So I'm not great at sentimental words. But I'm gonna do my best here. First of all, to each and every one of my followers, I love you. You're all wonderful and I want to try harder to interact with you in this coming year.
But here is for those people I've come to know very well this past year and I am so thankful for.

those videos always come off as condescending... like a producer or vocal coach will listen to akpop song and say "omG that's ACTUALLY good I didn't expect it to be so good/them to sing like that" and it's like,,,, you know kpop songs are produced by professionals too right,,, you know kpop idols train with professional vocal coaches for years before and after debut right.,,,RIGHT?
lmao there’s a lot of coded racism and xenophobia when people talk about kpop (even from kpop fans themselves) and in general I think when something has a large young/female fanbase, it’s automatically seen as superficial/having no value. so when u add the fact that it’s done by asians, it’s not taken seriously and for some reason it needs a western perspective to validate it. Which makes me think that may be why react videos are so popular on youtube
