“Hot Chocolate” (Nobleflower)
“Cici, I’m starting the movie whether or not you’re ready! I’ve been waiting for ages, I’m graying.” Narcissa calls out, pressing play on the remote. Elf begins to play.
Upon hearing the introductory credit music, Alice speed walks to the living room. How dare she start the movie without her? “I’m coming, I’m coming!” She responds. She hands her girlfriend a snowman mug, holding a reindeer mug in her other hand. “I was making us some hot chocolate.”
“Hmm, I guess you can be forgiven, then.” Narcissa places a kiss on Alice’s cheek before holding up the blanket for her to get under, which the other woman obviously does. She snuggles up close.
“Are you gonna hog the covers again, Cissa?” Alice teases, a grin on her face as she leans into her girlfriend even more if that’s possible. Narcissa nudges her.
“I don’t know, are you gonna fall asleep within the first thirty minutes again, Cici?” Narcissa teases back, smirking. Alice only rolls her eyes in response and sips on her hot chocolate.
Every single time the two women watch a movie together, Narcissa hogs the blankets and Alice falls asleep before the movie even begins to get good. They both deny these actions, although it’s obvious that it happens.
True to that, they only get about thirty two minutes into the movie and Alice is already asleep with her head in Narcissa’s lap. Narcissa gently runs her fingers through her girlfriend’s hair and smiles. “Happy Christmas, my love.”

"Wake up! Wake up!" A voice rung out, the rapping on my Guest Room in Oletus Manor woke me up from my peaceful slumber. I slammed a pillow on my face, closed my eyes gently and prayed that Mike would leave me alone. I had no idea what time it was, but whatever time it was... It didn't matter, let me sleep damnit!
"[Name]! It's Christmas!" My door swung open with the smell of gasses filling the room. Had he used his bombs on my door knob?! I sat up with my eyes glaring into his bright ones. His freckled smile holding an incomparable shine that rivaled any star.
"There better be a new lock in one of my presents." I frowned, crawling my way from under my sheets. Mike let out a playful laugh before closing my busted door, allowing me the privacy to get presentable for the day.
As I styled my hair the way I liked it, I couldn't help but throw in a Christmas accessory, just to make things for festive. With a smile, I got into my outfit of the day.
As I shoved my (now broken) door open, I noticed the change in the Manor's hallways. Tinsel lined the trimming of the walls intertwined with beautiful Christmas lights that twinkled with a small golden glow. I have a light gasp. Had the manor magically done this overnight? Or did someone really manage to decorate such a large mansion in one night?
"You know." Mike's voice pulled my attention from the lights onto him. He must've waited for me outside. He was leaning on a wall, with a reindeer antler headband that was somehow mixed into his curly hair and a festive Christmas attire to match. "They say Saint Nicholas goes around the world in one night. Do ya think whoever did this.. Wonderful Christmas decorations did this in one night too?" He winked playfully.
I rolled my eyes at his cheek and followed the manor hallway down, as I entered near the main courtroom.. There was so much going on..!
Emma, Tracy and Lily were all seen dangling off poor Leo who was struggling to raise the three playful girls off him. He was dressed as Santa, so of course they were more than happy to ask Leo what kind of presents he bought.
But the smile on Emma's face.
It lit up the whole room.
Naib and Ganji were about to St.- Start fighting? They had their hands up and all... Norton was currently holding bets with his hand up.
"We've got two on Subedar." I noticed William and Aesop perk up slightly. Naib shot a look towards Eli who gave a sheepish smile, gambling against his friend. How funny.
Melly, Alice, Orpheus and unsurprisingly Helena were all feverishly discussing some type of book that I noticed. They all spoke much quieter than the guys, so it was more difficult to pick up on the conversation but the cover read "The Little Match Girl."
Mike besides me ran towards a fellow group of blondes. Anne seemed hard at work along side an identically hard working Victor, they were feverishly wrapping presents for other survivors and a few for the hunters. A few toys made by Anne, telling from the beautiful paintwork on the wood and Victor would obviously deliver them... And Edgar who was doing a sketch besides them. All three of them kneeling on the ground to which Mike practically knocked those bowling pins go the ground.
I could always go find some other survivors.. Or find the Hunters instead.

no one probably remembers when i posted about this idea i had but its a story called fawning about a dating app of the same name thats for deer! the bottom image is like the main two, Hinda and Hartley, two twin red deers, where Hinda creates the app and shows to her brother to get him into it
the top images are some misc characters that also use the app
Carrie and Holly are two caribou/reindeer sisters
Mirc is a water deer who if they were human would be named Arson
Miss Alice is an albino deer who lives a sheltered life
Eli is a nerdy moose
and Sienna is a peppy sika deer!

“(Y/N)! (Y/N)!” Aemond hissed as he hurried along the road. He saw you hurry round a corner and lost sight of you as your cloak swishes out of sight after you. He grumbled to himself, hurrying through the street while trying his best not to draw attention.
When he turned the corner he saw you for a second before you were swallowed by a crowd gathering around something. By the time he caught up with you, you’d pushed your way to the front of the crowd.
“Look at that!” You said as you caught a glimpse of what was causing the commotion. Aemond saw it through the crowd too and huffed.
“It is just a reindeer. They are from the colder parts. Nothing special.” Aemond grumbled.
“But they look like funny deer!” You said quietly. Before Aemond could criticise you or point out that Reindeer were deer just the same as the stags in the wood you spotted someone handing out treats for them. “Oh! We should feed one!”
“Feed it what?” Aemond said as he glanced around. Your exuberant delight had caught the attention of several people around you who had begun to stare at the two of you and mutter among themselves.
“Well… don't you have something in your pocket I could feed it?” You asked hopefully. If he didn’t have some kind of snack for his horse he might have enough coin to buy from the man still handing out treats.
"Do I look like I would be walking around with a carrot in my pocket on the off chance that you’d come across a hungry reindeer?" Aemond said and grabbed at your arm. You objected to being pulled away from the crowd which only drew more attention.
“I wanted to go back!” You complained to no end as Aemond tried to wrangle you back towards the keep. Aemond could now see at least three people following after the two of you and hurried round a corner, hoping to cut through an alley to lose them.
“There you are! Do you know the commotion that had been caused? No one could find you in the keep. The queen is furious.” Sir Cole hurried up the side road towards the two of you and Aemond let you go. He felt relaxed now that there were two swords to defend rather than just his.
“(Y/N) wandered off.” Aemond said as he looked down to his left side. Turning to look behind him he groaned. “Seven hells!” He muttered and went back the way he’d come. Cole shook his head and hurried after Aemond who was ever letting you take advantage of his blind side and slip away. He’d suggested that a proper guard be assigned to you but the reply was always ‘Aemond is perfectly good at keeping an eye on (Y/N).’ Cole was quite vocal on the fact that you were quick as a whip and Aemond was down an eye so on the grand scale of things, it wasn’t exactly fair. He’d been told not to speak of it again.
There was a squeal and then shouting which caused Cole to hurry back towards the flea bottom winter market. You’d been sneaking off there all week. Reaching for his sword he stopped and chuckled. Aemond had, clearly growing tired of you sneaking off and escaping, tossed you over his shoulder, his hood fallen back with your flailing and objecting. No matter how you squirmed you couldn’t get away.
“I will feed you to Vhagar if you do not cease!” Aemond now sounded tired and looked quite apathetic to the whole ordeal. Cole hurried to march along beside Aemond who was moving as quickly as he could so that he wouldn’t risk losing his grip on you and having to turn back again. It was the afternoon when he marched into the keep.
“Aemond!” Alicent said sharply as someone hurried off to fetch her. He ignored her and continued his way through the corridors. Alicent, surprised, turned to Cole who shrugged. They both followed him as he made his way towards your rooms. He barged in, startling your handmaiden who was fixing a snag in your winter cloak. He dumped you on your bed and hurried out of the room, pulling on his mother’s arm as he slammed the doors.
“Let me out! I won't stand for this. Let me out!” Your almost childish shrieks could be heard through the door as you rattled them. Alicent raised her eyebrows as your language turned foul upon hearing Aemond locking you in.
“Is that really necessary?” She asked.
“Until you find someone else to keep (Y/N) inside yes it is.” He said as he sat on the floor and sighed. He was rather hungry and tired from running after you all morning. He had a painful spot on his back where you’d smacked at him and he carried you that would no doubt bruise.
“The last three quit and (Y/N) is rather fond of you, Aemond. Is there not anything that could be done?” Alicent asked. Aemond got to his feet when you began to rattle the door again.
“Fetch me a reindeer.” He said as he stretched.
“A… what?” Alicent asked in surprise.
“A reindeer, mother.” Aemond said as he walked off towards his own rooms in hopes of some peace.
A reindeer was found and presented to you a few days later. It had a golden blanket and a silver leading rope covered in tiny bells that alerted anyone to you and the reindeer coming. To everyone's delight, Aemond’s idea worked and kept you at the keep for two weeks. During the second week, however, the reindeer was spooked and fled the keep coming across Aegon and Sunfyre, who had been out for a ride. Sunfyre, hungry and irritable from the cold as a snow flurry had caught them out during their flight, could not be stopped from devouring the creature in front of you both. Some of the people living in the keep claimed that every time you had a bout of sadness for your lost pet another snowstorm would set in and cause the snow to grow deeper as winter set its claws into Westeros. This rumour was only deepened when, under Helena’s advice, a small lean puppy with a tail like a whip, born late into winter, was given to you the day the snow finally stopped. Aemond’s request to finally have guards sent to look after you was met and Alicent even had someone hired specifically to keep the puppy safe.

I haven’t even started and I’m about to break the only rule 😂 because I still only have fics posted from holiday challenges, which I am not blown away by. I thoight I'd have other fics posted by now but it’s been a year so far, to say the least. So, I’m also going to share from Outlaw Alex because he’s coming very soon and I’m honestly the most proud of the way the words are fitting together for that one!

From "Take This House and Make it a Home"
They admire their choice together from the couch later on that evening with David curled up underneath the blanket. Alex rests his head on Henry’s shoulder and thinks about how he can’t wait to decorate the tree the next day and debate if the tree will have colored lights or white lights – he’s guessing the white ones won’t be a choice once there are children also making the decisions. He can’t wait for the time where both he and Henry each have a child on their shoulders wanting to put ornaments on the tree higher than the other while having Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer on the television in the background. Then, once the children are put to bed for the night, it’ll be the two of them again having their private moment admiring everything they’ve created together, just like this with David snoring and the fireplace crackling, with Henry’s legs tangled with his as the peace settles over them; that the house they’ve settled down in is finally a home.
Whether it’s tonight, two or three Christmases from now, or when they’re in their eighties, Alex will always look over at Henry and know the magic that they have together is forever.
From "Here We Stand Worlds Apart" (ongoing)
The side of his hand skims the material of the bodysuit as he searches for the chin strap, popping off the buckle. Then he takes both of his hands and carefully begins the removal of the helmet. As more of the face starts to be revealed, a strong chin and jawline, perfectly chiseled cheekbones, dark and soft curls styled with a short cut, Henry finds out it’s a man who’s crashed into the woods.
He can’t help but stare at the face of the attractive man. Attractive isn’t even the correct word in his vocabulary to describe him. His eyes are closed, which makes Henry wonder what color they are. He hopes they aren’t green like Ralph’s because he doesn’t want to be reminded of a pair of eyes that will never look at him in the adoringly hungry way they do when he looks at Alice Rodgers. Long dark lashes fan out and almost look as if they’re touching the top curve of his cheekbones. He looks angelic even in a setting that looks like he’s met his death.
His appreciative gaze travels to his hair next. Curls draping over one another in an unlikely symphony of wildness and precise placing, even after being smashed flat against his head from wearing the helmet. Henry can’t help but want to feel what the curls would feel like moving through the spaces between his fingers, even though it’s a bizarre thing to do to someone who’s just been in a crash, someone who’s a stranger to him.

Months after his father’s funeral, his mother had told him the opposite. It had actually been Henry who’d given his father the enlightenment to embrace all new discoveries and to always keep chasing them because they’re remarkably never-ending. Always live as though the world keeps creating things to stumble upon on purpose. Accidents may happen along the way, but those are also little surprises that will lead to something far grander.
As a child Henry had been more animated and curious than his two siblings, but he’d also been overly cautious and kept to himself when necessary. It had been his father who would tell Henry that he shouldn’t be afraid of unknown things, so why would his mother tell him otherwise? What would Henry have given someone with more life experiences than he had?
Their relationship had always been different than his ones with Phillip and Beatrice. Though Arthur always made sure to give each of his children their own moments just between the two of them, Catherine had let the secret out to Henry that his favorite discovery had been witnessing Henry experience the world around him.
After the confession, Henry made the promise to his father after his passing that he’d take his father on every new adventure with him to make sure he’d never miss out, and in those adventures, he’d find out who he truly is and embrace himself as the wonderment his father believes he is.
He places the last and only photograph he has of him and his father, back down on his desk, his pointer finger skimming his greyed blurry face that doesn’t resemble the fact his father’s memory will never become dull or unclear.
