hmm, they both initiated the relationship? ykwim? They both notices they had feelings for each other and just...go from there. they never have like a relationship talk, they just go with the flow until at some point they starts to get comfortable to refer the other as partners. Yes, sort of. A tennis game! And a coffee sesh after, just like canon. They plan this to be just "let's just relax, this case has been really exhausting, take a one day break, L" but when Light got home, sayu asked "how's the date going?!" He immediately said "it's not a date, you watch too many dramas it's rotting your brain" And sachiko gave him a smile while shaking her head at this statement and when he's back to his room he immediately calls L and was like "hey does that count as a date?" and L answers with "depends, do you want it to be?" with a smirk that light can hear.

Light!! The thing is it was said over the phone. He gets more and more comfortable talking with L through calls, since every now and then L travel frok countries to countries. One time he just like "yeah, safe flight. love you, bye" he expected L to say goodnight to him as a response as usual but L was silent and he realised what he just said and realised that he fucking mean it. L seems to still be able to read his mind even thousands miles away so he replies with "i love you too, goodnight". they never missed seeing each other more than that night.

Light because he's the one who's actually bothers to. They ofc annoyed L but he cpuldnt care less to actually get rid of them.

#1: AKANE OWARI

the undisputed champion. this look is everything to me. EVERYTHING. the red-trim cape with the fur. the contrast of the airy, gathered blouse with those skin-tight shiny (leather? vinyl??) pants. the pumps. the belt that screams disco style. the necklace accentuating the tasteful titty window. the red white and gold color scheme  are you FUCKING WITH ME miss owari this look could bring ARMIES to their KNEES in an INSTANT. whoever drew this deserves full creative control of the danganronpa franchise and i’m not kidding

A TIER:

a tier is for the fits that frankly own bones. they’re not as jaw-dropping and legendary as owari, but they’re still razor as hell and deserve to be met with riotous applause.

#2: KAZUICHI SOUDA

kazuichi, i didn’t know you had it in you, but this FUCKS. the character of the pins on the lapels, the sneakers, and the mispinned tie. the absolute CLASS of the suspenders, watch, and tiny round glasses. the handsome slick in the hair now that the greasy beanie is gone. the tasteful highwater. he looks like the host of the larry king show if the larry king show was exclusively about ska bands and he has never looked better

#3: HIYOKO SAIONJI

tell me this isn’t the cutest shit. the colors here are EXQUISITE. the bright notes from the blue on top, the way the soft pink is a perfect middle ground of the pink + white flowers on her sleeves, the subtle way the green in her bow matches the green in her collar, the white petals breaking up the sky blue that might otherwise look out of place? remarkable. stunning.

#4: PEKO PEKOYAMA

the ELEGANCE is EVERYTHING here. the monochrome is offset by just a splash of red that ties everything together with her eyes and the flower in her hair, the checkerboard pattern is visually interesting but not distracting, and her hair in that loose ponytail with the little white ribbon? ugh. ADORABLE! but most of all, look at those BOOTS. those CUTE LITTLE HEELS on those SICK LACE-UP BOOTS..... QUEEN shit!!!

#5: CHIAKI NANAMI

rounding out our a tier is chiaki in this adorable little dress just LOOK at her!!! she looks like a little rose, a perfect flouncy skirt with a glittery mesh overlay, a fun and fresh over-the-shoulder collar, a fucking big old bow tied in the back?? i can literally feel the way this dress would feel in my hands. it’s simple and perfect and frankly a GORGEOUS color on her this is flawless

B TIER:

b tier is a perfectly respectable place to be. these fits lack the lustre and flavor of the a tier entries, but they’re still dressed to impress and they still look fine as hell.

#6: TERUTERU HANAMURA

say what you will about teruteru (and i do) but this suit is ADORABLE and it fits in with his theme + talent better than any other mfer on this list. the tasteful white/brown/red palette gives it a flashy chocolate cookie look, which is amplified in the fun pattern on the jacket. the chef’s hat switching out for a little top hat and the way the cumberbund looks a lil bit like a chocolate bar is also VERY cute

#7: THE IMPOSTOR

now on its own, the suit is just alright. a vibrant pinstripe blue three-piece with the classic red tie wouldn’t land the impostor in b tier on its own... but that FUR COAT, LUXURIOUSLY DRAPED OVER THE SHOULDERS does WONDERS to pull this look together. not only is it worn with “yeah, it’s real mink, no, you can’t touch it” confidence, but it also ties the otherwise arbitrary white loafers into the structure of the look. it’s subtle and class as hell.

C TIER

c tier is full of looks that are... fine, but ultimately either are boring, lack cohesion, or have a confusing design choice or two that make it hard to get all that amped about. c tier is a passing grade, but nothing more.

#8: NAGITO KOMAEDA

there’s a lot that’s good about this outfit, but there’s also a lot that doesn’t really work. let’s start with the good: the slutty loose bowtie and collar, the tight-fitting vest that ends before the hipbones so you can see the belt, the cute little ponytail? (chefs kiss) exquisite, all of it. but the suit itself is boring as sing, and who the hell decided to put the t-shirt symbol on the sleeves??? was it to add visual flavor to an otherwise bland suit? this does NOT have the black/white/red elegance that peko had.

#9: FUYUHIKO KUZURYUU

the silver and gold mob-boss look, complete with matching shoes vest and fedora, are a nice nod to fuyuhiko’s talent! the plaid is teetering on the edge between fun and garish to me, but the fact that it’s consistent and the only pattern means it isn’t too offensive. quick question though: why are his pant legs rolled up like that?? this isn’t a cute “cuffed at the ankle” look, dude looks like he had to wade across a pond to get to the venue. what gives

#10: GUNDAM TANAKA

out of everyone here, gundam’s suit might be the most boring of all. the scarf is just his normal scarf. the red tie and trim don’t do anything to tie the look together. the only mild point of interest is the asymmetrical vest, and i can’t even tell if that’s intentional. simply put, this “““fancy”““ outfit isn’t even in the same ZIP CODE as the level of ostentatious chuuni that gundam serves us every single day in his casual wear. maybe even worse than being ugly... it’s disappointing.

#11: IBUKI MIODA

now, look. is this dress buckwild and ugly as hell? yes. but you know what else it is? it is IBUKI MIODA’S DRESS. there might not be a single cohesive thing about this dress aside from its color scheme. the huge poofy ruffles of the skirt and arm things with the spiked bow and corset are baffling. the artist somehow managed to draw the awkward, clumping shape of the skirt to make it look exactly like an emergency cosplay sewn four hours before a convention. frankly, i can’t justify ranking it as a c! but i’m doing it anyway, because the sheer level of craftsmanship demands it, and in this house we respect diy queens that are totally off the shits.

D TIER:

d tier is for outfits that aren’t offensive, exactly... but like, they sure don’t look good! d tier is not a respectable place to be. those in d tier won’t be laughed out of the ceremony in shame, but they should really run their outfit by someone else first next time.

#12: NEKOMARU NIDAI

now don’t get me wrong: i have nothing but respect for the titties-out look. keeping the shirt unbuttoned all the way down to where the lapels of the jacket end? that’s sexy as hell. however, this flawless idea has a confusing execution. why emerald green and orange? what’s with the... long-sleeved printed (hawaiian?) shirt? why the red pocket square? and the jacket itself, while fitted perfectly along the chest and midsection, has a weird, unflattering scallop shape flaring out at the bottom. i want to like this fit, but there are just too many bad choices.

#13: HAJIME HINATA

oh, hajime... literally nothing about this ensemble is it. the creamy manila suit might have had potential if there were literally any color variation in the vest (or potentially shoes) to give it a little more shape, or even if you just went with a white shirt underneath it! i could get behind a light, off-monochrome look! but that leprechaun-green shirt is downright perplexing to me. it looks like a mistake! did you get dressed in the dark? did you spill something on your other shirt? this is a mess.

F TIER:

f tier is inexcusable. f tier should never have happened. how does it get this bad. who did this? who’s responsible for this?

#14: SONIA NEVERMIND

y’know, the colors are pretty! i dig the white and teal! but... girl... what the fuck is this construction. the ruffles are all over the place. the bodice looks like it has less fabric than space it needs to cover. the bottom half of the skirt looks like it was sewn on as an afterthought because the top half was too short for dress code. what’s with the weird choker collar detached from everything else. why is the hairband a slightly different shade of green. so many decisions were made here and none of them are flattering

#15: MAHIRU KOIZUMI

yknow, i like the idea behind this. i can see what you were going for! the dress on its own might have worked, even! but everything else about it is just... so ugly. what the fuck is happening with those shoes??? the sheer black tights aren’t the sexy OL look you think they are. the collar of the dress looks like it’s... braided for some reason??? those earrings are so huge for no payoff, statement jewelry with nothing to say, and worst of all... that headband. GIRL. that headband and that belt...... there’s nothing here. also i love orange but it’s not her color.

#16: MIKAN TSUMIKI

what the fuck. what the fuck is this. this is straight up cheap rubber fetish gear. why is the HAT rubber? that skirt ruffle makes this look like fucking polly pocket clothes. why the fuck is she wearing that. the clothes are so bad that it makes her hair look like rubber too. was she dared to wear this? is this some cruel punishment? i don’t even know what to say. this is the worst possible outfit. there is not even one redeeming quality about it.

Sakyo is god that was stripped from his throne by his own companions, Sakyo was a god that was betrayed by the people he trusted and now he was nothing, Sakyo lost his kingdome, His throne and was banned in the world he used to own just because he didn't agree on giving his right-handman the throne when he dies

Sakyo was now just some guy with super powers that wonders the universe, he would go on and visit universe to universe, hed meet many kinds of living beings ranging from scary to cute or strong to weak

But sakyo didn't want to get close to any one, not because he didn't want the company, he just didn't want the sorrow of one day that that companion will die or disappear and he wont cause he is immortal and the only thing that can kill him is his own kind

So Sakyo wont stay in one world to more than 3 or 5 years

Sakyo has now found a fairly normal world, no monster, demons, witches, hybrid and human-like animals, no it was normal, no magic, no weird beings too it was...... Peaceful,something hed never thought hed encounter, a peaceful world

He decided to take a little break there, he had found an abandoned land with a small shack and went in and stayed there

He stayed there for nearly 2 years already an dthe towns folk had started to talk about him, they weren't talking ill about him tho, just rumours of what he could be and why he is so secluded and mysterious because he would only visit the twon omce a week to buy a few snacks and come back the next week

Even tho i said they did not talk ill of him but i also said they have speculated what he could be

Some thought he was a monster that didn't eat humans but animals, some say that hes a demon because of his looks and mysterious and quite frightening aura, but those were just speculations of the people that can not be proven unless proven by the man himself, but the towns folk was too afraid to go and ask him thinking their theories could be right but of course there are groups of people whod want to know those are

Childrens

Kids would eavesdrop on their parents talking about the mysterious man and so childrens would start talking about him in school with their friends and dare each other to go and see him

They would challenge each other to see who could stay in his land the longest but the person who meets/talk to the man himself are deemed the best or tge most bravest among the kids

The 5 siblings of course new this and their 2nd youngest, who wanted so badly to be popular, saw this as a possibility to finally be known and stand-out

"And then they'll ALL be amazed and ill be showered with love everyday!" the 2nd youngest yelled, they were eating dinner when the red, haired 2nd youngest started telling them his plan to be popular "so what you're saying is that you've accepted a challenge from that jerkwad popular kid? A challenge that will be at 9 pm in the forest and meeting the" mysterious man"? " brown-ish haired boy and 2nd oldest commented "yea what if that guy is actually really dangerous!" the black haired boy and the youngest, scolded "they're right, plus you're kind of a scaredy cat, i dont think you'll survive even a minute in the darkness" "c'mon guys atleast support me!" the 2nd youngest responded "well they are right taichi-kun" the brown haired boy who was the oldest said "i dont think its worth the risk" taichi pouted "but if you're really diterminated ill come with you" the brown haired boy smiled at him "REALLY OMI-NII?! hi, i’m here for a matchup please!! i use she/her pronouns and i am a straight asexual. i’m a scorpio sun, virgo moon, sag rising, and a libra venus! my mbti is isfp and my top love languages are physical touch and quality time. i’m somewhere between a slytherin and a ravenclaw (pottermore is weird) but i think i’m more of a slytherin tbh. i’m 5’3-5’4 ish, i might have grown or something. i have a slim ish athletic figure since i do ballet and i’m pretty active in general. i have wavy dark-brown-almost-black hair that reaches the middle of my back but im chopping it to my shoulders soon, might fuck around and dye it white or lilac too. when i’m not doing ballet or homework i’m probably experimenting with different outfits (my style is mostly black + white + earth tones and a mix of streetwear and dark and chaotic academia) or i’m sleeping. i’m a busy person so i don’t have a lot of freetime to myself but i try to make the most of what i have. i have a major rbf and it doesn’t help that i’ve been wearing more sharp winged eyeliner, but at least i feel pretty and badass (,: personality wise i’m a quiet person overall, i’m reserved and i don’t have a lot to say but my thoughts are very abundant and diverse. i trip over my words most of the time too if i don’t take the time to calculate and rehearse in my head, but i usually still trip over a word or two anyway, hence the physical touch love language. even if i am quiet that doesn’t mean that i don’t have a sense of humor! you can expect a lot of memes, sarcastic quips, roasts that are coated with love, etc., ESPECIALLY when texting or if im comfortable around whoever im with !! however i do match energies, whatever energy you give off is what ur getting back. i’m a very perceptive and intuitive person, i can read the room and read people easily so i always somehow know what to say. i’m adaptive to everything, however i do adapt to people’s personalities a lot so that has made me a social chameleon. i can fit into any group but i’ve never felt like i belonged, yknow?? still tho its made me well known among my peers. anywho when you get to know me you’ll see just how chaotic i can be, but not the super loud chaotic, more like the “how bad of an idea can it be to give me a knife??” chaotic. i’m resourceful and i do my best to be calculating, but yknow sometimes i act with my heart instead of my head. also im not like.. big on pda, just hand holding or an arm around my shoulder or a kiss on the cheek is fine for me. even then im not like, big on makeout sessions in private either (no sex at all either pls! just tryna be a happy ace), im just here for cuddles and cute domestic shit but also spontaneous 3am adventures and travelling a lot and just all that dumb kids in love thing. i love art history, history, literature, and psychology and other humanitary subjects since im good at them but i have to try significantly hard in maths and sciences (still a top student tho). i’m an absolute night owl bc of this, i’m very sleepy and can fall asleep anywhere but i can also stay awake for a while too. last tidbit i can think of is that there are days where i need to shut myself in my room and not socialize or interact while i recharge. im unfortunately hyperaware of myself and how i spend all my energy on others, so being by myself helps me keep my sanity. i guess i wouldnt mind having my boy there with me for cuddles and being together in comfortable silence + whatever music is playing, i just want him to understand that i cant change this about myself and that i need to recharge. its okay if he tries to get me out of my comfort zone but if he ignores me giving signs that its too much, i dont think we could work. just know that im very loving, even if im not the best at being verbal about it. Worship [Chapter 4]

(This one didn’t really go how I planned, and its kinda meh... Really sorry, but I didn’t want Hanzo and Reader to get along instantly, yknow? Also I’m terrible at descriptions.)

You groaned softly, curling in on yourself as you felt a sharp pain in the back of your skull. What happened? You thought to yourself, reaching back to touch the sore spot on the back of your head, only for your hand to be snatched away from it.

“Do not touch there, I just finished tending to your wounds.” A rough, low voice spoke above you. In an instant your eyes flew open, only for you to wince and groan, shutting them tightly again.

“Who’s there?” You spoke, trying to open your eyes again, only managing a squint at first.

“None of your concern. Are you well?” The voice spoke again. Admittedly, the voice is rather attractive, albeit slightly hostile. Sitting up and refocusing your sight, you turned to the voice to see a man. He had deep black hair that was slightly greying on the sides, worn in a topknot. His eyes were brown, nearly golden, and were fixed in a steely glare towards you.

“I’m… well? I think so. My head hurts pretty bad though.” You said, still essentially staring at the man in front of you. His expression didn’t change, but his eyes did flick towards the back of your head for a moment.

“Unsurprising, considering you foolishly got yourself hurt. I’m sure a bit of falling wood would be easy to avoid if one paid attention.” He said, more-so spat at you. Why the hell was he so mad at you?

“I’m, uh… sorry?” You apologized slowly, tilting your head in confusion. Who was he anyway? The man wore a traditional kimono, hakama and haori included. The fabric seemed to be fine silk, with clouds and golden lightning decorating the ends. Flying through the clouds, was a dragon. If it wasn’t a pattern on fabric, you’d say the dragon seemed content, happy even to be flying through the storm.

“You should be. I did not need to put effort into healing a mortal, not to mention the blood you got on my floors.” The man grumbled, turning away from you. You snapped to attention, your brow furrowing in confusion and anger. He’s mad at you for getting hurt? By something that wasn’t your fault? Who did this guy think he was!

“It’s not like I had a hand in my getting hurt, I don’t particularly like being passed out in a dirty old temple.” You bit back at the man. Stopping and turning on his heel, the man growled at you, anger flashing in his eyes.

“This is not some dirty old temple. This is one of the many temples dedicated to the great Shimada Dragons!”

“Dedicated seems to be an outdated term now. This temple is abandoned.” You scowled at the man who was getting angrier by the second. Honestly you wanted to thank the man for helping you, but not if he was going to have that attitude with you.

“You dare disrespect a Shimada?” His voice turned darker, lower, and more like a growl. The sky outside turned dark and you could feel a cold chill from a sudden wind.

“I disrespect someone who won’t respect me.” Taking a glance outside you stiffened slightly. You certainly did not want to go home in the rain, especially not with a head injury.

“Mortals do not deserve the respect of a great dragon. You’ve done little to earn my respect.” The man’s voice was changing more so, the weather following suit. As you opened your mouth to reply, a sharp clap of thunder shook the temple, and you flinched, expression changing from anger to fear. Taking a step back you looked down instantly, tensing up completely.

You hated storms. Ever since you were a kid you hated storms. The thunder, the wind, the rain, all of it was just terrifying. The man didn’t stop with his angry rant.

“I was once revered and loved by mortals, and to be disrespected by one? Your impiety will bring upon you the rage of a dragon!” He bellowed, the ground shaking and rain beginning to fall outside as more thunder followed. You stumbled back and fell on your bottom, whimpering slightly and covering your ears to block out the sound, and your eyes to shut out the man yelling at you.

In an instant things went still. The wind stopped, the ground did not shake, and when you peeled your eyes open, you could see no rain, no dark sky, and no flashes from lightning. Raising your head and uncovering your ears, you listened, straining to hear any sound from the storm. Nothing. It was quiet.

Turning to speak to the man, you realized that he, too, was gone. Blinking in confusion, you looked around yourself, but the only thing you saw was the empty temple. Slowly standing up you rubbed your head gently. Maybe.. You hit your head too hard. Lowering your head, you started to walk out of the temple, grabbing your bag on the way out.

Man i was just thinking again about that idea i had for a cliche gijinka app card game where the gijinkas are all Interesting Bugs instead of weird sexy anime george washington.

I've kinda got quite attatched to my idea for a leech gijinka as a super cuddly white mage who just happens to look emo and scary. And they'd be a great opportunity for nonbinary representation cos in real life leeches don't have binary sexes anyway. But i cant decide between whether i want them to look like a full plague doctor mask thing or a more cliche cutesy nurse but theyre like super tall and look like the monster girl from the ring so they get sad that people always run away before they can help them! So then i was thinking "hey, alternate skins!" Not like in the other games ive played where there's always one canon skin and all the others require hours of grinding and/or real money to buy. But just that there's like three or so randomized versions of the base character with all the same stats but a different costume. Just to spice up the pool of options a bit! Or maybe it could even be more than just the costume and you can get entirely different reinterpretations of that job class? Like the medusa jellyfish could be either a young kid or a grandpa!

Oh and i'm not really sure how to name this or anything? Cos its not really a clear category of animals, its not all insects or all worms or whatever. More like just..all the animals that are unfairly hated but have Cool Biology Facts that i can babble at u to maybe make u like them more. So i dunno.. Pests? Creepy crawlies? Some entirely made up fantasy term for them?

Also i think the setting will definately be jrpg fantasy! Just a world where all these critters are actually funky people on a comedically bad D&D quest. I wonder who the villains could be tho? Maybe theyre gijinkas of more commonly loved cute animals? Or like.. Not gijinkas but monsterfied versions? Hilariously over the top evil fluffums! hamsters are this setting's dragons! And i dunno maybe the ultimate dark lord is a dog with a cat for a royal vizier or something, cos theyre the kings of popularity.

This could also make it actually make sense why the Clione character could be a beserker like in real life! Cos theyre the most un-hated rare sea slug for looking cute, but their actual personality is big scary predator. But in this universe being seen as cute by humans = evil, so the Clione's fighty doom personality would make perfect sense! Im not sure if i should make them like a tormented Shadow esque antihero or a paladin-looking knight who has a dark streak or maybe even a viking? Cos in videogames theyre like the epitome of 'loves fighting but is still a nice hugs guy'. And it'd be neat to have a chubby buff clione instead of the more cliche bishie gijinka. But then i mean theyre literally nicknamed 'sea angels' or 'sea fairies' depending on country so yeah? Oh or maybe that could mean i make them an elf or an angel but theyre still mega buff! Viking guy with lil chibi wings and halo!

Also randomly i think that Slug will be the other nonbinary character along with Leech. Cos well there's a lot of bugs who dont fit the human gender binary but i'd probably be a bit too obnoxious if i had like 90% enbies and noone else. I always think about like 'if this is my first game project i need to go at a small and reasonable pace with all the Big LGBT Feels', yknow? But then every idea i do is always my first game project cos ive never completed any of them yet XD

Anyway i think Slug would be a more fashionable bishie kind of androgenous character, while Leech is a relateable cuddly socially awkward one who wears a mask. But definately also looks stylish in their own way, and i'm sure Slug is always complimenting them and trying to bolster their spirits! Aside from being super fashionable i also think maybe Slug would be a wandering bard? Cos somehow slow animal -> lazy human -> free spirited instead to be less cliche -> bard. Also the whole 'bard rolls to seduce every boss' meme, lol! So Slug is a very nyeheheh tricksy flirty adventuring song person who aint take nobody's shit. Instead of being sleepy they sleep on the concept of low self confidence! Full and powerful pride at all times!!! Goal in life is to be beautiful AF and handsome AF and make everyone swoon at your feet and also recite an epic poetry so cool that your enemies straight up die from the sick burn. Tho i mean i don't think anyone could actually ACHIEVE that, lol! It might be obnoxious if i actually have a character who's basically 'enby people are literally perfect in all ways'. So i just think Slug is a big ol dork who's like the Gaston archetype of the comically overconfident flirt, but like a good and heroic version who actually respects when people say no to their advances. And is also a great BFF to Leech and tries to help them get out of their shell, because well of course Slug is out of theirs XD

Also actually i dunno whether they should all just be named after the animal or have thier own names but the animal is mentioned on their profile as a job class name or something? Cos it might get awkward once we get to more specific obscure bugs with longer names or ones who only really have a scientific genus name. I'd feel like i'd have to make them all wizards cos their names sound like spells! Oh MAYBE THEYRE SPELLS!! Like each character could chant their own scientific name when they use their ultimate attack??

Oh and maybe Slug and Leech could be just based on the species in general but have their alternate costumes themed after more specific rare subspecies? Like Slug could have nudibranch themed costumes cos the vibrant colours would fit such an elegant fashioniste~ And leech could just be an opportunity to talk about how there's subspecies of leech that dont drink blood, though this character is based on the ones that do because otherwise they wouldnt really have a unique job class, lol. Maybe their rarest alt costume is a fashionable orange ensemble that symbolizes both Slug taking them out for a night on the town in their finest to feel more comfortabke in their self confidence, and also just the fact there's an orange tropical leech. Its kinda funny cos there isnt such a huge range of different colours for leeches, its mostly just different barely visible patterns and a spectrum from greenish brown to brownish black, lol. And then suddenly a bunch of wildly different red and orange ones! And nothing in between! Really does seem like a surprise makeover from your bestie, yknow?

Oh and then when i was thinking about other potential relationships between different magic bug people, i thought of Daddy Longlegs! Cos thats a name confusingly given to multiple bugs of wildly different species who're all mistaken for spiders when they really arent. And this mythical nonexistant daddy longlegs spider also has the myth of having 'the strongest poison but its fangs are too short to bite you' which is COMPLETE nonsense based on nothibg cos how would it even survive in the wild if it cant hunt? But its a real cool myth so it could be an awesome excuse to make them have a move that gambles on either an instant kill or a self debuff. ALSO THEY ARE MARRIED

I was thinking they could be a duo of fabulous zorro-looking assassin dudes who were sent to assassinate each other but instead fell in love and quit the business for good. Like 'you made me want to live again, and the only reason i threw my life away on this job was cos i wanted to die'. And to atone for all the bad mercenary stuff theyd done in the past, now theyre robin hood esque mercenaries who take jobs with world-saving hero groups like our protagonists. And they work for free as long as the cause is just! And they wish they could settle down someday and dream about having children of their own, but they feel like they dont deserve it after all that theyve done. They'd be a rare goofy bugmans that actually have a real emotional backstory! So anyway they're fancy fencing guys who're both the same class but maybe slightly different variants with different stat builds or abilities? More specialized and all. Like maybe one is speedy but weaker and one is slower but stronger? Or one relies more on luck based attacks and one is a consistant damage dealer but has a lower max damage cap? Or even one is status effects and one is attack and really even though they have the same job name theyre wildly different interpretations of it. Fitting for the entomology mistake husbands! I want them to be balanced so that they have special bonuses together but are still viable to use separately if your party setup only requires one of them. Also randomly i think their names would be Albedo and Rubedo? I was originally gonna make Rubedo the name of the leech cos i mean alchemy words and plague masks and all. But then it doesnt really SOUND like an alchemy word, it sounds like a fancy handsome dancer name. And then i started thinking about the cute once-sad-now-happy young assassin dads fighting together so well that it looks like one big dance between them, rather than a battle. And i got REAL EMOTIONAL over goddamn bug gijinkas! Man my heart is made of paper and mush!! Oh and maybe they have combo attacks together but also with all of the party members that are younger? Like special dad instinct combo! A built in ability that they automatically shield the kids from enemy attacks. YOU HIRED A MERCENARY BUT YOU RECEIVED A NICE MARRIED COUPLE WHO PROMPTLY ADOPT YOU. Oh and maybe their alternate costumes could just be each other's costumes? Like they'd already be wearing matching red and white versions of the same thing, but then albino dad wears ginger dad's version and vice versa. Or maybe their alt costumes are different complimentary colour pairs like black and gold or blue and pink? And maybe their ultra rare special costume is Big Cute Dorky Argyle Dad Sweaters! It must be capitalized cos it is IMPORTANT!

Oh and then i was also thinking about the idea i had before of bugs with a queen hive structure being like the workers are the common unit and the breeders and queens and such are rarer variants? But the workers are the only ones actually good in a fight, the others are just for collectables sake. Rare but useless, just like how the real queen bee is so big that she cant leave the hive, and never figjts a day in her life unless the kingdom has already fallen. So maybe queen bee is still unlockable as a rare character but she's just a support that makes worker bee stronger? Like you get a lil event of worker's boss coming to honor her with a knighthood for her good service, allowing her to upgrade her job class. Tho i think she still fights with construction work equipment, now its just like a golden jewelled shovel XD

LETS THINK ABOUT BREAKFAST RPG Protagonist: a cute lil girl of some sort. Maybe named Cherry or Gateau or something adorable. Maybe a cherry shaped hat? Maybe shes like a chef magical girl. Or maybe just use default assets from rpgmaker cos the point is to get the game done and not over think it. And then like a tutorial character/rival who's like THE BRUNCH DEMON or something! Some really inexplicable reaper-lookin monster who has a goofy cute personality and is protag's friend/enemy/Robbie rotten. She runs a rival restaurant, comes in like plankton to steal le secret formula but also inexplicably constantly pops up in the tutorials, having a tea party with protag on the loading screen, etc. Self-sabotaging helping the poor kid out because deep at heart she's a nice ol monster! And then the third character is just The Office Guy. Some completely ordinary working Joe who has a breakfast magical girl pop into his life for no rational reason. *toast keeps appearing* *screams* First level is just you making him breakfast (and him freaking out), then you progress through stuff like impressing his boss with a birthday cake or whatever, to improve the poor sod's life. (While he continues screaming at all this magically appearing food, probably starts seeing a psychiatrist) And then eventually he just accepts it and you open a restaurant together. ...and then he has to compete against this giant monster brunch chef, and starts screaming all over again. STATS AND ELEMENTS! Maybe just keep stats exactly the same but give them funny renames? Or rename em to what they symbolise within this particular game. So like... Maybe speed = overall cooking skill? Cos it means you can attack faster and use more actions before the end of the time limit, its basically the most important skill for making complex foods. And I dunno, attack and magic attack could be... Cut and whisk? Savoury and sweet? Food and drink? If you had to divide all breakfast items into only two categories, how would you do it? I'm not sure what to do about the two kinds of defense. I mean.. I know what I want them to be but its hard to summarise it in one word. Could just be like defense against food based injuries (burning, etc) and defense against food-spoiling moments (getting eggshell in the bowl, overcooking, etc). Like one is actual defense and one lowers the odds of random events that harm you. So you get less penalties for failing. Oh, or maybe just have it as savoury defense and sweet defense and then luck affects your failure penalties/success bonuses? But I wanted to rename luck as ~love~ and say its the most important ingredient! XD "Elements" would be where the cooking styles come into play! Enemies would have a lot of tags, like tomato is savoury, fruit AND vegetable, and classed as an entree rather than a main dish component. Can only be used as ingredients, toppings and side orders. And most food would have a flavour but I dunno really what to define tomato as? Or potato. So there should be a sort of neutral flavour element that's just as important as the others. Like.. Calm flavour. Balance flavour. Foundation flavour. That's what potatoes and breads and carbs are, they lower down other flavours and act as a base to absorb those flavours, yknow?? They're important! But tomatoes aren't the same even though its hard to categorise them into a flavour. Maybe flavours can combine to make flavours? Tomato could be like... Salty + sweet? Maybe everything has a particular amount of each flavour that they contribute to the dish. So tomato would give +2 salt and +1 sweet. And +1 moist or something. And then your attacks are divided into multiple elements separate from the food elements. Your elements are all cooking techniques, like boil, chop, etc. And levelling up elements unlocks more skills for each one, like triangle cut or finely chopped or minced, or a passive skill that let's you cut tougher stuff like steak! And maybe it'd be clear cut weaknesses like sweet items are weak to mixing, or maybe its just individualized for each ingredient enemy and acts like the real ingredient in real life. I mean it'd be weird if tomatos were weak against going in a fruit pie or whatever... And then like... Combatttt!! I could just go with really basic default battle system but I wanna do elemental madness! And I wanna make it so you have a limited amount of turns, cos that means certain skills wouldn't be viable early on if they take too long, ensuring a good learning curve without having to limit the options too much. Like maybe complex chopping deals less damage but gives better results, so you have to fight harder to achieve that sandwich! Whereas you can just smash the tomato for a one hit kill and have a terrible sandwich. Triple weak to kneading, but logic dictates you ain't wanna do that :P (...maybe get an achievement called Undyne for seeing all the critical fail cut scenes? XD) And I dunno, maybe if you can't defeat the enemy before the time limit you just get an undercooked food that loses some points. And maybe if the enemy defeats you its like "somehow you slipped on a tomato and broke your back" Office dude better appreciate what we do for him! This kitchen is a deathtrap! And maybe early on you just have to complete the recipes the computer gives you, only being able to get bonuses/penalties depending on time taken and etc. Then you can start deciding how you wanna behave during battle- like triangle cut sandwiches or swapping the salad dressing! Then you can actually start selecting from multiple recipes, and multiple ingredients. It just says 'sandwich' and a vague description of what the person likes ('spicy' and 'traditional' and 'vegetarian') and its your job to figure out what to pick to satisfy that. Like maybe they don't want a hoagie or a toastie, and maybe they'd prefer brown bread? And definately can't rely on the easy +5 spicy sausage, we have to battle the far stronger peppers this time! And all the time we'll be seeing new recipes with longer steps and stronger ingredients!! And maybe move on to satisfying multiple customers at once? Have to make a food that contains all their fave things without getting so complicated that it defeats you. Or have no information about what they like and you have to just make multiple dishes that try and cover the full spread of logical possibilities so everyone is happy. At least one vegetarian option, and take care to make sure there's no nuts or gluten on ANYTHING cos we dunno which one the allergic coworker will eat! And then you can move on to outright alchemizing your own recipes by combining different ingredients in a practise mode. You don't get any penalty if you're wrong, and you can help out later missions by unlocking more recipe options, but you still have to pay for ingredients in order to practise. And I'm gonna make sure it is actually possible to win with just the default story unlock recipes, even if it might not be as easy or be able to get five star results. Oh, and probably a mission replay practise mode and/or sidequests, where you can make more money and grind for experience! Maybe even be able to get relationship points with different characters? Like, every day there's a repeatable side quest to keep making breakfast for office guy, like you did in the first level. And it gets more complex as you go on, so you could be making the world's best sandwich by the end! I think maybe also have some kind of morals meter for the [plot thing] that decides what ending you get. Like its not actually good and evil, but its a positive ending and a negative one. Like the best ending requires friendship with both office guy and rival demon, and higher [certain stat]. But you could also get like... Low stat rival demon ending has you selling out to her and the restaurant becomes awful and office guy lives in a cardboard box but at least you're rich. And positive ending might be that you still ditch office guy and fly off together, but you decide to travel the world finding other people in need of cheering up via magic breakfast and bring much happiness to the world~ Its lonely cos you always have to say goodbye to your human friends but at least you have demon rival buddy along for the ride in your immortal brekkie quest~! So yeah! A lot of ideas! I most definitely won't get them all done during the timeframe but I could at least hopefully make a playable demo. So like... Try and get as far as possible using default rpgmaker assets and basic framework, then release it as a teaser for people to see. If it does well then I have a whole bunch of ideas already on how to expand it into a full game, and I could draw fully original art assets and cutscenes to enhance the fun~! I just need to try and decide what the time limit is gonna be and when I'm gonna do it. And raise a lil hype from my friends cos seriously seeing comments and crits on my work is what motivates me beyond all else! Oh, actually, maybe I could do like... Multiple challenges?? "Hey bunni see how much you can make in one weekend" Then release that demo, and see people's comments and crits. Then if people are interested I could try working on it for a week next time and see how much I can improve it! And so on! That'd be good, with feedback and breaks in-between and stuff. And if one idea fails then I can just go back to the three day challenge with a different idea next time ^-^ Making a game out of making a game is a good way to get used to becoming more confident~! Maybe when it gets going then people could even add bonus challenges or something? I'd keep a tally of how many of these challenges I've done, and pretend its 'points', so I have a clear perspective on how productive I'm being. And then bonus points for how much positive response I got from the project, or how many downloads, or something. And then people can start throwing in requests like genre or how many words of dialogue or 'hey, include a shape shifting skill' or 'it has to be only black and white'. That'd help inspire me on what to do AND be challenging fun! And bonus productivity points for learning a new thing!! THIS IS A GOOD CONCEPT YES I could make like a points counter page or sideblog or something. Maybe have a lil doodle of me as a cliche RPG fighter character and when I hit point milestones I level up and draw a new outfit! And switch to magician or whatever when I run out of ideas. Need to find fun ways to motivate myself!!! I have dumb anxiety compulsions to count the tiles on the floor like that'll somehow make my luck better, counting nonexistent points is a nice way to make it less dumb. And making the reward be just the right to draw myself in a cute outfit means I'm guaranteeing I'll draw at least one thing that month, and drawing is a reward and not a job. And k dunno, maybe later on make the rewards stuff like 'you get to work on the big idea you actually wanted to do', so games are a reward not a job. Or 'you get to go to the cinema', so going out alone in scary crowds is a reward not a job. Or just even earn the right to buy a caffeine drink once a month and then that's a better way of beating my addiction! I've been trying to go cold turkey but I've never made it past 15 days cos there's really no reward or incentive or way to tell if I'm doing good. And sometimes I feel like having a lil energy boost would actually help me with finishing a project or something, versus when I'm just drinking it every day for no reason except yum. So if I can have one drink a month I might not even necessarily drink it right away, I'd save it for the last day of a challenge when I'm racing the deadline~! Lotsa ideas!!!
