1 : Soap never had any idea that woman wanted him carnally, he's not the most observant on that front (he never noticed Ghost flirting with him and thought his love was one-sided for the longest time, but tbf Ghost was also very discreet about it)

2 : He sewed the hat, eyepatch and hook himself, because he's the best uncle and then got distracted as he was wrapping it up, so now he's watching a tutorial on youtube about how to build a voice box. Honestly how hard could it be, he builds explosive devices as a hobby (listen, Price doesn't have to know)

3 : He is out to his family, but doesn't want his mum to know he has a boyfriend because he knows she'll insist on meeting him and welcoming him to the family and making a big deal out of this, and he knows that Ghost isn't ready for that.

4 : Christmas is obviously a very hard time for Ghost, but he is very very in love with Soap and some days still can't believe that it's mutual, but then his Johnny does something like that and his head gets quieter while he's melting a bit.

5 : For the people that didn't see my other post : the bird is a Caique parrot, and they're supposedly very energetic, a bit loud, medium sized, unintelligible, very friendly to what they consider their family, adventurous and danger prone, with an explosive personality and a hate of boredom, so basically the adhd bird.

this is such a solid show so far, i dont even know what to say. episodes feel long, but they're not boring. they're lingering, they last. it takes everyday emotions and everyday experiences and lets them play out; it confers importance to the small things. the story and overall plot-per-ep is simple yet genuine, and everything and every character feels so lived-in. i like the mix of fun and serious, i like the steady growth and trust between mork and day and the little buds of tension starting to bloom. i love the way the camera brings things to the forefront of the viewer's attention, the way expressions are shot and how long those shots are allowed to last on screen...you really feel the emotion coming through, and it really impresses me from both an acting and directing standpoint.....im just rambling but the jist of it is that i'm really enjoying this

#*gestures wildly* p'aof makes this shit look effortless #he comes up with the most original things and then makes them feel justified and ordinary #like the inflatable dinosaurs - oh yeah those were from a costume party years ago #its all just to show day having a little fun and i love how that...gets attention #like theyre not *trying* to build the romance theyre just telling a story #does that even make sense??? bc obviously the story is building the romance #it just all feels really natural and believable even though its only been 3 eps #it feels like its been longer #the characters are already changing but it doesnt feel like its moving fast #MAN. MAN!#last twilight #jimmy and sea are really selling it and so is everyone in the supporting cast #it all feels very entangled while still giving the most focus to the mains -you really see the story from their perspectives #IM. Day 4, surprise, Fossil Fighters Champions art! Got Tophis, the neutral element Vivosaur that's a HUGE snake! I literally jumped when I first saw this thing, then, got super lucky with a giant dark fossil! It was fate! And I gave my snake the silver head fossil, which changed the colors to all silver!
