I can't help but giggle at the idea that DreamWorks made two aesexual characters the main focus of the sequel series just to get away from the shipping drama, especially after the Kenji x Brooklyn backlash.
Unfortunately for them, there's no escaping it.

As per special request by @mk-writes-stuff because I love these guys ever so much, here's a crash course on...
Illari Changelings!
Changelings in my setting are something like big amoebas. They're person-sized unicellular organisms and use a complex set of neuron-like organelles to act as a nervous system. To change their shape and hue, they have many chromatophore plastids along their membrane and a network of specialized cilia on the back of their headfins and armfins that change form to make the structure of any face they take. They are eukaryotic and can reproduce either aesexually through mitosis or sexually by way of specialized plasmids, should they take on a shape with sexual characteristics, which their true form lacks. Without a mouth or digestive tract, they eat by way of phagocytosis and dispose of what little waste they produce in the form of a slick mucus that coats their membrane.
The origin of the species is shrouded in mystery. However, it is doubtlessly connected to the Fair Folk and their Next-Door Land. The Fair Folk are notorious for experimenting with the line between magic and life, and it has been shown that there is some magical element involved in a changeling's transformation abilities.
A changeling has the ability to take the form of any humanoid being, real or imagined, though some are more skilled at making up faces than others. Here's a sketch showing how that transformation happens.
The facial elements form first on the back of the headfins, which then wrap around to the front. In a shifted form, a changeling is as rigid as any human. However, they don't have bones and are basically just a big sac of cytoplasm, so when in their true form, they often revert to a more liquid state, usually when they're relaxed or sleeping. This ability to turn liquid actually makes them rather difficult to injure with blunt weapons, if you can even hit the slippery creature in the first place.
Unfortunately for them, a changeling often ends up exploited for their abilities, either as a prostitute or a spy. In the elven lands of Skysheer and Nabafyr, they have a tradition of keeping changelings as court freaks. I won't get into the gory details, but their treatment would be very similar to the historical treatment of court dwarfs. The prejudice against changelings is very strong in those elven lands due to frequent Fair Folk meddling. Though most changelings have never so much as seen one of the Fair Folk, elves lump changelings in with the terrifying entities that appear on pale nights to steal away children and poison crops. Many changelings hide their nature due to this. If they're lucky, they can find a community of other changelings to rely on. Most aren't this lucky, though, and never meet another person like themselves. It's no surprise that most changelings are reluctant to disclose their identities even to close companions.
On that depressing note, here's some changeling art! The one with more jagged headfins is my dnd character, Gris, who is a bit older, hence the rougher appearance. Elsind is the one with the smoother headfins, and you can't see it because colors scare me, but they have a more purple hue compared to Gris. Generally, changelings are purple, pink, or red, with a slimy texture to their membrane.
They also, of course, do the owl thing with their headfins, where they puff up to look all big when they're nervous.

Loki
My favorite thing about them: Mentally ill prince with family issues and muderous tendancies, my favourite things.
My least favorite thing about them: how terribly inconsistent their writing is. Each writer has tackled Loki in a wholly new way, and the end result is a jarring mess where what Marvel says the audience should think of Loki and the ways they actually write Loki are completely incongurrant. I fully believe that the reason why AoA works so well is because it had just one writer who really fleshed out Loki's past, present, and possible future characterisations and wrote the series with that in mind at all times.
My favorite canon relationship: I want to say Thor and Loki but part of Thor and Loki being the most inconsistently written characters is that their relationship is completely over the place and it means I can only care some of the time (which I hate for the record. You gave me extremely messed up royal siblings with bonus hero and villain angst, how did you mess that up)
Anyway, have you heard the good news of Loki and Verity? Genderfluid pansexual god of lies meets local ace nerd who has lie detecting powers. Become instant best friends. He rescues her by turning into a unicorn so she can ride him to get away from the police. She jumps on Thor's back in spite of being a very tiny skin and bones human so he'll stop attacking Loki. When the world ends, Loki puts her soul in a bracelet so she won't die. Icon behaviour on both of their counts.
My favorite non-canon relationship: FrostIron. What other ship sustains itself to that degree after only one canon interaction 12 years ago.
(I'm also partial to Loki/Fandral, but that's canon in the comics so doesn't count :p)
The sexuality I headcanon for them: genderfluid pansexual (again, canon in AoA. Disney you will pay for your crimes)
What I’d do if I could spend the day with them: Make them use their powers to act out the Loki season one I have in my head. Then get ice cream.

Speculating on fictional characters' sexuality
I came upon an old post about the possibility of Peeta being bi and that gave me several thoughts.
I really like the way Josh presents. He's only publically dated women so it made total sense for him to say he's mostly straight but wouldn't rule out dating guys.
I've seen people describe him as "being on the spectrum (of dating out of straight relationships)". That's an amazing idea!
I'm not comfortable calling him bi because 1. He never labeled himself that way; 2. He's never dated guys. That's just a fact.
I know it's none of my business, but I do sideeye people who come out as bi/pan but dates a lot of different people and still dates the opposite sex exclusively. That just leaves a bad taste like they were trying to be trendy or trying to get out of controversies when they came out. (If you know who I meant, you'll get it. I'm not outright accusing everyone who's done this, but they're not my favorites and I'm annoyed when their fans refuse to acknowledge this fact when people call them out for it.)
And that's the way I feel about Peeta, a character who's only dated one person canonically (if you can even call it that.) He might be bi, I have no idea. But there's virtually no chance of finding out, ever. Because he found his life partner when he was 16. He's not going to date other people. Even if he has sort-of crushes on guys, how can he even find out if the feelings are truly romantic?
I don't assume someone's straight just because they've only dated the opposite sex publically. But I don't like the idea of insisting some character's sexuality is DEFINITELY not how they present in canon. That's just absurd. Same with the people insisting Katniss is aesexual. Write your own aesexual characters and leave our Katniss Gets-fixated-on-Peeta's-lashes Everdeen alone!

Interview with the vampire episode 3 review)
I just watched episode 3 of Interview with the vampire the TV series.
Ugh... I hate hate-watching. I keep trying to convince myself it’s not so bad. Having Louis talk Lestat into feeding on evil doers felt wrong to me. I thought vampires (of most lore) were supposed to have a predatory instinct to hunt yet we have Louis paying rat catchers to bring him live prey.
The subject of racism is addressed very heavily in the show. That being said, I do not like the idea that Lestat actually wrote Wolverine Blues and not Jelly Roll Morton. That’s not comfortable. That is the show, itself, being racist, crediting a white character for the invention of a black man, while at the same time the show tries to pretend to be aware of racial issues by talking about the racism of the era in New Orleans.
Also now Louis leaving a mangled corpse on a gate is what lead to the race riots and fall of Storyville!? This ...this feels like a bit of an insult to the cruel history of what really happened there.
Lestat used another power that does not exist in the Interview with the vampire (the novel). Lestat psychically enthralled an entire building full of men to make them all leave. This OP (over powered) ability bothered me though I also found it fascinating. At least it seemed to make Lestat quite tired and I think even his ears bled.
Also too much happens off camera. Half of Lestat’s speech to entice Louis into becoming a vampire is talked-over with narration and here in episode 3 Louis mentions that they can feed on animals but we are never shown him learning this / Lestat teaching him this when Lestat is who taught him this in the novel.
Maven of the Eventide (vampire film, book, and show critic) pointed out a major contradiction. In the very first episode Lestat actually says “I bring death to those who deserve it.” But in this episode it’s Louis who tries to talk Lestat into feeding on evil doers. This version of Lestat has no real interest in feeding on murderers- which is a big deviation from the books. Lestat exclusively hunted murderers who felt no remorse in the novels and it was not Louis’s idea and no, Lestat did not think it stupid.
It’s weird that they removed Lestat’s preference for feeding on evil doers after already giving him the line “I bring death to those who deserve it.” What the Hell does the line mean now? He also would admit (in The Vampire Lestat novel) that this was a lie, he knew no one really deserves death- no matter how terrible they are. But he didn’t want to kill the innocent.
This show has a LOT of contradictions. Like having Lestat able to project his thoughts to Louis after making him a vampire even though they still say their minds are blocked to each other. Also there is that annoying (and stolen from Twilight) idea that Lestat thinks all mortals think about is Home, Food, and Sex. Really, Lestat? You’ve never encountered a non-hungry aesexual (or child) who wasn’t thinking about home? Since when do Anne Rice’s vampires think mortals are that shallow and petty?
Also thought reading and thought projection were interconnected powers in the book, both aspects of telepathy so it’s weird that the show creators decided to tamper with the rules when some very dramatic scenes in the books were the result of a vampire not being able to psychically call out to his maker or fledglings for help.
Louis also apparently has “The fire gift” (Anne Rice’s later novels obnoxious name for pyrokinesis).
Lestat was already repeatedly confirmed as bi / Pan and polyamorous but the show felt the need to go further in “explaining” (read: Idiot proofing) Lestat’s preferences by changing the gender of the musician Lestat turned in Interview with the vampire (novel). Antione is now Antionette.
Also apparently Louis now has a previous male lover. This rubbed me the wrong way. I thought Lestat was meant to be Louis’s bi / gay awakening.
I sort of accepted the show’s bi-erasure in making Louis totally gay (like how many Xena: Warrior Princess fans ignore her having male love interests in the original show) but something about changing the gender about the Nicolas-like lover Lestat takes bothers me for reasons I don’t entirely know.
Another weird thing is Louis seems able to control his own hunger by biting himself and drinking his own blood. Vampiric masturbation? That should not resolve the hunger because when a vampire loses blood it increases the hunger. This should leave him even less satisfied / more hungry than he started, at the very least from the self-injury.
I’m starting to think that Rashied (Louis’s modern day henchman who seems to think Louis is a God) is actually Armand...
They at least acknowledge that Lestat has a serious fear of being alone. He wanted to give Louis the chance to truly be himself as a vampire and he wanted the assurance that he had someone who would always be there for him. Lestat has serious abandonment issues- one of the few traits the show left him from the books. But having Lestat believe that there is no true goodness in humanity, worth protecting, bothers me.
One thing I will admit to loving about episode 3 of Interview with the vampire. I really love Louis's new red vintage sunglasses. They look much better than the pair he wore previously.

2. Who was your first muse?

He's from an anime/manga/game (it's all three), called Alice in the country of hearts. The fandom was so small as well, we all knew each other and had pretty much had one or two people playing the same character so were able to interact with the world as a whole without lots od dulpicates. His name is Elliot March and is second in command for a mafia which is basically the equivalent of the mad hatter's tea party group. He's the equivalent of the march hare. The best thing is he's basically a giant himbo bunny that loves cake (I just didn't know what a himbo was at the time). He's fiercely Loyal and adorable. And part of me is tempted to bring him back one day if I can find the right fc because seriously he's great fun. But when I played him it was when you didn't need an fc so would take a lot of things.
4. Favourite thing about roleplaying?
I love writing and being creative. I love creating a character and seeing them flourish. To me it's so similar to drama which is one of my huge passions and it helps get my creativity out.
9. What are some differences between you and your muse/muses?
There's a lot. First half of them are dudes and I'm a girl. Next they all have sexual experience and sexual interest. I am somewhere on the aesexual spectrum and a virgin. They're all fairly confident as well and I'm not. There's a few that smoke and do drugs, I can proudly say I've done neither. Also tattoos, i have none. Of course there's the whole none of them are human. But there's lots of differences between me and them with prefences, Fears, likes and personality
6. Favourite trope?
Arranged marriages. God I love an arranged marriage that turns out well. Also the grumpy muse that hates everyone expect their adorable bean that gets hurt just getting out of bed.

gwyn is a nymph. what do you think your nymph side would be like? Could she have fairy wings (I'd kneel down, really) or maybe she's a water nymph (yes, I'm starting to think about gwyn and tarquin, thanks anon). she would get along well on Adriana if she were a water nymph.
One more question, Amren is from another world, but she is in a faerie body, do you think she could have a mate? (I do not think so). What about her and Varian? They are cute together. he's the only one who isn't scared of who she is. would love to be more about them and mostly a pov about Amren's feelings (does she have 🧐).
hmm i think Gwyn is half nymph, what type? we don’t know yet. however, Gwyn did describe her twin sister, Catrin, to have black hair, pale skin and webbed hands/fingers. it reminds me a lot of a Siren tbh. so i believe that Gwyn is a water nymph of some sort. river, ocean, lake nymph, who knows yet. due to her mother’s heratige, and with Gwyn already having long legs, i can see her being a really good swimmer. maybe she can shift into a mermaids tail but we don’t know her gifts yet?
as for Amren, i don’t believe that she has a mate. i think it’s ridiculous that her and Verian together, it just makes no sense. Amren isn’t one to be in a relationship, but i think SJM needs all of her characters to be in one so they can be happy. i did make a post already about how i think Amren should be nonbinary and aesexual.

First time I've done this in a while but I was bored at work and decided 'why the hell not.'
Meet my si/oc for Hazbin Hotel, Capper Dubois.
Born to one of the richer families of New Orleans, Louisiana in the late 1800s; he was an influential and charitable businessman who provided both work and housing for many of the poorer districts of the city, especially minority groups.
He would eventually go on to become Alastor's stepfather. While he's well aware of his son's less than legal activities, Alastor's targets where always men that resembled his biological father (ie: drunkards and abusers), someone that both men absolutely despise and so Capper never confronted him on this.
After Alastor's death, Capper would track down the hunter who killed his son, kidnap him, and then feed him to his own hunting dogs. Between the death of his son and his wife's passing from illness a few years earlier, Capper found no reason to go on and so allowed himself to be caught and arrested and later given the death penalty.
Once in Hell, Capper would become an Overlord like his son, though it took him quite a bit longer since he did not have access to the same level of power that Alastor did. He would run his territory similarly to how he ran his business in life: charitable and fair to the souls under his employ but an absolute nightmare to anyone looking to cause trouble. This has made his little corner of Hell more stable than the rest, similar to Cannibal Town.
Having been more aware of Alastor's true character such as his aesexuality, psychopathy, and touch aversion, he has always been mindful of his son's boundaries and done his best to respect them. As a result, Capper is possibly the only male Alastor feels any sort of genuine affection towards, though nowhere near what he feels for his mother or Rosie.
Being a rather practical and pragmatic man, Capper rarely indulges in the wanton violence and other vices common for sinners unless he absolutely has to, seeing it as petty and wasteful to do otherwise. The only real indulgence he allows himself is torturing the two men he hates most: Alastor's father and the hunter. Anyone who looks beneath his glasses can see their souls being burned, screaming for all eternity but unable to escape or be heard.
Eventually, he would support Charlie's efforts for the Hazbin Hotel and seek redemption for himself. His main reasons for doing so being wanting to see his wife again in Heaven but also because he wants to let go of the hate he's been holding onto for literal decades (wrath) and because he's annoyed with his habbit of allowing terrible acts to happen because they don't immediately affect him (sloth).

Meet the main characters for my story, "Wands and Swords Against Evil"
Samantha Archambeau is a bubbly witch,a student at Phantasma High, the famous school for witchcraft.She is a dreamer who is fascinated with magic and thinks it can make the world a happier place. She is the type of person to have a ton of cute charms and uses pastel pens to highlight her lessons.She is creative, a huge fan of cartoons, superheroes and anime.But she has a secret, she is the superhero Sunrise, protector of witches, wielder of the Sun Enchanted(hint:Those adorable bows she has are the Sun Enchanted)
Gail Williams is shy, a people pleaser to a fault and quite pessimistic.Despite this, he deeply cares about the friends he has.He is a student at the prestigious Roundtable Academy.He loves to draw, create stories for his characters or fanart for his favourite comics, movies or manga.Even though he's a quiet person at first, once someone brings up one of his favourite topics,he will be talkative and filled with joy.He loves classic rock and early 2000s emo music. He always brings his sketchbook with him and a comic to read.Also he's surprisingly good at cooking.
Samantha and Gail are childhood friends who grew up in Paris, but now live in London.Even though they didn't see each other for a while due to a tragedy that happened in 2018, they managed to reunite in 10th grade.The story takes place during their final year at highschool.
Samantha is a biromantic aesexual who uses She/Her pronouns and is 1,63 m and Gail is transgender and bisexual, uses he/they pronouns and is 1,88 m.

My first birthday on Tumblr, and im a fckin 20 year old bitch!!! hahahahahah finally. Well, idk im exciting for what cuz I've been isolated from my social circle and only have 2 to 4 friends that are still talking, no more that much birthday wishes like I use to have during school but im still appreciate I can live until 20.
God knows how many time I almost give up myself, and this one of the reason im in love with Percy and Oliver. NGL this ship really help me get through a lot.
