Appearance: Diaspore is a tall gem with a light yellow coloration with yellow eyes. They wear the standard uniform with a black shirt, tie, and heels. They wear a white belt and undershirt with a yellow belt buckle. When it turns summer, they change to the summer uniform.

Diaspore has long yellow hair that reaches to their thighs in large spikes. When hit in different light, they take on an light orange appearance.

Personality: Diaspore is a bit of an anxious, shy, and introverted gem. They only open up to those they are super close with such as Amatrine, but even then, Diaspore worries they annoy Amatrine.

Diaspore shows some hints of clumsiness and usually drops things on accident or even break themselves.

When on the battlefield, Diaspore shows amazing prowess at battle and even strategies while on the field, which is when Amatrine really appreciates Diaspores keen observations.

History: Diaspore was created before Rubellite's own creation, and had stayed active to meet Rubellite. They were partnered up with Ametrine.

In Houseki no Kuni / Land of the Lustrous Canon: Diaspore would eventually be shattered before Phos's time. Afterwards they would become Lunarian and be prayed away.

Could gemlings be "hybrid" gem types like amatrine, (amauhyst + citrine) azuremalachite(azurite +malachite) or crysoberyl (crysoprase + beryl)

Well, yes and no!  

Amethysts and Citrines fuse into Ametrine, so they’d make an Ametrine gemling.  Same goes for Azuremalachite.

But that’s not how it works for Chrysoprase and Beryl... They don’t even make Chrysoberyl so I’m ruling that out.
