Happy #MermaidMonday 🧜 Any plans for the week ahead, or just trying to stay afloat? . . My weekend was wildly UNproductive, so I'm hoping I can actually finish making those baby blankets I didn't work on the last two days. 🙃 We actually have plenty of blankets for our twins, so this isn't a "need to get done" project, but I have just always *wanted* to make a blanket for each of our babies. Baby girl's is done, and I did manage to cut out the fabric for baby boy's -- so I just need to stitch it up and quilt it. But I also have pieces salvaged from my husband's very worn baby blanket that I'm hoping to piece together with new fabric into a new blanket, as well. . . We had an amazing vacation in Panama City, Florida! We spent a lot of time snorkeling at St. Andrew’s State Park. We saw a lot of amazing marine life: damsel fish, tangs, butterfly fish, a spiny lobster, a blue angelfish and more! On our drive home, we stopped by a nearby beach town, Rosemary Beach, to explore. We came across this cute little bookstore where I picked up a copy of Chloe Gong’s These Violent Delights. Doesn't it feel satisfying when you finally read some books that have been on your TBR forever? 😂 I still have so many books on my TBR that I want to read but these are some that I finally got to after having them on my TBR for a long time. All of these books were just amazing! To Kill a Kingdom lived up to the height and I'm so happy I finally got to read it when my library got a copy after me having a hold on it for six months. 🙄 The Last Namsara was super interesting and I can't wait to see how the rest of the series plays out. Muse of Nightmares was just freaking amazing! Laini Taylor does such an amazing job at creating beautiful universes and complex characters and I just love reading her books!
