Hey, everyone! Admin Tea here with another promo post!

Sign-Ups for the inaugural issue of "Zine, Please!" are open! They close February 1, 2023.

Important Info:

The 1st issue's theme is #AFTERCOLLEGE and follows the lives of the Check, Please characters...well... after college!

The zine will be be available to all as a free digital pdf upon publication

the zine will be rated the same rating as the main comic (pg-13)

We are accepting fics (3.5k word limit) and art (of all mediums!)

Contributions do not need to be 100% canon-compliant. AU's are acceptable, but they should be within theme for the issue they're submitted for.

We have a discord server where you can connect to other contributors and contact the admins! (joining is not mandatory. we have other forms of contact available <3)

"At-eez!" Episode 2

Pairing: Implied!OT8 x 9thMember!Male!Reader

Genre: mostly attempted comedy ft. a lil fluff

Warnings: nothin offensive. maybe the the sheer amount of dialogue- that should be offensive lmao

Word count: 800+ (Yes i know its short- i too am upset my brain couldn't come up with more)

So yeah- this was origianally a hongjoong x reader thing but i cant help myself so its a poly!teez thing now lmao

“Okay, now, Y/n you’re going to go over there to that seat and put on the headphones provided” The lady behind the camera prompted, hand gesturing to the chair that faced away from the group, “You shouldn’t be able to hear anything once you put the headphones on. Once you’re situated, give a thumbs up and we’ll get started with the interview.”

Before the filming for ‘At-eez’ began, the members were informed of a few predetermined filming days. This being one of them; one at a time, a member would separate off from the group and put on some noise-canceling headphones while the other members would be asked questions about that member.

The first member? Y/n.

Chosen by rock-paper-scissors, of course.

With the cameras rolling, Y/n gave a solid thumbs up from his seat and the interview began “Okay! So we’re going to go through some fan questions first. Atiny would like to know: Is there anyone that Y/n didn’t get along with during trainee years?” The question prompted a few hums from the idols in front of the camera as they tried to recall back to their trainee years.

“I don’t think there was ever a time Y/n-Hyung didn’t get along with any of us” Wooyoung spoke up, tilting his head in thought, “He’s always been able to get along with anyone and everyone.”

“He and Wooyoung definitely were the first two to get along though-“ Yunho chimed in, “The two of them were practically two peas in a pod from the beginning.” As the members shared their agreement with the two, a hand was raised at the back of the group.

“While Y/n gets along with all of us-“ Seonghwa began, catching everyone’s attention, “There was this one time where one of us, I can’t remember who, ate the last of his favourite snack and he refused to talk to them for the rest of the week. It was surprising to all of us how he could be so petty but nowadays it makes sense…”

“Ah- It was me that ate the last of his snacks…” Yunho spoke up again, a shy smile now on his face as he rubbed at the back of his neck, “I did apologise then but I’ll apologise again now. I’m sorry for eating the last of your snacks Y/n-ie”

The interviewer let out a small chuckle as she shifted through her cards before settling on one “Another atiny would like to know: Is there anything Y/n does without thinking?” she read out with a curious hum, “Ah they wanted to specify that they mean at the dorms and not in the public eye. A TMI of sorts-“

A hand immediately shot up “One thing he does is sleep in other people's beds without asking” San beamed, a small grin on his face as if he was proud of his answer. Hums of agreement were shared, some members nodding their heads too.

“Oh? If I may ask, who’s bed does he sleep in the most?”

“Definitely Hongjoong-hyungs-“ Wooyoung called out, face telling of what memory he was recalling, “Oh! and Jongho’s-“

“My bed! Y/n-Hyung has his own bed and he ends up choosing mine over it! When I’m in it too!” Jongho cried out in exasperation while cutting off Wooyoung, “He never sleeps in it when I’m not in it either-“

“In all fairness, Y/n-Hyung refuses to sleep alone.” Yeosang added, “It’s not surprising- Especially when you see how often our dear captain indulges him by letting Y/n-Hyung sleep in his bed most nights.”

“I don’t indulge him-“ Hongjoong began with a scoff, stopping when he saw all the member's eyes on him.

“Oh really?” Mingi finally spoke up, “You told me off for being too loud once because Y/n-Hyung was sleeping-“

“Maybe you were being too loud-“ Hongjoong responded with a pout

“I hadn’t even said anything!” Mingi complained, his voice coming out whining, “The look you gave me was so scary too!”

While the members continued to go back and forth between each other over their captain's overindulgence, Y/n continued to sit with his back to the group, blissfully unaware of the chaos that was unfolding behind him. Suddenly, there was a small tap on his shoulder; Y/n turned around to see the interviewer, who then motioned for him to take off his headphones and rejoin the group. Once sat, the interviewer spoke up again “Y/n, is there anything on your mind that you’d like to say to your members?”

“Hmmm… Well- I don’t know what you all discussed but I’m very happy that I’m here with you all and I hope that we get to stay as Ateez for a long time.” Y/n grinned, his head nodding with his words, “Also, Jeong Yunho, I will never forgive you for eating the last of my snacks back when we were trainees."

I don't know a ton about it but the situation with ark survival evolved, snailgames, official conquest servers and TEA clan is really funny from an outsider perspective. shit sounds literally like what happens in an mmorpg based anime like sword art online or something

HATE saying i like montauk bc i have to very very quickly go "THE VERSION ILLUSTRATED IN THE FEAR ALONE TALE + Tufto's proposal" like that damn spongebob image otherwise people will think i am a type of freak that i am Not. and the chances theyve actually read Fear Alone or Tuftos Proposal is extremely low so i then i have to explain it. your honor he did do some shit but the shock horror crimes against humanity were rumors used to generate fear to potentially contain 2317 . your honor i promise im normal

Oh yeah Fear Alone totally changed the meaning of Project Montauk.

Furthermore there are so many other scps that continuous develop and build upon the Scarlet King mythos, so it's a shame that all of it gets overshadowed by the how messed up original 231 is. Like there is a lot more to the entire Scarlet King side of SCP stories, but people still reduce all of it to "haha edgy".

Omegaverse | Ateez Personal Scents

Yes this is entirely self indulgent- do I care? not at all kekkekek.... if u wanna discuss these with me tho im down so lemme know what you think! (also yes this isnt neatly presented it literally came from the notes app on my phone-) This is also written with an x male! reader in mind bc thats what i write heh

(Alpha that reads beta at first) Hongjoong: it’s so typical but hongjoong smells like the sea. but he also has notes of amber and spice? but they’re low-key. reminds me of a bonfire on the beach on a warm summers night. smth u could just. dive right into. Sea is his main scent with amber just under the waves for sure. the spice kicks u right in the face once you do smell it tho-

(Omega n only omega) Seonghwa: I’m sorry bby but ur such an omega it hurts. anywhays. hwa definitely smells of strawberries, cherry blossom and milk. his scent is mostly strawberries and milk with a v delicate floral touch hehe. the sweetest dessert kinda smell? would i eat him? yes,,, (i’m gonna move on now before i lose it)

(Beta that seems like an alpha) Yunho: Our dear Yun smells like anise, caramel and musk. his scent def makes people think hes an alpha at first,, that n how fuckin tall he is (bastard). heavy on the caramel and anise too. His scent is a very comforting kinda warmth and ppl love it. 10/10 on the scent scale

(Omega that seems like a beta) Yeosang: Yeo! Cocoa butter, peaches and lilies is the combo for him for sure. His scent is super soft n sweet but not too sweet? Hes like a yankee candle lmao. The cocoa butter is his main scent with a subtle layer of peaches over it n u can j u s t smell the lilies in the background of his scent profile. very summer bakery energy

(Alpha with audacity) San: Listen,,,, this was personal (Kinda like m jongho scent idea but thats later) Amber leather and vanilla. He smells like Dior Sauvage. this man is SCRUMPTIOUS. Very typical alpha smell and very overpowering at times. but he pulls it off so well??? the fucker. he smells good and he knows it but tbf,,, everyone does. His scent is heavy on the amber and vanilla notes tho.

(Omega with way too much audacity) Wooyoung: The ratman himself smells like mandarins, smoky wood and a hint of peony. His scent is probably a little atypical for an omega as its heavy on citrus and not florals but thats what sets him apart from others. the mandarin smell will legit kick u in the nose n this is then quelled by the smoky wood n peonies after. it can b a lil overwhelming but its very nice once u get used to it uwu

(Beta that seems like an alpha with a personality of an omega at times) Mingi: I hate to admit it but my cleaning supplies helped me with this-,,, Jasmine, fresh linen and lemongrass. I cant imagine mingi not having a more gentle floral scent??? its a very delicate and fresh kinda scent on the nose and its super pleasant. Stronger on the jasmine and fresh linen for sure. Kinda reminds me of cleaning day during the spring? delightful <3

(Alpha ppl assume is a beta?) Jongho: Another personal one. this came from two 'perfumes' I have and they absolutely melt me when combined so,,, Cedarwood, Musk and fougere. its kinda similar to sans but more,,, woodsy? Homeboy smells like the forest wbk okay- anyways, its a super traditional scent for sure (If u look at omegaverse in the more wolfy aspect like i do-) and ppl love it (me too tf) Hes def heavy on the musk and that has a hint of cedarwood behind it then followed by the fougere. good scent 10/10 would sniff uwu

Summary: We're two weeks after the events of "Exes and Oohs", and Millie has been kidnapped. She's grudgingly enjoying solitary confinement in the world's dustiest yet simultaneously most pristine dungeon when an unlikely face from her past comes sauntering in; against her protests he decides to stick by like a leech, and they end up having a surprisingly genuine conversation years in the making.

Not a confession and… kind of critical?? Might qualify as a fix-it?? Honestly just wanted to give Millie the lore she was robbed of in that episode, as well as do a fun little show-don't-tell exercise. (Also, Chaz has a character now beyond walking penis gag. Sort of.)

#thoughts from my first week of work:#1. everyone is really nice!! they all seem excited i'm there. not gonna lie...feeling wanted/needed >>>>#2. almost everyone uses my correct pronouns i'm kinda floored #3. front desk admin is super sweet & took me out to lunch. she's a destiel shipper & blackpink stan. For anyone who cares, "high tea" is the little 5pm lunch the working class had. It's "high" because it was taken on the pub bar, which is at a tall height from the floor. Whereas "low tea" is the tea the aristocrats and the rich had also at 5pm; in this case "low" comes from the fact that the tea was served on coffee tables which are a bit shorter than regular side tables and considerably shorter than a pub bar.

Considering how much she claims to live the Victorian era, she's quite ignorant about it.
