hello, can i ask what exactly happens to OMRU and their wives in ishqbaaz? why are they not in the leap? also, how do shivika exactly die?
They're said to have gone abroad, I believe. And Shivaay was killed off by Sahil (of all ppl) and I think Anika also dies on the same day in an accident, trying to get to him or something like that.

Lmao, quit around Ep 4, when it became clear that the bromance wasn't gonna develop the way I wanted. Upar se that FL is soooooo thakeli and annoyingly acted. I wouldn't recommend. Go rewatch one of your other fav shows of your man and save your time and energy.

Hi TT, I have recently started watching IB and DBO and thus came across your blog. Your lbs are hilarious and made me enjoy the shows even more :) I have a question on the real/fake Svetlana plot in DBO. Is it implied that the Svetlana we see from the beginning in IB is the one with mask (or surgery?!) Not getting my head around this one. Thanks.
Lmao, we neverrrrr really figured it out. I don't think at any point it's really given an exact time/year as to when the real!Svetlana was replaced by mask!Svetlana. I thiiiiiiiink it's when she's fairly younger though, and before she came into Tej's life as his secretary/mistress. So I've always assumed that yeah, we've been seeing mask!Svetlana all along. But lol whoooooo really knows. All of this shit is bonkers and makes absolutely no logical sense, just like how she and Sumo were retrofitted to be Kapoor sisters.

Saaaaaame!!!! I thought the colours were v pretty and an inspired take on the usual pastels, but those giant ugly pearls on the underboob, ugh why?!?!!?! But overall, achcha look tha!

marry my husband just ended, and after seeing the last episode (and the entire show, really), I feel this needs to be said: hero/heroine ke role mein to har aida-gaida actor excel kar leta hai, lekin jo actors villain ke role main excel karte woh hi most of the time excellent actors kehla sakte hain.
Exactly!!! I always find that the villains steal the show in the shows I enjoy the most, coz 1. It's always a more complex performance to play unhinged and unconcerned with commonly established morality, and 2. they seem to have so much more fun!!!!!

Hiiii!! I'm a new follower(mainly coz tv serials are kind of a guilty pleasure for me and I'm sooo thankful that hotstar has a profile feature).
So, I'd started watching ishqbaaz many years back but i stopped for some reason and now I'm finding out that there's a redux thing and also another thing where ShivIka's son has his own thing? So like i just wanted to know, would you recommend watching redux? I rly don't wanna watch the son's love story, but I'm hearing that Rikara has another level of wholesomeness in redux.

So, the redux is an alternate universe in which all our regular characters are there, with some changed circumstances. That starts at Season 13 Ep 96 (acc to the Hotstar labelling system.) It goes on with Shivika/Rikara/Ruvya till S13 E225, after which the show takes a leap (yes, within the AU redux whatever thingy itself) and moves on to the story of Shivika's son. Basically, I stopped watching the show somewhere around S13 E 213, but the show went steeply downhill from the point Zain Imam enters the show as Shivaay's friend, so yeah.... Make of that what you will.

Have you seen any of the promos for this new ITV show that's coming out called "Mehendi Wala Ghar?" The promos actually look kind of interesting and good, and even though the concept itself doesn't feel like anything extraordinary, it did give me vague Sasural Genda Phool vibes. The drama seems like it's going to be about a family that is estranged from each other but will come back together with help from a girl in their family named Mehendi (idk why this name but whatever lol).
Saw the promos and yeah, it does have those old school vibes and also a stacked cast! And it's on Sony, so we can trust it to deliver on the vibes, but who knows how long it'll last.

Are there any ITV shows you've watched where you wished the concepts in them had been executed better than they actually were? Ishqbaaaz is one of them for me, even though I still like it for what it was as a whole show (minus the redux and the leap after it). I'm just asking out of curiosity, because I wish that there were more good ITV shows. Most of the recent ones have felt way too samey to me though.
I think it's the case for EVERY SINGLE ONE i've watched like non-ironically (shit like Naagin and IMMJ2 and all, I know what I'm getting into and I'm watching it for shits and giggles.) Almost every ITV show I have invested time in after Ishqbaaaz started out with a good concept, and then fell victim to TRP nonsense. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

sorry for spamming your feed with so many asks lately TT 🥺 but i just HAD to share this...so I have been having a seriously bad week.. today is the first time in the last 7/8 days that I legit laughed my ass off watching something here n ofc it's a Thai bl series..it's so refreshing n funny af..the main leads r ADORABLE n the 'bad boy' one is SUCH A GOOD ACTOR I hope he gets better n better 😩🤌✨ the Cute one is just..CUUUUTE (makes us feel that we MUST PROTECT HIM) 💖💖💖 the name of the Drama is 'I will knock you'. I just finished 5 whole episodes n if you want great chemistry n easy breezy romance n funny n silly af characters n situations than please do check it out 😍😍

lol no everyone but the main couple has chemistry in marry my husband. I have never seen a blander couple. The fl and the ml's pet cat have more chemistry than the fl and ml. The villains have better chemistry with each other. All of the side couples have better chemistry than the main two you are better off reading the webtoon.
I honestly find this to be the case in all of Park Min Young's shows. Like, I don't know what it is, she just doesn't work for me as an actress. Whenever I think of her, I just think of this same soulless smile she gives in everything.
