Hi hi! Sorry but were you the one who wrote the fic of Cassian accidentally attacking reader while Az is away on a mission?
no, but i know what you're talking about. i think i remember it being late out at the House of Wind and Cassian thought the reader was an intruder and attacked her. i think he choked her until Nesta came out and removed Cass off from the reader. then Azriel rushed to the House after feeling his mate's fear down the mating bond.
does this sound correct?
if so, check the comments and hopefully any other readers who've also read it or one of my mutuals might've wrote it and they can confirm there. i have a feeling either @violet-shadows @fieldofdaisiies or @azrielscrown might have written something of the sort.

I'm Coming Back
Hello angels,
Under deep consideration, I've decided to come back to the ACOTAR & Crescent City fanficion community on Tumblr. I've missed writing for you guys and I really do miss interacting with the fandom.
I know I originally left because I no longer support SJM—and I still don't!—however, a few of my followers made convincing points that I could still write about the author's characters without supporting her; which is what I will do.

Hello Lia, thank you so so much for this eye-opening post. I had no idea about this post from sjm and I am quite shocked about how she dealt with the topic, somehow squeezing the death of a girl somewhere in between lines about her book.
I absolutely understand that you no longer write for her characters, you have all right to do so and nobody will or can blame you for it. It is the right decision you make!!
I am glad you stay on tumblr, I would have missed your writing greatly, but especially YOU. I am looking forward to what you have planned for other fandoms💛

Hello angels,
I’ve thought long and hard about this and I’ve come to the conclusion to no longer write fan-fiction of any of Sarah Janet Mass’ works/books. More specifically, I will not be writing “A Court of Thorns and Roses” nor “Crescent City”fan-ficion anymore.
I had just been informed by a TikTok mutual of mine a few weeks ago of the offensive, careless, and selfish decision Sarah had made regarding the promotion of her book: “A Court of Silver Flames”. Using the death of an African American who was victim and died of police brutality to further promote a book is offensive and does not benefit the black community in anyway. You could defend that Sarah’s Instagram post was not offensive since she mentioned Breonna Taylor’s death and the racial injustice going on in the United States. However, she had no reason to use the same post to promote the release of A Court of Silver Flames. In fact, I believe that the mention of Breonna Taylor’s murder was rushed, as if only added in for the sake of publicity to promote her book. If she truly cared for the inequality and lives of Black Americans, she would have made a separate post to address the issue, as multiple authors have done with the same incident. Please refer to the screenshot below to further understand.
I am ashamed that I only now became aware of this insensitive matter recently, as this post was made in late 2020. I was naive to think that modern authors could not be problematic, but boy, was I wrong. From now on, I will make sure to do my research on authors before I decide to invest my time, money, and energy into their books.
As a woman of color myself who has a black mother, I am deeply offended by Sarah and therefore can no longer write fan-fiction of her books without feeling guilty and disgusting.
With that being said, I do want to thank each and every one of you angels for not only supporting me but for also making me laugh and become the best writer I can be. I do appreciate you guys so so much. As a content creator who does have a relitively large platform on this app, it is my job to bring awareness to situations like this and be careful of whose books I promote. I feel that by writing fan-fiction for Sarah Janet Maas, I am in a way promoting her books and who she is which is not something I want to do. I know that you guys follow me to read ACOTAR and Crescent City fan-fiction, so I do understand if you decide to unfollow me.
This is not the end of this account, rather an end of an era!!!!
Like I said before, I will no longer write fan-fiction for any of Sarah J. Mass’ books, however, there are some fandoms I do want to start writing for, like “The Cruel Prince” series, “Shatter Me” series, “Kingdom of the Wicked”series, James Cameron’s “Avatar” movie series, and so much more.
Again, thank you so much. I adore each and everyone of you. Whether you decide to continue following me or not, I hope that you take care and try not to make the same mistake I did.

tysm for all of your kind words on my recent post 😊 i honestly didn’t think that many writers felt the same way in terms of our writing not being good enough.
to make this a bit more positive, i’ve decided to have a “Wellness Wednesday” every week. it’s a writing break for me where instead of writing and coming out with a fic, i’ll post an ACOTAR/Crescent City related topic/theory that we can all dish out and fan girl about through my asks/submissions.

like i have sm of you who follow me and enjoy my fics yet i feel like what i’m writing isn’t enough or isn’t good enough? which ik isn’t true bc of the amount of positive feedback i receive tho i still feel like it isn’t enough and i need to do more.
