I saw a post today that I didn't want to like..yuh know fuckin hijack cause I saw an artist talk about it. but I wanted to talk about it cause I've had folks unintentionally do stuff in my favor that I didn't appreciate. I've spoken about it on my facebook but not here. I notice this happens way too much and I beg you do not confront me that someone is copying my style... I have been around since the 2000's online. I have had many claim my art, topics, and style inspire them... yes pple will nip from me cause I inspire them and I'm okay with that. As long as no one is being racist towards me and my work I don't care. I'm happy I can inspire others in such a manner..do not go under their art going "this looks like tainted sweet meats art"..its rude af and personally if I see you do it I won't tolerate that and most likely comment on that post congratulating the artist’s work and make you look like a fool ( I’m very petty on that front).I also teach folks paid art classes privately online and the ones I teach under my wings as an apprentice will have styles like mine... THIS IS ON PURPOSE... so cut it tf out... On said post I understood where the artist was coming from about just being used as an inspo resource rather than treated as an artist. An it took me so long to realize what folks were doing when inspired by me cause I was so used to getting white folks be super racist with my my art and extremely fetishy race wise with me in the art community that I couldn't tell the difference if this was like genuine inspo or like are you poppin your rocks off at the fact that a lot of my art is asian/black coded. If that yuh know *spice* was something you can sell off me type thing as yuh brand. Cause I've had it happen where folks copy my work and even one creepy artist stalked me for years ripping my ocs to resell them as “urban adopts” and mentally I didn’t see that as inspo an was like damn just hard R me and get it over with at that point. It was kinda wild.( dont worry tho that artist was quickly called out by black twitter for some racist stuff they drew..like making a black vamp oc getting hung...woo boi...that was...that was something. hoooooooweeeever, I did notice it triggered others in the past when I spoke about it to target folks who just genuinely loved me and my work and that made me feel a bit protective over folks who just enjoyed my work and I inspired them to draw. I think in my older age I can tell the difference very quickly and don't mind folks getting inspired by my work as long as racism and fetish aint the reason cause at that point I wouldn't see that as art inspo just plain overall disrespect to me as a person. Wanted to say a thing cause damn I felt that post and understood it. but this is just for me tho and my experience... every artist is different.

Angst prompt / Writing practice

-Haven't written anything in so long and this is honestly more a way for me to get rid of my crush on someone I can again not have. Gets old so quick istg-

Context: I am profiting off of my feelings because I noticed how when writing i often struggle with describing feelings in detail and believe certain details can really elivate your story to something else. Please do not copy this word for word a this is not my intention for this post. If you need some insperation, take it - Use it to your assistence

It's simple, really. I have come to the conclusion that they aren't interested. It's fine, I say. Because it is. There is plenty of fish out there. Who says this has to be the last day my tea tastes sweet in the morning or the sun warms me up gently for the little time it gets to come out during the dark winter months.

Surely those moments will return better than ever soon enough. I'll wake up day after day living the same exact life. Going to work. Making art. Aiming for what I want to achieve.

So meaningless yet so heavy.

I can't say it's nothing. I mean, it's all fine but is it truly 'nothing'? I sure do feel something. And it's no longer the fuzzy, warm tingling I knew. It's bitter. It's meaningless almost.

It tugs at my sleeves during every time of the day to remind me that it's still very much present, keeping me company when nobody else can at the moment. And while I manage to finish my daily chores during day time it never fails to tell me that my love interest is once again not interested - and by this time I am not even surprised anymore.

I wouldn't describe it as a typical heartbreak. This isn't even about them as this is a single party situation. And the situation simply happens to poke fun at my fear of being truly unlovable.

And I hope to stop hoping for anything I am simply not capable to being.

It's about all the hope and thoughts I dedicate towards the wish of being loved or even simply liked back and for it to almost be dedicated to be torn into shreds from the very beginnig. Every single time I fight with myself that none of this is because of me and none of this is personal and yet it seems as though everything else is pointing towards me and my flaws exactly.

This is a pretty hard one since I subconsciously draw inspo from different sources

My art and writings are pretting intertwined, so I'll include my drawing and writing inspo (sorry)

@yosb - Been following since I was like, 10? 11? Absolutely amazing artist, (I remember staring at their Hetalia fanart for hours and trying to draw like them xD) their achievements in the past and the current projects that they do are also so inspiring. She's one of my biggest inspirations into why I'm considering a career in art with law.

@kisamesopelagic - Another artist I've been following since I was a wee lad- There's just something about how they wrote the characters that really drew me in, along with character dynamics. I eat up their comics every time.

Uhhhh my current fandom inspirations rn are

@mentoskova - Their illustrations are super cool,I take lot of inspo from how they draw gear. They really make me want to improve.

@cerosin - Fr changed my brain chemistry when it came to writing. Like their headcanons are so well thought out that it motivated me into researching more about the content im drawing and writing about. Plus their lineart is yummy (I recognized them from their KapGlaz art from a few years back so running into them again was super cool)
