I think it’s really cute that Mickbell called Chilchuck a greedy old geezer and was like ‘nyeh nyeh 😠🖕fuck you’ and was giving him the stinkeye from a distance when their parties met up.
and despite that, Chilchuck had no hesitations about taking him to hide in safety. and then they were chill enough to talk shit with each other later lol

It’s so sad to me that a huge part of the Star Wars fandom still talks about how the Jedi lost their way and one of the main reasons is that the fought in the clone wars.
Because this is a children’s show. For children. And in the Jedi crash episode they literally bring up this argument.
“It takes two to fight”
And:
This old man goes off on them. He chooses peace. But what does his peace look like?
The separatists come in and are like “our planet now” and he’s like “ok fine”
And then they use the planet to test out a HUGE weapon that would killed MILLIONS of innocent people and clones. So already his “peace” is just breeding more violence.
But then they decide to use his people as test subjects.
What he was doing wasn’t “peace” it was compliance. He was aiding colonizers and invaders and then they were going to kill him and his entire community because of it.
The separatists were literally conquering planets and killing and enslaving the inhabitants. You wanted the Jedi to sit back and go “sorry man. We like peace. Can’t get involved.”
I just… how can so many people in this fandom misinterpret something that was shoved down their throats??

I love the Star Wars fandom. People will say objectively insane things like “the baby murderer did nothing wrong! It was actually the babies’ fault (and also the one black man in a position of power) that they were murdered!” and “the real bad guys are the religious minority that the evil space fascist empire (which is clearly styled after Nazi Germany) murders and hunts!” and you’re just supposed to act like those are normal and reasonable opinions to have.

Tamlin executing the sentries that were on guard when feyre left the spring court was the most out of character shit to ever happen I can’t believe that’s even canon.
Tamlin who refused to send his sentries over the wall even if it meant potentially saving his court? Tamlin who canonically does not enjoy violence and killing? Tamlin who rhys makes fun of for not being cruel enough? That tamlin killed his sentries just like that 😍?? That’s some bullshit and you know it sjm.

“Rhysta would work better than Feysand because Nesta has the will power to actually put Rhysand in his place and stand up to him”
Nesta facing an angry Rhys:
Feyre facing an angry Rhys:
Tell me again which one of them has the power to put him in his place? Tell me again which one of them he would actually listen to when upset? Oh okay.

We are not the same.
Some folks: SJM foreshadowed a blood duel between Azriel and Lucien in the Bonus Chapter to win Elain’s heart/claim his mate.
Me, an intellectual: SJM foreshadowed the blood duel in regard to Lucien because he will use it to save Elain’s life, likely from Beron, because this time he will be powerful enough to stop Jesminda’s fate from repeating itself again.

One thing I know for SURE is that if Lucien was given the chance to fight Azriel and had the chance to win…he still wouldn’t do it. Not because he believes he wouldn’t win, but because he’s too mature for that and he would KNOW that Elain wouldn’t want violence to win her over.
My guy would be like “Nah I’ll give Elain all the time and space she needs without needing to resort to physical violence because I’m not desperate, and I actually understand her unlike SOME people…” and then walk away 😭
