I need everyone to know that speedsters are allergic to nanobots.
No, seriously. They're allergic to nanobots.
Speedsters have absolutely insane metabolisms, which means that they have an absolutely insane immune system. They don't get sick. Ever. Their immune system works at warp speed and takes out germs the second they enter their body. Call germs 'the Rogues' because they're getting tackled by super speedy blurs before they can even think about causing issues.
Okay, so they have a great immune system and don't get sick ever. What does this have to do with nanobots?
Great question! When nanobots are injected into a speedster's body their immune system sees them as a threat. Only problem? It doesn't matter how fast or efficient their immune system is, their body can't destroy a bunch of tiny metal robots.
Because their bodies can't fight off the nanobots they start to display typical cold/flu symptoms instead. Vomiting, fever, runny nose, coughing, being tired, ect. The nanobots aren't causing this reaction. Their own immune system causes this reaction. The fever is the bodies attempt to kill off the 'germs'. The vomiting, runny nose and coughing is the body's attempt to expel the 'germs'. They feel tired because their body is putting everything into fighting off the 'infection'.
In a normal person the nanobots wouldn't even be an issue because they'd be able to avoid detection. They can't avoid detection in a speedster body because their immune systems are dialled up to 500 out of 10.
As a result you get instances like this:
(Inertia had injected Bart with nanobots and Bart had a reaction)
Just an FYI for people because this is extremely fun and versatile information. Especially because none of the speedsters are really aware of this and it doesn't kick in right away. I could totally see a situation where a mission requires nanobot injections and mid mission the speedster goes down out of nowhere. It's also great if you want to do a stereotypical sick fic or something and want to get around that pesky speedster immunity.
Anyway, it's fun information so I thought I'd share
What if Wally stole one of Reader's shirts, Reader's self control being dulled by sleepiness. Smelling his scent on Wally, instinctually comes up behide Wally to wrap his arms around his waist burying his face into Wally's neck. The Reader making a cute chrip/ cat purring noise.
Wally finds it adorable and loves it because he has feelings for Reader, so keeps sitting up the factors to make it happen. Not really understanding that the Reader's scenting him, because in the Reader's species, Wally's actions mean he wants to be in a relationship with Reader.
So, how would Wally react to someone telling him what he's doing within the lense of the Reader's species?
I think he would be extremely flustered.

Reminds me of my alien!reader fic! Also omgggg ok ok ok so I think-
Wally would just find it cute and comforting at first, the way you'd wrap your arms around him and make those cute little clicking noises. He had no idea that he was "scenting" on you, he didn't even know what scenting was?! And apparently you're doing it to him too?!
He'd just stare with wide eyes, mouth agape as Meghan explained to him what the scenting process was and how you were going to start courting him.
Now don't get him wrong he has always had a crush on you but no one could've prepared him for this. After he finds out he confronts you the next time you cuddle up to him. You confirm that you were scenting him and were confused because you thoughts that's what he wanted since he was attempting to do it to you. His entire face would be beet red as he explained that he was not trying to do that.
You were saddened by this apparently because you'd thought you'd found a mate and now he feels super bad. He says that he does like you but dating is a bit different on Earth than it is on your planet. You say that you can't exactly unscent him so you're willing to try his strange dating rituals. It was a very embarrassing conversation but at least he got a date out of it!
Hello Wally! Would you like to visit the zoo with me? It has a lot of Earth's animals and I'd be happy to teach you all that I know about them! (And it's a lot considering animals are my hyperfixation.)
"Sure! One second..." Wally nervously puts on a hoodie that you bought for him. "okay! lets go!" he grins excitedly
wondering about Frank and insects but specifically about how it looks like the WH insects are highly stylized, so does Frank even know anything about real butteflies/insects?
& if he saw a real one, would he recognize it? are all of the species names he applies to the WH bugs real, or are they all made up like "Vibrant Eyespot" or "Fluttering Heartwing"?
and then there's the question - does the neighborhood have some of the more 'undesirable' bugs like moths, worms, roaches, spiders? does it have bugs outside of the generic groups of beetles and butterflies? like are there mantids? leafbugs? dragonflies? weevils? or are those too specific/complex/not-cute for the Playfellow Workshop to have included?
and then there's the question of what are the bugs? props? puppets? are they alive or do the neighbors just perceive them as such? Do they even exist outside of art, storybooks, and animated segments? I highly doubt they're alive like the neighbors are, since in the gif of Frank's head spinning, the framed butterflies' wings are moving. which is kind of horrifying if you think about it for more than a second.
just... the critters Frank loves so so so much being a complete fabrication... every piece of knowledge he prides himself on / delights in knowing being utterly Untrue... oof
hey just a heads up, but the butcher wally, alien wally, and priest wally creator is proship “neutral” and interacts with a LOT of proship accounts.
LOTS of invader zim nsfw of the kids on their following list as well, but here’s some proship they also follow for proof as well as their carrd stating being “neutral” on their DNI portion, as well as being polyphobic
My pencil slipped and this Doctor Who AU exists now, so sorry. And you're getting subjected to the pile of stuff I've drawn now bc I forgot to post it here SJEU
