Lifepath #’s most likely to be social media influencers
Tumblr media
3 - number of comedy and communication similar to gemini energy (one of the best numbers in my personal opinion except they are often gossiped about quite a bit)
ex: mr beast, charli damelio, tana mongeau, keith lee, emma chamberlain, nara smith, trisha paytas, noah beck, hamzah, zoe laverne
7 - number of technology. this is also the number of food so these people tend to blow up more from videos involving food. they also do well as gamers
ex: rheagan coursey, gina lynn (the chick fil a sauce viral vid girl), madeline argy, markiplier, pewdiepie, vinnie hacker, lexi rivera, alex cooper
8 - the number looks like two 3’s put together so these people can be humorous and strong mouth pieces. this is an underrated influential number. it’s also the number of power and money
ex: jake paul, katie ritchie, jake webber, brooke scholfield, druski, baby ariel, sssniperwolf
2/11 - the number of charisma and influence. they tend to get a lot of hate unfortunately
ex: logan paul, ksi, woo wop, ishowspeed, james charles, larray, lele pons, fanum, avani gregg, fannita
13/31 - underrated number of influence similar to 33 except u must work hard for it with this number. these people tend to create trends
ex: tara yummy, kai cenat, alix earle, jeffree star
Tumblr media
Bonus -
5’s/9’s. they can be good for social media too but they’re good for literally any type of entertainment. they’re more likely to go farther than social media even if they initially blow up on there (ex: addison rae, jules leblanc, dixie damelio, brittany broski, josh richards)
37’s. the combo of 3 and 7 is beneficial for influencing (ex: bella poarch, zach justice)

Contemporary: September 21st, 1944. Zetten-Andelot, Netherlands.
Alix’s hearing surfaced from unconsciousness before her vision did.
“How bad is it? How did she get here? Is she going to make it?”
Jesus, she thought groggily, still comfortably enveloped in a thick mental fog. Wonder who's going to kick the bucket?
Whispers seemed to surround her, accented by clinking metal and distant...Were those explosions?
“One question at a time, Captain," a stern voice replied to the other and Alix cracked an eye open, curious to take in her surroundings.
Her vision was still blurry but she could just barely make out two figures a few paces away, the clearer of which was a taller man with dark hair and a frown so deep that it was visible even from the side.
"Gio?" she croaked hoarsely, the name burning in her throat like she'd swallowed a hot coal.
Both people instantly ceased their conversation, turning to look at her. But as their faces slowly came into focus, Alix felt her heart sink.

One was an old man and the other was Nixon.
Neither were Gio.
“You took a pretty bad fall yesterday, kid.” The dark-haired man explained slowly and Alix squinted, trying to force her exhausted eyes to cooperate.
“About two stories, almost a thirty foot drop. How are you feeling?”
The young woman grimaced, her head still pounding mercilessly with every breath.
“Like I’ve been run over by a Mack Truck.”
Nixon cracked a small smile.
“That’s fair.”
His companion approached her bedside, stepping out of the blurry background and Alix noticed his blood-stained coat instantly, flinching away from him.
The older man seemed unfazed but sensing Alix's apprehension, Nixon stepped in to play mediator.
"This is Doctor Vanderbeek," he stated calmly as he gestured to the man beside him.
Vanderbeek, Alix mused, trying to parse through her brain's thick fog. Vanderbeek is Dutch, isn't it…?
"It could have been much worse, you know,” the doctor commented, interrupting her ponderings with his quavering voice.
His graying hair stuck out in tufts and he held boxes of bandages under both arms. “You are lucky to be alive, Miss…”
He leaned slightly, searching the yellowing paper tacked to the foot of her bed for a name.
“Martinelli,” Alix responded grudgingly and he nodded before soldiering on.
“You sustained a Grade 4 concussion along with a split lip, a wrist fracture and a dislocated ankle but other than that and a few minor contusions and abrasions, you seem otherwise unharmed, thank heaven."
"How did I get here?" Alix asked weakly, struggling to sit up but her head ached too badly and she slumped back down in her cot. "Where even is 'here'?"
Even her eyeballs seemed to ache and as she glanced around, she noticed seemingly endless rows of cots just like her own stretching throughout the brick building, wall-to-wall and door-to-door.
The occupants were almost exclusively male, each of them coated in blood and sweat like her, each of them outfitted in the same faded blue pajamas she wore...
There was the low rustles of hushed conversation, punctuated by soft groans and the bustle of medical personnel swarming like buzzing bees as they went about their business.
The air reeked with the metallic stench of blood and rot, smoke and the sharp odor of disinfectants.
Was this some sort of fucked-up training exercise? Had she failed?
Nixon put his hands in his pockets and exchanged glances with the older man standing next to him, as though they were having a silent debate over what would be best to say.
"You're at the Zetten-Andelot aid station," Nixon answered finally, seemingly trying to break the news to her as slowly as possible. "In the Netherlands. As for how you got here…"
He chewed on his thumbnail for a moment, seeming troubled, before finally responding.
"Some guy brought you. Glasses, dark hair, mid-thirties, civilian clothes. Brought you straight up to one of the medics in Arnhem yesterday, then left on his bike. I couldn't catch up in time."
Alix couldn't help the pity swirling in her stomach as she watched him speak. Nix looked older than she'd ever seen him and more tired, as though the weight of the world was on his shoulders alone.
She knew he hated her but even still, she felt bad for worrying him. As her handler and an intelligence officer, he had enough on his plate.
"Do you remember your name, young lady?" the doctor asked from his place beside Nixon, interrupting her thoughts.
"Alix Musetta Martinelli," she recited easily and she could see Nixon stifling a chuckle at the theatrically-inspired middle name her parents had chosen for her.
"You have a problem with 'La Bohème', Nix?" she challenged and the bemused officer shook his head, shoulders still shaking with unvoiced mirth.
The elderly Dutchman was not as amused, peering at her through comically-oversized spectacles like she imagined an owl in a newspaper cartoon might.
"Can you remember your birthday, Miss?"
"Of course I can," Alix scoffed. "April 18th, 1921."
"And the current year?"
"Oh come on, that's easy. It's 194-"
But before she could finish, a commotion from the blurred periphery interrupted her and a young man burst onto the scene, pushing past two nurses and breaking free of a harried-looking medic to make a mad dash for her side of the room.
Warning shouts of "Corporal" and "Goddammit, Joe" filled the air, making Alix's skull pound mercilessly.
The soldier's head swiveled, his eyes seemingly searching the room for something or someone, before they landed on Alix's crumpled form and his pointed, handsome face cycled through recognition and relief to shock and horror.
Even her case officer, Lieutenant Nixon, seemed to recognize the urgency because he took a step back, allowing the frantic soldier to rush to Alix's side.
"Fuckin' Christ," the young man breathed, his voice softening immediately as he took in her injuries and registered her weakened state. "What happened, ziskeit? Are you alright?"
Alix blinked in confusion, the dull ache in her head beginning to heighten to a buzz.
Zee-skite...Was that German?
The soldier tried to take her uninjured hand in his but Alix immediately yanked hers away, the familiarity of the gesture setting her on-edge.
"Don't touch me," she bristled. "I don't know you."
The young man's deep brown eyes went wide and he flinched as though she'd slapped him, his dirt-streaked face ghostly pale.

"Oy Gevalt," he mumbled, running a shaking hand through his brown hair before looking up at her again with fear-filled puppy eyes. "Oy Gevalt, oy Gevalt."
He glanced over to Nixon helplessly but Nixon looked just as concerned and the young soldier turned back to Alix.
"Zees, please tell me you're kiddin'," he begged, his raspy tenor sounding almost pained. "Please God, tell me you're just fuckin' with me."
Alix suddenly felt a pit forming in her stomach. She didn't know why but she suddenly felt violently ill.
"Why would I be?" she asked, brows knitting in confusion. "I don't know you."
For a brief second, Alix thought she saw grief flash like lightning across the soldier's handsome face, recognition of the feeling knocking the wind from her like a punch to the gut.
It was the kind of grief that brings you to your knees, violently ill in the bathroom after the funeral.
The kind of grief that sends you collapsing to the carpet in the room they once called theirs.
The kind that leaves you screaming, sobbing, raging against the heavens for robbing you of the only person who ever understood you.
Except…
There was something else there, something more.
"You really don't remember me...?" the soldier asked, his gravelly voice breaking and Alix could see the tears threatening to well in his warm brown eyes.
"I don't, I'm sorry," Alix replied weakly. "Should I?"
Instead of answering the soldier turned his head away quickly, glaring down at the ground beneath his boots.
After a second of attempting to gather himself, he tried to dig out a faded carton of Chesterfields from his pocket but his blood-stained hands were shaking too much and the pack slipped from his grasp, landing on the floor with a small plop.
That seemed to be the last straw.
"Lieb," Nixon had protested quietly, reaching for his arm to take the young soldier aside but the younger man was having none of it.
As quickly as he'd come, the young soldier was gone, tearing out of the building like a hurricane, the only proof of his presence lying next to the cot, on the floor.
After a moment of stunned silence, Nixon finally knelt to pick up the cigarette pack, tucking them into his pocket with a heavy sigh.
"Alix…" her case officer intoned in a voice better suited to comforting a wounded animal and the young woman thought it strange that he was calling her by her first name, as though they were friends. As though he hadn't spent the last year making her life hell during her training.
"Who was that?" the young woman demanded, feeling some of her old fight returning and she managed to push herself into a sitting position.
Her head buzzed louder in protest but she needed answers.
"What did he think he was doing, trying to hold my hand? Talk about fresh!"
Nixon studied the ground for a moment before responding, his voice quiet and cautious, clearly trying to avoid shocking her.
"Alix," he said again, in a tone far gentler than she'd ever heard from him before.
"That was your boyfriend. That was Joe."

🌟Mfred's Best Books of 2022🌟
Comfort Me with Apples by Cathrynne M. Valente
Original Review
It’s a fairy tale retold, a myth re-examined. It’s a mystery, a thriller, and a horror story. But it’s so much more, too. I was mesmerized - trying to understand what was going on, then understanding too much, with a dawning sense of horror at how it would all end.
The Duke with the Dragon Tattoo by Kerrigan Byrne
Original Review
This book put me through the wringer, you guys. I came out the other end definitely dehydrated from crying so much, but also filled to the brim with love and life.
Even Though I Knew the End by CL Polk
Sapphic. Urban Fantasy. Noir. Do I need to say more? OK, I will anyway! Chicago in the winter. Dames smoking Chesterfields and hunting serial killers. Underground queer nightclubs. And magic! And a swoony romance!
Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White
Original Review
Don’t be fooled, Benji is really turning into a monster. White pulls no punches. Bloody, gruesome, and terrifying. It’s so queer, so righteously angry, so necessarily vengeful. But it also holds a place for the tenderness and hope we all need to truly survive.
Thirteens by Kate Alice Marshall
A spooky and super creepy Halloween read, especially for a children’s book! Plus, the power of friendship, loyalty, and believing in yourself.
The Mind and the Moon: My Brother's Story, the Science of Our Brains, and the Search for Our Psyches by Daniel Bergner
Challenges the science behind mental illness and standard pharmaceutical treatments. At once eye-opening, engrossing, and also emotional.
A Mirror Mended by Alix E. Harrow
Lucky you! If you didn’t read the first in this series, you now get to read both amazing books! This time we see what happens when the Evil Queen wants a better ending to her story. And also what it means to survive a happy ending.
My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey
Original Review
I loved Myles. I loved his struggle. Every time Taylor did or said something, his heart clenched or he got sweaty or he desperately wanted to kiss her. He’s big, he’s tattooed, he’s unshaven and rides a motorcycle and he is a total dummy about his emotions. It’s great.
Paper Girls, Vols 1-6 by Brian K. Vaughn, Cliff Chiang, Matt Wilson, & Jared K. Fletcher
Friendship! Time travel! The 1980s! A war between teenagers vs. grownups! This graphic novel series has it all. And the artwork is amazing.
Patricia Wants to Cuddle by Samantha Allen
Ok, how do you feel about The Bachelor? Cryptids? Horrifically funny violence? This book is so weird and also so, so amazing.
Runaway Girl by Tessa Bailey
A poor little rich girl who really isn’t and a bear of a man dealing with unimaginable loss. Slow burn but awesome tension and chemistry throughout. Plus, the emotional wallop of falling in love. Everything good about romance novels.
Such Sharp Teeth by Rachel Harrison
Original Review
Amazing. A novel about anger, trauma, families, romance, trusting others, and werewolves. It really takes a good, hard look at why and when and how and how often we get angry– and how we treat others and ourselves when we rage. The werewolf metaphor is grrrreat (see what I did there?) for examining what it means to be an angry woman, in/out of control.
We Keep the Dead Close: A Murder at Harvard and a Half Century of Silence by Becky Cooper
Original Review
It took me almost two months to finish this book. But it wasn’t boring or slow. In fact, for such a lengthy book, it’s a real page turner. And it’s a fascinating blend of true crime, non fiction and memoir– how Cooper finds her own voice in the story of Jane Britton’s murder.

Okay alright you know what time it iss. After I have escpaed from prison, it's time for anothe eve's weird question time: would you rather have an animated adaptation of your book or live action? Who would play or voice the protagnist (or all the character if you want to ramble. Please do)
Congrats on escaping hellspace prison!
Okay so, funny story, this current version of Risen actually started out as a video game concept similar to Fire Emblem lmao (I might still have my documents on it somewhere-).
buuut I've actually thought of what it would look like when it's not a book and I think a kind of Arcane type animation would be really cool, think it has the right vibes for my dirty deco world. I can't really see it as being a live-action at all, not with everything that goes on (I'm also not the biggest fan of how cgi is rn lmao).
I have a video somewhere on voice claims that I'm gonna see if I can dig out, but thanks to that One Dragon Age Playthrough I did as Cooper for character building (currently doing one for Casper, you cannot ever escape these two specific ocs), I can't help but think Alix Wilton Regan as her voice claim, mostly for the accent. I don't have a 100% one for Raelyn yet, but I think I originally leant towards Vella Lovell? Val's is more of a jokey one (Lauren Lopez specifically as Linda Monroe in Black Friday) but I don't have a canon one for her yet, but Finn is Matt Mercer.
Funny you asked this whe you did, because I'm currently debating ditching the novel and writing it as a script (since screenwriting is what I'm trying to break into lmao)

What was Bertha de Cornouaille's second marriage like? From what I can tell her first marriage doesn't seem to have been very good (although she outlived him, slay!) but im a bit confused about her second
Lmao yeah, slay indeed, get that Honour of Richmond 💪💯 At the end of the day I have to respect the grind even if it sounds like her time in England was a bit rough :')
As for Bertha's second marriage, that also seems to be quite murky, she was rarely (from what I can tell) acting very independently (the only known charter we have of hers is from her time in England), so it's hard to get a clear picture from the little information we have how she may have felt about Eudon.
On one hand, it could have been a pretty politically advantageous marriage- Porhoët was pretty expansive, which is kind of important if you're concerned about a potential power vacuum destabilizing your family. Unfortunately that call kind of came from inside the house.
I've seen some writers claim that when Eudon and Conan IV fell out, she took Eudon's side and others claim the opposite, so it's hard to get an idea of where she would have been in all of this. I tend to lean more to the latter opinion, given the commentary from Judith Everard and Sara McDougall which suggest that Conan III's decision to make Bertha his heir instead of her brother was a cooperative family effort to increase their family's influence, which to me colors how she may have seen Eudon's grab for power.
On the other hand, Eudon was claiming Brittany in the name of the daughter he had with Bertha (Alix), so I can also understand on there being some messiness for Bertha on a personal level if she felt she had to choose between her daughter and son's livelihood.

Evolution thoughts/Analysis.  Warning, spoilers.
First my overall  reaction
Tumblr media
Hot dang what an episode!
There’s a lot to cover but I will stick to what stuck out most and focus on the rest later..
1.Ladybug trying to figure out how exactly Monarch managed to get all the miraculous, this moment was cut off by Bunnyx but its pretty darn obvious Ladybug made a quick connection and already understood Felix was involved, no doubt this will come back later, so for now we wait.
Tumblr media
2. Monarchs attempts to use all the miraculous proved difficult even for an adult like him, revealing to us that despite the capabilities adult miraculous holders have, they still can’t maintain all the kwamis powers without it severely draining them, a cruel truth Monarch had to realize on his own. Kwamis can take energy from the adults, but with so many kwamis in need of his energy, the kwamis still need to eat to prevent the miraculous from potentially harming Gabriel while still providing their full power. Gabriel having already been experienced in how to control kwamis through the miraculous, was able to take control of them and force them to abide by his command, allowing him to use their power regardless of what they had to say, which further adds to our speculation as to why Chloe did not receive the same effects, her lack of experience with the miraculous and the kwamis unwillingness to cooperate the moment they realized she had no control over them, prevented her from facing similar side effects, I go in depth here
Tumblr media
3.Nathalie finally gave into her frustrations and yelled at Gabriel, calling him crazy and undeserving of her help. Nathalie has every right to feel upset, after all, she has been suffering under the effects of the peacock miraculous for so long and it only keeps getting worse for her, and knowing fully well that Gabriel’s obsession in defeating Ladybug and Cat Noir has now become all consuming, its no surprise that she finally got fed up and called him out for not taking the obvious choice to give past Emilie the information to repair the peacock miraculous which would could have additionally saved her from the side effects. Now, does this mean Nathalie is done with Gabriel? No, not at all, you see Nathalie has always been in a position where she has had to follow his plans because it was not her place to tell him otherwise, she is just his assistant, she helps in any way she can, however, given everything they have been through together and given just how close she has gotten to him, Nathalie had finally developed enough of a connection with Gabriel to feel comfortable enough to yell at him and tell him some cold harsh truths and express how she really feels about a situation, she may still feel devoted to the Agreste Family and she might still have to work with Gabriel since she is now in a position where she needs to help him obtain Ladybug and Cat Noir’s miraculous so his wish can benefit Adrien, Emilie and undue her own suffering.
Tumblr media
4. Ladybug, having now realized she must not let her fears of Cat Blanc prevent her from being willing to trust Cat Noir and allow him to help her carry her burdens as guardian, chose to once again entrust him with the power of the other miraculous to help fight Monarch, seriously, he was neve seen being permitted to fuse another miraculous with his after Ladybug was left as the new guardian.
Tumblr media
the way they look at each other, I can already hear the shippers screaming their little hearts out.
And with her once again opening herself up to Cat Noir, we can hopefully begin to see the process of her choosing to open up to the other miraculous holders and ask them to aid her in an effort to protect the kwamis and their miraculous to better defeat hawkmoth, speaking of which, lets talk about Alix.
5. of all the miraculous, it was the bunny miraculous we never got to see in action in season 4, since then, fans have been wondering for the longest time when Alix would receive the bunny miraculous, well, we finally got to see that chance...but it came at a terrible price.  Having realized she must take a chance and be more willing to allow others to help with the responsibility of protecting the miraculous to better fight Monarch, Ladybug appears to have now begun the much needed process of entrusting the miraculous to permanent holders.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Upon reclaiming the bunny miraculous, Ladybug had made the decision to entrust the miraculous permanently to Alix, a wise decision given Ladybug couldn’t keep temporarily entrusting the miraculous to the others forever, however, knowing fully well that Alix is still at risk of being akumatized by Monarch, Ladybug asked Alix to make the saddening decision to remain trapped in time and not return home until Monarch has been defeated, thankfully Adult Alix will be with her to keep her company and her father fully understood the situation given he always knew Alix was Bunnyx due to the letters she kept sending him about her trips through time! so calm down everyone, she’ll be back home soon enough.
Tumblr media
6. Ladybug and Cat Noir coming face to face with Master Fu in the past explains so much! people always wondered why he was so willing to entrust the Ladybug and cat miraculous to two teenagers he never fully knew, well turn out he always knew them! Master Fu has always been fearful of entrusting the miraculous to other people due to the events which lead to the destruction of the guardians temple, but seeing Ladybug and cat noir in the past made him realize he will eventually entrust two young heroes with the miraculous in a great time of need, of course he didn’t know who they were under the mask due to the quantum masking effects, but just meeting them for a short moment made him realize the kind of people they were, they were selfless, heroic, trustworthy and willing to help others in need when no one else would, but most of all, they talked to him like they were talking to an old friend, not a stranger . He always knew he would encounter them in the future, that little test he did in ”Origins”  was always meant to draw out the ones who would be selfless enough to help a person in need, and those people were always going to be Marinette and Adrien, and sure it could have been any other person, but Fu knew it was always going to be the two he met in the past.

7. the writers have always said to pay attention to the subtleness of the show, knowing this, it kind of feels like the show is hinting that the permanent holder of the dog miraculous is still undecided as Ladybug and Barkk are willing to entrust the dog miraculous to other people more than any other miraculous thus far, meaning that 1.Something is going to happen to Sabrina, and 2.we might see someone else be entrusted with the dog miraculous, but lets just wait and see what the show has to say, although, regardless of what’s to come, I do feel people should remember the one very crucial rule of the temporary miraculous holders, which is that given the situation, Ladybug will give others a chance to help with the power of a miraculous, but this does not mean the miraculous is theirs to keep, they are not entitled to the power and they do not get a say in when they can use it as it does not belong to them, and it will remain this way until Ladybug decides if they can be trusted as permanent holders.

Alix Earle’s empire is growing.
The 22-year-old TikTok influencer's new podcast, “Hot Mess,” comes out Thursday with the Unwell Network, founded by “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper. Earle, a recent University of Miami graduate who lives in the city’s Brickell neighborhood, likes to record episodes from her bed. Ayesha at Last by Uzma Jalaluddin
Ayesha Shamsi has a lot going on. Her dreams of being a poet have been set aside for a teaching job so she can pay off her debts to her wealthy uncle. She lives with her boisterous Muslim family and is always being reminded that her flighty younger cousin, Hafsa, is close to rejecting her one hundredth marriage proposal. Though Ayesha is lonely, she doesn't want an arranged marriage. Then she meets Khalid, who is just as smart and handsome as he is conservative and judgmental. She is irritatingly attracted to someone who looks down on her choices and who dresses like he belongs in the seventh century.
When a surprise engagement is announced between Khalid and Hafsa, Ayesha is torn between how she feels about the straightforward Khalid and the unsettling new gossip she hears about his family. Looking into the rumors, she finds she has to deal with not only what she discovers about Khalid, but also the truth she realizes about herself.
Business Not As Usual by Sharon C. Cooper
I am beautiful. I am confident. I am lovable. I am a lottery winner.
This is the mantra that will get Dreamy Daniels through each day until she makes it big. So what if she lives in a seedy part of Los Angeles in a house that's one earthquake away from crumbling, or works an unfulfilling secretarial job while struggling to finish her bachelor's degree? All Dreamy needs to do is win the lottery, which she's been entering in as a weekly tradition with her grandfather. When she catches the attention of her boss's potential investor, Dreamy has to remind herself to focus on her career goals so she can be her own boss. Who cares if he has the social grace of the Duke of Sussex and the suaveness of Idris Elba? No distractions allowed.
Growing up with a father who is an A-list actor and a socialite mother, venture capitalist Karter Redford lives in the world of the rich and famous. Instead of attending movie premieres, however, he prefers spending his time helping the less fortunate, backing start-up companies and investing in cutting edge ideas. Karter is used to his life revolving around work, but when he decides he wants someone to share it with, he falls for someone his mother would never approve of: hilarious, quirky Dreamy, who has goals of her own...but also isn't a wealthy, upper-crust socialite. Though it's clear they're from different worlds, their relationship might just be his greatest investment yet.
Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid
Alix Chamberlain is a woman who gets what she wants and has made a living, with her confidence-driven brand, showing other women how to do the same. So she is shocked when her babysitter, Emira Tucker, is confronted while watching the Chamberlains' toddler one night, walking the aisles of their local high-end supermarket. The store's security guard, seeing a young black woman out late with a white child, accuses Emira of kidnapping two-year-old Briar. A small crowd gathers, a bystander films everything, and Emira is furious and humiliated. Alix resolves to make things right.
But Emira herself is aimless, broke, and wary of Alix's desire to help. At twenty-five, she is about to lose her health insurance and has no idea what to do with her life. When the video of Emira unearths someone from Alix's past, both women find themselves on a crash course that will upend everything they think they know about themselves, and each other.
Skye Falling by Mia McKenzie
Twenty-six and broke, Skye didn't think twice before selling her eggs and happily pocketing the cash. Now approaching forty, Skye moves through life entirely--and unrepentantly--on her own terms, living out of a suitcase and avoiding all manner of serious relationships. Her personal life might be a mess, and no one would be surprised if she died alone in a hotel room, but at least she's free to do as she pleases. But then a twelve-year-old girl shows up during one of Skye's brief visits to her hometown of Philadelphia, and tells Skye that she's "her egg." Skye's life is thrown into sharp relief and she decides that it might be time to actually try to have a meaningful relationship with another human being. Spoiler alert: It's not easy.
Things gets even more complicated when Skye realizes that the woman she tried and failed to pick up the other day is the girl's aunt and now it's awkward. All the while, her brother is trying to get in touch, her problematic mother is being bewilderingly kind, and the West Philly pool halls and hoagie shops of her youth have been replaced by hipster cafes.
