Did anyone miss the Madrigal triplets? Well, generally the same for them, but miraculously some of them haven't torn each other's heads off. Yet.

Back to the times when Almo was happy that he had three healthy children and that the fate of the entire village did not lie on his family's shoulders.

"About them" 2/3
So not everything went according to plan for "peaceful talk". Anyway, it's hard to expect a different finale of the conversation on a topic that has been discussed almost every day for several years, always with the same answer. Bruna is definitely Almo's most stubborn child and he doesn't enjoy that as much as he doesn't enjoy the thought of having to accept her choices. Well, it's hard to say if these choices are as bad as her brothers ones… Anyway, in Casita, even in the middle of the night, you can't talk calmly because the walls have ears and someone can interrupt.

"About them" 3/3
This time there will be no more valuable text, just the end of the comic about the supportive brother and still bad Almo. Ah and Bruna ends up with a headache. Originally this comic was supposed to have a different ending but I changed my mind, generally I have quite a dynamic time in my life (hyyy again) and it's hard for me to say how often new arts will appear. I have a lot of sketches and little time to finish them so. 🙂

About them" 1/3
Almo, who really goes out of her way to look like the worst dad/grandfather of the year, is back.
When he found out that his daughters-in-law were to give birth almost on the same day, he wasn't very excited, of course he didn't wish them anything bad as he knew best that childbirth is nothing fun, and on the other hand, this made the magic of a miracle pass on to the next generation. But fact that his sons were to become fathers annoyed Almo so much that disgust would pass very easy on this children, maybe if they were girls it would be better? But they were boys, both of them so. Probably every adult man in Encanto would love his sons to have sons, but Almo just wanted stability for his daughter, in way he imagined. After all, Bruna is very interested in her nephews... maybe this is a good reason to bring up an old topic again?

Almo and the only one who can make Almo pure smile  It's been a long time since Abuelo showed up here, but this time has finally come. So, unlike the original, Bruna was his golden child and stayed that way forever, which greatly influenced her character and greater openness to people. She didn't have to hide visions at Casita because she knew she was safe in Almo's presence, and spending most of the day with him was the norm for her. And that was something Almo wanted, he always believed that his daughter would take the family line and that was the main start of the conflict. This is because with age Bruna daughter noticed that the everyday life in their house was not normal at all, she was favored, and with time she "specially" started to oppose the "good will about a happy life" that her father planned for her. It was something that drove both of them apart and in the end they couldn't reach each other. For him, growing old with person he loved, with children and safe home was the most natural thing he wanted and one he believed - had destroyed. So how could his daughter knowingly want to give that up? Why were his sons the ones who followed this path, and yet he couldn't be satisfied? And why didn't his daughter trust him with the most important vision he could ask for when he trusted her implicitly? Bruna was the only one able to see his nature, emotions and tears, and then for 10 years be the only one who listened to his occasional cries when Almo was helpless, just stared at candle in the darm, alone, not wanting to let go of thought that the promise he made to his wife will become a lie when the entire Madrigal family falls apart. But well, these are future issues, now they can walk little streets of Encanto and talk about things that should only stay between them, mostly about t h o s e visions we don't talk about.

ENCANTOBER GB - miracle What's a greater miracle than the Madrigal family itself? This loving, not at all toxic and supportive family. <3 Okay, but the real miracle is they haven't killed each other yet, does that count?

ENCANTOBER GB - generations I wanted to show how the blackness is slowly absorbing generations and each new generation of the Madrigal family, you understand the allusion? In general, I don't really need to say anything about Almo's bad influence on his son, and then on his grandson, right?

2/3 "My name is ..."
(Since you liked it with Pepe, I decided to do a follow-up mini comic with my  GB AU!)
Bruna has been her father's favorite for as long as she remembers, but as she grew older, she began to notice that the pools of positive qualities he could tell about her did not sound like her. In fact, from an early age, the little girl realized that bent truth is pleasant and gives us the opportunity to feel better, especially when the truth was unfavorable. "Your future turned for the worse because you wanted to cheat destiny and get to know it too soon" she always defended herself when the townspeople were angry with "false visions". But the visions were real, it was Bruna who lost herself in what was more pleasant, not real. The problem is that if you're lying all the time it's hard to stop, especially when a fake hint of you is perfect.

1/3 "My name is ..."
(A little comic about Encanto Genderbend! ⚡️ ) Pepe is a stereotypical middle child, he completely disappeared in the shadow of little his sister, who was idolized by her father, and in the consequences of anger at his older brother, which Almo showed all the time. He hated that he had to keep an eye on Bruna or carry things around Juliano's stupid booth. Or at least he had to be for everyone in the village, with no time for himself and the need to control "his clouds" - as his father kept saying. And the worst part was that, as he moved away from his siblings over time, they grew closer even if they saw each other less during the day than Pepe saw them. In the end all the bitterness in him could only grow.

"But they didn't" is my new story at AO3! Generally, I can't do anything better with the link sooo https://archiveofourown.org/works/40124634 Basically when it comes to the Spanish translation it should be "Good morning" and "Come down", I hope it is. And the rat is pregnant, which is actually quite important. I hope you will read. <3

est page of the comic~ Bruna quickly noticed that telling people what they wanted to hear was much more profitable for her than telling the truth, and she could always add that curiosity to see the future might bring them bad luck. They could believe her or be forced to believe by Almo so.

In general, pregnancy is a very delicate topic for me in GB, so let's just say that childbirth in this AU was so hard for Pedra that she wouldn't even be able to carry her children, so Almo wrapped them in a black bedspread that was nearby (because I admire Alma for the fact that she was able to hold three newborns steadily, sometimes even with one hand) and they left. Pedra stood in front of the soldier with the last hope that even murderer could show a little heart to the little young woman who, as a sign of peace, raised her hands and at the same time realized that she was too weak to run anyway. And you know, if she fainted, Almo could only carry her if he gave babies to someone else ... and that was not an option for her. And yes, this cloth was worn by Almo on his shoulders in memory of his wife, because in the end it was one of the few home things that was left.

Oh yes, and the names. This is bonus for smile! :DDD

Honestly if Pepe is this bitter against his sister I can just imagine the fight if she told him on his wedding day that it looks like it going to rain. Then to make it worst he is seen as the bad guy. I think at that point he might actually physically fight his sister.
You see, Bruna grew up in the belief that she was better than her brothers and her character was therefore different from Bruno. She knew that if Pepe got into trouble with Almo, Juliano would have moments of peace, so she'd screwed him up on purpose.
Even if she wanted to be nice to Pepe once, in this eyes his sister just wanted to ruin his day, perhaps one of the few when he was in the spotlight, I'm sure he would just snap. I don't think he hit her, all children's fights definitely ended badly for him - no matter who started, so he had a code that he couldn't do it. But a lot of unpleasant words and a big hurricane are definitely another matter. I think the person who could physically touch someone was Almo who brought his son to his senses with a slap tho.
Add to the fact that probably the conversation between Bruno and Pepe was supposed to be private, so he turned out to be the bad guy in the eyes of others. And then it rained all the time.
I think in the movie that Pepa and Bruno didn't talk about the wedding day was a plot hole … but here it really doesn't surprise me. It's a miracle if they talked at all.
