A Jeff Satur Gifset | Call Me by Fire S3: “《吸引定律》 The Law of Attraction”
This performance was UNHINGED. Completely and utterly insane. Jeff in chains? Jeff doing rock and roll? Flamethrowers?! Playing a guitar with a goddamn power drill??!! Considering this was the song no one else wanted, Team Jeff KILLED. IT.
'You really just can't fuckin' quit me, can you?'
Vitali scoffed, nostrils flaring on exhale and the smoke of his cigarette stung in his nose as his eyes followed Nick's frantic pacing back and forth through the tunnel.
'Assuming I ever was addicted to you in the first place,' he said in return, tilting his head up in defense when Nick's gaze snapped in his direction.
'It means nothing anymore, Nick— you ruined everything for me. There is nothing left for us now.'
As much as Armand's scathing yet subtly sweet descriptions of his loved ones in TVA lay me out, they do tell us a lot about Armand himself:
Louis, whose green eyes are soulful, the very mirror of patient misery, soft-voiced, very human, weak, having lived only two hundred years, unable to read minds, or to levitate, or to spellbind others except inadvertently, which can be hilarious, an immortal with whom mortals fall in love.
I always like to ramble on about Armand and Lestat being opposite sides of the same coin, but @covenofthearticulate was the first one I ever heard say: Louis and Armand are the same side of the same coin. So I often think about how Armand refers to Louis as being "the spirit of the age" when they first meet in the late-1800s, and I wonder — just how much of himself did Armand see reflected back to him in Louis's "patient misery" in their century and a half of knowing each other?
On a lighter note, I can't get over imagining Armand completely losing his composure every time he witnessed Louis somberly and accidentally spellbind some poor mortal (Armand's sense of humor is so special to me, you don't understand!).
I don't understand even slightly when people (YouTube mostly) see Brad MQ and are like 'Abed', etc etc. Like as someone who is literally rewatching community for the first time (genuinely consecutively after my first watch) and watching MQ for the first time SIMULTANEOUSLY with Abed and Brad as my favs in both respective shows, I literally cannot conceptualise them as the same person even if I try. Like if you put them in the same room I'd be like 'oh cool seems legit. How do they know each other' like. DO U GET WHAT I MEAN. i don't look at Abed ans think of Brad I don't look at Brad and think of Abed that's just how it is. AND I'M LITERALLY WATCHING THEIR SHOWS LESS THAN TWO HOURS APART FROM EACH OTHER
helloooo you haven’t heard from me in a while but since i consider u an f1 historian i just saw on tiktok a video of an intro (before the 2012 korean gp i assume) where they had the drivers with gangnam style as the music… i was wondering if you might have it since that has been driving me insaaaane 😭😭 thank you sm catie have a lovely day 🫶
Hallo!!!! Nice to see you again! I'm glad I can be held in such high esteem 😭 But please anon, we def saw the same tiktok, this one, right? A great thanks to the op on tiktok who linked me the video!!
Why did you have to force me think again about all the Gangnam Style stuff in F1 in 2012 though????(ex. BBC vid with PSY, vid/pics of Seb and Mark with PSY, both learning the dance, as well as other clips of drivers such as Felipe and Nico dancing)
I think that because she could do anything, she felt it was boring to use her power for herself and felt more comfortable serving others, and that is why she was so selfless.
