ATTENTION HERMITBLR
If you see this you are obligated to reblog and put your niche AUs in either the tags or as text.
And by 'niche' I mean something like a show many people don't watch or a random book from the library or something. Basically something that as far as you can tell, hasn't been created before.
I have hand selected three of my personal collection, but I have many more rattling around the brain. Under the cut because I love to ramble :)
Jinxed:
This is based off the book 'Jinxed', which is set in a world where little animal robots replace phones called bakus. There are at least 4 tiers to these robots, although there might be more because I haven't read the second book yet-
The current idea I have is that the Hermits are a friend group from one of the schools, and the traffic gang are sneaking out to take part in illegal baku fighting. That's it I haven't fleshed this out but robot animals and cool technology and maybe some angst. The angst comes in the form of the Watchers who run the fights slowly manipulating the kids.
Children of Stardust:
This is based off a random book I grabbed off the library shelf. It's so good. It takes part in a galaxy that gives away powers in the from of kobastickers. The reason it's on the list is because the Saba guild the main character belongs to gives off Hermitcraft energy. The kids gathered so many lawsuits and the one in charge of them just does not care. There's also this place called the City of Children, where all the adults just vanished and now it's run by kids.
Idk cool space adventures filled with chaos.
Skyborn:
This one is based off the book series Skyborn! It's a three part series that takes place in a universe where everyone is a bird hybrid. Fellow bird/avian likers come get your dream universe.
This one you could pretty much either just use the given universe or filled in the canon characters!
If we're going with filling in canon characters here's some ideas:
Ellie - Gem. A sparrow who wants to join the elite guard and when she doesn't she joins a band of thieves? I feel like Gem would be a great Ellie :)
Gussie - Mumbo. I have nothing to say except vibes. And also the fact that Gussie was from the high clans but then ran away to work on inventions. This role was made for Mumbo.
Twig is Bdubs I will not explain. It is simply the vibes.
Nox... is harder to place. Etho might work, but that interferes with another idea I had. Basically to get a Nox grab a traumatized guy who would be a crow hybrid and is bad at feelings.
Scar and Grian are that that prince and guard that might be in love. You can take this a /r or /p but they'd be great.
Anyone else I'd say are background characters or cameos! There are a lot of possibilities! This universe is filled with potential angst and fluff, with so much cool world building! I'd also recommend checking out the books if you don't mind them being targeted for kids!

1- When did you start playing Choices? What was the first book you played?
I started in 2018. I was bored in a friend's house and fighting good old insomnia when I saw the app and tried it for funsies. The first book was 'High School Story'.
2- When and why did you join Choices fandom?
I joined around late 2018 early 2019 and I had just left my community in Amino because the admin had gone full puritanical dictator and I was curious about Tumblr.
3- How did you pick your blog name?
It was simple: my nickname is Noe and I am a sapphic (aka lesbian). It's a no-brainer, really.
4- Pull up the first post in your archive, and tell us about it!
It was a reblogged quote. I related to what it said and I reblogged it
5- Do you write fanfiction, create fan art, or are you one of those really gifted people who do both?
I write fanfiction. God did not grant me art skills I'm afraid. My fingers are too fat and my pulse is terrible.
6- How long have you been creating for Choices and for any other fandoms?
I've been creating for fandoms as long as I can remember. I've had a really troubled life, so creating stuff helped me. As for Choices, I've been creating stuff since 2019
7- What is your favorite Choices book, and what is your favorite Choices book to create for?
Without a doubt, Desire and Decorum. The first book is simply a masterlist and its characters are so well-written, and everything about it just draws me to it. They definitely botched the other books, but it will always be in my heart. I also enjoy creating for other historical books and books that have similar themes
8- Share your first Choices fanfic or fan art that you posted with us. Do you still like it, or would you change it if you were creating it today?
It was a set of headcanons of Mr. Sinclaire and my MC, Celestine, finding out that they're going to be parents. While my spelling is terrible, I wouldn't change a thing. The engagement I received was such, it drove me to write for more. I haven't stopped creating since.
9- What your favorite piece of fiction or art that you created?
It's no secret for anyone who pays attention to my blog: my au, The Cursed Heiress, is probably my best creation. It's complex and a juggernaut of lore and history, and has all I've ever wanted in a fic and book in it. Although a close second is my Tudor AU, For Love and Duty. I simply love the 'arranged marriage' trope
10- Do you have a fic/art that you didn’t expect to be well received, but it was? What about one you expected to do well but found it could use a little more love?
The second part of a one shot, A True Man, was probably one of the most difficult to write, and with a very traumatising and important theme. I was 100% hoping anon hate telling me to delete it, but found instead that the people ate it up! It has now 30 notes (which is A LOT for a small fandom like the D&D one) and now that I reread it, I'm proud of what I created and the message I wanted to send, which resonates with happenings of my past and experiences.
11 - If you could write only angst, fluff, or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?
Definitely angst. There's something so cathartic and relieving as letting out those emotions you can't express out loud without being locked up for being unhinged, and it has helped me understand myself many times. Also, smut is def something that I can't physically write 😅
12 - Do you ever recognize yourself in any of your MCs or in your writing?
There are small parts of me in every MC. A fragment of my past. Something of their lore that I went through. Something I aspire to be. Something I wanted to be once. I like to think that every writer leaves a part of their heart and soul with each character they create.
13 - What element of writing/art do you struggle with most?
Ooof, where to begin. I think the hardest part is to just write. I can go on for weeks looking at my turned-off laptop and goof off on Tumblr. But when I do write, the 'boring' parts or writing a character that I am not familiar with or that there isn't much info about can be challenging.
14 - Do you have any neglected work you really want to finish?
Oof, where to begin, lol. My modern AUs, The Viscountess and Plan B. There's also Your Most Ardent Admirer and For Love and Duty. There's the fix-it fic series of the Blades LIs. Profiles of my MCs from several series. And also fic ideas that I want to create, but don't know where or how to start it. Woe is me indeed 😭
15 - If someone you know in real life (who isn’t involved in fandoms) asked to see your work, would you let them? If yes, what would you show them first?
Depends on the person. I would be very, very picky. I did show some parts of The Cursed Heiress to two trusted friends. But I wouldn't be against showing my mom a few chapters of The Viscountess… Unfortunately, she does not speak a word of English and I am terrible at translations, so it's wishful thinking, lol.
16 - Are there any writers (published authors and/or fanfic writers) who influenced your writing or art? Are there any artists that influence you?
For the published ones, Holly Black and Cassandra Clare have probably been my biggest help. Leigh Bardugo is also a newer inspo, and Spanish author Laura Gallego got me into fantasy, and anonymous author Bebi Fernández's raw and brutal prose have helped me find my voice. I have now bought George R.R Martin's Game of Thrones, looking for new sources to grasp.
As for fandom-wise, the very first writer to inspire me unfortunately hasn't been active since the pandemic, and despite our differences, @hellospunkiebrewster 's writing and essays got me into Regency and its history. My thriving years were by her side, and I'm grateful of having had a great fandom friend and hyper. The most recent ones are @missameliep my amazing fandom mom (te quiero mami 🥰) and some pieces by @princess-geek 's writing have inspired me to expand my horizon.
17- Which one of your stories would you most like to see as a movie/series?
The Cursed Heiress, definitely. I think that my messages would resonate with many people. There's also The Viscountess: many people should see the messages Nicole, Anne and others have, and for what I have planned (and have been stalling out of laziness 🫣) would put things into perspective for many minorities and certain groups that are neglected by society and governments alike.
19- Do you write original fiction or create non-fandom art?
I am now at the outlining stages of making The Cursed Heiress an original novel. I tried many times to make my own novel, but always dropped it. But now that I've been for years with it, I feel like this might be the one project I dreamed of publishing one day. It's tough and scary, but I'm loving the ride so far.
Also, I have tried my hand with poetry, but it didn't have engagement and felt like talking to a wall, so I now feel discouraged. But if someone out there is interested, lmk 👀
20- What other hobbies do you have?
Apart from literature, I love make-up, skincare, cooking and making gifs and videoedits. I also love travelling and discovering new adventures and learning as many languages as I am capable. I also love listening to music. Basically anything that has to do with the humanities and art, I'll take it. Also, I am very invested in modern royal gossip. I know, not very republican of me… 🫣😅
21 - What’s your favorite emoji?
Apparently, the one I use the most is 🫡🫶🏻👀. Heh, sounds like me, lol

Well. Quite a bit to unpack here on an otherwise unassuming Friday!
#1:
#2: I actually track this stuff. Admittedly the E-rated percentage is a bit higher if you look at RWRB only, but overall...
#3: I think anyone who subscribes to me on AO3, or indeed anyone who follows the kiwiana-writes tag here on tumblr and sees all those fucking WIPs, knows that I like to write a bit of variety. That's not to say there aren't definite underpinnings of, like, themes and vibes that I return to over and over (which I can only assume are why people subscribe to me), but if someone only likes my college AUs, or only likes my post-canon stuff, or only likes my E-rated stuff, or only wants to listen to my podfics, they're probably going to have a much more successful time saving the tag search than subscribing to me at the author level. Or they've mastered the art of archiving and moving on without complaining about it, like I do when the authors I'm subscribed to write something that doesn't interest me. It's a useful skill! I highly recommend cultivating it.
#4: AO3 not giving series stats is and continues to be the bane of my life, but based on the number of people who subscribed to the OG actor AU, there's probably a significant chunk of people who aren't subscribed to me as an author and only want the actor AU verse stuff. And good for them! I LOVE that AO3 offers multiple ways to subscribe so you can get notified for the stuff you want (my kingdom for the ability to subscribe to individual pseuds, though.)
#5: This fandom is OVERFLOWING right now. Like, I can't keep up. You only want to read E-rated stuff? Awesome! Well over 100 E-rated fics have been posted in the RWRB bookverse tag just this week (it looks like most of the movieverse smut has also been tagged bookverse, but either way it's also very easy to find). Or go back to older fics and find some hidden gems—there's nothing an author loves more than for someone to come in and gush about a fic they wrote a year or two ago.
#6: You don't pay me, and I'm not subject to annual review. One of my favourite authors was talking this morning about how sometimes she thinks about taking a break from writing for RWRB because it's starting to feel a little rat racey, and that would suck for me personally because I love her stuff but god knows I couldn't blame her, because the (extreme minority but still exhausting) entitled comments and rudeness really do not help. Stop treating your favourite authors like content creators who owe you something new on a regular schedule, because that's a damn good way to ensure they don't want to create anything new ever again. Like... anon, you haven't even bothered to couch this in a compliment. The bar is ten feet underground and somehow you still managed to trip over it.
#7: Not to be all 'back in my day' but... well, back in my day, snippets and peeks into the universe of a remotely popular longfic were pretty much the standard lol. Nobody is forcing you to read them, I promise.
#8: I've posted two E-rated fics in the last two weeks.
#9: Honestly I just really want to reiterate #1 because what the hell lol. While pronouns don't equal gender, it's pretty reasonable to extrapolate from pronouns if you don't have any other info to go on—and of the three "main/standard" pronouns, the one most closely associated with 'girl' is the only one that ISN'T in my bio 🤦

So in my boredom I could've been building more Lore for my current au, or even atleast thinking of Redesign ideas for Fire Spirit, but did I do either of those things? Not at all, infact I made another au where a what if the beasts and ancients swapped, in this the Ancients corrupted soul jams are the opposite of the beasts original virtues. Anyways here their new names and info I guess about them.
Pure Vanilla and the Light Of Truth became Immoral Saint Vanilla or just Immoral Vanilla and Force of Ignorance. He literally just doesn't do anything to help cookies anymore or just chooses to be unaware, and usually is laughing as he watches his friends torture innocents. He's a 'great' guy though.
Dark Cacao and the Light Of Resolution became Berserker of the North or The North Berserker and Force of Prohibition/Restraint I cant decide which one sounds better. He is probably the one that tortures the innocents the most, and he relishes in it, usually killing them slow and painfully.
Hollyberry and the Light Of Passion became Toxic Yewberry and Force of Misery. She's often called insane by cookies, she does end up 'befriending' Pitaya Dragon but instead of them becoming nicer and more tolerant to cookies, together they cause misery to not only her Kingdom, but also any cookies that try to stand in her way. She has no clue what to do about her son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids though, currently she keeps them alive just to have them watch the misery she causes.
Golden Cheese and the Light Of Abundance become Dreadful cheese and the Force of Constance. Her Kingdom is set in the old times just like the others rather than having technology and that stuff, she also tends to keep everything the same, and if one of her residents die, thats the only time she'd allow change to happen but she's certainly annoyed by it. Like Pure Vanilla she doesn't do anything but dare someone question her role, they don't die but are instead thrown into a dungeon, unless of course the person questioning her is one of her very important staff members then they just get turned into a golden statue where they remain for who knows how long, usually until Dreadful Gold needs them specifically for something.
White Lily and the Light Of Freedom become Wilted Faerie and Force of Dissension. She refuses to see any of her 'friends' If she even dare call them that, and instead stays in the Faerie Kingdom where the remaining faeries that haven't died from questioning her abide every word she says, which usually means no having conversations with the other faeries unless it's needed for one of their assigned jobs, if they talk about anything else she would usually cause flowers to bloom in their mouths muting them entirely only able to be removed if they are plucked out, but the flowers don't let anyone besides her touch them, so if they are plucked out its if she wants them to and only if she wants them to. Yes they can breath and eat with the flowers, as it's only in their mouths and there's gaps within the flowers that allows them too, Wilted Faerie hates seeing bodies of cookies in her kingdom as it ruins the appeal of the Silver kingdom, so she is extremely strategic with the punishments of the faeries, if too many bloom causing restriction of airflow or being able to eat she'll pluck some out. Side note: I got a bit disturbed writing this but I think it makes sense with her in-game powers.
Yes the Corrupted ancients get sealed in the silver tree just like the beasts did, and also the ancients lived in beast-yeast just like the beasts did, the beasts or now called Divine Saviors live in Crispia. Wilted Faerie is now being kept in imprisonment by her citizens and probably can still see or atleast hear when Elder Faerie gets named the title of king now.
Now onto the beasts who are called the Divine Saviors. Side note: I came up with the other beasts Pre Corruption names today which is why I didn't use them in my last post with pre corruption beasts. But Shadowmilks I made a post of earlier, anyways let's get started on them.
Shadow Milk and the Power Of Deceit went back to being Myrtille Milk and the Virtue Of Knowledge. He lives where the Dark Cacao Kingdom is in the game, He's generally a great leader, sometimes has his nose in books to much but generally he's a great guy. On occasion he does put on shows for the youth of the Berrymilk kingdom. side note: I was almost tempted to name it the berries and cream Kingdom, or the Milky Kingdom. Anyways he's pretty great, and quite protective of his friends. meaning the crap Clotted Cream pulled on the ancients in game ain't going to go well if he pulls that crap with the Divine Saviors as they all are extremely protective of eachother. Yes he fought the two dragons and also the prowler, well he more of tamed the prowler.
Burning Spice and the Power Of Destruction went back to being Calming Spice and the Virtue Of Change, He lives where Golden Cheese used to, and like in GCs kingdom in game it has technology the other kingdoms don't have yet. He's a very relaxed ruler, his name is literally Calming Spice what would you expect. Again he's protective of his friends and would lose his cool if Clotted Cream pulled the crap he did in Cookie Odyssey. The Golden Kingdom is called The Kingdom Of Spice in this AU
Eternal Sugar and the Power Of Sloth go back to being Ethereal Sugar and the Virtue Of Happiness. Her Kingdom is where Hollyberrys is in game but now it's called The Ethereal Kingdom of Paradise(long names for the kingdoms is common in this AU) She's an amazing leader and almost everyday will visit the orphanages I'm her kingdom and sing the orphans lullabies while she flies just slightly above the ground with them in her arms, side note: the orphanages are pretty great in her kingdom and take amazing care of the orphans. The same as the others she protective of her friends and would be the one to probably throw herself at Clotted Cream just like Dark Cacao.
Mystic Flour and the Power Of Apathy went back to being Serene Flour and the Virtue Of Volition. She'd be in the same place as Hollyberry in Cookie Odyssey, meaning she holds Ethereal Sugar back from attacking Clotted cream, although she feels the same way she just doesn't want violence. Her Kingdom is where the Vanilla Kingdom is, its called The Kingdom of Flowing Flour. She is notorious for healing in her kingdom and is known to be an extremely doting queen.
Silent Salt and the Power Of Silence went back to being Noble Salt and the Virtue Of Solidarity. He lives nowhere in particular, he usually travels around a lot, but usually stays around where Blueberry Yogurt Academy is in game, it isn't named anything different because in this AU it was created after Myrtille Milk became king, and MM actually Created it with Blueberry Yogurt for the future Healers/Magic users Noble Salt also occasionally lives with MM usually only during Winter until spring comes along and he can continue exploring.
Other honorable mentions for this AU: 1st of all, since Creme Republic isn't necessarily tied to any Kingdom it and the residents of it stayed the same hence why Clotted Cream is still an annoying cookie. 2ndly, so far I haven't yet made the decision if Noble Salt becomes whatever this AUs Dark Enchantress will be called, so currently every things very sunshine and rainbows. 3rd of all, Parfaedia is a college in this au, and BYA is like an Elementary/Middle school, maybe even High School(don't ask how Cream Puff is in Parfaedia then in this au, I haven't thought about that much). And lastly(for now) Burning Spice x Shadowmilk and Eternal Sugar x Mystic Flour are generally Canon in this AU so are Golden cheese x Hollyberry and Pure Vanilla x Dark Cacao, White Lily is a grumpy women that hates literally everyone so she aint going to be in a relationship in this Au, and Silent Salt is too busy exploring to feel the loneliness of not having a partner plus hes got friends that are in relationships and hes perfectly happy with being their third wheels on occasion, but I probably won't mention the relationships much because this AU is still very much a rough draft or whatever you want to call it. Anyways I'll probably work on the other AU or Fire Spirits redesign later.

Betrayal's Bond | An Uchiha Brother's Series | Teaser
Summary: You've been tasked with finding the team of jonin that went missing on their mission to the village hidden in the stars but what happens when you take one Uchiha brother to look for the other?
Pairing: Tsundere Sasuke x female!oc x Itachi (love triangle)

a/n: Ahh idk how this'll do since I mostly post Jungkook/Kpop fics but I hope you guys'll look forward to this fic! Naruto is my all time favorite anime and I highly suggest you watch it but it's not necessary to enjoy this fic. You might need to look up the meaning of some of the words but it's nothing too crazy okay okay I'm done
Starting the morning off with a rude awakening is never good and today was unfortunately one of those days...
I jolt awake at the sound of someone banging on my front door and almost fall out of bed. "What the fuck is someone doing here so early?" I grumble to myself seeing that it's barely seven o'clock. I stretch for a second and rub my eyes before getting out of bed and putting my slippers on so I can open the door for whoever this horrible nuisance might be.
"Why the hell are you banging on my do- Oh Sasuke, what are you doing here?" I question, bringing my first scolding tone down to my normal one. "The Hokage wants to see us. She said it was urgent" he says and walks away giving me no further details.
"Wait Sasuke! I- and he's gone" I call out for him but he disappears before I'm able to get another word in. 'Thanks for the info Sasuke' I grumble to myself before heading back inside to get ready.
I take a quick shower, get dressed and head out as fast as I can but it doesn't seem like it was fast enough for Sasuke's liking as I see him leaning up against the wall next to Lady Tsunade's office with an irritated look on his face. "Nice to see you too Sasuke" I mumble and neither of us bother trying to engage in any other conversation before knocking on Lady Tsunade's door.
"Enter" I hear faintly from the other side of the door and walk in with Sasuke right behind me. "You wanted to see us?" I question as we both make our way over to her. "Yes, thank you both for coming in this early" she says, setting the papers she had been looking through down on her desk. "Is everything alright?" I ask as I take into account the dark circles under her eyes worried that something horrible might've happened.
"There was a team of Shinobi that went out on a mission to the village hidden in the stars a few weeks ago and they haven't returned. It should've been an easy mission but we've lost all contact with them about a week ago" she lists off, sorting through the papers until she finds the right one.
"The village hidden in the stars? What were they doing there?" I question, hoping to get as much info as I can. "They were meant to retrieve a certain item there that the village had planned to give us for research but I can't reveal exactly what that item is" She says, giving only the necessary information.
"Why not?" Sasuke asks in a monotone, cocking his brow at the Hokage and she simply rolls her eyes in response, already being used to his insolence. "It's not something the public should be aware of and honestly I've given you more information than I should have" she say, glaring right back at him.
"You don't trust us?" Sasuke prods, obviously not happy about being left in the dark about this but Tsunade just shakes her head, tired of the pushback but also trying to hold in her anger as she's known to have a short fuse.
"Once you find them just give them this document, they'll fill you in on the rest once you get there. We never really know who's listening and like I said we do-" "Don't want anyone knowing we got it" Sasuke says cutting her off.
"Sasuke!" I scold him, afraid of the backlash we might receive. "I'm sorry Lady Tsunade, he's really not a morning person" I explain, hoping to defuse the situation. "Sasuke Uchiha, y/f/n, you have been tasked with the mission of locating the missing shinobi and helping them complete their mission" she states before either of us can make any further comments.
"But Lady Tsunade, usually we go out on missions in teams of three. Won't we need a third?" I question, concerned that this might've been an oversight.
"It's a covert mission. It would make things too obvious if there were too many of you. Plus, you're only meant to find them so you two should be sufficient enough. The shinobi you're looking for is a team of jonin so as you can see we've already put enough manpower into this whole operation as is" she explains, leaning back in her chair and rubbing her temples.
"If I may ask, who are the jonin we're looking for?" I question, seeing as that's the most crucial information we need to complete this mission. "Kakashi Hatake, Shikamaru Nara and Itachi Uchiha" she lists off.
Sasuke stiffens at the sound of the last name and I know from now on that this mission is gonna hit close to home.
"Pack up your gear and head out as soon as possible" she finishes. "Understood" Sasuke answers for the both of us and makes his way out first, leaving me behind without a care in the world.
"Lady Tsunade may I ask you something?" I say quietly, keeping my voice down so the possibility of anyone hearing is a little bit smaller. "Go ahead" she sighs, thumbing through the other documents she has strewn about her desk.
"Why did you put Sasuke on this mission? I mean I don't want it to be seen as if I'm questioning your judgement but isn't the mission a little too personal for him? You know, since Itachi is missing?" I question while walking a bit closer to her desk.
"That is exactly why I've put him on this mission. The mission is important to the village but it's even more important to Sasuke now that he knows. "Yeah I guess you're right. May I ask why you've chosen me to go along though?" I continue, playing with the bracelet I have around my wrist, a nervous habit I've developed over the years.
"You're a good tracker and you've been completing your missions with close to perfect results. Plus you're a quiet one that doesn't tend to get on people's nerves so I figured you'd get along well with Sasuke" she answers, listing off my strengths which has me a little shy, embarrassed that I pretty much fished for compliments.
"Just take a deep breath and don't be nervous. Sasuke's rough around the edges but I'm sure you guys will work just fine together" she says while giving me a warm smile, hoping to give me some encouragement. "Yes my Lady. Thank you" I say, giving her a shallow bow and walking out of her office and rushing home.
'I hope she's right about this' I think to myself as I run through the village, dreading what is to come as flashbacks of the argument I had witnessed between the brothers comes to mind again.
'Please Sasuke, don't mess this one up'

HanTan Swap AU
CW : Hantengu x Tanjiro, Body Modification, Canon Spoilers
In this AU Hantengu is a human and a Hashira while Tanjiro is a demon. Also i didn't swap all the characters.. only a few upper moons, the hashira and the kamaboko. To be honest with you i just want to draw a human Han with demon Tan lol but i end up making a bit story for them..
Character Info
Hantengu aka " Hanzou " ( 半蔵 )
Hantengu or Hanzou is the current Wind Hashira. He joined the corps after he got falsely accused of murdering his wife and son. When he came home late from work, he saw his family slaughtered by a demon. He managed to kill the demon but since the demon disintegrate when exposed to sunlight he was deemed the killer. He was put on a death row but then saved by the previous leader of the corps.
The incident turn him into a more reserved person, he mostly kept to himself and rarely socialize with anyone. His only "close friends" are his swordsmith, his crow and a nosy Hashira.
He is currently the oldest Hashira between his co-workers. It was a mystery how he managed to survive that long as a Hashira. A rumor start to spread after he recruited a tsuguko that he's going to retire soon.
Tanjiro
Tanjiro was an Upper Moon 6 Demon. His family was slaughtered by Muzan. While mourning for the death of his family he was visited by Muzan. Upon seeing Tan's hanafuda earrings, Muzan decided to turn him into a demon. Tanjiro lost his memories and became loyal to Muzan and managed to fight through the ranks to be an upper moon. But not long after he became an upper moon 6, a revelation came up that caused Tanjiro to break through Muzan's control and went on a hide.
He doesn't remember when he gained another set of eyes. While he can shift his body parts easily, he prefer to keep his 4 eyes because going back to just 2 eyes felt "weird". He mostly wear his mask so not many people know about his 4 eyes except the people close to him.
Tanjiro doesn't eat Humans anymore, he gains his energy through sleeping.
Story
Hantengu was tasked to hunt down a supposedly lower moon demon in a rural village. A lot of high ranking slayers was sent there but never came back. Hantengu was sent for the mission because the village is under the district he's in charge for.
When he arrived, he did a little digging for the whereabouts of the demon. What confused him is that yes there used to be a demon lurking in the woods eating villagers. But there haven't been any demon attacks for the past few weeks. It seems like a protector was sent by the Gods to protect their village. Some witnesses said they were saved by someone with a fox mask. They believed this is the fox guardian that was sent by the Gods. Well.. that's weird. He needs to find this mysterious person.
When Hantengu arrived in the woods, instantly he felt like someone is watching him. Some time later he hears footsteps and sense a demon is nearby. Hantengu reach for his sword so he's ready when the demon decided to attack him. after several steps he felt the demon was behind him so he brandished his sword and slashed the demon. The demon managed to dodge the attack but his mask was slashed in half.
That's where he saw their face. They have four eyes, the first pair of eyes have the carved upper rank 6 on it. Both of them were staring at each other, equally surprised. Then the demon spoke, Hantengu was too stunt to listen what the demon said because in all his career he has never met an upper moon demon.
Then the demon speak again this time a bit louder, he asked if he's a slayer that was sent by the corps to kill him. Hantengu a bit confused told him yes he is. Then the demon look dejected and told him that it's better to be killed by a slayer rather than caught by his master so the demon knelt down and surrender. Which confused Hantengu even more because why would a demon, an upper moon demon, surrender and asked to be killed. Hantengu still confused told him to calm down and let's talk a little bit.
The demon introduce himself as Tanjiro. He filled out on what happened in the past few weeks he's been there. And it's true that a lower moon was in the area. Tanjiro found the demon attacking a villager and killed the demon. The villager was petrified so Tanjiro guide them back to the village nearby. That's where the rumor about a supposed "guardian" started. But really all he did was killed off the demon and guiding lost villager back to their village.
Hours passed, and Hantengu learn a bit more about Tanjiro and his situation. Tanjiro asked if he could just kill him but Hantengu is conflicted. On the one hand Tanjiro is an upper rank demon, he has killed many people to get there.. but on the other hand he had admit that he's ashamed and remorseful for what he did (also he kinda cute). Maybe he could give him a second chance..??
Hantengu decided to spare Tanjiro's life. On one condition that he stayed in that mountain, and he will be monitored closely by Hantengu himself (and his crow but he doesn't know lol).
This is where they start to develop feelings for each other lol

Oh I didn't expect to have an ask about this AU again, but thank you!
Even though I haven't been back in the fandom for a while, I'll gladly share what I could from what I can remember. I don't know when I'll get back into this, you can say that this AU is on a very long hiatus for the time being.
The Flower Shop and Tattoo Parlour AU was of course something I've made on a whim just to write my ships in but the more I got into it I got invested into writing little headcanons while at the same time having some parts of this AUs story be somewhat similar to the original.
Also I thought I'd say it here but if anyone else is invested in this AU as well, I wouldn't mind seeing anyone else have a go at this AU concept too, so I'm giving full permission to use as some inspiration. I'd love to see what others could do with this story.

The things I haven't brought up in this AU are mostly the other PM and ADA member's roles in the AU these where the other ideas I had in mind that I never though of posting, not including Soukoku and shin soukoku (unfortunately I didn't have any illustrations of them so it's just text for now) :
ADA (Tattoo Parlour)
Yosano - I had posted about her once before and I think the information about her is still the same. Works at the Tattoo shop part time and as a doctor for her main job, she's one of the workers who are skilled in applying piercings
Ranpo - He was the trickiest one to come up with because of who he is as a character, but the closest I could think of is that He could also be a tattoo artist and a really skilled one in fact, but he prefers to just sit back and do his own thing so he doesn't work with a lot of client unless he wants to himself
Kunikida - He would be the manager of the shop and would of course still be a former math teacher turned manager to a Tattoo Parlour, but for the reason on why he chose this, I never got into why or I probably forgot
Junichiro - One of the shops other piercers he's taking this job also part time in order to earn money to support him and his sister. Speaking of, Naomi is also very well known at the shop from how often she visits him at work and is often asked to leave by Kunikida when she stays for too long
Kyoka - She's a regular junior high student as well as Atsushi's neighbour. Her parents were the ones to have introduced her to him after a friendly encounter and would ask him to tutor their daughter when they're away for work on occasion. Kyoka personally sees him as an older brother figure to her and would keep her company as she would be often by herself
Kenji - a close school friend of Kyoka and he personally know Atsushi as well after being introduced by his friend. The two would also visit the shop sometimes whenever they walk back from school
Fukuzawa - the owner of the shop but also let's his workers operate freely as long as they're not causing any serious trouble, he has a past that he prefers not to bring up and the interaction between him and Ranpo is the same like in the original
PM (Flower Shop)
Kouyou - On of the best and oldest workers at the shop and is Chuuya's superior, she's the first to rely on as she provides the best bouquet arrangements for any special occasion whether it be events or weddings
Higuchi - A new worker at the shop and looks up to Akutagawa, she's well antiquated with both him and his sister Gin. Over time she had slowly developed feelings for Ryunosuke but is unfortunately unaware that he has eyes for someone else, a certain silver haired tattoo artist
Tachihara - He is also a new comer he worked at the shop before Higuchi, he's very laid back and would regularly hang out with Gin and Hirotsu during breaks
Hirotsu - Another experienced worker at the flower shop, for his age he's still capable of carrying large portions of supplies with no issue and would regularly smoke at the back of the shop whenever he's on break
Kajii - Tasked on looking over the quality of the flowers and maintains their quality but at the same time is very curious of the capabilities of the plants and would often be stopped by the other workers from wasting any more of their stock
Mori - The mysterious owner of the flower shop, it's unknown on why he chose to run one but apparently there are some rumours about the shop's owner having possible crime connections as well as former workers disappearing but they all lack information to confirm it's validity

do you have any recommendations for fics or other writers/artists that make Regulus-centric stuff that isn't jegulus?
I DO YES - i don't really know anything in the realm of fanart but if anyone does feel free to hop on!
first of all, some good places to look are in the ao3 collections for regulus black fest (it's a different collection every year). you can find a lot of info on the tumblr blog which i am not going to tag because i feel like their notifications are probably hellish but it's https://regulusblackfest.tumblr.com/ - the url is just regulusblackfest
and they also have artwork! so that's a good source for that as well if you haven't already looked
of course, there will undoubtedly be jegulus in there, but it won't ONLY be jegulus
as for my personal recommendations:

leave no stone unturned (a series of standalones) by thedivinecomedian has a lot of great stuff - i haven't read the whole series, but i love blackpool, styx, and sabotage! please do mind the content warnings on all of those. (as the title of the series suggests, they're all standalone fics)
bindings, bindings by quietlemonhush isn't SOLELY regulus-centric - it focuses on regulus, sirius, remus, james, and lily - but regulus is one of the main characters, he has a pov, and i just love the fic in general agslhgjskdf. once again mind the warnings but it's less intense than, like, blackpool
through a glass, blackly by wheresmejumper is one that i just read fairly recently and became an INSTANT fave. it's just so well done GAHHHHHH my jaw was on the fLOOR when i got to the end, highly highly recommend, yet again do mind the warnings
some more no romance fics i found in my older bookmarks:
birthright and brotherhood - one-shot, regulus pov of sirius running away
to blow a gasket - one-shot, regulus using notable muggle inventions like duct tape and explosives to steal the horcrux
miscellaneous pairings:
smoke slow: a spy!regulus au - regulus/remus series, regulus is The Spy who ends up with the hogwarts teaching job. he's a runes professor, one of my favorite takes on the 'regulus was dumbledore's spy' premise, and regulus himself is just *chefs kiss* he's punched dumbledore in the face multiple times and i live in the hope of him getting another one in. the dialogue is EXCELLENT
midnight hues - bartylus one-shot, emotional hurt/comfort i guess? it's soft (it's in a series, but the series is more a collection of regulus fics than anything requiring continuity)
kindness blooms - regulus/petunia series, which is a WILD pairing but the author totally sold me on it - 'good petunia dursley' is a prominent tag in the series, it becomes more harry-centric as the series progresses but there's still a lot of regulus!
AND FINALLY........
technically this fic should go in the no romance section but it's just so glorious that i felt the need to give it its own section
regulus black and the way things changed: a not!fic - another take on regulus becoming a hogwarts professor, told in humorous bullet point style, and it's just delightfully unhinged the whole way through. regulus competes with gilderoy lockhart re: who is the most fabulous dresser at hogwarts. snuffles gets HEAVILY involved. it's absolutely wild. also they kill voldemort and whatnot

She'll have 4-
#1 Blood Demon Art Flora Bomb
By digging her nails into wood/branches, Yn will be able to inject the wood with blood and produce bombs she can use like grenades.
#2 Blood Demon Art Petal Poison
A scent that can given off either as a warning (Ex: Orange Lilies which means hate) or they give off a poisonous smell that is deadly to inhale to ANY demon or human alike.
#3 Blood Demon Art Perfumed Slashes
Y/n deadliest and most efficient attack. Thanks to a mutation in her blood, Yn can turn her blood into a deadly poison that she can then infuse into her nails by clawing her body to cover her hands in blood. This poison is full of wysteria and can be smelt in the air.
#4 Blood Demon Art Foresight
As for this ability, Yushiros blood demon art allows him to see things no one else can example being Yahsba's arrows. Y/n has the same ability only slightly different as she can sense things others can't. Such as she was able to sense that Gyutaro would attack the vender and Kokushibo's different aura compared to everyone else. This blood demon art is more subtle and works at random.
(Warnings!!: Enmu IS his own warning, possibly some innuendos, and blood being drawn.)

"O-Ok...I'm...also sorry for just dumping all of that on you. I understand if you don't want to see me again."
"I DO want to see you again. And I want Rui to be able to see you too. Don't apologize for being honest with me."
Akaza had taken nearly an hour to get himself together after that surprise kiss, and you took the long moment to process the shock of that being the second kiss someone gave YOU in one day. By now Akaza seemed better. Rui was cradled fast asleep in his arms and Akaza didn't give one complaint about cradling the eleven year old in his arms, in anything else he seemed content to hold onto him. Which lead to him just quietly staring at Rui for a bit...
"...He doesn't seem to hate me. I'm relieved to know that I guess," he mumbled.
You were confused at this. "Why would he hate you? He's literally calling you his father now."
"....He knows what I did to his actual father.''
You paused stunned for a moment.. before blinking. "What? How do you know that?"
"When we were traveling he awoke while you were asleep one night. He refused to sleep again unless I made up a story about something random I thought of....But he said something I haven't mentioned up til now." Rui mumbled in his sleep as Akaza shifted him to stand. "He said the reason why I was sent to the mountains was to free him...I never told him I went to his Clan's home, which meant he must've seen me there at one point and...knew what I've done." ....He silently stood up still looking at the sleeping child in his arms. "But he doesn't seem to hold that against me.."
"Probably for good reason." You also stood looking at the scene in front of you. It seemed almost domestic. "...I can't say what exactly his relationship was with his other family was, but he seemed to have a pretty bad relationship with both his parents. You doing what you did might've been the kindest thing anyone's ever done for him in his mind. ...That might be why he imprinted on you specifically out of everyone."
He scrunched his brows in thought considering what you said for a moment before sighing. "Still...I deprived not only him, but all those other children of that father. That being the case... I'll have no other choice but to fill that position for Rui." He nodded. "But he's not the only one.. I'll have to speak with..." He grimaced and nearly growled with his next words. "..Douma, about placing a positive male figure in those other children's lives. Not him mind you, but perhaps their mother could remarry or we could find a male they could imprint onto until they get older." He hummed again. "...I'll have to work on that while I temporary take over Kokushibo's work."
You again blinked. "You'd go though all the trouble of finding his brothers and sisters a father?"
"I'll figure something out. But I think in the meantime I'd better be going. Kokushibo was supposed to be looking into a string of recent murders, but I'll have to go instead." He looked around the darkened room. "Where is he sleeping?"
"Over there." You pointed to a connecting door to your room. "He has his own room through there."
Akaza nodded before turning to the door and you watched as it slid open with him disappearing inside, a moment later Akaza returned with a sigh from his lips. "He's been put to sleep. It's late so it's no surprise he fell asleep."
You nodded. "Yeah. He's not the only one tired. I think I'll turn in too."
"I'd imagine....Y/n, listen. If..you really don't want me to court you, I'll respect your wishes and take back my gift. I'll no longer court you and I will respect whomever you choose to be with."
Your eyes widened... before you sighed. "I don't know what I want to do Akaza. I really like you and some of the others but It's too soon to make a decision. But if you want to court me..I guess everyone can until I make my final choice."
"REALLY?!..I mean-.." He coughed covering the excitement earlier. "Yes. I will keep that in mind." You chuckled at his antics but stopped when a hand of his pulled your bangs back. "....Good night, Y/n. I'll try to see you again soon."
And he left you standing there blinking at the place he once stood.. Before you sighed a pink coming over your face and your hands ran over your face. You had too much on your mind. Right now what you needed was a good night's sleep and that futon looked very inviting to your mind. Walking over, you nearly face planted into the soft blankets and allowed the deep cushions to encase your body eyes closing. You'd think about what to do this tomorrow for now you'd just sleep just take you away from all your problems. The darkness enveloped as your eyelids closed and the night took a hold of your senses.
"My Lady. Wake up, My Lady. You need to get up now."
You groaned out again from someone prodding your shoulder and opened your eyes up to not one but three fancily dressed up lady demons smiling down at you. ".....I already said I don't want servants." You grumbled turning to your side to show your back towards them all and throwing the blanket over your head. "And Im sleeping in right now. So don't bother me."
"But Lady Y/n, you have gifts from the nobles," one insisted pushing on your shoulder again making you groan and poke your eyes out.
"What?"
"Your gifts, Your Ladyship," one of them smiled at you wider. "It's customary to gift things whenever a Kizuki gets engaged to make the new lady feel welcome, and you're the only one here."
More gift giving? Why? You were planning to leave here soon, you couldn't have all these things when you do go. Your exposed eyes crinkled up in slight annoyance. You couldn't even sleep in around here? What were things coming too? You barely blinked when one of those smiling faces shoved a bright blue box in your face.
"A gift from the lady Iko from the Watoshi family! They're responsible for the manufacturing of most beauty products we use! I'm sure she sent you something splendid!"
"....Open it and tell me what's inside."
Not surprising it was make up. You sat up groggily but quickly woke up when you saw the pile of boxes literally behind them. They were all smiles and giggles- Rui was digging through them and pulling out a couple. He pulled it open, looked at the insides, and made a face before harshly shoving it back in the pile at random only to grab another.
"Rui." Said child looked at you with a pink box in his hands. "What are you doing?'
He simply shook the pink box in his hands and looked at it. "I'm taking the ones I want. Most of these things are just kimonos that won't fit me." You watched as he opened the pink box and peered inside, only to reach inside and pull out a small wall mirror surrounded by a frame of gold. "....This one's going in my room."
You huffed a chuckle. "Be my guest. Take anything you want. It's only fair since you came here with me."
"Excuse me, Lady," One of the girls spoke with a concerned look. "Is that a good idea? These gifts are meant to be for you."
"And I said he can have what he wants. It's not like I can do a lot with a mirror." What were you going to do with it? Just stared at your reflection all day? If Rui wanted a few things he could have them. He deserved some things too after everything he's been through- "WHOA! HEY!" Your hand flew to your head and you snapped your eyes around to one of the ladies welding a brush in one hand who had touched your hair. "What are you doing?"
She blinked her three eyes at you. "Doing..your hair?" She asked unsure. "You have horrible bed head."
"I can do that myself thank you," you spoke calmly holding up your hand, "Also I'd appreciate it if you asked me first before touching my head. I'm not keen on stranger's touching me without asking." You looked around the place and caught another woman holding up a kimono to you while a third held another box. "... Where's breakfast?"
"We must get you ready first, Your Ladyship," the one holding the kimono said holding the many, many layered kimono up to you insistently. "There's lots to do today."
"Like what?"
"There's the unwrapping of your gifts of course and more is coming in as we speak!" An arm tugged on yours as she tried to get you out of bed.
"Then there's all the letters of gratitude you have to write back in thanks!" Another hand tugged on your hair again. "And you've been invited by seven families for tea. You need to sort out the dates you will meet them." You jerked your head back as two other hands shoved their way past the hair and tugged on your face. "There's also your introduction to high society and the tutors who'll be teaching you everything you need to know."
"Know?!" Your vision became fuzzy as you felt boxed in. "Know what?"
"How to carry yourself in high society of course. Your manners now are unbecoming of a lady of your caliber. It's obvious you've never had a proper tutor to teach you proper manners." "Or how to properly dress yourself." "Or have the correct manners and attitude to match your position. Don't worry. Miss Yoko will ensure your new self will be the envy of any man-"
"Get OFF of me!!"
The women all screamed as a blanket was suddenly thrown up into the air and on top of them. Taking the chance you scrambled in the panic out of the bed and crawled along the floor towards the sliding door.
"Mother? Ah!"
A box of expensive looking handkerchiefs fell from his hands as a stronger hand grabbed hold of his arm on instinct and flying he went dragged away by a running form dashing out the sliding door with a bang and into the hallway you fled.
"MY LADY!! WAIT!!"
You ignored their calls of coming back in favor of running down the fancily decorated hallways across the place passing by paintings and rugs and shining things that sparkled so much it nearly blinded you. You passed by other demons who carried objects or heavily scrubbed everything to keep it polished up. They all looked towards you but you ran right past and around them.
"Mother! I haven't had breakfast yet!"
You weren't able to hear what he said as you sharply turned a corner and still ran past surprised faces that glanced at you. Exit. Exit. Exit. Screamed your mind as they ran and ran and ran. Where was it?! Where was it?! Your head felt clouded and full of fog as your feet moved. You ran! Ran out of that room. That situation. That...From those women. Along the shiny decor. Past surprised faces of perfectly fancy demons polishing everything and anything to keep it shining. Past paintings and rugs and things so shiny that they blinded your eyes as you ran Rui in tow. EXIT. EXIT. EXIT-
THERE IT WAS.
A giant sliding door stood there after another twist of a hallway and your feet bolted towards it. The giant door flew open and out across the docks two figures ran. Across the maze of docks illuminated by glowing blue water as you left it all behind as you ran. Koi fish darting away as you stepped. You were nearly there. Nearly towards the end of the docks-
You tripped.
On a board that was slightly higher than the others, just sticking out there enough to catch your foot on. Losing your balance and falling over. Your hand losing its grip on Rui. Purple eyes's fear illuminated by blue moonlight shining from the water. It's rippling surface allowing you to see just how deep your watery grave would be. Eyes snapped shut.
....But there was no splash?
You felt as if you suspended in mid air. Not a thing holding-...No. wait a second. There WAS a a grip on you. A hard grip was square in the middle of your back holding onto your kimono and dangling you from the side of the dock. What the?...You opened your eyes to gaze at the sparkling, rippling water's surface glowing back to you completely bewildered.
"I know I wanted you to fall for me, but I fear maybe you're over doing it, Begonia.~"
...You knew that voice. Your head turned up over your shoulder and met very familiar real colored eyes.
"Now what could scare you so badly that you'd jump into the water?," Enmu cooed at you tilting his head.
....You sighed. "Get me back on dry land and I'll tell you." Surprisingly he did. You were lifted up and back onto your own two feet. Before reaching around to shoo his hand away from your back which he chuckled at. "Thank you for helping me but what are you doing here?"
"In light of a new situation, I've been ordered to investigate an important scientific matter ordered by the Master himself ~," he purred with a wide smile at you. "So I'll be staying here until the matter is settled. Lord Muzan has been gracious enough to let me use his own laboratory.~"
"That's nice but why are you here? Are you here to see Hantengu as well?"
Enmu actually giggled giddily holding a cheek. "No silly.~ I'm staying at the Kizuki Dwell until my assignment is finished. I'm here to make arrangements for my room. But ..I admit there are other reasons as well."
"Oh?... What's that?"
"I need another sample of your blood."
"....Excuse me?"
"There's been a recent development of your blood tests,'' he explained with a smile, "Apparently more and more people smell only a certain type of flower from you. I asked around and apparently Kokushibo links hydrangea to you. And Douma was under the impression that you stink of lotus blossoms when you first met. However they're not the only ones. I spoke to Hantengu's sons while they were imprisoned. All five of them think you smell like aster blooms."
"Really?" You weren't shocked by this point but it was surprising to you...Wait. Kokushibo DID mention Hydrangeas when you both spoke yesterday. "Why is this happening so much?"
"I think I have an idea but I just need a little bit more time to run a few more tests to be absolutely certain what I think is happening to you is in fact happening. You'll need to be a little more patient. But enough about me right now." He tilted his head looking your disheveled form up and down. "....You look a mess. Like you just survived being chased by an animal.~ What's happened to my dear Y/n-chan?~"
You opened your mouth to speak-
"MADAM Y/N!! WHERE ARE YOU?!,"A distant woman's voice wailed.
Enmu blinked as something dove behind him, gripping onto his shoulders and he tilted his head amused at your form peeking over his shoulder and Rui tilted his body watching carefully. "Ah. I see the problem. Oh poor darling.~" A hand cooed reaching up to pat your own hand sarcastically amused. ''Did the servants' over enthusiasm scare you?~"
"They want to subject me to hell!," You hissed at him making him chuckle more. "It's NOT funny! I just told them I didn't want servants and I woke up to three women trying to dictate what I did! I wasn't even served breakfast first!"
"Neither was I. I'm hungry, Mother."
"Rui as well!!" He chuckled again and you frowned stepping to the right to stand next to him and face his smile. "It's no laughing matter. Rui needs proper nutrition provided to him if I want him to remain healthy." You tilted your head. "Isn't that what you said he needed? He needed proper care especially food to safely take his medicine?"
This time Enmu did hum. "....You have a fair point. And it's strange that they would do that."
"Do what?"
"Not serve you dear son food. They're supposed to care for the both of you..not just you, and blatantly ignoring your requests your first night here.." he hummed deeply squinting his eyes. "Interesting."
"Is that bad?"
"It's certainly strange. Right now you rank higher than they are and yet they blatantly deny the boy despite his new position and the clear orders you gave them."
"Not only that! They're all going to try to change me!"
His eyes refocused from thinking and snapped back to you with a hum. "I beg pardon?"
"They're gonna try to brainwash me into some 'high class lady worthy of my position and caliber' because apparently I 'have bad manners that was obviously never taught to me correctly '." You scowled at him as he stared at you. "No one has Time for that!"
"LADY Y/N!!"
You dove back behind the demon as he stared at nothing in particular. My, my, my, my. Well this was certainly an interesting development. No food. No rules being followed. It sounds as if the situation was being entirely dictated by someone else who was ignoring Y/n. Did the Master not explicitly state what care the boy needed for his stay? Well..This wouldn't do. Not only that..They planned on messing with his Begonia's head? Changing her to fit a certain role? Hmm....That meant a change in herself. Which meant a change of personality. Which meant no more of that fiery passion that caused his nerves to stand on fire. The way she'd push him back three steps for every one he walked. After all when was there ever a woman who actually had the gull to throw him around when he was much more stronger than her? He loved the feeling- No. The THRILL of the unpredictability that is Y/n. Never knew when she'd throw him out a window or hide behind him. It was a fun experience he never had before. To change her into a walking copy of every other spoiled rich woman would deprive him of that joy....
The HELL if that was going to happen.
He gave a slight inhale reaching out to pat your hand again. "Well that won't do at all. Let me see if I can get this fixed for you. Then we can see about those blood arrangements.~"
"Just keep your hands to yourself or I'll throw you into the water!"
He chuckled again despite the frown on her face. "Shall we then?"
You didn't move until he started walking forward with you staying right behind him using Enmu as a shield. Rui never took his eyes off Enmu, narrowing his eyes as he followed them back towards the entrance way to the fancy place. He could feel the grip tightening up on his shoulders as they neared, it seemed she was ready to bolt at the slightest hint of them cornering her... Adorable.~ He stepped along with a smile on his face and briefcase in one hand. The sounds of frantic footsteps and distant voices became closer and closer the closer they got. The woman staying right behind him even as the door was pushed further open revealing the tiny Kizuki demon there. It took a moment to really take in what they were all doing. A lot more demons had gathered about babbling to one another or walking around aimlessly trying to get something done as everyone else spoke. But soon one of the men stopped noticing Enmu standing in the doorway, face instantly paling in fear. The demon he was speaking too also stopped talking to turned confused but got the same expression as the first demon. Slowly but surely everyone started looking. Everyone stopped talking. The silence set in as everyone stopped moving to stare petrified at the figure in the doorway with a child still glaring daggers at his side and a woman peeking out behind him with a scowl.
"Such wonderfully shocked faces.~ I did send a message ahead to expect me this morning, so you all shouldn't be so surprised to see me. Unless...Oh. is there something wrong here that I should know about?" A few demons looked at each other uneasy and a few others started sweating. Interesting.~ "Mmm. I think Im a little hungry. Why doesn't someone bring enough food to my room to feed three people? After all, I have guests with me."
With that he started walking again. You didn't stop using him as a shield between you and everyone else. It was like when that Oiran parted the crowd in the entertainment district, the demons parted from the middle of the halls as he walked past them all with a hum.
"Just point out the direction of your room and we'll start from there, Dear."
"Start down that hall-" You pointed a hand. "-and then take two lefts." He started off in the direction you pointed and listened whenever you pointed out a different direction for him to follow until you pointed not at a hall but a room. "There. That's my room there."
He turned his head and looked like he was going to ask you something-
"LADY Y/N!!"
Your head turned. Your eyes widened. "Oh hell no!!"
"HAH!!" Enmu squealed as two hands grabbed his sides and swung him Around to face the upcoming small group of ladies running down the hall towards you all. His face lighting up a pink as you essentially death hugged him from behind. ... before he gave a little shiver and smile over his shoulder. "Why Y/n.~ I never knew you were so forward, and with so many people ar-"
"Finish that sentence and I'll throw you into a train engine!," You growled behind him making him chuckle again. "ITS NOT FUNNY-!!"
"MY LADY!!," Yoko cried holding up the hem of her kimono in order to allow her to run faster. What was she doing here?! She stopped in front of you all with a look like her make up would start smudging any minute. "There you are. We were so worried when you just ran off like that! What ever got into you?"
"Ah. That's what I would like to know."
Everyone looked at Enmu who smiled wider. Everyone paled. Everyone immediately bowed.
"L-Lord Enmu! You're here? With the Lady? AH!! I MEAN OF COURSE YOU ARE!!", Yoko panickedly corrected her earlier blunder that Enmu. Did. Not. Miss. Tilting his head at her. "Y-You both are engaged After all!! Why would you not be with your fiance?! W-We were not expecting you so soon."
"I have gotten that impression." His head tilted more. "Now I wonder just what you all could've done to make my begonia flee like she did."
She visibly went rigid. "....Us?"
"Of course. No sane person would bolt like she did unless she has a reason to or she had a nervous break down. As much fun as it would be to see her break down, I'm under the impression that there's someone overriding her choices here~," he sing singed with a creepily cheery attitude before humming a finger tapping his chin. "Now what on earth could've that been I wonder."
"There was strangers in my room when I SAID I didn't want strangers in there!," You hissed from behind him making him hum. "Not only that, but I had three people I didn't even know trying to touch my head and dress me!" It sent a shiver down your spine. "Not to mention the plan to brainwash me!!"
"Brainwashing. I'm actually very familiar with that concept! Even have some hands on experience.~" He proudly cooed with a hand on his chest. "But the thought of any of you doing that to the woman, who may I remind you I am attracted to by her original self.....Well that thought makes me very upset.~" His voice took a small twist that made you blink at him.
"N-No!! No!! We would never!! Honest, Lord," Yoko nearly squealed in his presence. "I-I merely set about t-to make sure t-t-that she would be prepared for her n-new position is all!"
"By completely ignoring what she asked? By going over her head and dictating what she should want based on your own standards? ....Going behind our backs to change our woman??" No one spoke after that sentence making him hum louder and twist his head to the side with an audible crack of his neck. "What was it she told me? Soon to be taught the proper way to behave for a lady of her position or something close to that? Oh dear, oh dear. That won't do at all. The blatant disrespect and disregard is something I can't overlook here. It would be a shame if the others found out."
"W-We'll fix all the wrongs right away!! P-Please have mercy!! W-We only did what we thought was best-"
"No. Not 'we'. YOU. But luckily for my beloved Im here to fix it!!" His cheery smile and tone return as his head popped back up. "And you lovely ladies have the chance to redeem yourselves! Now the first order of business is for me to just say...If anything of this magnitude happens again, I'll convince the Master to allow me some 'volunteers' for my new wysteria tonic." The air dipped in feeling that even sent a shiver down your spine. "Now on the other hand, would one of you ladies be a sweetheart and bring all of us some food?" His tone shifted again back to happy go lucky. "If I recall, you all never even fed them first before shoving your ideals on her."
"That's not the only thing shoved onto me." He again hummed in question. "Look inside my room."
He paused for a moment before Enmu turned- ?! He blinked amused when two strong arms just grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him to walk backwards still forcing him to stay between you and them until you got to the door and motioned towards the door. He chuckled again, you scowled deeper, and he held up his hands before opening the door. .....Hmm. Now wasn't this interesting? A completely normal room except for the obvious mountain of boxes and gifts scattered everywhere. Oh my, oh my. It looks like there was already some spoiled people trying to get in good with his lady. The thought bubbled up a small but very primal anger in the back of his mind as he turned to face the half bowed ladies staring at him in fear.
"Now what have here? You should know better than to throw all of this on her her first night here. Don't you know what stress that would cause?"
"B-B-But Sir. T-The nobles always traditionally give gifts to a new Lady-"
"Then send them a thank you card on her behalf and tell them all that she's too overwhelmed to be bothered.~" He smiled wider. "If they have any problems with how we handle things then please tell them to feel free to talk to the Kizuki. In the meantime..." He pulled back the sleeve on his other wrist. "I am running behind on some appointments...Set up a room for me close to my fiance and bring us some food. I have some unfinished business to do. Come Begonia.~"
He motioned for you to follow him as he just walked into the room and not wanting to stay anywhere close to the demons who tried to essentially take over your life, you followed quickly followed by Rui. As soon as the door closed , you exhaled a huge sigh of relief allowing your body to relax against the closed door and breath. Gods these demons were crazy. CLICK!! You slowly looked back up and found Enmu with his back to you digging through his open briefcase he had set up on top of the mountain of boxes. He hummed happily to himself rummaging through it meanwhile Rui stood as still as a statue staring at him. Guess Rui still had a bad impression of Enmu from the last time they've been alone with you, but Rui hadn't made any effort to tie him up again....Yet.
"Alright! I found it!," He happily sang with an absolutely cheery voice turning back to you with a clean vile like he usually used to get your blood, a sharp nail already ready to poke your hand with once more. "Now hold still. This won't take but a moment.~"
You rose a brow starting to get tired of this process. "How many times do you HAVE to do this?! I'm starting to think it's hopeless."
"Actually this will be the last time I need it. I just need a present day sample to test and compare it to the older samples. Then I can actually confirm if my theory about your blood is correct."
"Mind sharing?"
He shook his head. "I don't want to spread false information in case I am wrong. If I am it'll just cause more trouble, but rest assured I will tell you once I confirm it. Now your hand please.~"
You deadpanned but sighed and held up your hand- "Ow!"
A sharp prick hit your finger and you found Enmu again pressing the vile against the small cut and blood dropped into the vile. You only watched as he got a decent few drops before he let you go and slapped the cork back on. Staring at the red lovingly with his teal eyes.
"So pretty.~ Your blood always fascinates me.~"
You rolled your eyes already used to his antics. "Nice to know you're taking this seriously." He turned to place the vile back in his bag. "Thank you by the way." He hummed pausing his movements to look back at you. Your hand gestured to the door. "Back there I mean. If you hadn't scared the heavens out of them, they might've tried forcing me into all those things. It honestly scared me for a moment."
He hummed with a blink before smiling again and continuing to put things away. "Well I was able to see your face in despair which excited me.~ So we can call ourselves even for now.~ Besides I can't have anyone going around trying to change my pretty ill tempered mistress can I?~"
"You know the only reason I accepted that 'gift' was because I needed the medicine for Rui, right? I didn't want any engagements. No matter how cute your reactions are, I'm not accepting your love.'' Enmu had paused, his eyes widened at you. "...What?
"Y-You..Think I'm cute?" His genuine surprise slowly twitched into a spellbound love struck look before he giggled like a girl who had just gotten kissed by her crush, hands grabbing his cheeks stained a pink....shit. "Aaaawww.~ My Begonia's already in the denial part of the falling in love stage.~ It makes me so happy!~"
"Enmu, knock it off before I change my mind about throwing you in that water!"
"YES!!" You jumped as he moved quicker than you thought possible and in one moment he was right in front of you clutching his chest. That same love struck look in his eyes staring at you. "Please throw me! Please punch me! Do please do anything as long as I feel your skin upon mine even for a moment.~"
...You blinked before reaching a hand to your temples. "Ah shit. You really do have it bad huh?''
"But of course.~ I love everything about you. That's why I don't want them to change you.~"
...You slowly looked back to him. "You like....me being myself? Well..No offense but I wasn't expecting that answer from you."
"Oh I might seem like that but it's true~," he continued to gush, "And you're the first for everything for me.~ My first time anyone let alone a lady threaten me. Push me around. Defend me. Trusts me enough despite my actions and personality.~ Even now you don't cower away or reject me outright.~ Even when you threaten me I can tell you have emotions aimed just for me behind it.~ Don't you see..Y/n. I love you." He gushed and you blinked when he grabbed your hand. "You excite me in ways I've never been given a chance to feel.~ Why would I want that absent from my li-..." He completely stopped eyes going wide and jaw dropping as that hand reached up to cup his cheek. "....life."
"Alright I get it you love struck fool." You said with a roll of your eyes. "I guess I owe you a little bit of gratitude for all you did for me, and still doing for me. And I can appreciate the honesty at least. But promise me one thing."
He shivered before leaning towards the touch he felt. Hands reaching up to gently hold the hand holding his cheek. "Name it.~"
"When you do get the results of my blood, I would like to know fully what you've done with it. I think I have a right to know that at least."
"Done.~" He then tilted his head sideways and you jumped when a soft pair of lips gently kissed the palm of your hand before the face nuzzled into it's warmth. "Trust me.~ Your blood's story is one I'm most thrilled to tell you.~"
You nodded. "G-Good." You cleared your throat nevermind the slight pink of your cheeks. "I e-expect you to keep your word."
"Do I get another kiss in thanks?~"
You rolled your eyes. "You and kisses. By the way you're acting it's like I gave you the first kiss of your Life-"
"Yes."
You blinked. "What?"
He chuckled again. "Did you think I was wrong when I said you were my first? Your kiss was my first heavenly experience with love.~ And I would not like it to be my last.~"

man... I'm seeing the recency bias in fanfic firsthand this weekend and I'm having mixed feelings about it. putting it under a cut because it's rambly and long.
I don't track my kudos as closely as some folks do, but I've noticed that the AO3 emails have been slowing down lately. which makes sense, as the last time I posted there was in October and I haven't been super active on tumblr lately either.
but I posed a fic yesterday and almost immediately started getting kudos on other works of mine as well – and it's super obvious why, of course: people who enjoyed the fic I'd just posted clicked on my profile to see what else I've written, and checked out my other, older fics. same thing actually happened to a lesser extent here on tumblr, with likes popping up on older posts, presumably because people found my fic masterlist via my pinned post (which includes things like ficlets that aren't on AO3, AU ideas, etc.)
on the one hand, this is awesome! this is exactly how an archive is supposed to function, after all, just like how you go to the C shelf at the library to find more books by Agatha Christie.
on the other, it's hard not to take that info and translate it into "I must continue to produce work so that my older work will get noticed, too." I must keep my name up there among the most recent posts, I must stay visible. or maybe I'm not doing a good job of self promotion; maybe I should try to circulate my own older fics more, maybe I should tag my stuff better, etc. etc.
of course this is only anxious internal pressure, and it's fairly easy to ignore. I'm not in fandom for clout or "engagement," I'm in it for fun. and that kind of thinking is the opposite of fun, so I try not to give in to it. but it's hard sometimes. I mean, I want people to read what I write, and enjoy it, and react to it. I get a lot of satisfaction and validation from others' reactions to my writing, and I'm not going to pretend that that isn't part of the reason why I post my fic!
but I'm also a slow writer, and not very prolific when it comes down to it (for a lot of reasons, ranging from ADHD to a busy real life to my mental health). and it does bum me out a little when there's such a clear difference between the number of reactions I get to my work when I've posted something recently vs when it's been a couple of months since I shared something new. the joy of getting that attention is tempered by this bittersweet, "wow... I could get that feeling even more often if I was just... better." if I wrote faster. if I posted more.
but it also drives home how important it is to circulate posts and older fics! to go past that first page on AO3, to really dive into the tags for fandoms or pairings you love and seek out some older stuff. it drives home the importance of things like rec lists and masterlists, which enable us to collect and share works that may have fallen out of view.
(and yes, it drives home for me personally that I can always be doing more to lift up my fellow writers, to reblog and comment on things I like, so everyone can get that good feeling of knowing someone enjoyed something they wrote.)
anyway. lots of thoughts and feelings over here. and I want to be clear that this is all my own personal stuff – please don't take any of this as judgement or criticism of how anyone else engages in fandom. just barfing my thoughts into the void.

The tiktok au freaks me out tbh. It is not healthy to post all those personal things! It's also super unprofessional for a teacher (or anyone working with kids) to have that much personal info public (and who would want any of it public like that no matter their work anyway). I'm glad other people find it uncomfortable because I see it alot and before I muted it saw sometimes the posts were fine or cute and others it's a frightening description of invasion of privacy and abuse. I haven't seen new posts in a long time (muted the tag) but oh my god. I don't know how popular it is but the fact it's written is not good
exactly!!! it’s also not healthy the way that these people are getting steve’s personal info like eddie is just ‘forgetting’ to turn off tik tok so he blasted all of steve’s info, like none of this is healthy at all! yeah it is super unprofessional for a teacher to have this info out and like i’m in shock how steve hasn’t lost his job yet cuz of what eddie is doing (but also he could’ve and i could’ve just missed that cuz i have the person blocked yet sometimes i still see it lol) honestly this au is sooo uncomfortable because it’s just eddie abusing steve and the creator along with the fan base think it’s cute but even more frustrating that the creator gets so close multiple times to realizing that this is wrong and not cute yet the creator doubles back on what they think!! it’s just gross and honestly i’m in shock about how popular this au is like it even has a tag for itself that’s how popular this au is it has it’s own tag filled with content about it!!

👉👈 can i ask more about the amnesia omegaverse pls? does emmet find out by just naturally recalling things, or does he find the blackmail himself, or maybe even gets shown the blackmail, with the kidnapper thinking that since he has amnesia he’d be disgusted with ingo and himself?
also. Do they just have chandelure straight up suck out this guys soul. I’m sure she’d be up for it lmao— but on that note, how are the pokemon reacting to this? Do they take the opportunity to inconvenience and/or maim the kidnapper at every moment, just shy of outright murder? Sorry ive just been turning this au in my head like a kabob its so good
So, Emmet never recovers any of his memories, they've been like psychically removed on purpose. He finds out about the Blackmail because Ingo tells him. Eventually, after Emmet has made it clear that he loves Ingo the way he used to and he demands to know. Ingo has been avoiding him and it Hurts and plays into Emmet's insecurities about being a burden. If he's too much and Ingo wants less to do with him, he at least wants to be told so and he can willingly back off. Ingo is upset that Emmet thinks that way at all and in the end confesses about their relationship being used against him. The Blackmailer really only has the power so long as Ingo doesn't tell anyone the truth, so at least it can't be used against him for Emmet anymore. That doesn't mean the threat doesn't still hold power over his career and other relationships. How will the public react to finding out that the Subway Bosses are a bonded pair? How will their friends and family? Coworkers and employees? Ingo can't risk this info getting out. For the record, while we haven't completely figured out what the blackmail Is I wanna say part of it is definitely text message records where the twins are just extremely unmistakably gay and bonded partners.
Tbh Ingo's pokemon are not At All Thrilled about everything that's been happening but they Trust their trainer. Especially with the distress of having Emmet missing for a time and not remembering them when he gets back just concerning them more. And those who Did try got to see Ingo punished for their behavior. That pretty much scared them all away from antagonizing. Except Chandalure legit would have straight up soul-sucked the blackmailer if given the chance because not even Ingo would be able to prevent her from protecting him in the best way she knows how. No matter how much confusion and stress there is involved, she doesn't like that Ingo is unhappy. So she's kept away from him so she doesn't cause problems.
The way they finally DO get rid of the Blackmailer is an alpha fight between him and Emmet. Because this guy has done horrible unspeakable things to both of them. Emmet wins but doesn't kill him. At least not intentionally. Its one of those cases of internal injuries being Bad and going untended and succumbing to internal bleeding. So Emmet is responsible, but he didn't directly kill him.
They're both angry about the situation and want to help but before a certain point literally all they can so is watch things happen.

I'm going to put this in a new format, using how I posted RP ads on Reddit as a base. Since this is the only thing on my mind... I figure I'll also post it onto this blog, for anyone who wants to find it! No one probably will, but there's always that hope, huh?

I figure I got everything specific up there, but there'll be more here, so let's go! I work a very early-morning style job that can get insanely stressful. I'm usually up by anywhere from 4AM to 6AM (work days vs. days off), and my work schedule fluctuates from week to week. I'm in the EST timezone, but I don't mind chatting with mates from other timezones, no matter how extreme the difference.
I have seen up to episode 127 of MHA, so I'm between the Paranormal Liberation Raid and the Dark Deku arc. I can RP as any character up to that point, but any who have major character stories/backstories revealed past that are currently off-limits, since I would have to spoil myself on a lot more than just basic details in order to portray them. Shoto Todoroki is also off-limits, mainly because I have an OTP for him and just don't see him with anyone other than a friend's OC. So aside from those restrictions, you are free to ask me to portray anyone for your OC! I like to dig into characters and ships and develop headcanons as we RP, so be ready for some OOC chatter.
The Soulmate MHA universe itself can be explained via my Reddit account, where I made a single post containing every last bit of info I could recall on its machinations. If you haven't guessed by now, yeah, this will involve plenty of reading. I'm sorry in advance. There is also Finley Well's info doc, which is linked in my blog's pinned post.- But don't feel obligated to read that if you aren't interested in the AU itself, or in the concept of how your ship would also function in this take on MHA.
In simplified terms, Soulmates have Words printed somewhere on their body that are written in their Soulmate's native language and personal handwriting from birth. Not everyone has a Soulmate, and some people have multiple.- When the Words are first said by one's Soulmate, they'll glow- and they'll only stop glowing once the person realizes who their Soulmate is. If your Soulmate dies, then, depending on how strong your will/body is, you can live a month without them... Before you also die. Meeting your Soulmate gives you a stat boost- whether just to your actual stats (strength, speed, etc.) or your Quirk (if you have one).
If you are interested, I would gently ask that you check my RP doc before reaching out to me. Make sure to contact me and let me know your pen name, any OCs you would like for me to RP against (please include their info/a link to their info if you can), any Canons you want me to portray for said OCs, and any limits in the RP. If your OC n' LI are minors in the eyes of US law (under 18), then I will only allow NSFW to occur on one side of the RP (YagiFin). If you are not interested in NSFW, then the topic will not be touched on at all.
The RP will take place during the events of MHA. The general starting point is always around the entrance exams, sometimes before, sometimes a day or so into school- I'm fine with whatever floats your boat. It'll take a day (possibly more) of plotting before we start the actual RP, and the RP will gradually diverge more and more from the canon material. So... Have fun, and I hope to hear from you!
