Baked Treats Are Good for Morale
Ladybug is pretty sure she’d recognize Chat Noir right away, even without the glamour. And she bets on it.
In school, Marinette bumps into a kid with a prosthetic leg much like Chat Noir. What a coincidence! The coincidences continue as they both seem to get an interest in baking around the same time…

This fic is my secret santa gift for @kronehaze!! Happy (belated) Holidays friend! <3

Been a while, hehe, sorry for that. Another hyperfixation took over my brain, and since my main ml project rn is a secret santa thing, haven’t had much energy to do other stuff, but here’s some drawings from a post-apocalypse AU that’s been racking around in my brain since last year.

When your love is insignificant.
A comic about my relationship with love as an aromantic and low-empathy person.
Just for context: I was having an aro anguish moment in the middle of the night, woke up and couldn’t sleep again, wrote out this poem-thingy so it’d leave my head, fell asleep again, then proceeded to work on this comic all day this evening, cuz I wanted to do an aro comic for the longest so might as well turn my night-anguish-induced-poem into one.

If you use felinette to mean Dupain-Cheng x Fathom, just know that that's really embarrassing and you're being made fun of.
Using Marifathom or Marivanily makes you incredibly respectable and cool. People who do this are awesome and attractive.

City of Fools Chapter 21: Fresh Waters
Pollen’s dying for a change of scenery, and back on the Oasis Bite, Marinette and Sabine have a talk that’s been long overdue.
Considering my track record, one month later isn’t all that long for a new update.

I’ve been struggling a lot with settling for a Classic LB & CN design, but I think I finally have something I’m happy with! As well as a general idea of how I’d rework their power sets.
Ladybug has many tools and gadgets at her disposal—all being retrieved from her seemingly bottomless backpack as well as some smaller weapons that come attached to her wrist device.
Tumblr media
But their usage isn’t infinite, as each device will drain from her overall battery charge (faster or slower, and in larger or smaller chunks depending on the device). When the battery reaches Critical Level, all her devices become more erratic and ‘explosive’ due to overuse (can be a hindrance or used for an advantage). And when the battery’s been completely depleted, Mar has minutes before she’s forcefully detransformed.
Being forced into a detransformation isn’t ideal as that leaves both Tikki and Marinette very tired and worn out, and they won’t be able to transform at all for a few days. It’s more advantageous to detransform as soon as they reach critical level to recharge properly, but sometimes, it can’t be helped.
Félix has a similar energy source as Chat Noir that he calls it his mana levels (neeeeerrd!). And while Mar can keep track of her battery with exact precision through her wrist devices, Félix only has his own gut feelings and the glow in his staff to tell how much he drained his mana. That is, until he reaches his own critical level, then it becomes clear he’s nearing his limit.

You know what I just realized about the fae in Double Major in Psyche (and by proxy @arcadeology fashion club au) are actually kind of similar to Tulpa (a concept in mysticism and the paranormal of an entity or object created through spiritual or mental powers) and Egregore (an esoteric concept representing a non-physical entity that arises from the collective thoughts of a distinct group of people). I know it's purely coincidence, but I still like the similarity.
Not sure I’d describe the fae as something that materialized because of people’s collective thoughts, since they always existed whether or not humans knew of thrm, just not in a form people can easily interact with (and I’m not comfortable drawing parallels between spiritual concepts I know nothing of).
The fairies in Double Major (and all of my general Classic work, tbh) are inspired by genies and fairytales as well as some things I absorbed from magical companions in several books, games, and cartoons.
