oh that post you made a while back about using decepticon pussy as a water bottle got me thinking so hard
so like, imagine a con who gets captured and they're expecting the usual; torture, imprisonment in a cell, the normal deal when one gets put into custody by the other side. they've heard stories about the autobots being a bit kinky than what most cons would have thought, but this bot for sure isn't expecting to be strung up in the mess hall, an energon dispenser routed through their systems and just sort of left there, like some weird decoration
i'm thinking of one of those water bottles you use to feed like a hamster just sticking out of their valve for the autobots to use whenever they need to refuel. hell maybe they've even got tiddies and one of the medics rerouted a few of their internal fuel lines to get them up and running, so now bots have a choice between the valve spout or energon straight from the tit
ough i'm thinking about a prewar high class party where some poor gutter mech (maybe drift~) spread eagle on a table, with little treats and snacks spread all across their frame and they just have to sit there, not moving as they're basically treated as just a piece of furniture. maybe the person who hired (or captured depending on how dubcon you wanna make this situation) the newly serving bot has used really pretty chains, covered in engraved flowers and crystal clusters to decorate their new platter and maybe they've even forced the mech's panels open, with a little container of sauce shoved in there for extra flavour
this is less like a food kink and more of a kink for being strung up and ignored, a mech being treated as nothing more than a piece of furniture for others to ignore
-burnt ice anon
Hello anon. this is a direct bullseye to my kinks. are you perhaps a mind reader
Hnggg I'm imagining they take the energon dispensary and route a fuel line to the top of the cons valve, and then seal his slit shut around a spigot... that way the autobots can have their plain rations flavored with his yummy lubricant
Of course his node and spike are uncovered, the autobots play with them to get sweeter fuel before they open the tap and release some of the pressure in the poor 'con's valve... an autobot that likes their fuel as sweet as possible, rubbing his node until he overloads, so they can get the most lubricant in their fuel...
A medic got the code to get his refineries up and running, now theyre sore and overful, hanging heavy down his chest... 'bots will squeeze one of his tits to squirt some frothy, milky refined energon into a cube, but some skip that and suck straight from his nozzles instead...
Also I love imagining cybertronian noblemechs doing kinky fucked up shit... I will gladly jump at the opportunity to put Drift in that scenario.
Completely stripped of his nasty dirty armor, bound flat to the table with nothing but jewelry and treats to hide his protoform... I love imagining stuffing his valve with food, yeah. Maybe there's a little tray of rust sticks next to him, and you can either swirl it in his valve or gently dip it into his drooling transfluid slit...
Maybe it's a party game to have a "serving platter" with an array coated in candy, the goal of the game to see who can lick it clean without making a mess by letting the platter overload...

♡ Slashers as drinks ♡
Michael Myers — Water
• Firstly, it is good for the body (Michael can also be useful, yes)
• Secondly, if you replace many harmful drinks with water, your life will become much better. Well, if you spend more time with Michael, your life will get a little better (hey, he will kill all the people who somehow offend you, he will save your life from "bad drinks")
• Water is so delicious when you don't drink for several hours in a row. Seriously. Especially after some training. And so you come home after a long day, and you are greeted by this miracle (yeah, very friendly, especially with his emotionality) and you spend the whole evening together. Cute.
• Just, if you love Michael (I do), drink more water. And you will support Michael, and your body will thank you :)
Jason Voorhees — Morse
• It's sweet.
• It's delicious.
• This is useful, especially if it is at home.
• Well, just look at this adorable bun, it's impossible not to love it! It is so sweet and refreshing, like a delicious fruit drink made from fresh summer berries! It's like I'm back at camp again.
Bubba Sawyer — Cocoa with marshmallow
• Brighten up any of your cold evening with his warm, pleasant company.
• You, him and a warm blanket on the sofa in front of the fireplace, what could be better?
• This man has the most tremulous and loving hugs. His big plush body is literally created for pleasant, gentle hugs. And take another ginger cookie for both of you, and it will be the best evening of your lives.
• Cocoa will help you relax after a long chase after victims and dragging a heavy chainsaw. Bubba's tense body begs for such a pleasant rest.
Thomas Hewitt — Hot chocolate
• Like hot chocolate, it is very sweet and pleasant. Warms the throat and soul and all that.
• God, have you seen this divine man? I'm ready to kiss it all, it's the sweetest chocolate in the world.
• Lyude-Mae, thank you for raising such an incredible boy.
• Chocolate improves brain function and increases dopamine levels in the brain, isn't that a sign? In addition, the touch of another person produces dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin, which lift the mood and increase resistance to stress. Hugs?
Stu Matcher/Billy Loomis — Vodka
• Can I not comment on this..?
Vincent Sinclair — Milkshake (your favorite flavor)
• Oh, yes.
• Milkshake is especially good in the heat. A little cream, your favorite ice cream and some fresh berries (you can do without them) and voila, it turns out such a yummy.
• You can freeze and get ice cream. Multifunctional boy.
• If you start drinking, the cocktail ends in an instant, and then you want more and more... This boy is addictive.
• But he's so sweet...
Bo Sinclair — Pomegranate juice
• I just don't like pomegranate juice. But it's useful. Bo, what's the use of you? (Sorry if you like him)
Lester Sinclair — Mineral water
• Simple and tasteful.
• Lester is really like a mineral water. In a difficult moment, he will always offer his friendly shoulder so that you can lean on or cry.
• The best thing you'll find with a hangover...
• Quenches thirst better than sweet soda.
• If you add syrup to it, you will get a sweet fruit lemonade. This boy will help in all cases of life.
Pyramid head - Green tea
• Many people don't like it (for example, my dad), but if you try this divine drink, you won't be able to drink something else.
• Pyra is truly a gift to the universe!
• Improves well-being, skin condition, accelerates metabolism, improves mood and the name system... I can go on for a long time.
• Delicious both hot and cold (But the Pyramid head one is always hot as Hell...)
• This man is addictive.
John Kramer — Lemonade
• Simple and tasteful.
• You won't find a better alternative for the holidays.
• It's delicious. It's beautiful. This is always relevant. Eternal classics.
• With what other drink do you get to know the essence of this life?
• Chilled lemonade with ice cubes and mint...
Amanda Young — Red wine
• Oh, this baby is the best.
• Improves sleep. Any time spent with this goddess is fine, but sleep is especially good. Next to Amanda, you will only have sweet, pleasant dreams! Maybe even smut... I assure you, sleeping with her is a pleasure.
• Useful for pressure. If Amanda is around, your heart starts beating wildly in a chaotic dance, and the blood rises to your pale cheeks until this moment. Now you don't look so tired, right?
• Hugs and kisses with this gorgeous woman are like Paradise, so it's quite possible to say that she herself tastes like good wine.
Mark Hoffman — Black coffee
• He took my heart.
• No sugar is needed to taste this man.
• At first it seems bitter and nasty, but... Hey, pour me another cup, please?
• It's fucking addictive, and after a while you just won't be able to drink coffee with sugar.
• Where to sign to sell your soul to the Devil? I just want to drink this coffee forever (and have Hoffman forever, ahem)
• As black as his soul.
• Bitter, but delicious in its own way and damn sweet.
• For connoisseurs of true art and something truly beautiful.
Brahms Heelshire — Milk
• Baby Brahmsey.
• Helps you fall asleep. This man will ask for a bedtime story and a kiss before going to bed... And then he will throw you on the bed and ask you to fall asleep with him.
• You know, it's good for the throat if you're sick.
• Milk reminds of childhood ...
• Sometimes milk is nasty and Brahms too. If your mood is more towards tea than coffee, drink tea. Brahms will get mad and calm down. And after that there will be time for hugs.
Hannibal Lecter — Cognac
• This man is good.
• After his appearance in my life, I decided to connect my life with psychology and helping others (and after Kramer's appearance, of course).
• Always good. Especially if you are some kind of boss or a serious person, you should have cognac. In the movies, it looks like a success.
• This man understands exquisite things and looks so great all the time... Really cognac, there is no other way.
• Will support you on a lonely night and cheer you up when you meet some of your friend.
Will Graham — Black tea with milk/cream
• This is... Cute?
• My cousin had a grandmother, she always made me such tea. It evokes a feeling of nostalgia and comfort, as if I am back in childhood.
• This is the most comfortable character for me! So warm, sweet, sweet and pleasant ...
• It's unusual, especially if you try it for the first time, but it's delicious, I assure you.
• A combination of classic harsh tea and something soft and kind from childhood, Will is really the best.
• I want to get to know Will by sight. I want to hug him. I want to be him, okay?

I fucking hate the YouTube algorithm why does it show me so many shorts of the most yummy looking cakes ever.
Probably cause I watch them all but like that’s so rude YouTube algorithm I don’t want to eat cake I don’t even like cake but like it looks so pretty
On an unrelated note, I want to buy a cute ice tray so the ice cubes can be in the shapes of hearts cause I’ve seen like a million really cute things on Pinterest where it’ll be like strawberry milk with heart ice cubes and I’m not questioning why they’re putting ice in milk
Also I saw this weird looking pasta?? Like why is it purple. Why is the pasta purple. Also it looked like glass. I want to eat it but like how the fuck do I make it I’m so puzzled by humanity and it’s need for clear purple pasta or whatever.
Also I want a strawberry right now

how will frozen fruit change my life? i have a few bags in my freezer getting freezer burnt
they are so good in smoothies or to snack on and also u can bake with them🙂‍↕️🙏 i think they're also nice to add to breakfast like in oatmeal or pancakes or whatever. basically use them any way you'd use fresh fruit but frozen keeps for so much longer! but seriously using frozen fruit for smoothies is so good bc the fruit is already frozen so you don't have to add ice cubes so the smoothie is actually smooth and not icy or watery 🤸‍♀️💖 oh you can also totally make a jam w it too! the other day i watched a video of a girl who made "trash jam" with all the frozen fruit that's been in her freezer for a long time and it turned out really yummy she said

daddy’s ‘on a budget’ iced coffee recipe | ☕️ 🥛
─•~❉᯽❉~•─
now if you love iced coffee, you might enjoy my daddy’s recipe of ‘on a budget ice coffee’ it’s a very fun thing to make on a weekend when you have time <3 try it out and let me know what you think!
─•~❉᯽❉~•─
gather your ice 🧊: now we don’t have an ice machine in our flat, we also don’t have small cute ice cubes- we have the standard ones you freeze yourself on those trays that 100% spill every time you pop them in, hehe! <3.
break said ice 🧊: this is fun if you have some anger you wish to get out. you simply wrap the ice in a tea-towel and bash it with a rolling pin until it breaks up. now, it is very loud so if you can’t deal with loud sounds i’d advise buying small ice cubes, we would if we had space in our freezer :3.
make your coffee ☕️: in a spare glass make a plain coffee- just the powder and water and let it sit patiently whilst you carry on.
blending: in a clean blender pop in your coffee, milk, vanilla ice cream for sweetness and your ice & blend away. this bit is also a little noise so i’d advise headphones :3.
syrup: in a clean drinking cup, pour in any syrup or sugar you have in your home - i use maple syrup as it’s very sweet n yummy and we always have it in for pancakes. i also try to make funny n cute patterns :3
pour n enjoy: pour then blended mixture into the cup, pop in a straw and tadaa! sweet n yummy coffeee :3 i hope you all enjoy!

My favorite summer drink is fruit tea but cold hehe
I brew about a liter of yummy fruit tea, let it cool down and then put it in the fridge. some of it I fill up into a ice tray, to make icecubes out of it. When I am thirsty, I get some tea & ice-tea cubes and put it in a (zippy) cup.
The tea won't loose any of the flavor/ get watered down and it's without any sugar!! (Though you can put sugar if you want to, I like it better without.)
And yes, you can also brew your tea in cold water, it'll even taste "more smooth" and less bitter that way, but it will take several hours to completely extract, so hot brewing is faster.
Oh and please don't put your still hot tea into the freezer or fridge, doing that can damage the appliances.

I'm about to try making my own bubble tea 🧋 from scratch.
(I would like everyone to acknowledge that this is @staykimchay's fault. If you haven't yet, go read the insanely good "my bubble tea brings all the boys to the yard". And then all her other insanely good stories.)
I couldn't find any tapioca starch in stores so I ordered it on Amazon. (Went with "Cock brand" because it makes me laugh.)
Tumblr media
That's a 400g bag so it should get me through 4 attempts if this goes horribly wrong. The recipe looks simple so I should be fine 😸
Ingredients:
100g tapioca starch
50g brown sugar
80ml water 💧
Tumblr media
Let's go! 💪🏻
Just water and brown sugar but it looks yummy 🤤
Tumblr media
1st attempt is going in the trash 😅
Started with not enough water (dough was too crumbly) then added too much (too sticky, half of it stayed on my hands when I started kneading it) and it was all lumpy 😿
Tumblr media
It's also likely that the heat instructions aren't good for the type of stovetop I'm using. So I'm going to adjust that on the next try too.
The 2nd attempt looks (and feels) a lot better so I'm going to go ahead with the next steps. I used barely a 3rd of the tapioca in it though… we'll have to see what happens.
Tumblr media
My haul:
Tumblr media
Some notes:
The recipe asks for 80ml of water in the ingredients but 30ml in the cooking steps. One of these is not like the others 😆. Given what happened to both of my attempts I'm going to say 80ml is the right one. (I used about 50ml in the second but not all the tapioca.)
Making a lot at one time is not a good idea. The dough becomes increasingly harder to shape as it cools down. Some of my tapioca pearls are not pearl shaped at all 😆.
I used maybe 60/70g of tapioca for the dough but used a lot while shaping the pearls to make sure it didn't stick so I had about 15g left.
Alright, the pearls are cooked and taking a brown sugar syrup bath for added flavor. (Note: don't forget the ice bath between cooking and flavoring or the pearls stick together.)
Tumblr media
While that's going on, I'll prepare the tea 🍵.
I'm going to test one with Green Sencha tea 🍵 and one with Earl Grey tea ☕. I'm letting them both steep for a while because I want a strong tea flavor.
Tumblr media
I'm going to let the green tea and half the pearls cool down to drink cold later.
The Earl Grey is getting the other half of the pearls and some (warmed) milk to drink now.
Tumblr media
I need to adjust the water/milk ratio but otherwise it's a success 🎉
...
Further notes:
It's a lot of work for 2 servings of bubble tea. I need to see if the uncooked pearls can be frozen (or conserved in some way) for later use.
It's really nice to sit down and write this post from my "in-action" notes with a cup of bubble tea in hand.
EDIT:
It's "later" 😁
Tumblr media
The green tea has taken a lovely brown color from the tapioca pearls. I added about a teaspoon worth of honey to sweeten it and some ice cubes to make it really refreshing.
Overall, I'm quite happy with the results for a 1st try ☺️

Onward Fan Art Shout Out - 14
Theme: Desserts! 🍰 🧁 🍪
It might not seem like it at first glance but even desserts can be art too!
Just about once every week or so when I look in the Onward tag on instagram there's usually a post in the mix that contains one or more of the following: frosting, sugar, chocolate, icing, candy...you name it!
But there are two other important things I see in those posts as well, and that is—talent and Onward!
Not only are the desserts I find so amazing (like for real some of them I could never make myself! they're so extreme!), but the thought, time, and dedication to make each of them in the first place shows me that Onward is not invisible and very much appreciated, that all these people who make desserts see how special it is! and actually choose to highlight what stood out about it to them!
So Quest Masters...let's give a hand and credit to all of these chefs and bakers, for crafting all this Onward culinary art!
and if any of us want an Onward-themed birthday sometime or dessert ideas for a future Onward anniversary or a potential fandom in-person get-together, hopefully these choices serve as great inspiration!
(also gonna sneak in this chef emoji—👩🏻‍🍳—next to any desserts that come with a tutorial on how to make it!)

Artists
titeyscake - this whole cake looks absolutely lovely! a very nice drawing of Ian and Barley! love the sparkly blue night sky aesthetic behind them and around the cake! and the 3D-ness of the wizard staff!
emmalou_cakes - this is one of those cakes where I wonder why you would want to eat it in the first place! like this is a pure sculpture! everything about this cake is so amazingly detailed and clean, especially guinevere! and the placement of the bros? awesome job!
cookingandcraftchick - the editable gelatinous cube! which I believe won't disintegrate your mouth, throat, stomach, or digestive system if you eat it lol, but ngl this would make a great Onward themed party snack because it speaks Onward specifically and a thrilling scene that was in it! 👩🏻‍🍳
sugar.by.jeanette - ok but to recreate Wilden's bottom half like this definitely takes a lot of time and effort! like this isn't your typical round or square cake! this cake has a lot of different parts to it to bake and put together! it blows me away!
macarons_by_agatha - fact: I love a good macaron every once in a while. and the purpley pink and blue color shades of these onward macarons are positively gorgeous! also the added shapes and images on them are very adorable too!
pnw_neen - it would be just a crime not to include cupcakes in this post! so here they are! it honestly might be the lighting but I love the sparkling and glittering effect the frosting of these cupcakes are giving off! it speaks magic! also it's blue you can't go wrong with that!
kooky.crumbsandcrafts - wow lots of 3 year old birthday desserts on this post apparently! yay for 3 year olds!! thank you for loving onward! it means so much! anyway...ahhhhh! these are beautifully colored and beautifully drawn cookies! and it's done repeatedly too! the re-drawing on each cookie is very nicely done!
cherrycakeco - okay...this recreation of the Lightfoot house is undeniably AMAZING, like this cake artist nailed down lots of great detail from Ian's window to the mushroom roof to even their yard! I wanna say you could easily confuse this as an actual 3D model! that's how remarkably real it looks! 👩🏻‍🍳
graysons.mom.makes.cakes - not to be confused with the pretzel wizard staff with the strawberry phoenix gem, this is a chocolate and buttercream cake with glass candy! the detail on the staff is amazing and the glass candy makes a really great gem texture!
kyscakes3 - the curse dragon!! they put the freakin CURSE DRAGON on this cake! the design and placement of it around the circular surface is so well done! and the colorful gems provide such a nice touch too! oh and the frosting looks absolutely yummy!

Creative ways to feed your furry friends
Imagine, It’s heavily raining in the evening, and your beloved cat, Frida, is trembling in dread as the rain falls and the thunderclaps become louder. Or Maybe it's the dreaded trip to the vet, a necessary but stressful process. You've done everything to calm your nervous pet, but nothing works. Until now, that is. Pet owners and their stressed-out four-legged pals can find solace with Bark Out Loud's Calming & Anti-Anxiety Supplement.
Anxiety is more common in pets than you would believe. Like humans, they may become nervous for various reasons, including separation, unusual environment, loud noises, etc. However, nervousness should not prevent your pet from living their best life. That's where Bark Out Loud's all-natural, chicken-flavoured anti-anxiety supplement comes in, providing a tasty and novel approach to providing comfort to your pet.
Let's explore some creative methods that make feeding anti-anxiety supplements a joyous experience, both for you and your pet.
Chicken-Flavoured Euphoria
The Calming & Anti-Anxiety pills from Bark Out Loud have a delicious chicken flavour that most dogs find tempting. This makes it easy to administer because most dogs and cats are unlikely to know that they've been given a supplement. Mix the powder into their meal, then watch them lick their bowls clean, tails wagging in a state of joy.
The Peanut Butter Trick
Peanut butter is a popular dog treat that may also be used as a cover for drugs. Simply spread a tiny quantity of peanut butter on a spoon, cover it with the supplement, and give it to your pet. They'll be so caught up with the sweet surprise that they won't see the supplement submerged within.
Yummy Yoghurt
Yoghurt is another popular pet food. You may make a creamy and delightful treat by combining Bark Out Loud's anti-anxiety pill with plain yoghurt. It's a great way to make sure your dog’s get their medication on time.
Cheese Please!
Another mouth-watering alternative for concealing the taste of the supplement is cheese. Make little chunks of cheese, insert the pill, and give it to your pet. The joy of cheese will get past any hesitation about taking the supplement.
Freeze It!
For a unique flavour, you can try frozen sweets as well. Combine the supplement with water or low-sodium broth, then freeze it in ice cube trays. Your pet will have a blast licking the frozen delights, completely oblivious to the anti-anxiety magic contained within.
Making a Relaxing Cookie
Baking handmade pet-friendly cookies with the supplement added in is a fun way to get innovative in the kitchen. There are several dog and cat treat recipes that may be customised to incorporate this unique ingredient.
Hiding in Toys
For added fun and mental stimulation, consider using interactive toys designed to hide treats. Place the supplement inside, and your pet will work to get the pill out while being entertained.
Tuna Surprise
Cats adore tuna. Mix the supplement with a tiny amount of tuna juice and feed it to your cat. It's a perfect way to make sure they take their anti-anxiety medication.
Bark Out Loud's Calming & Anti-Anxiety Supplement is a great choice for pets who have symptoms of anxiety. While the supplement is quite helpful, it is also essential that your pets like taking it. You may make the procedure easier by using the inventive and engaging approaches we've covered. Whether you use chicken-flavoured powder, peanut butter, yoghurt, cheese, baby food, frozen treats, handmade cookies, pill pockets, concealing toys, or the ever-tempting tuna, your pet will benefit from this all-natural approach without complaint.
Remember, a calm and happy pet is a healthier pet, and Bark Out Loud's supplement can help with that. So, don't put it off any longer; try these delightful alternatives to help your beloved buddy enjoy their best, anxiety-free life. Your pet's pleasure is just a tasty treat away!

Since you run a teahouse of sorts, what's your favorite tea? And also, what's your favorite way to take it? Do you prefer it hot or iced, or somewhere in between? For me, I prefer it hot, and I sorta prefer stronger teas like black teas. I like a strong, hot citrus black tea and then add some honey. Eat it with stroopwaffels or butter cookies or wafers, and it's an excellent break.
ohhhh i'm the opposite - i lovelovelove flower and fruit teas!!! osmanthus, rose, jasmine, strawberry, and peach tea are my top picks. light and floral/fruity notes will get an instant like for me heheh
i take them hot at night (because i'll usually be indoors and i find it relaxing) and iced in the afternoons (because hot weather). lukewarm tea is.... a big no for me hahahah which is why i have stainless steel ice cubes + insulated thermos for my iced teas and a tea warmer for my hot teas!!
i don't usually eat anything with my tea now that i think about it... and i've never tried stroopwafels, but oooh they look yummy!!

The Awesome Vibes of Fresh Lemons: From Yummy Eats to Feeling Good
Tumblr media
Hey there, foodies! Let's dive into the wonderful world of fresh lemons  - those bright, citrusy gems that bring a burst of awesomeness to everything they touch. Whether you're jazzing up your grub or giving your body a high-five with some health benefits, fresh lemons are the way to go. In this laid-back article, we'll chat about how these tangy wonders rock the culinary scene, give your well-being a thumbs-up, and even add a little zing to non-food stuff.
Culinary Adventures
Lemons aren't just little yellow balls of flavor – they're like culinary superheroes! Toss some lemon juice into your salad dressing and bam! Instantly upgraded. Marinades? Oh yeah, lemons can tenderize meats like it's no big deal. Don't even get me started on lemon-infused cocktails, desserts, and just about anything you want to turn into a flavor fiesta.
Sour- sure, but nutritious too
Lemons are more than just taste bud titillators. They're chock-full of vitamin C, which basically gives your immune system a friendly nudge. Want skin that's all like, "Look at me, I'm glowing!"? Vitamin C is your secret weapon. And guess what? Lemons also have potassium, a cool cat that helps your heart and body fluids do their thing.
Hydration and That Detox Buzz
Okay, here's the deal: starting your day with a warm mug of lemon water? It's like your body's morning dance party. It gets your metabolism grooving, helps flush out the bad stuff, and keeps your pH levels from going haywire. Plus, lemons have a ton of water, so sipping on lemon-infused agua is like giving your body a sip of sunshine.
The Flavour Manager
Lemons aren't just for fancy pants chefs – they're for anyone who wants their food to taste awesome. Grate that lemon peel (not your fingers, mind you) for a pop of flavor in dishes. Squeeze some lemon juice on fish or veggies for a taste explosion. And don't even get me started on how lemony desserts can make your taste buds do the happy dance.
A Long Lasting Ingredient
Lemons are like the party guests you wish could stick around forever. When life hands you too many lemons, dry that zest or freeze the juice in ice cube trays. That way, when winter hits and lemons are hibernating, you can still bring that sunny flavor to your eats.
Beyond the Kitchen Counter
Lemons aren't just MVPs in the kitchen. Mix lemon juice with water for a natural cleaner that's got some serious punch. And if you're into that essential oil jazz, lemon oil can be your go-to for perking up your mood – it's like a bottled burst of sunshine.
So, there you have it.  Fresh lemons aren't just tangy troublemakers for your taste buds – they're your partners in culinary crime and well-being wonders. From adding oomph to your recipes to giving you a health high-five, lemons are the real deal. So next time you grab a handful of these sunny buddies, remember you're not just adding flavor – you're adding a splash of awesome to your life.

What Recipe Uses Condensed Milk
Tumblr media
Hey there! I'm so excited to share some delicious recipes that use condensed milk. Condensed milk is a rich and creamy dairy product, often used in baking. It adds a lovely sweetness to desserts like cakes and cheesecakes, as well as savory dishes like curries or casseroles. In this article, you'll find some amazing recipes that make the most of this versatile ingredient. So let's get cooking! Ice Cream Cake I love making desserts with condensed milk. It adds a richness and sweetness to recipes that can't be found elsewhere! One of my favorite ways to use this ingredient is for an ice cream cake. This delicious dessert combines the indulgence of homemade ice cream with the classic taste of pound cake. To make it, you'll need a frozen pound cake, softened vanilla ice cream, freshly chopped fruit (such as strawberries or bananas), and sweetened condensed milk. To begin, cut the frozen pound cake into thin slices. Arrange each slice in a 9x13 inch pan so they cover the entire bottom surface area. Then spread some softened vanilla ice cream over the top and sprinkle on your fresh fruit pieces. Finally, pour sweetened condensed milk over everything until evenly coated. Place back in the freezer for at least four hours before serving your delectable creation! This ice cream cake makes an excellent dessert for any summer gathering or family get-together – just add whipped topping and sprinkles if desired! You can also turn it into a fun twist on a traditional fruit trifle by layering pound cake cubes, flavored pudding mix, fruits, and finally pouring on sweetened condensed milk - yum! Or try using store-bought waffle cones instead of sliced pound cake for an easy yet tasty ice cream sundae. No matter how you serve it up, your guests will love this creamy treat made with everyone's favorite secret ingredient: condensed milk! Caramel Flan I have the perfect recipe for you - Caramel Flan! It's an easy-to-make dessert that is sure to be a hit with your family and friends. This creamy, custard-like flan uses condensed milk as its base, making it deliciously sweet and rich. Plus, it has just the right amount of caramel flavor to really take this indulgent treat up a notch. To start off, make the stove top custard first by combining egg yolks and sugar in a bowl and mixing until light and fluffy. Then add evaporated milk, white rice pudding mix, vanilla extract, and condensed milk together in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until everything comes together into a thick mixture; then pour it into individual ramekins or baking dishes lined with parchment paper. Bake the flans at 350°F for about 25 minutes or until golden brown on top. Let cool before topping with caramel syrup or dulce de leche - whichever you prefer! Serve chilled and enjoy every spoonful of this decadent treat! Coconut Macaroons I was just talking about Caramel Flan, but now let’s move on to Coconut Macaroons. These bite-sized treats are a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling too guilty afterwards! The main ingredients for these delicious macaroons are condensed milk and shredded coconut. You can also add some dulce de leche or chocolate chips if you want an extra kick of flavor. These yummy desserts are incredibly easy to make – all you have to do is mix the ingredients together, shape them into small balls, and bake until golden brown. Plus, they last for days in an airtight container so you can enjoy them whenever the craving strikes! If you're looking for something more filling than macaroons, why not try making banana bread with condensed milk? This classic dessert is sure to be a hit with both kids and adults alike. If you're still unsure what recipe to use your condensed milk on, I suggest giving one of these two recipes a go - you won't regret it! With its creamy sweetness, crunchy texture and heavenly aroma, either one will surely become a firm favorite of yours! Coconut Pecan Pie I'm sure you're aware of the classic pecan pie, but have you ever had a Coconut Pecan Pie? It's an absolute delight! This decadent dessert combines two fan favorites: coconut and pecans. To make it even better, this recipe uses condensed milk to give it that extra flavor kick. The first step is making your homemade crusts. For this particular recipe, I like to use graham crackers crumbs for that added crunchiness. Then in a separate bowl, combine the ingredients such as melted butter and brown sugar for a delicious concoction that will be spread on top of the crusts. To complete this amazing treat, layer banana topping with sweetened coconut flakes and chopped up pecans before pouring in the yummy mixture made with condensed milk previously mentioned. Bake in oven at 350°F until golden-brown and voila - you'll have yourself one delectable Coconut Pecan Pie! Enjoy every last bite of its heavenly taste that brings together multiple flavors into one delightful dish. Cheesecake Squares Moving on from the delicious Coconut Pecan Pie, let's explore a delectable alternative: Cheesecake Squares. This simple recipe uses condensed milk to create a creamy texture and distinctive flavor that will have everyone coming back for seconds! To make these delightful squares, you'll need cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, butter and of course, sweetened condensed milk. Cream together the cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy before adding in the remaining ingredients one at a time. Pour into an eight-inch square baking dish lined with parchment paper and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Once cooled completely cut into small squares for serving. For extra flair when presenting your cheesecake squares be sure to top them off with some fresh fruit or chocolate shavings; this adds color as well as sweetness to each bite! Serve chilled either on their own or alongside something tart like lemon curd - guests are sure to love it! 大家好! 'Undressing' fish: I did it when SW and I had beer battered barramundi and chips for our set lunch mains. The pumpkin soup was nice, our shared side of mashed potato with truffle oil and mushroom gravy was yummy; as for the fish... erm, it looked ok when our mains were served, but 1 bite and the chow yow yik (stench of too much grease) was overpowering! I cut it open, dug out the flesh and left the outer flour coating behind. If I must have a heavy meal (and that's coming right up), I want to fully enjoy the experience.

It was only in recent weeks that I found out TL loves xiao long bao (soup dumplings) as much as I do. We got talking about them, developed a craving for them and decided on a whim that we'd have a meal and eat nothing but xiao long bao. At the dimsum restaurant, there were 3 options: original flavour xiao long bao (6 or 10 dumplings per serving); multiple flavours (8 dumplings); and individual servings of different flavoured xiao long bao (6 or 10 dumplings). We each ate 1 of option 2 and shared option 1. They were divine!

JL, MS and I explored the food court at MBS, where I ordered mackerel and spinach soup with rice. We also introduced MS to the place which serves tom yum yu tang (fish soup) the next day. This time we chose clear broth and blanched fish slices instead of fried fish to go with rice (for MS and me) or noodles (for JL). Succulent fish, silky smooth tofu cubes, plenty of veggies and flavourful broth - a great combo of filling, delicious and nutritious. Yu tang is a popular option locals turn to for a moderately healthy meal and food stalls keep it interesting with their variations of the dish.

Since there was time after our meals, MS joined JL and I on our stroll to help with digestion. We circled the office building twice before heading for local coffee. Taking slow walks after eating is becoming a routine for JL and me. She tries to eat more healthily when we're together and chooses qing dishes over oily ones. I ate qing over the weekend too - steamed fish, egg tofu with diced veggies and stirfried mixed veggies with zhou (porridge) as well as iced local coffee.
