Ask game: Momo Yaoyorozu is Hana Shimura, pretending to be much younger than she actually is as a hero student.
1- well i guess shes VERY good at pretending to be younger than she is. She's been doing it for years, ever since she was found by a young heir concerned by the crying dirty child near his limo. waving off his chauffeur he asked what was going on. The little girl replied her whole family was dead and her brother turned them all to dust. the heir was like "oh, dear. Jeeves, call the police and heroes for help" and looked around for a handkerchief. he didn't have one, and Hana made one, sniffling. The rich heir told Jeeves to cancel the phone call, and ushers Hana into the car. Then he calls his wife, "darling, you said you wanted a baby? i found a very sweet one! I fear her family may have been killed by quirk traffickers, but she really does look so much like your sister i think we can arrange something"
2- somehow mrs yaoyorozu is a flavor of unhinged that compliments her husband very well so she is delighted to have a suprise new daughter, and just a doll of one too. Hana doesnt really want to use her quirk, so she doesnt, and doesnt want to talk, so she doesnt. her new parents aren't sure what her name is, but when they suggested options "momo" she seemed to like it more than other options. Momo actually kept claiming a younger age because she didn't want to go to school, but inevitably her new parents caught on and are quie sure she's old enough for school.
3- She doesnt make many friends, given she's traumatized and also older than her classmates even if she doesnt say it. but the years pass, and life becomes somewhat normal for her. She wants to be a hero, and gets into UA
4. Nedzu absolutely knows something is up about her but isnt sure what, and so is currently just waiting and watching paitiently.
5. Momo is in a different section at USJ and so doesnt see Shigaraki, but she does hear about his quirk from classmates afterwards, and it shakes her. But then she's too far from hosu, at the mall, at the camp- and she cant take it anymore. So when the Rescue Squad asks her to help track the nomu and lov, she already knows shes going to do it. She's already decided she needs to look herself, to find out more about Shigaraki.

He saw the golden medal with a long chain in his daughter Juliet’s possession. The unmistakable Agnus Dei. He was amazed, all this time, the little girl hadn’t lost it, as little girls easily lost things. Without thinking, he scooped it, putting it into his pocket.
His daughter Juliet ran across the lawn, no shoes on her little feet. She was terribly and rightfully upset. “Papa, no please. Don’t leave!” She cried, running and grabbing a hold of his arm. “Papa! Please don’t go!”
This hurt John so much. “I’ll come back and see you again, my daughter. I promise, I promise.”
In truth, he didn’t know if he will ever see her again.
Later, the divorce was done... and John travelled back to California as fast as possible. He wanted to be with Heaven again, he missed the petite redhead terribly. And he wanted to leave everything that had to do with the South behind him. If one travelled back to early 1865, told him he was going to do this, he would have scoffed at them, and would have declared, “All my love is for everything of the South!”
June 10th, 1870, Santa Rosa, California
Heaven and Hana received great news; the Royal Aeworan Army had won the latest battle. Heaven’s letters to the General may have helped the Aeworans, and because of this she felt pride more than she had ever felt it. She hadn’t given up on her beloved General and Army. She was also proud of her royal grandparents. Her king grandfather was doing what a king should be doing in war. Heaven could not forget his aquamarine eyes. And her queen grandmother impressed her, and also worried her. The queen was not throwing parties at the Castle like the First Ladies of the North and South in the American Civil War had done at their White Houses, but she was helping wounded soldiers and rallying the Army. Her queen grandmother, who still looked youthful, with her doll-like grey eyes, sun-loved melanin and extraordinarily long dark hair with no signs of greying yet. The queen had her followers, as well as enemies, writing romantic poems and songs about her. The queen was intelligent, charming, at least when she needs to be, headstrong, and only 4’7 in height, but she could still gracefully ride a horse and defend herself with a sword. She received a reputation as “the stern little Aeworan eagle,” who wanted to grab ahold of the “snake” (a metaphor for the enemy empire) and throw it out. She was everything her king grandfather had wished for in a wife.
There seemed to be a new heavenly light looking upon the kingdom...
There was again a knock at the door, and it was Heaven, not Hana, that opened it. It was John Singer, no longer a married man. Heaven unexpectedly and boldly hugged him, she was too much in a great mood to be angered at anything. Hana monitored them, as she was still wary of the man. She sensed something in him, and she believed he was absolutely hiding a lot of more secrets in him. She was very much like an older sister watching over her little sister, wanting to protect Heaven from anything that would hurt her in any way.
“Heaven, my dear!” John laughed, hugging her back. He was not expecting this.
“My heart is singing today, I have no time for any resentment.” Heaven exclaimed.
“That’s good, my dear, would now be an acceptable time to tell you something important?” John asked.
Heaven nodded. “Nothing can throw me back onto the ground!”
John motioned to the old, wooden chairs. “Come sit down with me.”
Heaven followed the man, wondering what words will come out of his mouth. The pair sat down.
“I am now divorced, Heaven. I can now be with you without shame. Although I felt no shame being with you before all this.”
He thought he’d found his true love, his soul mate. Emma. He went as far as marrying and having a child with her. But she wasn’t the one.. she was merely one of the previous, countless women he had been with, and the mother of his child. That was all to it now. Heaven was the real one, his real love, his real soul mate.
Heaven was pleased with the news. She did not know what to say, but she smiled. She had forgiven him already, she was always forgiving, wanting to be like her kind and loving king grandfather. Hana raised her eyebrow.
John gently put his finger under Heaven’s chin, and she closed her enticing doll-like amber eyes. John slowly brought his lips against hers. Many of John’s kisses was always as heavenly as the memorable first kiss. Heaven would never forget it. She returned the kiss with the same gentleness.
As they finally let go, Heaven opened her eyes. John gazed at her with love, adoring her gold eyes and her “skin sparkles” (her freckles.) They knew she was his, and he was hers now.
”Mr. Singer,” Heaven began.
”You could call me by my first name, I prefer it that way. We are so close than ever now.” John corrected her.
“John, I have something to confess to you as well.”
Hana’s ears perked up, knowing what was about to occur. Heaven took a deep breath.
”I.. I am.. r-royalty.” Heaven stammered, not liking the moment she had to say the word “royalty”. Her heart raced harder as she was going to confess her biggest secret. Heaven put her hand over her heart, in an attempt to calm herself down.
“If you say we are close than ever right now, then I must tell you that I am a princess of the Aeworan  Kingdom. Right now my kingdom is at war with the empire of Japan. My grandparents, the king and queen, had sent me and my personal maid here for our safety. If you wish to not be associated with me anymore, I understand and will not hold that against you...”

omg hi love!! if you ever open request please consider this 🤲🏻 but the single mom scenario you did with some more characters like ex: atsumu, bokuto, or iwazumi or anybody!! anyway ur amazing 🗣
hello love! I'm so sorry for the late response, I was kinda getting my life together, but yes! my requests are open! I'll write Bokuto's on the next part 'cause these scenarios are long
HAIKYUU BOYS AND A SINGLE MOM PT.2
Featuring: Atsumu, Iwaizumi
ATSUMU MIYA
the calm music and people chatter contradicted Atsumu's idea of a party, which was loud music, people dancing in the dance floor, dj's and a lot of drinking
but then again, it was Meian's party at his house, he has a wife and two daughters, which was why he was stuck at the couch of his captain's living room, watching the wives of his teammates interact and his teammates were either talking to each other or watching over their kids
even Sakusa was invested in his conversation with Ushijima with his son on his lap
he sat there staring at his phone, aching to leave, but can't 'cause it was his captain's birthday
"Hi excuse me?" Atsumu glanced up and oh boy was he in for a treat
manz really freezes on the spot, did he die of boredom? was he in heaven now? is this the angel taking him to the afterlife? 'cause damn he'd go without any hesitation
you waved your hand in front of his face wondering if he had a heat stroke or something
"sir, are you okay?" you waved again
he finally snapped out of his trance and looked away
"uh y-yes?" he asked, uncharacteristically embarrassed
"are you okay?" you asked worriedly
"yeah, yeah I'm fine, do you need anything?" he asks
you scratched the back of your neck and asked shyly
"can you hold her for a while? I-uhhh- I need to go to the bathroom" you were red as a tomato now, you had no choice everybody was busy at the party and he was the only one who appeared free
Atsumu didn't notice the chubby baby girl you were holding, she had a round face with rosy cheeks, she got your eyes, your lips, almost like a baby version of you with two pigtails on
he was in love for the second time today, but realization hit him fast, and he deflated
he cleared his throat and asked "ohh shouldn't her dad help you with her?" he asks politely while smiling at the baby
"oh, he's not really in the picture" you explained
Atsumu's eyes widen, it's for you to decide if it was because of how embarrassed he is for asking that question or because of happiness that holy shit- this absolutely gorgeous woman is single
"sure, I'll hold her" he smiled and took your baby from you
"what's your name by the way?" he asks, situating your baby on his lap
"oh I'm Y/n, and this is Hana, she's ten months old, you?" you asked back
"Atsumu, Miya Atsumu, and ya prolly want to go to the bathroom now"
you nod and went off to do you business
"hey there angel" he coos at the little girl who was staring up at him curiously
the girl giggles at him and smooshed her cheeks against his hard chest
dear lord save this man from eternal rest
"ya really got yer looks from yer momma huh?" he smirks and bounces her on his laps which garnered fits of laughter and giggles from Hana also making him laugh
"looks like she likes you" you say as you smiled and attempted to go to get Hana from him, but the baby just turned her back on you and clutched his shirt tight
"Baby, Atsumu might be tired, come to mommy please"
"nah, don't really mind, ya should relax for a bit and accompany me instead" he smirks at you
you nodded and you ended up spending the rest of the party with Atsumu and talked about random things
by the end of the day, he got your number before you headed home
he was driving his expensive sports car and called his brother
"the hell ya calling for? ya twerp"
"'Samu what does yer daughter and wife likes to do?"
IWAIZUMI HAJIME
it was the end of another work day for Iwaizumi, he was feeling pretty tired after running around scolding three particularly hyperactive players and attending countless of meetings
and a sight of a little girl being bullied was the cherry on top
he didn't interfere quickly since they were not getting physical with her and just closely listened in
"ew so you don't have a daddy?" the girl in the middle of the group rudely says
the little girl stared down to the ground fiddling with her fingers "n-no, but I-I have m-mama and s-she's the best in the w-whole wide w-world"
"still, you don't have a daddy, that's weird" the other girl said
"you don't have someone to give you a piggyback ride when you're tired what a loser" the girl on the left added
"your mama is probably a loser too since she can't find you a daddy"
Iwaizumi had enough and felt the need to step in
"you should leave her alone" he says in an intimidating voice, but it didn't seem to faze the three girls
"she has a daddy now and that's me now head home brats" he says and went over to the little girl and rested him hand on her shoulder, the girl looked up at him, eyes glossy
"don't lie mister, she clearly said she doesn't have a dad" the girl in the middle says feistily
"well she does now, you better head home before I report you to your school for bullying"
this statement seemed to scare the girls as they retreated grumbling
"you alright?" he asks the little girl with a gentle voice
she nodded
"what's your name?" he asks as he leads her to a bench
"Sara" the girl answers timidly
"where's your mom?" he asks
"she asks me to wait for her here, she's working" she answers and sat on the bench
Iwaizumi nods, inwardly applauding the mom for raising a polite and respectful daughter, despite being a single mother
"I'll wait with you then" he says and sat beside her
"mister?" Sara called out Iwaizumi as he answers with a hum
"hm?"
"what's your name?"
"Iwaizumi, Iwaizumi Hajime"
"would you like some candied fruits Mister Iwaizumi?"
he looks at the girl and she was holding a container full of candied strawberries and apples with toothpicks on them
Iwaizumi nods and took a piece
"mom makes them for me to eat while waiting for her, isn't she the best?" she smiled happily and ate a candied strawberry
it was evident in her eyes how much she adored her mother
"I'm sure she is" he smiled and finished off his candied fruit
"Mister Iwaizumi"
"hm?"
"can I call you dad?"
Iwaizumi was taken aback by her question but smiled
"sure you can"
"Sara!" the two whipped their heads to your direction and saw you carrying a paper bag, a cake box, and your purse, in your office attire
you had a motherly look in your eyes and Iwaizumi was absolutely captivated by you, despite your disheveled state, you were absolutely gorgeous in his eyes
"so much for not believing in love at first sight" Iwaizumi could hear Oikawa's teasing from the other side of the world
"I'm so sorry, I had to get you your birthday cake and gift"
"I told you she's the best didn't I?" Sara whispers to him
"yes, yes she is"
Sara ran over to you and introduced you to Iwaizumi and how he saved her from the bullies
You apologized profusely and he just waved it off saying it was not a big of a deal
"well, would you like to join us for Sara's birthday dinner, Iwaizumi?" you asked politely
"just call me Hajime, sure i'll join you, and you didn't tell me it was your birthday doll, I'll just get you a late birthday gift then" he pats Sara's head
Sara shakes her head "It's fine dad, I'm just happy I got to celebrate my birthday with a dad"
Iwaizumi could get use to this, it was never really in his plan to be a dad at this age, but looking at you smiling teary-eyed as you look at your daughter smiling brightly at him, he would give up everything to see that everyday
was it possible to care for someone this much when you just met them? I guess he got his answer 'cause that's exactly what he was feeling right now
after a night of eating and celebrating, Iwaizumi laid in his bed, fresh out of the shower as he calls someone
"Shittykawa"
"Iwa-chan you're in love are you?"
"how did you-"
"you only call me when you have a problem, I have a problem, or you're in love, judging by your less aggressive voice, I can tell my bestfriend he's in love"
"yeah, yeah, whatever shittykawa"
"so, who's the lucky girl?"
"girls, there's two of them"

Akaashi x sister!reader
Tumblr media
Author’s Note : This was originally gonna just be a short drabble but like.. I’ve thought of this before. So I changed it into a full fledged fic; Fukurōdani has a girls’ volleyball club ; Love hotels in Japan are pretty popular, especially in Tokyo, and happen to have kiosks to keep up the anonymity, while also offering options of staying overnight or for a few hours (generally 2-4). The rooms offer lots of options, including room service (including food and toys), such as jacuzzi, showers, massage chairs, King-sized bed, as well as a box of free condoms ; okay I don’t know if a butt plug can actually plug up a vagina and if it is even safe (it should be) so don’t take my words as fact! Please!
Tumblr media
Warnings : Incest, noncon/dubcon, gaslighting, naïve and innocent reader, manipulation, alcohol, underaged drinking [legal age in Japan is 20], love hotels, Keiji wants lil sis to be his housewife, mating press, pussyjob, orgasm denial, overstimulation, sex toys [butt/anal plug, egg vibrator, hitachi wand vibrator], lots of Nii-sans used, breeding kink, no actual pregnancy (yet), fingering (f. receiving)
Tumblr media
The roars of the crowd enters your ears as the ball bounces against the floor of the large stadium, the opposing players diving to receive the ball only to fail. Your team screams and cheers, everyone running to envelope the ace of your team, Akari, as she hugs everyone back. Screaming hurts your ears, yet you’re still doing it. Adrenaline rushes through you as the announcer claims your team with the victory and the announcement that you’ll be moving onto the next round, the finals of Nationals.
Your team lines up, shaking hands with the opposing team as congrats is shared between members. Once that is done, you all face the seats on both sides, bowing and thanking them for cheering you all on. When your eyes look into the stadium seats, they immediately catch the lidded eyes of Keiji, his hands clasped together as he smiles. The simple motion has your chest puffing with pride, tears sliding down your cheeks as you know you made him proud. With your position on the team, he’s the one who trained you to be the best setter the Fukurōdani girls’ volleyball club has ever had these last three years.
Once the moment is over, everyone is back at the hotel room and either on their laptops, phones, television, or asleep. When you exit the bathroom, your hair has been brushed and styled with a nice dress, accompanying the leggings and boots Keiji gifted you to wear. Akari whistles, her arm over your shoulder as she talks to you.
“Who you lookin’ so good for?” She pries, eyes tracing the lip gloss you put on.
“My brother. He requested me to wear something nice. He’s taking me to dinner,” a bit of heat is in your voice as you say that. Keiji’s always pampering you, he loves seeing you dolled up. It’s been like that since you were playing dress-up when he was 10 and you were 5. Akari’s gaze takes on a confused look, pursed lips as she processes your words.
“He’s always taking you somewhere nice after a good game, it feels like. Why don’t you ever invite us?” She finally says. Your head snaps up, looking in the mirror at yourself compared to Akari who is also looking at your face and outfit. It wasn’t glamorous in your eyes, but it suddenly dawns on you that it’s more than a brother should expect. The twist in your gut is ignored, your head shaking as you clear your head.
“He doesn’t know any of you guys. Plus, he’s an alumni. He’s always at our games,” your response isn’t what she was expecting, you’re sure of it. But the truth is, you don’t know why Keiji takes you out to nice restaurants or just on nice walks after games. It’s the few times he has off, always requesting off to be with you, cheering you on, his full support as your brother. Occasionally, he even brings along Bokuto, his best friend, who always congratulates you and asks to have you visit his own team someday. It’s a request that you always turn down, Keiji’s eyes taking on a dark glint that sends shivers down your spine at just the mere memory of them.
Akari leaves you alone after that, your time to get ready slowly coming to an end as your phone rings. It’s Keiji, of course, asking if you’re ready yet. “Almost, nii-san! I just need to get my coat and then I’ll head down.”
He’s at the lobby of the hotel, lounging in a chair as he swipes on his phone. He’s dressed as nicely as you are, black slacks with a nice white dress shirt, all under a large coat to keep out the cold. You bounce up to him, excited for the dinner. “You look beautiful, [Y/N],”
“Thank you! You know me so well, so it’s really all your doing,” you giggle, linking your hand in his offered elbow. It felt so right, being beside as you had been these past few years. Walking towards the restaurant, you didn’t even feel the ache in your ankles and balls of your feet from the heels nor the unmistakeable tension between the two of you. It just felt familiar and right to be in this position, sitting across from Keiji as he lets you gush about all the stuff going through your head during the match or even when you happened to be getting ready for the dinner. A shadow seems to settle over his face as you refer to it as such, just a dinner. You almost referred to it as a date, but quickly corrected yourself.
Tension hangs between you two, you having to force it away by breaking the silence Keiji brings. He’s usually much more talkative, praising you as he talks about what you did right and correcting you on things you did wrong, but never criticizing you too hard. Dinner ends, with Keiji paying the full bill without ever letting you know, saying that he simply cannot let a woman pay, regardless of situation. The champagne and wine he let you have a taste of lingers in your mouth, a burn in your throat from the bitter taste of alcohol. It’s not enough to get you drunk, but you do find yourself clinging to Keiji tighter, feet unstable and legs unreliable as he brings you back to the hotel.
He stops and even in your bubbly and hazy state, you can tell the hotel isn’t the same. “Come on, you need to rest,” he says, lips next to you ear as he ushers you inside. Upon entering the room, the lobby, you know it’s not the same. You panic, the alcohol making you less restrained in your actions as you go to tug on Keiji’s arm.
“Nii—”
“Ah, ah, Keiji, dear. Until we get back to your room,”
His usage of ‘your room’ has your nerves calming down, even as he uses his card to pay the kiosk and tap on the screen, buying something. A metal jingle comes from the bottom of the electronic, Keiji picking up the key to a room. Urging you along, you follow him to the elevator. The lack of people seems to enter your mind, confusing you as you glance around the spotlessly clean black elevator. A small voice enters your mind, telling you that the hotel’s elevators are supposed to be silver, shimmering in the light that shines down.
Keiji has to practically drag you into a room, the door shutting and clicking behind you as it locks. The room is spacious, a large tub in the corner of the room as the king-sized bed offers comfort and relaxation. Yet, you falter— unmoving, your voice seems to barely get out as you question your brother. “Where... where are we?”
“My room for the night, dear. You’re drunk, you need to rest,” his comforting words have you slowly shuffling towards the bed. The chair beside the bed seems too fancy for something in a normal hotel room, more adrenaline entering your veins as you panic from unfamiliarity.
“Nii-san, I don’t like this. Take me back to my room. Akari and Hana and-”
“Shut up, you little slut,” the venom in his words has you squeaking, your much smaller frame easily being pinned to the bed by Keiji’s much broader frame. “I’ve been generous this entire evening and all you’ve blabbered about is your team and your friends. What about me, huh? You haven’t even asked how I was doing the entire date,”
“Nii-san, stop!”
“Do I not hold the most importance in your life anymore? You used to be all over me, my sweet little sister that absolutely enjoyed being around me. Now you’re prancing around as if you have not a care in the world. That boy from the boys’ volleyball club seemed awfully close for comfort, don’t you think?”
“He-,” you once more falter, the brief images from after the game when the captain of the boys’ team congratulated all of you on the win. He wasn’t close to you, you were sure of it, but why would Keiji have been there? “He’s barely a friend, nii-san,”
“Not only that, but you always have that giggle and tendency to twirl your hair as you talk to Bokuto-san, your body moving closer to him as he would walk beside you. You barely acknowledge my existence anymore. Do you know how that makes me feel?”
“I’m sorry,” the tears spill down your cheeks, a hiccup as he continues to say mean things. “I’m sorry,”
“You’ll be graduating soon and then you’re going to live with me. You’re going to live with me and be my little housewife. I’m going to make you completely mine, inside and out,” his breath is hot as it fans over your face, his grip strong as he continues to squeeze and hold your face. You’re unable to do anything, the fear from his words and actions has you frozen beneath him. As his words settle in, ice crawls through your veins as you realize your gut feeling, the tension between you two, everything you ignored for the past hour and a half had a reason for being there. His entire plan was to bring you here, but you’re unable to do much of anything against him — he’s always been stronger than you. When you were young, it was comforting, his arms holding you after a nightmare or even when your first friend moved to America, but now it just served to bring more tears to you eyes, your body forced to let him do what he wants to you.
Keiji’s quick to undress you, your coat being shed as he pushes your fancy dress up, the leggings, shoes, and panties being pulled off and left to fall on the floor. Tears continue to fall, chest heaving as you’re powerless to do anything. Even if you could find the energy to move and attempt get him off of you, it wouldn’t bring anything to fruition. “You’re so dry, are you not enjoying this?”
“No, nii-san. I’m not,” you’re honest with him, yet he doesn’t stop. Sitting back on his heels, he lets his eyes trail over your form. Before a thought can enter your mind to move, he’s pushing his weight on top of you as he grabs something the table beside him, a long metal rod emerging from the miniature dresser. He keeps you pinned, moving the rubber head down to your clit, pressing a button as it begins to vibrate. “Ah! Nii-san,” your muddled voice comes out, the sensation sending an unfamiliar tingling up your spine.
“It feels good, doesn’t it? Don’t worry, I’m going to make you feel even better. All you gotta do is relax, pretty girl,”
“I’m- I’m still- y-your—” your words die on your tongue, your gut twisting into a knot as the sensation turns pleasurable. You’ve never touched yourself, always being told by Keiji that only bad girls touched themselves, that whores and sluts did. Keiji-nii doesn’t like those kinds of girls, so you never dared to go against his wishes.
“Of course you are, baby. You’ll always be my pretty girl, even if I have to remind you exactly where you belong. I’ll remind you of your place,” his words stop there, but in your head his words continue. Silently, the words of ‘if you’ll let me’ enter, an unspoken question that asks for your consent. Yet, you don’t give him anything else. Your moans and mewls are all he gets, a hand grasping at the unbuttoned dress shirt still on him. A small smile paints along his lips, your vision going black as you roll your eyes. Before the knot can release, the vibrations are removed from your clit and you whine, aftershocks coursing through you.
Keiji’s voice is barely a whisper, under his breath, “I’ll give you something much better, don’t worry.” The vibrator is forgotten and discarded, his hands fumbling with his slacks as he pulls them down, along with the dark grey underwear. His cock springs free, hard and thick and long, you unconsciously scoot away as he strokes himself. “Don’t move away,”
“But it’s scary, nii-san,” you whimper, arms close to your chest as your head bumps against the headboard. He doesn’t say anything, using his hand to rub his cock’s tip against your folds. Contrary to earlier, you’re dripping wet as the wet smacks of his appendage against your skin has you clenching around nothing, more juices dripping out. Moving his hips back and forth, he adds another sensation on your clit as he thrusts in between your folds. His tip catches onto the hood of your folds, brushing against the overly sensitive nerves as you whine and mewl at each move he makes.
“You’re so nice and slick for me, it won’t hurt. It just seems scary, look,” he forces you to do just that, hand gripping your hair as he forces you to look at his cock. The underside of it is glistening with your slick, absolutely dripping with you as it slides down to his base and over his balls. “It’s just in your mind, it won’t hurt. Don’t you trust me?”
“But nii-san, I don’t want this,” it’s not what he wants to hear, you’re sure of it. Yet he says nothing. A sigh finally breaks the silent tension as he rubs his finger against your cunt, two fingers slipping in until they can’t anymore. You’re tight, you know you are, clenching around only two of his fingers.
“If you didn’t want this, you would still be dry. You wouldn’t be squeezing my fingers so snugly. This is your body saying it wants this, don’t you remember what I said?”
Of course you don’t, he says a lot to you, so you shake your head. Another sigh.
“You need to listen to your body. It knows you better than you know yourself. I know you better than you do, you know,” his words ring true, his fingers continuing to pump themselves into you as he talks. Eventually, the feeling is no longer unfamiliar, the sensation pleasing as you moan. He smiles at that, leaning to press a kiss to your forehead as his fingers retract themselves. Using the slick on them, he rubs them against his cock to use as lube.
Pushing his tip into you is scary, but it’s not painful. As he sinks further into you, it becomes much more painful. The room must be soundproof, since Keiji keeps pushing in without trying to make you stop your screaming. He does, however, lean down to press his lips to your tear-stained cheeks as you squeeze him. He groans, his hips rutting against you. “You’re fine, stop screaming. Stop being so pathetic,”
His harsh words have your screams silencing, tears and sniffles as your walls flutter around him. It still hurts, it burns, it stings, it’s more painful than anything you’ve ever dealt with before. Before you can manage to get adjusted, Keiji is pushing your legs up to your chest, somehow making himself feel deeper than he actually is. The feeling of being crushed is back once more, his hips rearing back only to come back down against your skin. The scream from your throat is more of a moan, nails digging into the back of Keiji’s neck and teasing the small hairs as he pistons his cock into your cunt.
It’s a tight fit, the way you’re sucking him in and squeezing him with every thrust. Keiji’s balls slap against your slick ass, cunt squelching with each pump of his cock into you as more juices are forced out. His own moans and grunts of pleasure are drowning in the wave of mewls, squeals, and moans spilling from your lips. The feeling from before is back, the knot in your tummy as he rubs his cock against the inside of your walls and instead of being denied once more, the knot finally snaps as you cream all around his cock, accompanying a squeal of his name.
“That’s it, pretty girl. Cum on my cock, let me know how good you feel,” he chuckles, picking up his pace as you continue to suck him in. A garbled call of ‘nii-san!’ leaves your lips, the sensation of his heavy balls slapping against you and his thick cock against your fluttering walls has you creaming around him once more. A sound akin to a growl comes from his throat, leaning even further forwards as he gets himself as deep as he can go, the hair at the base of his cock rutting against your sensitive clit. “I’m going to fill you with my seed and you’re going to have my babies, okay?”
“No, nii-san, I don’t want that!” You cries are ignored, your body continuing to clamp around his cock as he shoots his load into you. The feeling of being full and so warm inside has your eyes rolling, drool spilling from your open mouth as you gush around him, clear liquid splashing against his abdomen.
Once the high has passed, he removes his cock from you, keeping you in that position. You don’t dare speak, unsure you’ll be able to as your throat burns from all the screaming and cries. A metal object briefly enters your vision, the object being inserted into your pussy that drips with your brother’s seed, milky white and thick.
“If you keep it all inside, I’ll give you another treat, okay? You wanna be a good girl for me, don’t you?” He doesn’t wait for a response, but he does take out another object. “You need to keep having an orgasm, I’ll make sure you feel real good, okay?” A medium-sized egg-shaped object enters your ass, another stinging pain from the insertion. Another round of vibrations start, your legs shaking as you mewl, head thrown back as you feel another orgasm quickly coming on. “You’ll be a good little housewife for me, won’t you? Swollen with my child and your pussy will be all for me, you know this, don’t you?”
Of course you do, regardless whether your mind agrees with you or not. He’s your nii-san and he knows best.

The Final Goodbye - Chapter 2
Book: The Royal Romance, Book 2
Pairing: Liam x Riley
All characters belong to Pixelberry.
Description: In a slight canon divergence from book 2, Riley reaches her breaking point with the engagement tour and decides to restart her life when the court gets to NYC. Can the rest of the group clear her name, and convince her to come back before it’s too late?
Catch Up Here
Rating: PG (I think there are a few swear words in there, very angsty, but otherwise pretty mild)
Word Count: 1,299
A/N: I am so incredibly humbled by the response I got from chapter 1 last week. I don’t think it’s been much of a secret that I’ve been kind of down on my writing and myself in general the last couple of weeks, but the overwhelming love that you all have sent to me via your reblogs, comments, and messages this week has truly warmed my heart and meant the world to me. Thank you so, so much for your support.
Again, I have to mention my fandom soulmate (yea, I’m just going to start calling you that always now, because you are) @jessiembruno. Your support and encouragement has been monumental in getting me out of my funk, and I will forever be grateful and in your debt for all you have done for me. Even if it’s just keeping me company via zoom while I do my nails for 2 hours!
Shout out to @emkay512. This doll face reached out on Friday and is an absolute sweetheart. We got to talking, and she mentioned that today is her birthday, so I would like to dedicate today’s chapter to her! Happy birthday beautiful, and I apologize in advance for further breaking your heart on your special day.

When Riley finished her song, the entire bar erupted into uproarious applause as she hurried off the stage, the entire bar minus one table. Riley’s group of friends were completely silent. Maxwell, Drake, and Hana shot each other concerned looks before turning to Liam. He was staring at a now empty stage, they could all see that he was trying to keep his expression neutral, but that proved to be difficult with a single tear rolling down his cheek.
Drake placed a hand on his shoulder, snapping him out of his daze. “Li, are you alright buddy?”
Liam cleared his throat and shook his head, looking over at his friend. “Yes...yea, sorry. She has an amazing voice, doesn’t she?”
“The best. She’s our very own diva!” Maxwell said in an upbeat tone, trying to remind everyone that they were supposed to be having fun. “Where did our little Mariah run off to?” He started looking around the bar to find her.
“She probably just went to the bathroom. I’ll go check on her.” Hana got up from the table and headed toward the ladies room at the back of the bar.
Liam rested his elbows on the table and cradled his head in his hands. All he could think about was the hurt in her eyes as she looked at him from the stage, pouring her heart out to him. He couldn’t help but feel like that song was more than just a way to vent her frustrations at their current situation. He didn’t need to say a word for his friends to know exactly what he was thinking.
Drake was the first one to speak up. “Listen Liam, it was a really bad day for her. She had to pick up Madeleine’s wedding ring, it was kind of a mind fuck for her.”
His head snapped up at the information he had received. “She what?!”
“Yea, Madeleine sent her. She said she needed to do it as a thank you for letting Riley come on the tour and be in your life.” Maxwell added.
Liam’s expression immediately hardened as his hands clenched into fists. “I can’t believe Madeleine would…”
“Um...guys, she wasn’t there.” Hana interrupted. All three of them turned to look at her with wide eyes.
Liam felt his chest tighten as he jumped out of his seat. “What do you mean she wasn't there? Where did she go? We have to find her!”
As Liam turned to head for the door, Maxwell grabbed his arm and pulled him back. “Liam, hold on. She probably just went back to the hotel. Letting that much emotion out in front of all of these people, in front of you, it had to have been exhausting.”
“Well I need to go talk to her then.”
“Liam, don’t. If she ran out of here like that, she wants to be alone. I know Brooks well enough to know that if she wants to talk, she’ll come to you. Showing up at her door isn’t going to fix anything right now.” Drake patted the seat next to him, encouraging Liam to sit back down.
“Fine, but I’m going to need another drink.” Liam slumped into the seat next to Drake and ran a hand through his hair.
**
The next morning, Drake was heading in the direction of Riley’s room when he heard Liam calling out to him. He turned to see his friend lightly jogging to catch up to him. “Hey Liam, how’d you sleep?”
“I didn’t. I spent all night convincing myself not to rush to Riley’s room to talk to her.”
They walked together as another voice filled the hallway. “Liam, darling.” They both cringed and turned around to see Madeleine at the other end of the hall with her hands on her hips. “We are needed for the final preparations.”
“Madeleine, I’m in the middle of something. I will meet you there.” He stood tall, and took a deep breath. He still hadn’t confronted her about the errand she had sent Riley on, but that conversation would be happening very soon.
Madeleine arched an eyebrow and walked quickly and confidently in their direction, stopping in front of Liam with her arms folded across her chest. “Sweetheart, you are needed to prepare for our wedding shower. What am I supposed to tell everyone when I arrive on my own? Do what you will with her in your free time. This is our time, I cannot have you missing important meetings for her. That’s not how this works.”
“She is more important than any meeting that will ever come across my calendar, especially any meeting involving you.” He sneered at her before turning to Drake. “Tell her I came by. And let me know if there is anything I can do.”
“Of course, man.” Drake clapped Liam on the shoulder and watched as Madeleine linked her arm through Liam’s and walked away.
As Liam and Madeleine headed to the elevator, they passed Maxwell, the friends exchanging sad looks.
“Hey Drake, how’s our girl holding up?”
“Don’t know, that interrupted us before we could get to her.”
“Well, let’s go cheer her up. I’ve got some great news!” He bounded toward Riley’s room.
“What do you mean? What kind of news?”
Maxwell turned to him as he began to knock on the door. “We found Tariq!” Drake’s jaw dropped and he stared at Maxwell in shock, as he continued to knock on the door, not getting a response from Riley. “Little Blossom, rise and shine. We’ve got a big day ahead of us!” He turned his attention back to Drake. “This is weird, she’s usually at least yelling at me to go away by now.”
That comment gave Drake an uneasy feeling in his stomach, he pushed Maxwell aside and began banging on the door. “Come on Brooks, let us in.” A couple of neighboring doors opened as angry heads popped out of them, glaring at the early morning intrusion.
“What is the meaning of this commotion? This is a nice hotel, not a frat house!” Maxwell stiffened at the sound of his brother’s voice. Drake continued his assault on the door.
“Bertrand! Um...hi. Riley’s not answering the door. She had a late night, she’s probably still asleep.” Maxwell stumbled through his words.
Bertrand closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Maxwell, do you have the spare key to her room?”
“Oh, right! I forgot about that.” He reached into his back pocket, pulling out a key card for the room and handing it to Drake. “Here, use this.”
Drake shook his head and snatched the card out of his hands. “Brooks, we’re coming in. You’ve been warned. I don’t want to see anything I’m not supposed to.”
They opened the door and entered her room, walking through the sitting area, the bedroom, and then the bathroom. Riley was nowhere to be found. Her bed looked untouched, and it was too early for housekeeping to have come through.
The three men discussed how best to move forward from here. They were in New York, so Riley was already home, they knew she wouldn’t try to fly out anywhere. But they also knew that they needed to get to LA to track down Tariq and get him to make a statement before he found out they were on his trail and disappeared again. Drake and Maxwell hesitantly agreed to meet up with Hana and take Liam’s jet to LA to get Tariq, while Bertrand went in search of Riley, to talk her into returning. All three agreed it was best not to tell Liam that Riley was missing. He was already dealing with enough, and Riley’s performance the night before had taken quite a toll on him.

📣: Dad!Seungkwan // fluff // 717 words
A/N: Happy Sunday! enjoy this dad!Seungkwan that i find too much fun working on ;-; these kids on my fics are may or may not be a projection of my sister’s kids looool
find the rest of requested drabble here
Tumblr media
“You sure you’re gonna be okay?” you ask Seungkwan again, both of your arms around his neck with your thumb caressing the exposed skin there.
Seungkwan nods determinedly and shifts a little, a bit ticklish from the touch. “Yes, do you not trust me?”
“You know it’s not about that,” you sigh, pouting at him. Seungkwan doesn’t resist the urge to drop a kiss on your lips, doing exactly that before you can continue. “Just worried it might be too much if I leave both Haru and Hana with you. I can take one of them, you know?”
“I’ll be fine.” Your husband rolls his eyes, unamused by your constant worry. “They’re my daughters too and I am the Boo Seungkwan, you don’t need to worry. Just go help Seokmin pick a ring for his girl and go home right after that if you’re that worried.”
Frankly, you don’t doubt Seungkwan’s ability to take care of your kids; he’s good with them and he still has it in him to be strict when they’re too much even if he’s absolutely whipped for his girls. But you’ve never actually left Seungkwan with them for hours except for the few times you nap during the day, the lack of sleep from the night before catching up with you. So, if anything, you just worry they might have too much energy even for him.
“Stop thinking too much,” he says again, his hands reaching your cheeks to squeeze them. “Your bestfriend’s boyfriend needs your help to pick a ring and you’re worried about leaving kids with their own Dad?”
You scrunch your nose at that, unable to say anything back. Just in time, Haru shouts from somewhere in the house, announcing her hunger.
Tumblr media
“Dad, Hana says she wants snacks,” Haru tells him, her body against his chest as she plays with her doll’s hair. Hana is beside him, head leaning to his waist as she’s busy playing with her toy. It’s an awkward position for him, but Seungkwan is more than happy to be squished by his daughters.
Seungkwan furrows his eyebrows, hands also playing with Haru’s hair just like his child is doing to her doll. “How’d you know what she’s babbling out?”
Hana is almost two now, still learning how to speak but she tries her best with her nonstop babbling.
“Duh,” Haru says as if it’s obvious, shaking her head as if it’s the most obvious thing on earth. “I was her age once, wasn’t I?”
Seungkwan stares down at his child in disbelief, he’s pretty sure his 5 years old kid has been spending too much time with her aunties that she’s picking up the way they talk. How is it normal that a kid as tall as his thighs is talking like she’s an old lady who’s seen too much during her youth?
“Should we get some snack for you then, Hana?” he turns to his small child, tilting his head at her.
Hana seems to understand the word ‘snack’ at once, quickly looking up at her dad with her adorable eyes, arms reaching out to him.
Seungkwan squeals at her, softly squishing her cheeks once before telling Haru to get up from his lap so he can hold her sister. “What does Hana want, hm? Can you tell Dad?”
His daughter happily says something he doesn’t really get, but Haru is quick to point the snack she often eats with her sister to her dad, standing on her toes near the shelf because it’s a little too high for her.
The dad looks at her with devastation, why does it feel like it was just yesterday Haru’s trying to walk? Now she’s already standing on her tippy toes, wanting to help her sister. Something in him melts at the thought, coming behind her after sitting Hana down on her baby chair.
He lifts Haru up, so she can get the snacks she’s been trying to reach. “That enough?” he asks, and Haru nods happily, wiggling around to be put down and then quickly makes her way to sit on the chair beside Hana.
As he looks at both his daughters sitting next to each other, Haru nodding seriously at whatever Hana’s talking about, Seungkwan’s sure he’s never been this content in his life.

Finishing up SoNY, ‘bad’ end and final thoughts!
But first, the early game over.
Wow, she just gets shot. Not even slurped? That’s rude as hell XD;;
And on to the ‘bad’ end!
Beginning is much the same, ofc.
“You’re too in love with weaving a good story and establishing a seductive narrative to let facts get in the way.” Foreshadowing for the ‘good’ end, maybe?
God that Embrace scene gives me literal goosebumps.
Alright! Last time I did Danse Macabre and Retributive Justice, let’s try The Risks of Swiping Right!
lmao god I’d eat this guy too. Back to the ghost club! That legitimately is a really neat scene. ...Ooh yes so that’s where the girl was from.
Panhard just lowkey dying at the mental image of Katherine Weise in a fast food restaurant is so good.
The sweet scene between Julia and Dakota hits a bit different after the ‘good’ end XD;;
Went to the park, reminisced, and helped out the guy. That was sweet ;_; High-humanity Julia, this time!
‘Fairy God Mother?’ is great but ‘Vin Diesel?’ is objectively the funnier response.
“Shining even more brightly than usual, Aisling.” Samira got a cru-ush~
Poor Julie. It’s probably been tough without Sophie around :(
Huh. Interestingly, refusing to lie to Mia results in Julia actually feeling genuine loyalty to the Cammies (for now, at least).
Believing Agathon is still alive = more optimistic = different dialogue! See, this is how you make choices have consequences, game!
Oooh boy time to meet Adelaide XD;;
“She uncrosses her legs in a strangely seductive motion. In her mind’s eye, it probably looked like Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct, but in reality, it had all the grace of a tracksuit Slav squatting.” *snickering*
Fight me, Adelaide >:(
‘sup Nastya. Went with the slightly less disruptive routine here XD Huh, she’s an aspiring DJ! Julia is deeply confused as to how being a DJ and being head of security works together.
lmao Julia referring to Hope as a girlboss. That phrase has lost all meaning to me...
The conversation between Julia and Father Leonard is still really interesting. Man, you know who I want Julia to talk to? Anatole. Interesting insights into balancing being queer Catholic vampires there for sure.
lmao oh my god I want to fight this street reporter.
‘I can almost feel my brain losing its wrinkles.’ *snort*
Yeaghhhh the Abyss bit is still so creepy...
Oops. Being honest regarding Tamika and Torque’s relationships gets a fail :(
Oh, or not XD That works! Also, uh, apparently the giant albino ghoul alligator is real, according to New York by Night. He’s Calebros’ pet.
“Because I think I have a pretty good nose for people’s auras. And when I take a good look at you... ...somehow, I have a feeling you’re a surprisingly decent person. Whatever way of unlife you choose, I hope you don’t change it. And that you remember my advice.” :)
“I know.” Oof.
“Hi.” “WAAAH!” lmao sorry Princess XD;; Just trying to imagine Qadir’s face as he tells Julia to find a 1990 glass statue of Scrooge McDuck... dying...
Oh she’s so a Toreador XD Low art options are a fantasy book, an anime DVD, or a video game... those can all be arty, though! And went with the anime DVD called ‘Ririsu no Daibouken’... that translates to ‘Adventures of Lilith’. How on the nose XD “The cover says ‘Lilith’s Carnal Carnival’.” Oh. Yeah, that’d do it XD
“This 90s original video anime presents us with a tale of five big-bosomed samurai warriors travelling through America in search of General Hastavista, The Incubus King. Don’t let all the titillation misguide you: the main draws here are peerless direction, a nearly avant-garde editing rhythm and dialogue that coyly comments on traditional gender roles in anime. Once you see the animation in the final battle, you’ll understand why it never fails to set a sakuga fan’s heart ablaze!”
Tumblr media
She’s my new favourite.
“So can I know your name now?”
“Hmmm... Let me think...
No. <3″
I need to stress that the heart appears in the dialogue box. Like. The actual less-than-three heart.
Didn’t investigate the rat this time, so Qadir did and I die. “Glad you’re alright, little guy.” Qadir...
Still not over the drunk blood doll rats.
Kaiser’s still a goddamn creep and this time Julia is not going too far. She still has her humanity, dammit. Final set of traits:
Loyal to the end
Glass half-full
Not into a bad cop schtick
Honesty is the best policy
No more human, still humane
Onwards to the ‘bad’ end! Oops, and Dakota still did the Single White Female thing XD;;
Man I’m still really curious who the ‘good friend’ is!!
Okay! Time for end game!!
So that’s the good friend, huh? “Let me phrase it differently, then. You’re not Ecaterina the Wise, the Agitator of Prague, a Brujah elder causing turbulences all over the world... are you?”
Mention of Christof! Mention of Christof doing shady shit :| Poor Hana.
“An immigrant from Eastern Europe comes to New York City, takes the position she always expected to find herself in, is molded into someone who is no longer herself.”
Julia and Dakota representing Carthage is kind of neat.
I want to say the mention of St Jude is a reference, but I’m not sure what to XD;; Is that from Redemption? Christof could have been the one to tell Hana that.
“Like a two-person human centipede loop or something. An Ouroburos? Or an, uhh, Mobius strip?” No, that’s the other traditionally Sabbat clan XD
That‘s. That’s a hell of a reconciliation XD “Yeah, let’s give it a try. By the way I’m on the run for my unlife, want to go to California and try to find utopia?”
Julia, wear a fucking mask XD
“Hey.”
“Yeah?“
“Do you love me?”
“... Of course I do. For now, at least.”
I still don’t know if I love her. Or even if I can love anyone, for that matter. I’m a fucking monster, after all. I don’t even know if we’ll exist next month. The prospects are not looking good. But although I can’t see myself in the rearview mirror right now...
...I will remember this image of us leaving the city, somewhat melancholic, and somewhat hopeful, forever. And maybe the meaning of this image will be clarified with time. Or maybe I will just force a more positive description on it, and that is what I’ll believe.
No matter what happens... even if oceans of blood lie before us, I will make this a cherished memory.
Whatever possible salvation still remains for me... ...it probably lies in the eyes of another.
Oh dang I have chills.
So the ‘bad’ ending is about the subverted compromise. Julia resigns herself to letting the compromise about the truth of Callihan’s death go ahead. ‘Catherine’ is a walking compromise to hide the Ecaterina’s real deeds. But while Hana is still stuck in her role for now, Julia refuses to accept the compromise she’s made, both the one relating to the investigation and the compromise she made of her own views and morals. It might blow up in her face, yeah. But damn, she’s going to try.
So, final thoughts! For the sake of completion, this is what I said about Coteries:
And of course this is the part where the game all falls apart :-\
Just… god. This is probably the biggest problem with CoNY, and the reason I didn’t bother getting it until it was like… 60% off. The bulk of the game is great - the writing is intriguing, the design is stunning. But the choices themselves are so limited it’s barely worth even getting it at 60% off!
You have three choices of characters, with their own opening chapters and own individual scenes with their touchstones. You have four choices of coterie members, and three sidequests. You can probably get in at least three full story arcs and a sidequest or two, but you’re only ever limited to two of your coterie members showing up at the not-yet-endgame.
So let’s say you decide to play all three protags, which, indeed, is encouraged (there’s an achievement for it). You are going to repeat coterie arcs and side quests, because there simply aren’t enough for three unique playthroughs.
And then you get to the end and literally everything is scripted. You get attacked by the SI. You get rescued by your two coterie members (and then never see them again, despite the game being called Coteries of New York). You meet Torque, you escape the SI, Sophie reveals her plan to Torque, you go to Ellis Island, Adelaide kills Sophie (and despite the fact that you’re given multiple options there, none of them work), Arturo does his spiel, end of game. You don’t even get to choose between ending up blood bound or going “no fuck you” and at least dying with a bit of dignity!
I just. I really want to like it, and there genuinely is a lot there to like! But uuuugh the ending. Like damn at least give the poor protag the option to choose what happens to them!
Anyway. Not sure what’s next. To get all the achievements, you have to finish with all three protags, so that’s three full runs and a lot of repetitiveness (compare to, say, Bloodlines or Night Road. I have eighty-five hours on Night Road and there’s still stuff I haven’t seen!), so I can’t even just… rush it through up to the meeting with the touchstones on the third play. Nope. Gotta finish it :-\
Final rating: 6/10
8/10 characters, 9/10 atmosphere, 8/10 story aside from ending, 3/10 story ending, 2/10 replayability. Final consensus: get it on major sale if you can, otherwise, you might as well just watch an LP. I might do that instead of doing a third run, although I at least want to do a second.
I ended up revising that 6/10 to 5.5/10 after finishing all runs and getting the achievements just out of how goddamn repetitive it was. So, how does Shadows measure up?
Absolutely continued with all the things I enjoyed about CoNY (characters, atmosphere, and writing), and of the bits I hated (cookie cutter protagonists, lack of real choice, repetitiveness, the godawful ending), every single part has been completely improved.
Instead of three fledglings so similar they even have the same internal thoughts, we have Julia, who’s got such a distinct voice that she becomes the most memorable game protag I’ve seen in years, and I’m including non-VtM games in this. This is absolutely her game, and it’s just... absolutely fascinating to read and watch.
Related - actual real choices. There are five key choices that determine the ending, and every single one has actual consequence in-game. You get different dialogue. Different introspection. Different philosophies. And this carries across - if Julia believes Agathon is alive, she’s more optimistic about her relationship with Dakota, too. And of course, both endings are completely distinct and incredibly written - the ‘good’ ending where Julia gives in to her most Lasombra instincts, plays the game, wins it, gets power and respect at the expense of her humanity and avoiding all those wraiths... or the ‘bad’ ending when she listens to her morals, reconciles with Dakota, and leaves for California, uncertain, but hopeful.
Not a lot of repetitiveness. Yes, by design, you’ll probably do two playthroughs. The main plot is much the same, but there are enough options there to get multiple dialogue options and stuff. And for the little sidequests, you can actually get all in with just the two playthroughs, only repeating like... two, I think. Still, I wasn’t feeling actively bored like I was midway through my second run of CoNY!
Loved seeing more in-depth backstory and development for the coterie members. Agathon’s section was particularly fascinating, literally getting into his head.
And just. Atmosphere and music is so, so good.
Final rating: 9/10. Thank you, Draw Distance, you hit it out of the park.

Why Are We Still Waiting? - Prologue
Pairing: Drake Walker x MC (Riley Liu)
Book: The Royal Romance (It Couldn’t Wait Another Moment universe, just over one year after the epilogue)
Word Count: ~5500
Rating: R (language only)
Summary: As Riley prepares for a new chapter in her life, she’s forced to reflect on a time when things felt much less certain.
Author’s Note: Well, the sequel’s here... and I feel like it’s gonna not be what any of you all are expecting, but hopefully you will enjoy the journey still. We are so far from canon at this point, given the diverging plots, so no point comparing this timeline to that timeline. This prologue is set 13 months after the epilogue of It Couldn’t Wait Another Moment, but it does feature a flashback (in italics) to an event that happened about 4 months after that epilogue. The subsequent chapters will pick up about 8 months down the road from this prologue, or 21 months after the ICWAM epilogue.
Tumblr media
Riley rifled through her purse, trying to find her keys, eventually finding them shoved beneath her phone, three tubes of lip gloss, and her flashcards that had scattered everywhere when the rubber band broke. Flashcards that were now sticky with lip gloss, she realized as her hand came out with tacky coral streaks across her knuckles. Oh well. Nothing was going to kill her good mood today.
She had just finished her last final exam of the spring semester. And provided she passed, which she was pretty confident she had, she would be a college graduate. It was crazy to think about. After her mother’s death, she assumed her degree would just sit unfinished, those last two semesters of credits seemingly unattainable. But now, she had probably just completed her last requirement for her BA in Communication Studies and Resources. Combine that with the fact that she had a likely job offer pending from the director of a PR firm who had led her Race and Media seminar and that she was getting married in four weeks, and she was riding high.
Hana had told her she was crazy when Riley had told her the wedding was going to be a month after her courses ended, but honestly, it hadn’t been too bad. Sure, Riley probably should have checked the academic calendar before she and Drake set the date, but they only had 23 people coming down to Texas, and that included Maxwell who was officiating. And an outdoor, casual wedding on a ranch involved a lot fewer details than the ritzy London soiree Hana and Catherine were currently putting together. At this point, all that was really left was trying on her dress one last time so Hana could see if she needed to make any last alterations, and that was happening next week when Hana was coming to New York for both business and the bachelorette party.
Climbing the steps, Riley knew she had to be basically grinning. She could smell something delicious coming from their apartment. She’d suspected Drake was going to make something special for dinner tonight, and the aroma that was wafting down the hallway confirmed that she was in for a treat. He could hear his voice muffled through the door as she turned the key, meaning he was probably on the phone. Knowing that he liked to keep the phone on speaker when he was cooking, she kept quiet as she opened the door and entered their apartment, not wanting to interrupt his conversation.
“Savannah, you gotta slow down,” Drake said towards his phone which was sitting on the counter as he held a knife over a cutting board.
Savannah’s sobs could be heard through the speaker phone, slightly distorted and off. “I just feel like… such… an idiot. And Drake, I don’t know what to do.”
Drake glanced up as Anderson trotted over to greet Riley, but she raised her hand and shook her head. If his sister was having some sort of crisis, that came before celebrating the end of finals.
“It’s bad enough that I’m the… unwed Baby Mama at court, but to get knocked up... again? Drake, I can’t let them know. They barely accept me being with Bertie as it is.”
Riley’s eyebrows shot up as she quietly hung her purse up on the hooks Drake had installed by the door and sat down at the table. Maybe she should feel bad about essentially eavesdropping, but Drake was going to tell her everything Savannah said anyway. Particularly something as massive as this.
“Who cares what they think?” Drake asked as he set the knife down and rubbed the back of his neck in frustration.
“I care!”
Drake let out a little sigh and shook his head. “What does Bertrand think about all of this?”
“He was a little shell shocked at first, but then he marched into his office and pulled a ring box out of a desk drawer. Apparently, he’d been planning on proposing for a while.”
Riley glanced down at the heirloom ring on her left ring finger. Savannah’s story was eerily familiar, and suddenly found herself thinking back on an afternoon last August.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Riley laid on the floor of the kitchen, trying to slow her mind down. It was a technique she’d been trying at her therapist’s suggestion for the past few months any time she found herself about to dive into a massive decision without giving it any thought. Apparently, her life experiences during her childhood and adolescence had created a habit of her rushing through major choices so that she wouldn’t have to think about possible negative outcomes. An avoidant coping mechanism was what he called it. Riley thought it was a little absurd that he needed a term for everything, and she didn’t think it took a genius to figure out that her absent father, her addict mother, and the endless string of foster homes messed her up in some ways, but he was relaxed and easy to talk to, which she supposed was what really mattered.
“Just find a way to ground yourself in the moment. Connect yourself to the physical environment, and let your thoughts settle. Give it a try, okay?” he’d requested, so she’d done it a few times since then, like when she was signing up for courses for the semester or when she and Drake had decided on this apartment. Laying down and closing her eyes usually worked pretty well. It helped clear her mind as her body adjusted to the position and the feel of the floor. But today, she couldn’t slow things down. Probably because her mind was racing thinking about the feel of her body, trying to determine if she felt any different. She knew that was stupid, but she just couldn’t help it.
Her phone buzzed on the floor next to her, but she didn’t want to pick it up. Because if she picked it up, she would have to look at her calendar again, the thing that was the source of her current panic and that she had killed the screen to avoid.
It was really the phone’s fault, her current predicament. She and Drake had upgraded their phones about 6 weeks earlier, and it seemed like her calendar notification settings hadn’t imported over. Apparently, she hadn’t really used the calendar at all over that time. Until today, that is, when she had downloaded the syllabi for her course load and gone to add key dates for the semester. That was when she had realized she had missed her window for her depo injection by just over three weeks.
This was bad. She was too old to be this careless about birth control. She had just paid her tuition for this semester’s classes. She’d cut back to part time at the bar. Drake’s job paid okay, but this was absolutely not a good time for them. But she also felt weird even thinking about ending a pregnancy when she and Drake had recently had the “kid talk” and said they want children in the future. He wasn’t some random one-night stand. She wasn’t seventeen anymore. Their relationship was in a good spot. Things felt stable. Why did she have to go and fuck all that up?
She didn’t know what to do, what to think, how to feel. Kids with Drake was a someday thing. A down the road a bit thing. Not a now thing. They hadn’t even been together a year, and she might be pregnant. All because she forgot to go in for her depo. They’d been essentially trying for three weeks without even knowing. And because she hadn’t had a period for the past few months on the depo, she didn’t even know how to judge if she was late or anything.
Trying to calm herself down, she sat up, leaning forward and hugging her knees. Even in her panic, she was able to recognize that part of her dread came from the fear of the unknown. That much, at least, she could take care of. So she grabbed her purse and marched down the stairs, outside and over to the little drug store a block over. She grabbed the first pregnancy test she saw, paid for it, and went back home, ready to do what needed to be done. But she couldn’t. She just stood in front of the mirror, staring at herself, trying to will herself to just pee on the goddamn stick. But she felt locked and frozen, unable to take that final step.
She didn’t know how long she stood in the bathroom, but eventually, she heard the front door unlock and Anderson’s tags jangling as his little feet pattered across the floor. Drake was home. And she should probably tell him what was going on.
“Hey, Liu!” he called out, “What do you want for dinner? I was thinking maybe…” but he trailed off when he saw the look on her face as she walked down the hallway and joined him in the kitchen. “What’s wrong?”
“Drake, I…” she paused, taking a deep breath before she continued, “I forgot to schedule an appointment with my OBGYN.”
“Okay…”
“For my depo injection.”
“Oh.” Drake nodded slowly, like doing so would help him process the information.
“And I was supposed to get one over three weeks ago.”
Drake kept nodding slowly. “Okay… so you’re saying that?”
“That I very well could be pregnant, Drake. And it’s freaking me out.”
Drake just kept nodding, like he was a fucking bobblehead doll or something. It was annoying the shit out of her.
“Don’t you have any thoughts on this?” she ground out, frustrated at… well basically everything. Drake. Herself. That they were even having to deal with this at all.
“I think… you should take a pregnancy test before we do anything else. Do you want me to go pick one up?” His voice was calm and steady, but it felt like he hadn’t really processed, almost as if he had no reaction to the fact that she could be pregnant with his kid.
Riley wanted to scream and shake his shoulders. It was like she’d told a robot she could be pregnant. “I already went and bought one.”
“Okay, well then I think you should take it.”
“How are you so fucking calm about this?”
Drake just stood there for a second before giving her a little shrug. “I don’t know. I mean, it could be worse, right?”
“How could it be worse? We live in a one bedroom apartment in a mad expensive city where we just paid a bunch of money for my tuition and you work as a temp and I’m a fucking bartender and-”
“Shhhh, Riley. Come here,” Drake said, stepping forward and wrapping his arms around her. “First of all, we don’t even know if you’re pregnant. Second of all, I guess I don’t see it as that big-”
“Oh, that’s easy for you to say! It’s not you that might be pregnant!”
“Yeah, but this would be our kid. I guess I just feel like we could handle it, you know?”
“A kid is a huge fucking deal, Drake! Pregnancy is a huge fucking deal before the kid even gets here! And I get that for the guy it doesn’t seem like it. And you can act like it’s no big deal and we’ll just figure it out, but that’s because you aren’t facing the reality that you might have a baby growing inside you that you were not planning on. So, don’t you dare try and minimize this, Drake Walker.”
Part of her knew she wasn’t being fair to Drake. She’d been processing this possibility all afternoon. She’d just unloaded on him and expected him to react the same way she did. But a big part of her was just frustrated that he didn’t seem as worried or scared as her. Regardless of her storm of emotions though, her little rant somehow focused her. Taking a deep breath, she turned around and headed back toward the bathroom. She might as well get this over with.
“Riley, wait! Can’t we talk about this?” Drake called out. She spun to face him, throwing her hands in the air.
“I have to go pee on a fucking stick. And according to you, there’s nothing to discuss until I do that.”
Marching into the bathroom and slamming the door, she let out a deep breath as she scanned the instructions on the little purple box she’d left on the counter. It made it sound so fucking simple, like this wasn’t mad terrifying. She popped open the box, and pulled out a thin piece of white plastic. How could something so tiny be so fucking intimidating?
Somehow, she kept her hand steady as she did what she needed to do, setting the little stick on the side of the sink before she washed her hands. She let out one last sigh before opening the door and leaving the bathroom, setting the timer on her phone for five minutes as she walked back towards their kitchen and living room. She found Drake sitting at the table, hands lightly tapping in his lap as he glanced around the room. When he noticed her approaching, he seemed to hold his breath for just a moment. Eventually, he broke the silence as she sat down in her usual chair.
“So, did you…?”
“Pee correctly? Yes, Drake. I managed to do that.”
He didn’t acknowledge her sarcasm, instead he just nodded twice before he asked, “How long do we have to wait?”
“Five minutes,” Riley responded, waving her phone in the air before setting it down on the table.
“Look, I’m sorry, Riley. I didn’t mean to make you think this isn’t a big deal to me. Because it is. All I was trying to say is that I think we can get through whatever happens here together.”
Riley nodded, but didn’t say anything. Deep down, she knew that was what he’d been trying to convey. But at the same time, she was freaking out. An unplanned pregnancy was just different for her, the person whose body would have to go through all the changes, than for him. “I know, Drake. And I know I just kind of dumped all my stress onto you and didn’t really give you any time to think or react.”
They were both silent for a few moments before Drake leaned over towards her. “No matter what it shows, you know I’m not going anywhere, don’t you?” he asked, reaching for her hand across the table. “We’ll be alright. We’ll figure it out. I can get a second job on nights and weekends if we need more money. And we probably won’t need a bigger place for a year or two. We can just shove this table against the wall by the kitchen, and then we can fit in a crib and a changing table, so we’d be set there for a while, and I know next semester might not be doable for you, depending when you’re due, but we’ll just have to see, right?”
“Drake…” Riley said, but he was just rambling off plans now, seemingly oblivious to her interruption.
“I know it’s a little earlier than expected, but this was always the plan, right? I mean, we talked a while back, and you said you saw us getting married and having kids. So what if it’s a little quicker than we thought? It’ll be fine. And I know there’s a lot to think about, but I figure we can still have a nice, little wedding. Unless you want some big, fancy wedding. If you do, that’s fine, we are just gonna have to start-”
“Woah, what the fuck are you talking about?” Riley finally said, squeezing his wrist tightly to interrupt his ramble.
“I’m just trying to figure some stuff out for us, you know?”
“Like our wedding?”
A faint blush crept onto Drake’s cheeks, but it didn’t stop him. “Well… yeah? I mean, obviously I want you to-”
“Drake, are you kidding me?”
“No, I’m serious. We can get married and-”
“No!” she called out, cutting him off before he could start rambling again.
“What?”
“Well, for one, you haven’t asked me yet!”
Drake winced at that but nodded and let out a little sigh, “You’re right. Sorry… just, lots of thoughts… but I should’ve… Shit, what I mean is… Riley, will you marry me?”
Riley was sure her eyes had never been wider than they were as she stared across the table. After a few seconds, she finally felt able to speak. “You did not just propose to me because I might be pregnant.”
“It’s not just because you might be pregnant,” Drake muttered, rubbing his hand along the back of his neck.
“Bullshit, Drake! Are you telling me that you planned on asking me to marry you when you got off work today?”
“No, of course not, but-”
“Then this,” she said, gesturing her hand back and forth between the two of them, “is all because you feel fucking obligated to propose. And I may not be big on over the top romance, Drake, but the thought of a man asking me to marry him out of a sense of duty is so not okay. I am not some fucking burden to be dealt with.”
“Hey! I never said that-”
“Drake, simply proposing because you feel like you are supposed to is mad insulting. Proposals should come when someone is sure they’re ready to commit to the rest of their lives with that one person. Not because they feel bad they might have knocked someone up.”
Drake swallowed roughly, and nodded at that. He didn’t say anything for a few tense moments, but then he stood up abruptly, shoving his chair back and stalking down the little hallway.
“Drake?” Riley called out, but all she got in response was a muffled “Just gimme a minute” from the bedroom. She glanced down at her phone, checking the timer.
“We only have a minute,” she muttered, shifting around in her chair. But a few moments later, Drake was striding back out towards her, one hand dragging through his hair, the other clutching something tightly in his fist.
“I didn’t ask you to marry me because I felt like I had to,” he growled out, dropping down on one knee next to her chair, “And I didn’t ask you because you might be pregnant. I asked you because I love you and I can’t picture my life without your teasing or swearing or jokes. Because I love that everything is a competition with you, and that you are a crazy sore loser and even worse winner. Because I love the way your eyes always show what you’re really thinking, whether you’re angry or protective or caring, not that they need to, because you have no problem telling me exactly what you think. And because for some strange reason, you seem to get me, and that makes me so fucking lucky.
“It’s not that I thought, ‘Oh, if she’s pregnant, I guess we better get married,’ but that I thought, ‘Why aren’t we married?’ Because whether it happens tomorrow or ten years from now, I know I want you to be the mother of my children. So yeah, maybe the timing is shit, and I know I’ve done this all wrong, but you were wrong too. Because I am ready to spend the rest of my life with you. I’ve been committed to that for a long time. And right now, I realized there is no good reason to wait. I don’t want to wait. So that’s why I asked you.”
He let out a couple of heavy breaths, just staring at her expectantly. Riley reached forward and grabbed his hand with both of hers, giving it a little squeeze as she found her voice. “Drake…”
“Shit,” he said as he tugged his hand out of her grasp, uncurling his fist and revealing a green, satin box, “I was probably supposed to show this to you earlier, too.” And with that he flipped the box open, revealing a beautiful, vintage, diamond ring.
“Holy shit,” Riley whispered, trying to keep up with everything that was unfolding, “You have a ring.”
“Yeah, I have a ring. Riley, I have known you were it for me for so long. So, let me-”
“Yes.”
“What?”
“Yes, I’ll marry you.” And with that, Riley leaned forward, sliding her hands around his neck and kissing him deeply. He responded passionately, tangling his fingers into her hair, but after a few seconds, a beeping noise interrupted them. Her phone alarm was chirping.
She turned slightly to silence her phone before facing Drake again, watching as he took her left hand off her lap and tugged it forward. She glanced up and found him staring at her, eyebrows raised, so she smiled and nodded. He grinned back at her before he slid the ring onto her finger. She felt like they had so many things to talk about, so many questions that needed to be asked and answered, but right now, there was one very pressing question with an answer waiting for them in the bathroom.
“Come on, Liu,” Drake said as he stood, tugging her to her feet with him, “It’ll be okay, no matter what. I promise.” So they walked hand in hand into the bathroom and looked at the piece of white plastic she’d left on the side of the sink. The piece of plastic that would shape their future.
“Two lines… does that mean…”
Riley shook her head, staring at the box. “No, that one is just the control. It’s only one line.”
“So, you’re not…”
“I’m not pregnant,” she said, feeling a rush of relief wash over her as she tugged Drake into a hug, “Thank God!”
It was like sheets of stress and panic were falling off her by the second, and she even let out a little chuckle of relief as she clung to Drake’s shoulders. Drake didn’t say anything, just loosely looping his arms around her waist to return the hug. When she pulled back after a moment, she saw just a hint of regret and sadness in his eyes.
“Drake, what is it?”
He just shook his head, “I don’t know. It’s just… a lot, I guess.”
She nodded, sliding her right hand forward to cup his cheek as she waved her left in front of his face. “Not second guessing this, I hope?”
He smiled warmly at her at that, clasping her hand against his cheek and tugging her hips flush against his, “No fucking way, Liu.”
“Good,” was all she said, before his lips were on hers.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Riley had always wished she could find something in common with Savannah. She knew Drake wished that they were great friends, but the truth was they just were very different women. It’s not that Riley disliked Savannah, not really at least, but they almost never had anything to talk about. But now it seemed like they both had proposals triggered by pregnancy scares. It was a weird ass thing to share.
Except, they really weren’t all that similar. Savannah was not only actually pregnant, but she lived a life where the optics of it were far from ideal. If Riley had been pregnant back then, it would have been a lot to handle, but at the end of the day, Drake had been right. It would not have been a big deal. No one in New York would care if she and Drake, a committed couple who lived together, had a baby out of wedlock.
But for Savannah, it was different. Dukes weren’t supposed to live in sin. They certainly weren’t supposed to knock up the same woman twice, once as a one-night stand, once as a girlfriend. And as stupid as Riley found it, she knew that Savannah’s ramblings did express a very warranted fear. She and Bertrand could easily find themselves on the outside of their social group for this. Or rather, Savannah could. Bertrand might face some snide comments, but at the end of the day he was a man and he was one of them. Savannah had neither of those advantages. And while Riley and Drake had left that whole world behind for a lot of reasons, the fact remained that Savannah didn’t want to have to give that life up.
Lost in her thoughts, both her memories of her own proposal and her sympathy for Savannah, she was only half-listening to Drake and Savannah’s conversation, but when she heard her name and Drake’s tone turn suddenly angry, she snapped her head over, attempting to figure out what she’d missed.
“...Riley and I are getting married then! That’s our fucking wedding day, Sav. What the actual fuck are-”
“I know, Drake! If there was any other time that-”
“I’m not asking Riley that, Savannah. It’s not happening. You’re the one who wants a last minute wedding, you pick out a different day!”
“The Social Season already has events set for the next two months. The only exception is June 8th.”
“Yeah, because Liam blocked that weekend so he could come to our wedding! You’re just going to have to wait a couple of months.”
“I just want it to be believable that this is a honeymoon baby. People are already going to suspect, Drake. But if we just have a civil ceremony with none of court in attendance, people will know for sure.”
“Again, who the fuck cares?” Drake was clearly agitated now, pacing the kitchen and gesturing wildly.
“Bertrand’s a duke. We have to keep up appearances, at least a little. You don’t have to like it to know it’s true.”
Drake dragged a hand through his hair and let out a massive sigh, “What am I supposed to do here, Savannah? You realized this is an insane ask, right? I’m getting married in four weeks.”
“I know. If I could think of any other solution, I would. Just, talk to Riley about this, please? All I’m asking is that you two talk about it, okay?”
“Fine, Sav. But this is so out of line.”
“I know, I know.”
Drake ended the call without even saying goodbye to his sister. He slapped his hand over his eyes and let out a little growl.
“Soooooo,” started Riley, “Savannah and Bertrand are having another baby?”
He dropped his hand down and looked at her, just shaking his head. “I’m sorry you had to hear that. But you don’t need to worry about it. I’ll figure out how to tell Savannah she can’t just have our wedding weekend. How was your exam?”
“Fine, but Drake, we need to talk about your sister.”
“No, this is your day. You don’t need to worry about her drama. We’re celebrating you being a college graduate, and that’s all we need to do tonight.”
Riley shook her head, “Celebrating can wait a half hour while we figure this out.”
Drake gave her a frown and came to join her at the table. “What’s to figure out?”
“Drake, she’s pregnant, hormonal, and scared that she’s about to become a social pariah.”
“Yeah, but that’s not… I wouldn’t ask you to do what she’s asking. I wouldn’t expect you to postpone the wedding for that.”
She tilted her head forward, reaching out and grabbing his hand before she continued, “If this was just your event, if I wasn’t involved, you would agree wouldn’t you?”
“Well, yeah. But it’s not just my event.”
Riley stared at Drake for a few moments, running things through in her head. “How are you going to enjoy our wedding, knowing that it’s going to strain things between you and Savannah?”
“That’s the thing - it shouldn’t strain things between us. She’s being unreasonable here. We wouldn’t be doing anything wrong to get married as planned.”
“Oh, I completely agree. Savannah never should have called to ask you this. But the fact is that she did. And I don’t think you’re going to be able to just act like she didn’t.”
Drake sagged forward, propping one elbow on the table and catching his head with that hand as he squeezed her hand with his other. “I know I should just tell her ‘Hell no,” so that’s what I’m going to do. It’ll suck for a while, but she’ll get over it.”
Riley looked at Drake, trying so hard to steel himself, bracing to disappoint his baby sister. And a large part of her wanted him to do just that. Draw a clear line in the sand when it came to this. He already let her get away with so much. But a bigger part of her just felt for the woman that was going to be her family soon, who just felt scared and alone and was pregnant when she didn’t expect to be. And the biggest part of her just didn’t want Drake to be in this position, where he felt like he had to choose between her and his sister, even if his sister was mad out of line here.
“Drake, I think we should postpone our wedding.”
His head jerked up at that, fear and anxiety clear across his wrinkled brow and deep frown. Riley stood up and climbed into his lap, wrapping her arms around him and stroking the back of the neck and she worked to undo the worry and fears she knew her statement unleashed.
“And you know this has nothing to do with you or us or the way I feel about you. But you are a protector when it comes to those you love. And right now, you are trying to protect me from seeing how much you wish you could help your sister. And I appreciate that, but I know you, and if we get married on June 8th, I know that you are going to stew and feel guilty the entire time, even if you know you shouldn’t. And that’s not how our wedding should be.”
“Riley, I....” he sighed into her neck as his hands clutched at her waist. He didn’t say anything else, and Riley knew he was trying to find a way to contradict her. But he wasn’t going to be able to do that.
“It’s okay, Drake. I will be thrilled on our wedding day whether it’s in four weeks, four months, or four years. But your sister chose to be a part of a world that will judge her heavily if she gets married in four months or four years. We can help her by giving her the chance to get married in four weeks, and I don’t mind doing that, alright?”
Drake tipped his head back, sliding his hand up to comb through her hair. “I don’t know what to say, Riley.”
She leaned over and kissed his forehead. “Call your sister. Tell her she better start planning a wedding.”
“We’re going to lose a bunch of deposits.”
“I know. We’ll save up again. The benefit of a small, simple wedding is that it isn’t obscenely expensive.”
“I would never ask you to do this, Liu.”
“I know, because you take care of everyone whenever you can. But that mean you also want to take care of your sister, and I love that about you. So, let me take care of you here. This is my call. We are postponing.”
Drake crushed her against his chest as he hugged her tightly. Riley knew he was trying to convey a lot of things with his embrace that he couldn’t quite put into words. It just cemented her decision in her mind as the right call. As much as it would suck to postpone, starting out their marriage by making Drake do something that would hurt his sister was not the way to go about things. It didn’t matter that Savannah’s ask was way out of line. She and Drake could just afford to be flexible in ways that Savannah and Bertrand couldn’t.
“I love you,” Drake muttered into the skin of her shoulder before he loosened his grip on her, leaning back and looking up into her eyes, a clear mix of love, adoration, and regret present in his.
“I know. I love you, too. And I’ll love you whenever our time to get married comes.”
He kissed her gently. “It’ll be our time soon. I promise, Liu.”
Riley smiled, climbing off his lap and tugging him up after her, leading him by the hand into the kitchen, eager to get on with celebrating the end of her exams and to sample some of whatever Drake was in the midst of making. She wasn’t worried. They had a lifetime together. The when of their wedding didn’t matter as much as that fact.

hana and uo are too cute and so sweet. also uo is just carrying a fucking arrow lol like no bow just the arrow lol. and hana looks like a little russian doll lol.
yuki saying that tohru doesn’t experience the world like other people because of how she seems to handle everything so well like no yuki honey that’s how she personally deals with her trauma lol.
also kyo and yuki are so dumb, they would absolutely get along, they have the same opinions and react the same way to almost everything lol. they even say things at the same time like little psycho twins
yuki slapping shigure in the face with what looks like fried pickles but is definitely not lol, such a sassy boy
LOL shigure absolutely ships yuki and kyo this is the second time i think that’s he made a remark about them, they were worrying about tohru and he goes ‘will you two stop worrying like housewives worrying about their kids?’ lol
its funny that shigure asks hana if she came there purposely to convince them to stay with tohru as is his comment about the robber wasn’t trying to do the same damn thing lol
aw yuki and kyo love tohru so much, and this is the first time that they are sort of realizing that they don’t just need her help to heal but that she needs them as well
HARU IS HERE YASSSSSS ugh i love him
lol shigure loves watching akito crumble under their own manipulations
ugh the scene on the roof make my little heart happy. they are so grateful for tohru and she is so grateful for them and they just make me happy. they are really starting to realize what an impact she’s made on them and they are finally realizing that she needs them too.
i love this episode a lot. they care so much for each other and they are all sweet little babies. i just want them all to be happy lol

Out of Australia, into the fire
Based on an in game RP with @aripan12 and @syalin-deerfox (Original prompt from Two Junkers and a D.Va which can be read here)
Edit: Both Ari and Zayne wrote their own versions of this promt as well.
If you want heavy Roadrat, read Zayne’s version HERE
If you want an almost exact one-to-one of the actual roleplay + Bloopers read Ari’s version HERE
Now, on to my take:
In which Roadhog impulsively cares for a war child
Mako “Roadhog” Rutledge huffed as he looked over his empty fridge shelves for the third time in the last hour. No matter how many glances he spared, the ice box remained empty.
The large man gave another huff as he closed the fridge door, lifting himself up straight before heading out of the large barn he called a home.
“Rat.” He spoke in the general direction of a small, one room trailer.
Jamison “Junkrat” Fawkes poked his head out of one of the three holes in the small buildings walls, two of which he swore were made for better lighting. The third of which was an accident.
“Hoggie! Just in time I was about to test-”
“We’re out of food. I’m heading into Junker town. Stay here.” Roadhog cut his boss off, already starting the slow walk to the scrap city.
“Whot??? Wait, mate, lemme come too! I need some shit and-” Both the junker’s momentum from leaping out of his work shed and sentence were cut off by a large hand easily catching him by the tire on his back.
“Stay.” Mako said flatly, setting the smaller back down in his work station.
Junkrat whined and swayed like a blade of grass in the wind, “But Roooooooadie”
His complaints weren’t met with a response as the older Junker again began to walk away, leaving Junkrat unsupervised.
______ ______ ______ ______
The large door of Junkertown was just as locked as it was the last time Mako approached. He’d always hated how hard the queen tried to make the pile of scrap seem like a real city. It wasn’t. It never would be.
“Let me in already!” A squeaky voice thick with an accent not native to the island screeched along side the banging of metal, “Please!! I just need to get home!”
Mako paused for a moment at the small girl standing at Junkertown’s door, banging away and begging for entry. Her clothes were bright pink, a color Mako hadn’t seen in a long time, and seemed almost completely clean. Her hair was long and shiny, almost freshly washed. She was small, thin, but healthy. As if all of this wasn’t enough, the sound of her voice made it absolutely, positively clear she was not a native to the savage wastelands of Australia.
Still. She was in the way.
Roadhog threw his hook, safely wrapping it around the girls waste to pull her away from the door. She yelped, and stumbled by his side before fear ran cold across her face. Mako spared her a glance before knocking at the Junkertown door three times with his hook.
“Rutledge?” The guard of the door spat from his lookout point, “You sure are brave to be showin’ your masked face around here again mate. Better now be armed, we got orders to shoot you on sight.”
These threats meant nothing to Roadhog. He simply waited for the gate to open silently before he strolled in, latching his hook to his belt.
“W...Wait!” The girl from before shouted once she finally snapped from her fear induced daze, quickly chasing after the lumbering man.
Mako, again, barely spared the girl a glance, though slowed down slightly to allow her to walk along side him, hoping to block her bright outfit from the onlooking eye of the local thugs.
“M-My name is Hana Song. I was kidnapped from Busan, South Korea, and dropped here. I-I’m not sure where here... is... D-Do you have a phone I could barrow? Please?” She asked, gripping the bottom of her shirt in desperation.
Roadhog glanced at the local shops before walking into an old convenient store, now with nothing more than rusted canned items and whatever animal was found in rummaging in the trash that morning.
“N...No?” Hana half whimpered, continuing to follow him. She watched his movements was they wandered the mostly empty lanes before starting again, “I-I can pay for the distance call! I-I c-can pay reward money! S-Something for your trouble, please! M-My team- M-My country needs me! I-I can pay-”
Mako handed the girl a can of corn. She stared at it, then glanced up at him, clearly confused as she took it.
Luckily, the confusion was enough to shut her up on the money nonsense as the finished shopping. It wasn’t a lot, but it’d be enough for a last meal on this irradiated rock.
On the way out of Junker town, Hana piped up again, “Does... th-this mean you’re going to help me...?” She asked meekly.
A large hand gently pat at Hana’s hair as they stepped out of the scrap city of Junkertown. Hana flinched for a moment at the contact, only realizing at the third pat it was meant to be comforting.
She smiled, “Thankyou.” slipped from her mouth barely above a whisper as they walked away from Junkertown.
______ ______ ______ ______
“Roadie! You’re finally back, what’d ya get I’m STARVIN’!” Junkrat came bounding from his shed as soon as Roadhog came into view.
The larger Junker didn’t acknowledge the smaller as he simply continued to the barn. Junkrat did the same to Hana, who followed the two closely.
“So! While you were gone I was thinkin’ of ways to get back at the queen and I’ve finally got the perfect plan! Wanna hear it?? Of course you do! So-”
“This is Hana.” Mako spoke up, cutting the smaller off as he drew his attention to Hana Song, “We’re taking her to South Korea.”
Junkrat blinked down at the bring pink stick before him. He stared, unblinking, for almost a solid two minutes.
“South Kor-ee-a?” He repeated, incredibly incorrect of course, “Where in the bloody blue blazes is that?”
“Far.” Mako spoke bluntly, putting his assorts groceries on his make-shift table for now, “Pack what you need. We’re leaving tonight.”
“T-Tonight? Mate what- Don’t you walk away from me!” Junkrat snapped as Roadhog began to leave the barn.
Mako glanced back at Hana, standing awkwardly in the center of the room, “Stay.” He spoke, then continued out, Junkrat shouting behind him.
______ ______ ______ ______
“What about our plans to get back at the queen?! What about our 50/50 split treasure? You wanna just lug that with us?!” Junkrat huffed and hollered all the way back to Junkertown.
Mako continued to ignore him, making sure the smaller was behind him when they approached the gate, easly hiding Junkrat behind his larger form.
“Twice in one day, Rutledge? Ya forget somethin’?” The guardsman laughed as the gate opened.
“I’ve never even heard of no South Kor-ee-a! What makes ya so sure it’s even a real place and that shiela ain’t just one of the queen’s goons sent to whack us, huh?! Ya even left her alone in our place!”
“Mako? Well this is a surprise?” Junkrat’s complaints cut off with the introduction of a new voice, raspy and weary with age. He’d been ranting so long, Junkrat hadn’t even noticed he and Mako walked into one of Junkertown’s many scrap shops.
“Here for the usual?” A short, chubby man with a scruffy white beard asked, taking a large cigar from his mouth.
“I need a boat. With a moter, and enough oil to get it to Asia.” Mako spoke.
“A boat?” The short scrapper asked, scratching his chin, “That’s a tall order. The Queen ain’t very fond of boats she don’t own.”
Junkrat sized up the man before them, rationalizing if he was going to give Roadhog a hard time, and if he’d have to step in to get whatever Roadie was after.
“The moter’s the easy part, I’ve been working on one myself...” The man gave a gentle kick to a scrapped together engine he’d been working on when they walked in, “The fuel I’ve almost got too, but the actual boat...”
“Please, Bruce.” The word was so foreign, Mako certainly hadn’t used it in over 20 years, and he’d doubt the younger generation in this country even knew what the word means.
Bruce paused, giving another scratch to his chin... A deep sigh left his mouth, “Alright. I’ll get something together and have it at Lagoon Pier by 3am tonight.”
Roadhog gruffed a thankyou, placed a hand on Junkrat’s head, and lead him from the shop, back to Junkertown’s gate.
“...We’re really leavin’?” Junkrat asked as they left the scrapped together city he one called home, “Are we... gonna come back?”
Roadhog didn’t speak. He stared ahead blankly at the wasteland he created, a hand resting on Junkrat’s head.
They walked home in silence.
______ ______ ______ ______
The short, hastily put together plan was explained to Hana by Junkrat over a scrapped together final meal. They then packed up anything essential into Roadhog’s bike, and headed out across the country.
Hana had long sense passed out in the side car, tightly hugging Mako’s pachimari doll as she rested. Junkrat has also, supposedly, passed out behind Roadhog on the bike.
As the two slept, Mako took a moment to park along side a cliff and stare out at the desert.
He thought about how 20 or so years ago, this place was just like the world Hana had described to them. How he’d spend his days playing video games on his phone just like her, or how he could spend hours weaving brightly colored flowers into crowns.
20 years ago they were just like every other place in the world.
What... happened?
Mako’s grip on his handle bars tightened.
ALF happened.
HE happened.
For a moment, Mako considered turning around. Driving back to his scrapped old barn on his wasted little farm with the small grave marked only with a dusty little bolder and a few dead flowers.
It wouldn’t be fair for him to leave. He broke the world, he deserves to rot in it. He deserves to sit on this little irradiated rock and slowly die of whatever the world wants to throw at him.
“Roadie..?” A yawn broke Roadhog of his thoughts as Junkrat lifted himself up some, hanging over the larger man’s shoulder, “Why’d we stop? Ya gotta piss?” The younger Junker rubbed at his eye, nuzzling into Mako’s neck from grogginess.
Roadhog released his grip on his handle bars. For a moment his mind wondered where Jamie could be had the Omnium not exploded.
Would he be a child soldier, like Hana? Willing to give his life for a county so quick to throw away it’s citizens? Fighting a war at such a young age...
“Roadie?” Junkrat asked, a bit more awake, “Ya alright? Ya got that sad look on yer face...”
Roadhog glanced to Junkrat. The smaller look concerned.
Mako squished Jamie’s cheeks in his hand, “Sit down. I can’t drive with you standin’ up like that.” He scolded. Jamison whined in his hold, patting weakly at Mako’s shoulders until he was released, allowing him to fall back onto his seat.
Roadhog chuckled before starting the bike again. There’s no point in turning back.
He hadn’t destroyed the world.
At least
Not yet.

What are some blogs that you consider part of your rp family?
> Aww anon this is a really cool question. Well I have a particular group of people that are pretty much my always follow. I know people do those follower forever but I haven’t done any before. I get overwhelmed as it is with the amount of people who follow me but some blogs that I will never not be following are:
@coffee-and-guns @theyearningtofly Uh hello. Have you seen the babes Lotus and Asuka? Feli has some dolls right here and I stan them to death. They don’t get the interaction or attention they deserve and I will fight until they do. Lotus is 60′s pre-tumblr babe. I’m talking OTP from the onset. He literally will destroy the city of Detroit for her. He will go to hell and back for her. It’s amazing how much this ship has taken over my life but our crazy amount of verses and aus is very telling. We have a ton of plot. Lotixty reigns supreme. And Asuka is my Connor’s waifu as well as Callum’s wife. Best babe.  @diivinerose Daniela is not just one beautiful muse. She is so diverse in her three verses that she is pretty much a multi. Curly is my chaos doll but also a shy bean with such great ideas. Our aus are another wild treasure trove. Each verse has something favorite in it. Each rendition I love and DD60 considers Main D his true love. Mad D is the other half of the toxicity known as Corla with my boy Corvus. The ship of Main D and Connor was a surprise in the beginning. I didn’t expect it but I’m glad it happened. Cause I just love her clinical coolness against this supposed cool machine who has more emotion than he should now as a deviant. Best Babe.  @stayhuman-genevieve @leaderawakened @pathdiverted Gen is amazing. Markus is tops. 52 is a babe. OK but also Amanda, Louis, Anarchy the list goes on. All of these muses are amazing and it’s just such a privilege to write with such a wonderfully developed original in Genevieve. She is 60′s weak spot. The ruthless one gave up Cyberlife for Gen. That takes some doing. But they have a ton of shit they went through including a terrorist takeover by that aforementioned Anarchy. We have such great plot ideas and I can’t get enough of them. Main Connor and Markus for my gal too. Main Markus all around. I love him damn it. Genevieve is also my Connor’s waifu. DD60 on the other hand.... just don’t let him alone with Corrupted Gen. OTP status right here. Best Babe.
@dcwnxism @soulxism @lethalxarsenal @wintcrcoded @resentfuldrcgon OK but here the list goes on as well. All of these muses canon and original are just amazing. Iron is the queen of angst. Hands down the best at making me cry. One of these days I’m gonna get her back for all the pain. lol Not only is Nines (now known as Cassius) my canon RK900 but my 60′s exclusive 900 bro. That took some doing let me say. Aiden is 60′s soulmate. Sixden is a ship I never expected but it snuck up on me. I love him. I love Lexi so much. She needs more attention. The one Gavin my Connor will put up with.... as an enemy of course. Oh and WuXian? Caleb loves him already. They will shine bright. Best Babe.
@creatorofclay
Did somebody ask for the only Kamski of my life? Well look no further than Kam/Ash/Clay right here not only making me appreciate Elijah but turning me to liking him as a character. I didn’t think much of him when I played the game. But let me tell you waifu right here writes him with such humanity (even when he’s being an ass) that gives such a new perspective. 60 is still on that creator nonsense but it’s in the demon au where he gets to shine with his affection or rather verbal brawls effectively with Elijah. My exclusive Kamski. Don’t @ me. Best Babe.
@rk800isalive @imabittercoffee
Waifu spotted! My platonic soulmate right here. Eme is someone who gave me a wonderful springboard for Sixty to get his hate on with Connor. That hate took a turn I never expected early on. These two wound up getting over their altercation at the tower. They wound up becoming siblings. The only Connor that 60 considers a brother in his main verse. Let me say the work up for this was some good old work. We wrote so many things with them and still do. I adore their human au. Let’s not forget Sierra. I love this bitch. She’s such a contrast to Caleb but man I’m digging it. Also she is the unofficial goth wife of Corvus but you’ll never hear it from him. Or...will you? thinksmirk Best Babe.
@et-liliium @musesdivine
My baby Cherry has wonderful original dolls and I still miss them. BUT I’m super excited to see Lily on her own blog and my babe slowly getting back into the fandom. Sixty is looking to corrupt that sweet flower but it’s Connor that is absolutely in awe of her. He is in love. Let’s not forget Lily being the good to Corvus’ bad. We got some good shit planned for them. She’s the android Suzanne pretty much ;) Seriously check out these wonderful female muses. They are amazing and deserve all the love in the world. Best Babe.
@robobiitch
Let me throw some love on Moe right here. Yall wanna see full on enemies with Sixty? Look no further but man we have some good ass plot with assassin au with a little dose of angst. Lust already hates/loves his brother-in-law in the other demon verse. The shenanigans are bound for some good shit. A wonderful Connor and that’s the bottom line cause ruthless sixty said so. Literally such a fun and cool person. I love plotting and just hanging. Best Babe.
@anderson-residence
Have you seen these muses? I love every single one and Alley always has something in my inbox that either makes me laugh or worry. lol Sending YK to Corvus is probably not the best idea but I love it. I love chatting about aus, plots and everything in between. Each muse is one I enjoy seeing and I really want to interact more with all of them. Sixty just wants to push Hank’s buttons and probably wants to kill Connor but.... lol Best Babe.
@rxseguided @repliicantceo
A literal bab right here. Jesse, Eli and Elliot are all originals that bring so much more to the plate. If you haven’t seen Jesse in action what are you doing? The evil bitch’s daughter herself? Well then sign me up. Cupcake is a doll and her muses are chef kiss. Got it? Good. Lust loves his angel mom but DD is also in love. ;) Elliot is legit one of Corvus’ official cronies. That’s an honor in the worst way possible. Gotta love that human sk verse with Corvesse. Best Babe.
@triptocained @syntheticisolation
Let me tell you all a story about a fed drenched in heavy rain..... No this isn’t a pun. I swear but Norman is literally a highlight and I’m looking forward to that enemies shit with Sixty. Bringing Jayden into the DBH universe is the best damn thing to happen. Danny brings him to life perfectly. I haven’t seen anybody else do this much justice. Norman is yours alone and deserves all the attention. Also let’s not forget Richard. Look I love this knife happy bastard. 60 still wants to show off Monica but he can wait as long as it takes. Always a pleasure to see on my dash. I’m in love. Best Babe.
@fearlessandchaotic
Original babes need more love and Hana his no different. Ely has such development and constant shenanigans I love to see on my dash. It’s always wonderful to see but also Sixty is over the moon for Hana. He hates to admit it but the best thing was coming back to his fiery fox. These two have such chemistry with their ruthless selves they’d sit around and poke fun at people instead of working on a case. Seriously go give the female muses their due love damn it.  Best Babe.
@vexeddetective
Vex is a precious babe that I adore the hell out of. Sixvin is here fam. Sixty likes to push Gavin’s buttons. We all know how that shit goes down. I will legit protec this babe. Not Gavin tho. He can fight his own battles and most likely end up wrestling with Sixty. That might end up messy good. Also Lucifer.... whenever he pops up my gal Jade is just: well he’s tall and scary. She probably secretly has a soft spot for him. We’ll have to find out. Please go follow for these two muses. You know you want to bishes. Best Babe.
@swat-cptn-allen @det-gavin-reed
My canon Allen right here. There is no one else who puts this much love into this muse. Webby is a literal precious bean. Sixty loves and hates Joseph. DD is definitely sof for him. Let that sof boy show his dom ;) I love the way Allen is given more development and his own unique persona from the little we see in game. I never imagined liking this character that much but Webby certainly has made me a fan of him. Please go give my canon Allen some love! Best Babe.
@ambitiouslyruthless @fragmented-personage
Goov is a babe. I have followed them for a while now and Vius was always a unique bab to see on my dash. Sixty still wants to pounce on him. Results may vary into ruthless territory BUT let him love on this original muse. He deserves more attention and love. Let him be that bastard to Gavin. Such a unique portrayal of Gavin that is totally one of my faves to see. I’m excited for the werewolf/vamp thread. Also can’t wait to see what happens with them in their main verses. Best Babe.
@thirum-stained
Always a delight on my dash and one of the earliest people to give my blog here a chance. Luna is a doll who has so many amazing muses and not just in the DBH fandom. Vanessa is Sixty’s waifu. She snuck up on him by surprise. He never imagined to fall in love but he sure did here. I adore all of the muses you tackle. I want to interact more with all of them. They’re forever follows on my dash for a reason. Best Babe.
@theveryfirst
This is my one and only Chloe. My literal canon babe. No one else compares and Heather is an all around sweetheart with amazing ideas. The plotting is always something I look forward to as well as just being able to chat. One of the earliest to follow me and still going strong on that forever follow list. Sixty adores Chloe. He feels for her more than he’d ever realize. Until he does. Corvus is still waiting to gets his hands on this angelic android. Best Babe.
> There are so many of you who follow that are so talented. It’s near impossible to give love to you all but there are some new babes who just followed that I’m looking forward to writing with. <3

the hero of the story [drake walker; a lily one shot]
Tumblr media
Last year, one of my first fics focused on this kind of story but I deleted it because I thought it was rubbish. I’ve since re-written it and I hope it’s better! Quite short, some Lily fluff.

********************************************
Lily came home from school far from her usual self. The energy that infused her every fibre seemed to have been drained and she wasn’t smiling or bouncing with joy that she was home. Instead, she let her father, Drake, cuddle her before traipsing upstairs to her room to play with her dolls.
At dinner, she played with her food and ignored her baby sister, Luna, who was desperate for her attention. Her mother, Camille, tried to talk to her but Lily wouldn’t speak. Drake made awful dad jokes in a bid to make her smile but to no avail.
When it was time for bed, Lily went upstairs without complaint. She burrowed under her duvet, holding her teddy bear tightly, the night light casting a blue glow through the room. She heard the bedroom door open and she had to convince herself it wasn’t a monster; no, the monster lived under her bed and he was sleeping at the moment.
‘Baby?’
It was Camille.
Camille sat down on the edge of the bed. ‘My bed bug has to be somewhere..’ she mused. ‘Hmm.. let me search.. Where is my little bed bug Lily?’
Lily stayed silent.
‘Baby, what’s wong?’ Camille asked gently. ‘What’s bothering you?’
Lily sighed and pulled the covers away from her face so she could look at her mother. ‘Miss Henderson told me that daddy nearly died!’
Camille’s eyes widened. ‘She said what?!’
Tears poured down Lily’s face as she finally admitted what was bothering her. Camille listened in horror as her six year old daughter told her that today in class, they had a small history lesson about Cordonia. Apparently, Miss Henderson thought it would be nice for the class to find out that Lily’s father had been shot during an assassination attempt. Definitely not appropriate for school kids and absolutely not appropriate for Lily; Drake and Camille had kept their past a secret from their daughter. They hadn’t wanted her to get upset. They wanted to keep her life full of joy, happiness and most importantly, peace.
Camille realised that protecting their daughter hadn’t worked in this instance.
‘So daddy nearly died!’ Lily wailed, her bottom lip trembling. ‘I don’t want daddy to die!’
‘Shh, honey, it’s okay,’ Camille whispered, pulling her in for a cuddle. ‘Your daddy is okay, he’s still here-’
‘But he was in danger!’ Lily cried, clenching Camille’s sweater tightly. Camille held her little girl as her entire body shook, trying her best to keep her whole. She made a silent note to visit Miss Henderson tomorrow morning and complain. How dare she tell Lily about something so scary? Her job was to teach Lily about numbers, letters and life skills. She had overstepped. That wasn’t her responsibility. That wasn’t her job.
Camille knew she had a part to play in this too. She should have known something like this would happen; of course her little girl would find out about the assassination attempt one day. Camille just wished that she had prepared her. She had hoped to sit her and Luna down when they were older; she felt like that had now been taken from her.
Holding her daughter close, Camille made a decision. She would rewrite the narrative. She would tell Lily the truth but she would tell it in a way that Lily would understand and not have nightmares as a result. She would take ownership of the story.
‘Lily, baby, listen to me,’ Camille said gently. Lily looked at her mother and rubbed her eyes harshly.
‘What?’ she asked in a small voice.
‘I’m going to tell you what happened,’ Camille said. ‘And this is the story that is true. Okay?’
‘But daddy-’
‘Daddy is going to sit with us,’ Camille interrupted. Standing up, she moved to the bedroom door and called out for Drake to join them. He had been waiting at the foot of the stairs, ready to jump in to support his wife if necessary.
As soon as Drake entered the room, Lily’s shoulders dropped; relief spread over her face. The love that she and Drake had for each other was one that couldn’t be replicated. It was a deep, deep love. Lily adored her father; he was her favourite person in the world.
Drake wrapped Lily in cotton wool and treated her like precious cargo. His life was his daughters. He was a father, that was his job. Father and husband first, Duke second. Always.
‘Hey Little Lady,’ he murmured, giving her a smile. He shot Camille a look; he had overheard Lily. He was not happy with her teacher. Damn right he was going down to the school tomorrow with Camille to tell that bitch exactly what he thought.
Lily reached out for him. Drake scooped her up in his arms and settled back against the headboard with Lily curled up on his lap. He rested his chin on top of her head, twirling a little curl of her hair around his finger.
Camille sat cross legged on the bed and faced them. ‘Now, this is what happened, alright?’
**********************************
The kingdom of Cordonia was a peaceful and prosperous one. The old king, Constantine, had sadly passed away at the hands of an enemy, which thrust the kingdom into a time of darkness. However, within that darkness, there were little glimmers of light.
His son, Liam, your uncle, rose up to become King. He planned to be a good king, a kind king. Of course, those enemies were not content with what they had done and so planned to target Liam and his kingdom. But Liam had the best friends he could ask for to help keep him safe. He had Aunt Olivia, his most loyal and protective friend. She had skills with daggers and terrified all men! He also had Uncle Maxwell who was always there to hold dance parties and keep everyone happy. he had Auntie Hana who is the most clever person ever. But most importantly, Liam’s best best friend was Drake, your father.
Drake was so kind and loyal! And so strong! He was the best friend ever! He was also in love with the most beautiful maiden of the realm-
***************************
‘Camille.’
Camille blinked, interrupted. She saw Drake was looking at her with an eyebrow raised. ‘Yes?’ she asked sweetly.
‘Most beautiful maiden of the realm?’ Drake repeated, chuckling.
‘Do you dispute it?’ Camille asked.
Drake rolled his eyes. ‘No-’
‘Well, then, shh! This is our story!’ Camille said, sticking her tongue out at her husband. Lily giggled and snuggled into Drake, sticking her tongue out at him too.
‘Okay, continue, most beautiful maiden of the realm,’ Drake said, unable to stop the smile forming on his face. Camille gave him a wink and continued with the story.
******************************
‘So, Drake was in love with the most beautiful maiden of the realm, whose name was Camille! And she loved him too, deeply. They were happy. They planned their future and imagined having beautiful little daughters. Everything looked like it was going to be okay. As long as Liam had his friends, all would be well.
But one night, at a ball, the enemy attacked. They wanted to hurt Camille for silly reasons, but don’t worry, these enemies were stupid. They didn’t realise that Drake was there! The strongest, most brave man in the kingdom.
Lily, never underestimate people. They underestimated Drake and it was their mistake. Yes, they tried to hurt Camille, but Drake saved her. But like all heroes in the story, he got hurt while saving his love. Like Eugene from Tangled. The Beast. Meg from Hercules. Mulan. But you know what you have to remember about those stories? The heroes always live to tell the tale.
Just because they get hurt doesn’t mean they are weak. It means they were brave enough to stand up and defend something when nobody else would.
Drake was a hero that day and he is remembered for his bravery. He saved the love of his life and now he lives in a beautiful house with his two beautiful daughters. He is happy and well. He is the bravest man in all of Cordonia. He is here now, with you, safe and happy. Do you think he would have let himself leave this world without meeting you? Not a chance! Your daddy knew that his future was going to be bright and he fought hard to be part of it. He isn’t going anywhere, sweetie. Your daddy is the hero of this story and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
************************************
Lily threw herself onto Drake when Camille finished speaking. Drake smiled and held her close. ‘I’m here, baby, I’m here.’
They stayed like that for a long time with Lily refusing to leave his side. But she was smiling now, more at peace. Together, Drake and Camille got her ready for bed and kissed her goodnight, leaving her to dream of happy kingdoms and brave fathers.
Downstairs in the kitchen, Drake poured Camille a glass of wine and himself a glass of whiskey.
‘So, first thing tomorrow?’ he asked after a long silence.
Camille sipped her wine. ‘We’re meeting that damn teacher.’

Love, Fate, Destiny
Part 9- Walk away
Tumblr media
Riley Brooks is a waitress in a ‘Dive bar” in New York. One Saturday night, her past comes back to haunt her as some unfamiliar punters enter her bar on a bachelor party- one of them being someone who she was once close to.

******
It had been nine months since the social season was in Lythikos. There had been drama, tears, heartbreak and love.
Six months ago Liam married Olivia in an elaborate royal wedding against his father’s wishes. Everyone was pleased and happy for the new king as he could marry for love. Olivia took on her new roles and responsibilities with perfection- she was a natural which shocked most people. Madeleine had attempted to jeopardise the remaining of the social season in order to win the crown again. However she failed yet again, she was humiliated again, she was hated even more due to her meddling.
It was nine months since Riley abruptly left without informing anyone. Leaving not only made her heartbroken but also Drake. She was a hypocrite. She always blamed Drake for disappearing all those years ago- but then she did exactly the same.
It was the day of the Royal Regetta, Riley and Drake had tried to keep their distance from each other. Not wanting to cause a scandal due to Maxwell nearly giving their secret away in the Lythikos wine cellar. King Constantine had informed the press that he was abdicating the throne and that Liam would become King sooner rather than later.
Maxwell had used the excuse that they didn’t have any funds to hire a crew for House Beaumont’s boat- hiring Drake was a cunning plan to get the two love birds some alone time away from prying eyes. The trio had won the race surprisingly- Olivia wasn’t too thrilled but accepted that she wasn’t the Queen of everything.
After the race the suitors joined Olivia on her over-elaborate, luxurious yacht- there was champagne and wine from different regions of France- as well as canopies that were influenced by the Mediterranean. Madeleine made a beeline for Riley and Hana along with Kiara.
“Lady Riley, I must congratulate you. I notice that yourself and the commoner are quite close.”
“We are just friends Countess.”
“Well make sure it stays that way! Lady Kiara was his first love, I’m sure Duchess Olivia has informed you about that at the derby.”
“Yes, she did. Why would you be reiterating this fact? Why does it matter to me?” Riley discreetly grit her teeth, annoyed at Madeleine enjoying making everyone’s life hell.
“Oh it doesn’t matter to you. I’m just informing you. Did you know that Lady Kiara and Drake caused quite a scandal when they were 15?”
“Maddy please!” Kiara pleaded, whilst Riley and Hana looked bewildered- wondering if they needed to find some popcorn to eat whilst Madeleine stirred irrelevant information- doing her forte, creating drama.
“Why Kiara? You and Drake were once a family. It’s such a shame that you were forced to abort your baby.”
Riley stood frozen, feeling like she was about to hyperventilate. Why wouldn’t Drake inform her about this? He said he wanted to marry her but couldn’t tell her that he would have been a father. Hana gulped hard, before dragging Riley away. That was the last time they all saw Riley Brooks.
*****
Riley packed her bags immediately once arriving back at the palace, deciding to leave her close friends a note each- including Drake. Leaving the only man she had truly ever loved. She had text him asking if the rumours were true regarding his and Kiara’s past - he denied it. Asking everyone else for reassurance - they all confirmed that Madeleine was speaking the truth. Now believing she couldn’t trust Drake- she regretting abandoning her live in New York.
Sneaking out of the palace, she wasn’t sure where she was going. What she was going to do with her life. All she knew was that this short time in Cordonia would need to be erased from her mind.
I tell myself, this time it's different.
No goodbyes, cause eyes can't bear to see it.
I'll never survive on one that's coming.
If I stay, ooh no!
Just walk away! Oh, and don't look back
Cause if my heart breaks, it's gonna hurt so bad
You know I'm strong, but I can't take that
Before It's too late, oh, just walk away!
Riley didn’t want anymore unexpected surprises to occur in the future- causing more heartache, deciding to leave would be devastating for both her and Drake but it was her only option. The fact that he had impregnated Kiara was a shock- but the fact he lied about it made her original undecided decision now clear.
******
Liam all those months ago felt as if he was the tip of the iceberg for Riley’s departure. The last night in Lythikos, she had met him in his grand suite. Unknowingly to him, she agreed to do this with Drake and Maxwell to use Liam as an alibi in case Maddy and Kiara did in fact witness Drake and Riley in the wine cellar. She seemed shaken when she arrived at the suite, he had just assumed it was due to being with him alone. He tested the water and kissed her unexpectedly- resulting in a stinging slap on his cheek. It wasn’t until a few days later that Olivia explained why Riley had quite possibly left Cordonia- Kiara’s abortion.
On many occasions Liam had travelled to New York with his friends to attempt to find Riley and bring her back to Drake. They all tried to ring her, text her, contact her on social media- but there was no response. It was as if Riley Brooks was non-existent. After many failed attempts they could never find her. Finding Daniel and Lola the two refused to tell the friends any information regarding her- much to everyone’s annoyance. Feeling frustrated every time they returned to Cordonia without her, they saw Drake’s face sink- he was heartbroken all over again. During arguments he blamed Liam constantly for bringing her here in the first place- why he couldn’t drag her out of the masquerade ball to save her and save their relationship will always haunt him- and will be one of the biggest regrets of his life.
Working late at night, catching up on paperwork- Liam felt his eyes feel heavier with every second that went by. The scotch was previously preventing him face planting his desk. A sudden sharp knock at the door, surely woke him up slightly.
“Come in.”
“Sorry to disturb you, your Majesty.” Liam fixed his facial expression for his guard.
“It’s alright Bast. What can I help you with?”
“It’s what I can help you with, Sir. After lots of research, we believe....”
“You believe what? Just tell me Bast!” Liam snapped before shortly apologising for his short temper.
“We may have some links on Lady Riley. She has a new Instagram page - Rileyj1. We remained searching everything to do with Riley, Brooks, New York. Things that would make sense- anything to find her. After more research, we discovered that her mother’s maiden name was Johnson. Assuming that’s why there’s a ‘J’ in her username, she has most likely changed her name to this also.”
“Do you have any links as to where she may be? Does Drake know?” Liam pinched the bridge of his nose, not knowing what to do. Drake had been an alcoholic mess the last nine months- shutting everybody and everything out.
“According to the page, she spends most of her time in New York and Jersey. No we haven’t informed him.. although we are struggling to interpret her latest post. We may have to inform Drake?”
Liam looked bewildered at Bastien, picking up the bottle of scotch he shook it- to see how much remained. He had a feeling he may need some more scotch to recover from the words that Bastien was possibly about to speak. He couldn’t understand why an Instagram post would make all the difference if they inform Drake with information regarding the love of his life. Bastien asked if Liam would like to view the post and comments- Liam nodded, his heart was beating ten to the dozen, not knowing what exactly to expect. Gasping, his baby blues widened, his jaw was agape and could quite possibly stay in that position.
Tumblr media
Yankee2018- Aw Riley, she’s absolutely gorgeous! Congrats guys!
Lolahughes- @yankee2018 She’s like a doll...🥰 love ya chick! Need to meet up soon haven’t seen ya in forever! #schoolreunionasap
DanielMitchell- Don’t drop her! I know how you loved to drop glasses and plates in your waitressing days 🤣..Only joking... 😜
Bethanyhughes- We must all meet up soon? 🍾 #proudauntiebeth
Bigapple123- Ri holding a baby? I never thought I’d see the day 😆, you wouldn’t even hold my children. Only joking cuz! Love ya 😘
Liam didn’t want to read anymore comments, Riley looked beautiful and she was smiling. It was a genuine smile. Reading the comments, he because frustrated and angry with Lola and Daniel- it was written in black and white, it was photographic evidence that they had been in touch with Riley this whole time. Liam’s mind was working out the dates- a pregnancy lasts nine months, nine months ago we were in Lythikos... did Drake and Riley? Shit!
“Bastien! Get the royal jet ready. Tomorrow- everyone is taking a trip to the states and we are not leaving until we find her!”

||Voice of Treason || Chapter 7
[DABI X OC]
Summary: Hanako Yamada is tired of living in her brother’s shadow, so when an old friend comes back into her life, she can’t help but take a chance and make a new name for herself alongside the League of Villains.
Chapter: | Masterlist |
A/N: Here’s some Mic and some slight Endeavor confrontation! Honestly I had a general idea of what I wanted to happen in this fic and it’s going so much better than I thought it would. The next few chapters will involve some flash backs and I really hope y’all enjoy. Also I don’t know if I specified but the purple writing is Hana using the mimicry part of her quirk. Please please please like and comment because I would really enjoy some feedback on this.

“‘Zashi! I’m so glad you’re home! How was school?!”
9 year old Hanako ran to the door to hug her older brother. It was his 3rd year at UA and he was so close to graduation. He came home for a short visit before he had to get back to his interning Agency and his best friend Shouta Aizawa trailed in behind him.
“Hey there HanaBanana! Did you miss me?!” Hizashi picked his sister up and spun her around as she giggled happily. He blew a raspberry on her cheek as she struggled to get out of his grip.
He set her down and headed over to greet his mother. He hugged her tightly and murmured soft ‘hey mom’ into her cheek.
“Hana baby why don’t you and Shouta head up to Hizashi’s room? I need to talk to him for a second. Okay?” Mrs. Yamada’s sweet voice suddenly made Hizashi very anxious.
“M’kay momma. C’mon Shouta.” Hana grabbed Aizawa’s hand and started pulling him up the stairs to Hizashi’s room.
Mrs. Yamada let out a long sigh as she looked at her almost grown son infront of her. “...She misses you ya know...” her voice was quiet and sad and it hit Hizashi hard. “She needs you. School is getting difficult for her and she won’t talk to me about it. She’s only got one friend and it’s a Todoroki boy and I don’t know how to help her.”
Hizashi’s shoulders sagged like the weight of the world was on his shoulders and to him it was. Hana looked up to Hizashi like he hung the moon and stars but that wasn’t the case. He was imperfect and he was just doing his best to graduate.
“I’m sorry mom.. I have been busy with school and my internship and I just haven’t had time to come home. I promise I’ll do better. I’ll try and come home more often and check in with you.” Hizashi leaned against the counter and ran his fingers through his hair. It was a nervous habit he picked up.
“Don’t check on me. Check on her. Please. I’m worried about her future. She’s only happy when you’re home and new things have developed in her quirk. You both are so completely different and I don’t know how to parent this.”
Hizashi let out a deep breath he didn’t know he was holding in. He blinked repeatedly to try and disperse the moisture in his eyes.
“I’ll be better... for her... I promise...”
Broken... his promise was broken. He didn’t get better. He didn’t check in like he should have and things got worse. So much worse. Things go so bad that Hizashi was currently standing outside of the League of Villians hideout hoping and praying what Aizawa told him wasn’t true. Hana wasn’t a Villain. She couldn’t be... Had he really fucked up that bad??
All Might had just blown a hole in the side of the wall. They had just surprise attacked the league in hopes of rescuing Kastuki Bakugo. Mic was worried for the kid but he was more worried about his sister.
“LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE! GIVE ME BACK MY SISTER!! YA DIG?!”
The dust started to clear and that’s when the heroes were supposed to make their movie but they didn’t. Mic’s breath hitched and he didn’t even realize that he yelled out a very panicked ‘Stop! It’s Her!’. Standing in the middle of the hole covered in settling dust was a very very VERY pissed off Hanako Yamada.
Hana heard and she couldn’t help but laugh a little at the reaction. Everyone was just standing there watching her as the dust cleared. Hana was ready to have a little fun with this. She started throwing little whispers all around the heroes, but mainly around her brother.
“Who’s her?”
“What’s wrong?”
“Are you at a loss for words?”
“What’re you looking for?”
All of the heroes’ heads were turning and looking to see if she had appeared behind them but she hadn’t. Hizashi knew that and that’s why he never broke eye contact with her. That made her angry.
“Look at you! Big brother isn’t so big anymore, are you Hizashi?!” Hana couldn’t help but gesture to the man who she could tell was falling apart from the inside. She stepped up on top of the rubble that All Might had created so she could get a good view of everyone.
Mic was still speechless, he was starstruck by the person infront of him who looked vaguely like his sister but at the same time was someone completely different.
“Hanako Yamada. We have you all surrounded. If you tell us right now that you were tricked into joining the Leauge of Villians then your sentence will be shortened.” Pro-Hero Endeavor spoke up behind Mic when he realize that he wasn’t going to do anything. The fact it was coming from Endeavor absolutely tickled Hana to death. She couldn’t help but bust out laughing hysterically. It took her a minute to compose herself and as she was wiping a tear from her eye, several other villains had joined her in the wide opening of the wall.
“The name is Decible and that’s rich coming from you. If I did that I would be lying and don’t we all know that Todoroki’s can’t lie wether they be past, present, or future Todoroki’s right?” Hana placed one hand over her heart and the other in the air like a mock salute.
“No son of mine will ever marry trash like Hanako Yamada. You’re forbidden!” She mimicked Endeavor’s voice and sick smile spread across her lips as several of the hero’s were shocked. His eyes widened at the statement and his flame grew hotter.
“Perfect impression, Doll face. It’s like he’s standing right infront of me. Oh wait, he is.” Dabi’s voice spoke up right behind her. He stepped up onto the rubble next to her so that he could give his father the death glare that he deserved.
Now Endeavor was speechless at the sight of his eldest son. He didn’t know that he was still alive. Mic was confused by both his sister’s statement and the boy next to his sister.
“Dabi he looks a little confused. Do you think he remembers?” Hana leaned into Dabi’s side as he put his arm around her waist. His hand settled on the curve of her hip.
“I mean it would be kind of hard to forget brutally scaring my own child, but that’s just me baby.” Dabi kissed Hana’s temple before throwing a very harsh glare towards his father.
Mic snapped. “YO WHAT THE FUCK?? WHO ARE YOU?!!” He didn’t like how this sick fuck was giving his littler sister bedroom eyes right before he was gonna save her.
“The names Dabi. I’m your sisters boyfriend, best friend, and soulmate. So just shut up. Your voice hurts my head.” Dabi rolled his eyes and sent a glare to the loud blonde.
“BOYFRIEND??? HANA’S NOT ALLOWED TO DATE?!” Mic was more upset with the fact Hana hadn’t told him she had a boyfriend, than her actually having a boyfriend. Hana facepalmed at her brothers comment and Dabi couldn’t help but laugh.
“Please just shut the fuck up. You lost the right to dictate what happens in my life the minute you left.” Hana kicked a piece of rubble off the edge of the ledge she was on. It tumbled down to the edge of Hizashi’s feet.
“Left? I never left. What are you talking about??” Hizashi was hurt and confused. How was this all his fault? He had always tried to be there for her but apparently it wasn’t enough.
“You left my life the minute you went Pro! You weren’t my brother anymore. All you cared about was climbing the Pro-Hero ladder. It was impossible to get a hold of you!” Hana jumped from the ledge to the ground below.
“You have no idea how many times I called you or your agency and you were always busy. You got even busier when you became a teacher! It was insane, it was like I didn’t even exist anymore!” Hana ran her fingers through her hair and slowly approached her brother. The anger in her voice was very noticeable.
“When Touya disappeared I needed you ‘Zashi. I needed you to be my brother for once but you weren’t. I handled all that grief on my own and the weekend of his funereal you were in the fucking states doing god knows what. How can you call yourself my brother when you never fucking acted like one?!?” Hana shoved Hizashi hard in the chest as hot tears streamed down her cheeks. Hizashi stumbled backwards but caught his footing. He was completely speechless and it showed since his mouth hung wide open.
“I’m sorry Hana... I- I had no idea. I deserved all of that.... if you confess to trickery then I can fix this. Hana I can fix this I promise. Please let me fix this.” Hizashi was distraught and tears ran down his cheeks. He grabbed Hana’s arms and pulled her into a hug in an attempt to calm her down but he knew it was really for his own benifit. She struggled against him and when she finally got his arms off of her she pushed him away and spit at him.
“There’s nothing to fix.”
“Hana I-“ Hana cut him off by screaming at the top of her lungs and it launched her brother into the air. He would have landed a couple of miles away but Aizawa intercepted him out of the air with his capture weapon.
Hana glanced around the area to see what heroes were here. All Might, Endeavor, Kamui Woods, Mt. Lady, Eraserhead, and Present Mic. Hana turned around to head back towards the giant hole in the wall when All Might spoke up next to her.
“Where is Katsuki Bakugou?!”
Hana laughed to herself and glanced up to nod her head at Dabi before looking at the Symbol of Peace. “He’s safe... with me. Now I really gotta run but it was awful seeing all of you. Hope I don’t see you again!”
Hana threw a peace sign up and winked at the Symbol of Peace as she jumped up in the air and landed in Kurogiri’s portal making her completely disappear.
All the heroes blinked in shock at the sudden disappearance. Somehow all of them had been completely oblivious to everything else that wasn’t Hana. It was like she had put a trance on them and that had allowed all of the villains to get away once again with Katsuki Bakugou.

10 Albums I Loved in 2018
2018 was the year I finally, finally started just listening to a whole bunch of music again, admittedly in good part (but not all!) spurred by getting super into one band, and then listening to members' other work, and influences.
But since I've gone from really enjoying branching out to trying to even more by doing stuff this year like switching back over to Spotify for my at-work listening and already found a bunch of stuff I'm loving even within the past week, I figured I'd make a post with 10 of my favorite new-to-me discoveries from just that last few months of 2018, and maybe use this as a jumping-off point for 2019 and beyond!
While this is nominally an album recommendations list, pretty much everything here is more of an artist recommendation where I picked one favorite album to share—there's a couple that only have the one album and a couple where I haven't gotten around to listening to more yet.
OK Go, Of the Blue Colour of the Sky [Youtube] - [Spotify]
So I know I've made an OK Go music videos masterpost, because their videos are what they's famous for, I love these guys so, so much even just straight up as a band. I really regret letting them fall off my radar and not even really looking into them much back when they were. It's so hard to pick my favorite album of theirs, but I think it's gotta be this one. Please listen to my beloved nerds.
(The live album, 180/365, would also make a very good jumping-off point though. It's heavy on stuff from this album since that was the current album at the time but it's still got a solid selection from Oh No and the… one… song off the self-titled debut that they still do a fair bit (without shenanigans).
Secret Dakota Ring, Do Not Leave Baggage All the Way [Youtube] - [Spotify]
So this was the solo project of OK Go lead guitarist/keyboardist Andy Ross before he joined the band. (He also put out a second album, Cantarell a few years after joining the band, between their albums.) It's got a couple tracks I'm not that into (a couple that are mostly monologue/speech clips from stuff that are interlude-y and one actual song that leaves me flat) but even those feel mostly coherent as part of the total package and everything else I love a ton even just on their own merits, and I think this album might be my single favorite discovery this year outside of OK Go's work as an entire band.
Pyyramids, Brightest Darkest Day [Youtube*] - [Spotify]
*The Youtube playlist absolutely used to exist but it straight up disappeared last time the auto-generated album playlists updated
This is the other OK Go-adjacent band I checked out because we know I'm always on my bullshit; it's a side project between albums of bassist Tim Nordwind with a vocalist from another band (note to self: I really should remember to check out He Say/She Say at some point). I wish I had more to say about it, I don't find myself listening to it quite as much as the Secret Dakota Ring albums but I do like it a lot or else it wouldn't be here. (I'm not so on my bullshit I'm gonna tell you all to check out something I don't actually like a ton!)
Pixies, Surfer Rosa [Youtube] - [Spotify]
Pro tip: a really good way to find media you might like is by checking out things the people who make stuff you already like like. (Primarily when working within the same type of media, like, say, your favorite band's favorite bands, since then it's likely to have actually influenced their work, but if you find out your tastes line up in some other sphere then that's also great!)
Surfer Rosa vs. Doolittle seems to be the eternal question; while it loses a little for not having "Debaser" I think this one wins out for me personally. (I'd also like to give some brownie points to Bossanova if only for that opening track though.)
Depeche Mode, Some Great Reward [Youtube] - [Spotify]
No, this isn't Violator, and yes, that's probably heresy. But while the songs I'm particularly into are spread pretty evenly across the span from this to Songs of Faith and Devotion, I think this is the Depeche Mode album where the average hits highest for me.
But anyway, I'd been meaning to try out a decent amount of new wave for a while, and when Youtube recommendations started serving me up some Depeche Mode, I figured I'd give them a whirl, and I came out really happy for it.
Muse, Simulation Theory [Youtube*] - [Spotify]
*The Youtube playlist seems to have a very hard time keeping the [super] deluxe version remixes versus the regular versions straight, so there's some missing and some duplicates
Y'ALL. MUSE IS GOOD AGAIN.
Okay it's probably an exaggeration to imply they were ever truly bad, but the two previous albums were kind of underwhelming to me (though not without highlights!), and most of my friends who like them seem to agree. But goddamn this was a triumphant return to form. And the super deluxe edition has remixes/alternate arrangements of nearly every song, so this is more like the best two Muse albums in at least a decade.
All Hail the Silence, AHTS-001 [Spotify]
This one's cheating a little bit—it's an EP, not an album, and I actually did listen to it once back in 2016 when it released. But at the time, everything but "Looking Glass" left me feeling pretty unsatisfied, and that particular track had come out back in 2012 and had me excited for years waiting for more, so kind of left it alone for years in disappointment. But recently the other few songs have grown on me a lot, so now I'm really looking forward to ‡ (read "Daggers"), which comes out… oh, this Friday.
The Slow Readers Club, Cavalcade [Spotify]
These guys are the major competition for Do Not Leave Baggage All the Way in "favorite discovery other than OK Go last year", I think it's too close to call. In probably one of the weirder ways to pick up music, I actually checked this band out off a retweet from Bands FC, a twitter account that mashes up bands with soccer team logos, when they put out a new video, and I was into their sound pretty much instantly. But while last year's album Build a Tower is great I think I might be even a little more into this one from a few years back. And maybe the word gets spread we can eventually get some tour dates outside the UK someday. =P
(And in another instance of "yo, check out the things your faves like", one of my favorite new-to-me bands this year already I picked up off a retweet their lead singer made this past weekend.)
Thank You Scientist, Stranger Heads Prevail [Youtube] - [Spotify]
So apparently TieTuesday popped this album on as background music on stream one night. While I missed that particular stream, the sheer volume of people the next day thanking him for introducing them to it got me to pop it on the next day at work. Turns out prog rock with some brass is a sound I, too, am in favor of? (Also they apparently formed pretty close to where a couple of my friends live, which is neat trivia.)
Band-Maid, World Domination [Youtube] - [Spotify]
I feel like most of the people following me probably already know about Japan's girls metal band boom, but it's a very real thing, and it's not just Babymetal! But this was another band I found through Youtube recs and I'm pretty into it even though I thought I wasn't that into metal.
(I've also really liked the few Cyntia tracks I've checked out even besides the not-very-metal "Akatsuki no Hana", and Doll$Boxx shades into metal a bit. Maybe I just like a real specific subset of metal?)
