bulla got-"

He held the disc in his hand and I could see and those emotions he bottled up were ready to be set free.

"Get out!",he yelled, startling Bulla. The poor thing started sobbing which broke my father's heart. His eyes told me.

He sighed. "I'm sorry. It's just-"

"It's okay, dad. We'll leave.",I said as I headed to the door trying to calm Bulla. "Come on sis, let's go watch SpongeBob."

The mere mention of his name perked her up.

I heard my dad sigh and the door shut. I turned around but he was nowhere to be seen.

"He finally went into the room."

As Bulla and I were watching her favourite ridiculous show, I heard something. Something breaking.

I put her down on the carpet and ran towards my mother's room. I listened outside the door.

It reminded of the days I would do so when he locked himself in there. When he was tired of being vulnerable in front of people and just needed to be alone to let out his sadness.

I heard something else break.

No.

I kicked the door down and lunged myself at him to stop him from destroying a framed picture of our family on vacation. My mother looked especially beautiful, like always. I grabbed the picture from him.

"Stop!",I yelled.

My father's eyes were red and a bit puffy but I tried to ignore that. He bared his teeth in anger.

"Boy!!" He raised his hand and I shut my eyes preparing for impact. He's never been violent with me before, it's the first he's even raised a finger at me. I guess he finally broke. And you know what? I was gonna take it.

He brought down his hand and muttered an apology before leaving.

I looked at the picture frame in my hand and realised I crushed it by accident. Tiny shards of glass fell onto the floor in slow motion. The picture was still okay. That what mattered.

If I could get another chance, another step, another dance with her. I'd play a song that would never end.

"How I'd love to dance with you again, mom."

I just put my lil'sis to bed and my father was nowhere to be seen. I understood his pain. There's a reason Saiyans were raised with little love and emotion.

I went to my room early. Today was too much. My emotions were killing me. And I was only 12. Where have the years gone?

I played the CD I saved, in my room and shut the door.

I let myself fall onto the bed and listened to another song by Luther Vandross. Dance with my father.

The title and song needed tweaking for me.

I decided to rest my eyes a bit and enjoy the music.

I opened my eyes to another familiar setting. The lookout. Shenron was in front of me with the grand priest.

I was on my knees, tears in my eyes. Next to the Grand Priest was my mother. My dear mother. I tried to stand and grab her but it was as if I was stuck to the ground.

"Why are you here child?",the Grand Priest asked.

"I want-I need my mother back. Please!",I begged. "Me, my father, Bulla. We need her. Our family isn't the same without my mother."

"I'm afraid I can't do that. For you see-"

"I know, damnit!!!",I shouted.

"My, my, what a feisty child.",Grand Priest said. "Just like your mother."

"I'm not asking for much." Tears started flowing to my eyes. "Could you just bring back the only woman he ever loved? Please. Dear Lord he's dying...to dance with my mother again."

The grand Priest tilted his head and tapped his chin.

"Hmm.",he hummed. "No."

My sadness turned to anger. I turned Super Saiyan as I tried to attack him but I was stuck. "Damn you!!"

"If I could get one final step, one final walk, one final dance with her...",I whispered. But a miracle happened. He heard me.

"Very well then."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "What? Really?! But-"

Before I could continue, I heard my mother's voice as she ran over to me. And as if the weight of what was holding me down was lifted, I got up and ran towards her. She hugged me and I felt compelled to keep her in my arms.

"I'd play a song that would never ever end." I looked my mom I'm the eyes. "Because I'd love to dance with my mother again."

She wiped a tear from my cheeks, her eyes starting to water. "Don't cry mom.",I whispered. I was so happy. She was here again.

As if on cue the music started playing. Yep you guessed it. Luther Vandross. I felt a bit obsessed with him.

I started dancing with my mom enjoying every moment until I felt an arm on my shoulder. I looked back to see my father with Bulla in his arms. I took Bulla in my arms and watched as my parents danced together. Like the good old days.

I hoped this song would never end.

Thing is...

It did.

Once it did, everything went dark. My mother vanished and my father turned to dust. I reached for my sister but the closer I got, the further she did.

I let out a scream and before I knew it...

I woke up. It was a dream. The same yet different. The songs never did play forever. Which was weird because this time I put it on repeat. I sat up and went to check on the CD. It was gone.

"He needs it more than me."

I went back to bed and thought about my dream. We were happy, after so long. But it never lasts. It never did.

Everytime I fall asleep, this is all I ever dream.

i may have gotten pretty silly today

So one thing about Comet is that he isn't an OC of DJMM, he's the DJMM from an alternate universe of SB. However said AU is so convoluted in lore and weird shit and so much disconnection from SB and FNAF in general that he's more of an OC at this point.

like for reference I've had Comet/SOS(AU where comet comes from) for a little over a year now and only today have i thought about literally the entire rest of the Security Breach cast.

AND I'M SO GLAD I DID!!! THESE GUYS GO HARD!!

The plex is actually wholly atompunk/spacethemed and directed for more mature audiences, with the band's "story" being that Freddy, the last bear alive along with his best friend Chica, are space cadets stuck on Mars and face off with Roxy the Robot and Monty the Martian, who want to eat them in typical martian fashion, but eventually befriend them in order to get back home. Their shows are less concerts but outright small musicals.

Freddy is a bit more stupid than his Glamrock counterpart but he still means well, even though he's a bit of a coward initially.

Chica is more adventurous and more mission-focused than her glamrock counterpart but she still sometimes gets carried away from her objective.

Roxy is still arrogant but she's much more reserved than she is in SB. However, she's also dripping with sarcasm and I realize she's kind of like Karen from Spongebob, except a little scarier.

Monty is... pretty much the same actually. He does lean into appearing more scary, though.

The Daycare attendant, since, yknow, he's already the sun and moon, in this AU he's actually the attendant for a planetarium exhibit in the plex. He appears monotone, but his job is to get to infodump about stars and planets and how cool space is, so he's actually pretty excited about that.

Then there's Comet. He's still a DJ in the West Arcade (I dont draw him with his headphones since I usually draw him in the state he left the Plex), but he also works as a stagehand, and composes the music for the band.

Interestingly, the "Bouncer Mode" feature of his isn't experimental - It's fully developed and comes in use, escorting out patrons from the plex for whatever trouble they've found themselves in. And with other strange things about him, he comes from a seperate company that Fazbear entertainment regularly collaborates and works alongside, and has his own mechanics that come every week to check on him, one of those mechanics actually being Vanessa, who plays a drastically different role here.

Though, there's another animatronic too - @artastic-friend's Rudy!

meow i deleted tumblr pinterest and fb apps off my phone logged out of reddit ehh what else. only turned my laptop on to watch two spongebob episodes while eating. i think i need to avoid my laptop too. wld listen to one or two songs and then turn them off whenever i would feel that im starting to bandage the boredom/silence w music that's a big one 4 me lmao

not scrolling feels really hard but i think i feel more intentional abt my irl activities, especially in silence. i feel like it usually feels so painful for me to tear myself away from laying&phone staring to cook, walk, tidy, read, make art, anything lol, and some of these activities do feel rewarding but w some im never really present and just waiting for the moment when i can plop back into bed (like tidying and cooking) and today it felt different! like i was cleaning out an old candle jar and felt really Mindful about it and enjoyed it & ive been meaning to do it for a long time but it's not as appealing as scrolling. also i turned my tulip socks into tabi socks so i can wear them w my nike tabis <3 and they became soooo comfortable i think i only want tabi socks now. and i found a pretty unused lil notebook and would take everyday notes in it instead of phone like ive been meaning to do

now even when im in bed it feels easier to feel when u need to get up and move, u aren't so sucked into a screen which is nice. and i haven't tested it yet but maybe the boredom i always feel when considering a walk can be aided by not having it compete with scrolling? i do have valid reasons to be bored with this city but that's another story

Ahhh I can’t choose honestly. Maybe like puddingy types? Like I love getting rice pudding and flan and bread pudding at restaurants. Also love good ice cream in the summer

For hangout places I love the weeby stores by me!!!! There’s a spot I love that has rlly good ramen and snacks. I also love going to a specific mall and the barcade w friends. Always love GameStop too.

Omg studying 😭 thank god I’m done w college. If I wanted to get a masters tho 💀 omg. Ok hm. Def practicing. For some types of studying music can help. Other times it doesn’t. Having a specific area helped me like sometimes going to the library or sitting on the floor rather than my bed or in the living room. Having snacks or set goals for myself. Setting a timer could help. Working w ppl who would hold me accountable vs ppl who just wanna chill (less helpful)

Having the tv on is def a distraction or like trying to study passively. I don’t remember all the tools I used honestly. I probably would rewrite the info and give myself practice questions. I definitely struggled to pay attention looking back. Lots of my note docs would be almost blank bc I’d just start writing fanfic. I also attended zoom university for a bit so it was a wash. I sucked at studying in high school. My senior year was full of bs classes that I was actually interested in. I probably should get screened for adhd but my therapist was like you’re fine so 🤷🏼 w/e. I almost failed math sophomore year of hs bc I could not focus I would just draw mermaids in the corners of my notebook. My parents’ friend/a dif teacher tutored me and the one on one help is def the only way I passed. I took an easier class next year that I could bs my way thru and same for my senior year.

In college I’d be like bitch u don’t EAT until u do this math. U get NO free ice cream if u don’t do it >:(. U don’t get to do xyz until after. I will order DOMINOS if u actually try

I am v lucky to have a job I care about and can plan for. It’s like the fine dining and breathing SpongeBob thing. If I don’t care about it it’s thrown out and everything is on fire.

If I were a bird I’d be like omfg write that down WRITE THAT DOWN it’s going in the next h//awks fanfic. I would wanna fly. I’d maybe wanna visit ppl I care about. Like not to do anything creepy tho idek. I probs wouldn’t wanna eat bugs.

Haha I used to need the tv on to sleep at my parents’ house. I also used to have a much easier time w melatonin, weed, or alcohol bc I was constantly anxious there. 🥲 now I can lit sleep in absolute dark and w silence and don’t need any sleep aides. I love the lil fan I have blowing on my face and I love sleeping in the ac. I love my blankets I have some special ones and then a weighted one that is such a game changer. I hate when it’s too hot to sleep or too cold like I don’t like having to bundle. When I lived w my roommates they liked it really cold and I’d basically shiver until I finally crashed. W like a sweatshirt and sweatpants and socks and multiple blankets.

A burrito or burrito bowl bc whenever I was hella sad I’d go to qdoba and it would make me so much happier immediately. And whenever it was free it was an extra boost. I loved being able to choose everything too and like a lot of the staff knew what I was gonna say bc I was there a lot 💀💀💀

This song had potential for top 5, were it not for that fuck ass title/the lyrics. The instrumental track is just too good, I loooooove it so much.

I think this says more about me thank anything else but i just love a pumpy song, it was fun, good track, what else is there to say

25. Still You – Seungkwan

This is me cheating and throwing in an OST but it is far too good and I don’t ever hear anyone talk about it. This song kept me together for half the summer. Go listen right now and tell me im wrong for adding it.

This is partially because of the MV, i simply love cowboy concepts. Just iconic. dont come for me if their new releases are “better” bc this is my list and also i haven’t listened yet. I am behind.

K-pop is very much about singing for me and boys can sing, so memories made the cut. Honestly all their songs have been on repeat for me though, i just love the final chorus of this song ugh

2. Let Me In – EXO

this was my number one song of the year i think. It came out right before i went to japan so all those positive memories are associated with this song, but also like.. she’s just that bitch. My first release with DO, Chen, and Baekhyun on one track together and let me tell you.. This song is just too good. Vocals will always win me over and the entire bridge-last chorus (actually the whole song).. just so good.

O!Ciel plays the violin.

I used to think that was just a reference to the demon associations, because it's a pretty common Thing. (There's the idea that Paganini sold his soul to play so well, and there's also that song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia", and there are probably more references I don't know.)

But.

The fiddle is a pretty important instrument in Celtic music, right? And from what I understand, that's just another name for the same instrument.

(part 2) Hi, it's me again---I've realized that you might have already seen that connection between fiddles/violins and O!Ciel and I just haven't run into your post about it yet, in which case please feel free to ignore my earlier ask. * Under the cut because my reply is long.

There's a direct historical link between the Irish and Scottish immigrants in the early United States, and what would eventually evolve into Country Music. "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is a good example of this actually... parts of the violin solo, particularly the last 30 seconds of the violin solo at the end of this song, sounds almost exactly like what you'd expect of a random Irish folk solo. Scottish and Irish immigrants also influenced American Square Dancing, it's a very bastardized grandchild of Irish step and other Scottish forms of dance. I can't say that "Ireland/the scots/celts invented the violin" because almost every single country in the old world will swear up and down they "invented" what would become the thing. And that's part of why I didn't say anything sooner, it's easily dismissed as a coincidence and something that simply suited his character... But. I do know that the oldest known bowed instrument in the world that was still somewhat intact, was found Dublin and they were said to be as old as the 11th century. Though there are references that suggest people played them even earlier than that. So obviously, the violin is the eventual predecessor of these early instruments and you're right, it's a staple of Celtic music. As much of a scandal as it is to say, we know that stringed + bowed instruments were even older than pipes/bag pipes. There's records of these similar instruments that were bowed and plucked referred to as 'fiddles,' as well. To be honest, the only reason I haven't made mention of it is simply, because there's people who will swear up-and-down that there's a big difference! Between Classical Violin, and "The Celtic Fiddle", and Our!Ciel is more-than-likely learning Classical Violin pieces. It's worth mentioning that a lot of this "Big differences!" people are talking about ... have nothing to do with the instrument itself. The instrument is literally identical. It's just the techniques, song choices, and style that the instrument is played in that they mean... that's it. I can't tell you how many people I've met that sincerely thought that "country fiddles" and "irish fiddles" were literally somehow, entirely different instruments-- that an "irish fiddle" was cheap garbage compared to a "WELL MADE!" overpriced-as-shit violin. Anti-irish sentiments at it's best, what can I say. In terms of stringed instruments with a possible Irish connection, a harp, might have been another option when coming up with his character design and what-not... But unfortunately... harps by then... were so heavily associated with other things as well in Christianity. I don't see it being O!Ciel's first choice (I don't think he'd want to play the harp... it's too "angelic"). Violins are also known, for sounding much more emotional, have that 'haunted' quality, and have a reputation for sounding sad ("Let me play you a song on the world's smallest violin..." from spongebob, comes to mind whenever I think of the violin) and I think it just seemed like the perfect choice, for his character in a general sense. Although! The conscious choice to play it... in the context of his heritage, while playing the part of A Queen-loving Noble Aristocrat ... is a lot like him, in a way. Hiding in plain sight, hiding in the ambiguity. A subtle nod to his heritage that's too subtle for anyone else to notice, or "call him out" for- because Violins are very multi-cultural as well. Integrated. Respected. An instrument, that's just acceptable enough as long as you play it the right way. So what I do think? While it may have been a coincidence, simply because it's such a popular and emotional instrument that is loved across cultures that sincerely suited his character best, however, it's also equally possible that it wasn't a coincidence at all. That these thoughts were considered, by Yana when deciding what instrument Sebastian was going to teach to him.
