“I love it when you call me, señorita. I wish I could pretend I didn’t need you. But every touch is oh la la la. It’s true la la la. Oh, I should be running. Oh, you keep me coming for you.” You were singing the lyrics to the song as Shawn and Camila danced around the small dance studio. Something was wrong with the speakers so you decided to provide the background music as Jon fiddled with the bluetooth beats pill.

Alexa, the choreographer, came to sit on your right side. “Alright, let’s take five.” She told Shawn and Camila.

“Thank Jesus fucking Christ!” Shawn yelled out. You and Camila snickered as he slumped down against a wall.

“Alexa, intruder alert.” You whispered under your breath as Alexa leaned against you.

“y/n, if you say that one more time, I’m going to make Shawn and Mila make out for the dance.” Alexa grumbled into your shoulder.

“You and I both know Shawn would hate that a million times more than I would.” You pointed out, eyeing Shawn on the opposite wall.

“Are you calling me a bad kisser?” Camila asked as she came to sit down on your left side. She put her head in your lap and pulled your hand to her head, a silent plea to play with her hair.

You hummed, untangling Camila’s hair with your fingers as you spoke. “I know you’re a good kisser, Mila. I’m just saying, the boy loves me too much. He won’t like it.”

“You sound so sure.” Alexa chuckled.

“Because I am.”

Camila suddenly sat up from your lap and turned to face Shawn. “Shawn, how much do you love y/n?”

“Oh my god, as much as there are stars in the sky.” Shawn huffed, still out of breath. He was fully lying on the floor at this point with his arm across his eyes.

“See?” Camila said to Alexa, returning to her previous position.

“So he’s in love love. That’s cute.”

“What? You jealous? That’s so sad. Alexa, play despacito.” Camila joked, hiding her face in your side as she laughed.

“We’re ending our break because you said that.” Alexa grumbled, taking a swig of her water bottle.

You helped Camila off of you.“Go shake that ass, señorita.” She walked away, exaggerating her hip sways as she went.

“Come on, Shawnie boy. It’s not that bad. We’re almost done for the night.” Camila encouraged Shawn as she tried to pull his giant body off the floor.

“Camila, you don’t understand. I hate dancing with my entire being.” She looked at you and rolled her eyes.

“Oh no, he’s being serious. Was whining about it all night yesterday.” You confirmed.

“Just get up already!” Camila whined, still struggling to lift Shawn from his position on the floor.

You got up from your place and walked over to where Camila and Shawn were. You leaned down and pulled Shawn’s arm away from his face. “Come one, my love. The sooner we finish up, the sooner we can go home.” You brushed the curls on his forehead away and traced down his nose. He opened his eyes and looked at you. “Come on. Just a little more.”

Shawn groaned and let you pull him up. Camila scoffed at the sight. “We need y/n everywhere with us. He never does that with me.”

“Because he’s not in love with you. Come on, lover boy. This last part, then we’re done.” Alexa teased, pushing you away and positioning Shawn and Camila.

Alexa was explaining something, but you were watching Shawn’s glassy eyes. He wasn’t listening to a word she was saying.

“Alright, let’s do it.” Alexa clapped and moved backwards.

“What are we doing?” Shawn whispered to Camila.

“The twirling part. Easy peasy, not much to it.” She explained, pulling him to the middle of the room.

“Do I need to provide the music again?” You asked Jon, who told you that you didn’t need to anymore and that the speakers were dealt with.

“Five, six, seven, eight.” Alexa began with the music. “And stop, good job. Step, right left. One more time. Alright, and twirl!”

Camila began to twirl outwards while holding loosely onto Shawn’s hand. She should have known better, to be honest. Never put your life into the hands of the clumsy ass Shawn Mendes. Especially when he’s tired.

Shawn let go of her hand without a second thought. And Camila came tumbling down.

You burst out laughing as you ran to help your fallen friend. “Oh my god, are you ok, love?” You asked as you helped her up.

“Shawn, what the hell?” Camila said through her peals of laughter.

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry. Oh my god, I didn’t mean to, I swear.” Shawn exclaimed, hand on Camila’s back to stabilize her swaying from the fall.

“I think it’s time to call it a night.” Alexa chuckled, picking up her things she left in the corner of the room. “We’ll meet again tomorrow to get this done.”

“Alright, bye Alexa.” You called out after her, still holding Camila up. “You want a ride to your hotel? I’m driving.”

“What? No, I’m driving.” Shawn exclaimed at your comment.

“Shawn, you just dropped the girl. You think I’m letting you drive us home?”

“I’m with her on this one, sorry buddy.” Camila said as she walked around and gathered her scattered belongings. She waved off everyone else who was leaving while you and Shawn argued about who was driving his precious Jeep.

“I’m driving and that’s that.” You said, key in hand.

“Ugh, fine. I’m sleeping in the back.” Shawn finally accepted it and followed you.

You buckled yourself in and waited as everyone got in the car. Camila was sitting in the passenger seat while Shawn stretched out in the back. You turned the radio on at a low volume as to not bother Shawn.

You and Camila conversed in hushed whispers and giggles. There was a lull in the conversation and Camila turned her whole body to face you.

“y/n?”

“Yeah?”

“How much do you love him?” She asked, no evidence of teasing in her voice.

“What?” You stammered out a response, not expecting her to ask you anything that serious. At least it felt serious. Maybe conversations in cars at night always felt like this.

“How much do you love Shawn? I asked him but I never asked you.”

“I don’t- I don’t know. I can’t put it into words like he can. But I know it’s a lot. My heart feels like it’s going to explode every time I see him smile at me.” You said, looking at the man of your dreams in the rear view mirror. “I never knew what love meant until he showed me.”

Hi lovely! Of course this is ok! <3 OOOOF big yes to your taste in music!!! It’s so hard for me to pick a favorite bts song but black swan is wayyyyy up there toward the top for sure. And omg gold rush is just such a bop but it devastates me lol. But definitely still one of my favs on evermore. Ribs just captures that specific nostalgic mood so well, it’s so good. And golden was always one of my top songs on fine line, I love it so much! Music really does make everything better, honestly what would we do without it. I love talking to you too by the way!! <3

I’m ok! I’m a little stressed and anxious but I’ll definitely get everything sorted. I’m having to schedule all of these different medical appointments before I lose insurance because whatever insurance I end up with it will surely not get me as much coverage as my mom’s. I’m also wanting to find a new job and move out of my hometown so my dad and I ran some numbers last night for possible costs of living plus insurance and just all of that and... yikes lol. But it’ll all be ok! That was way too much information but I just kind of needed to rant so thank you for providing me that opportunity lol. You’re the sweetest and I adore you. AHA streaming mvs is so convenient for a multi. the filler vids i could use in between could be mvs from the other groups that i stan. also you know what, i still haven't watched a single final performance bc im waiting for a friend to watch with me :D

i have a chinese movie recommendation in case you want something to cry over. i still love its ost and it's been months since i watched it. i'm not sure if you watched it already but more than blue. i've never cried over a movie as much as i cried for that one. the angst *chef's kiss*. i'd do anything to wipe my memory of it and watch it again for the first time.

also sungchan is mc-ing in inkigayo every sunday! and honestly, what the hell is nct hollywood :D but a part of me thinks it's just going to be a bunch of asians living in america like johnny that'll be a part of it. just a hunch tho. imagine having all 4 units coming back in a year with like 1 unit per quarter of the year. i'm not sure if sm even has the money to do this, especially when they filed bankruptcy recently.

and i've seen a lot of twitter memes saying taro's ghosted stans T_T alexa play ghosting by txt T_T sm come on give him smth to do, you're wasting talent.

the mall didn't burn down entirely (like from the outside it looked fine). the ventilation system caught fire so it was more internal—ceilings and all that. covered things with soot(?) and ashes so the entire mall was closed for nearly 2 years. and hey, i've experienced a school fire too back when i was younger. i, too, thought it was nothing but a fire drill until i saw the charred remains of the buildings behind our school : D thankfully, no one died.

the new nct track is for a samsung commercial AHAHA it's funny because nearly everyone uses apple TT_TT and the mv screams neo culture tech tho (well as it should lmao). yes, i was talking about that part in hot sauce but yes, it grew on me too.

ateez really know how to do a performance. they put the standard so high for me when it came to performing. their facial expressions and overall stage presence just impresses me. it's been a while since i've seen idols draw me to them by those standards.

YES, A PATTERN IN THE BIASES (if you count an analysis of two ppl as a pattern, that is.) because it's the same pattern i have for my biaswreckers :D jake & seungmin, not only do they have the same animal to represent them, they have the same 'golden retriever' type of personality that just makes you go all soft. ygwim ;n; i wish i could elaborate but both boys just devastate me in the same level and my friends pointed out that they were quite similar in some aspects.

yes yes i have just realized that sungchan is yujin's co-mc! i watched their special stage (which is literally adorable) and was today years old when i realized that the dude is sungchan pls. nct hollywood was so unexpected and i still have mixed feelings about it now. ugh omg yeah shotaros talent is seriously being wasted in the basement right now. as for fires, scary T-T i wasnt that fazed by them until the australia wildfires happened, and i learned about the consequences of fire and got really scared. its good that the entire mall didnt burn down though! although its weird that no one is opening it :( schools really need to tell us the difference between drills though, it might be dangerous for those rebellious kids.

yeah i just realized that the nct track is an endorsement which partly explains why i cant listen to it. the mv's visuals are stunning!! the set and people are so gorgeous aa i cant

oh yeah im not an atiny but i have acknowledged since 2020 that they have one of the best, if not the best stage presence and expressions on stage for 4th gen. i think their only worthy competitor would be stray kids actually. theyre truly one of a kind and all of them are cute especially that yeosang guy. i will definitely check out your song recommendations though!

oof the pd48 scandal is extremely complicated. to condense it in a few statements: all of the girls' rankings have been rigged since the very beginning and it was rumored that they already had their end group before the show even started. it was like this for pf48 and pdx101 (group x1) which was why x1 disbanded within a month of debuting, and izone were on hiatus for like 4 months. im not the best at explaining stuff like this haha, but i think you get it. you can check out yt or search up 'pd48 scandal', a ton of articles and videos. as for new groups, nothing has been made clear yet. theyve only made instagram handles for now and appeared on variety shows haha. as for acting career, hyewon was supposed to do acting but was forced to join pd48 so maybe she'll continue acting afterwards? nothing is confirmed yet!
