S3 Flayed! Billy looks like a doll. And essentially, he is one. A puppet, really.

He speaks through his eyes, and nobody hears.

Which is why I think his final yell of defiance is poetic as hell.

But it was useless, because him gaining control and taking his voice and body back ended up being trashed on repeatedly in season 4.

Also: why did they keep cutting from Billy to Hopper if they were just going to bring Jim back anyway?

#manectric #i woke up at like noon today y'all i'm queuing this after work. i forgot about it all day and i was about to hop on totk #but i got the reminder to do it. so here i am. with manectric #el woowoo‚ if you will #a lot happened. yesterday. it was not a very good day. which is why i woke up so late. it was a little bit rough. but i guess it's a new day #so. it'll get better. planning on Not Doing Shit today or tomorrow to compensate for all the Bullshit that happened yesterday #hoping you all are doing well. one week from today (friday june sixteenth) i'll be hopping on a flight for the first time in 10 years #looks like according to the queue this will actually go up the day before we leave. so‚ to you guys‚ i'll be heading out tomorrow #which is scary a little bit. last time i flew i had no idea i was autistic‚ but now that i've come up with a lot of better accommodations #for myself and i understand myself a lot better and my needs‚ i'm realizing a lot of my accommodations just aren't gonna make it through TSA #plus it's a lot of unfamilarity with unfamiliar people and an unfamiliar environment which i feel like is gonna lend itself to sensory #overload like Immediately and i'm probably gonna get a headache bc that's how it manifests for me #so when we get there i'm probably gonna have to run to the nearest pharmacy. and grab some shit. which is annoying! so. i'm a little #worried. about the trip. grrrrrrrrrrrrr apparently the plumber came to check my radiators while i was in class and he said they were working fine....and now the dorm worker (who is a ver special woman who is (in her opinion) always right) told me. and she probably thinks im a liaaarrrrrr

#god that woman aggravates me in the worst way possible #shes so two faced its honestly amazing. at the beginning of last yr she threatened w expelling me bc i 'talked bad about her'#when 1st of all: i was recounting what had happened the yr prior and 2nd of all: if that is talking bad. then calling the director->#'the stupid fucking bald man' (el puto calvo de los cojones) should be met w a lifetime expulsion from the dorms #(according to her). anyways so when i got named as dorm RA or whatever. the way she talked to me changed entirely #and she was completely sweet w me. compared to BEFORE the school yr began where she said (to ppl who knew me) i needed 'serious mental help #but last yr and this yr ive always felt the way she judges me in the way she talks to me abt certain things (the radiator for example)#z xarre

I'm so ambivalent to Supermartian right now, but when M'Gann demands a Cadmus-minded Superboy to let her show him who he is... (okay it wasn't really harsh, she said it gently, "Let me show you who you are?", she shows him basically Conner look at M'Gann, kissing M'Gann, hugging M'Gann, everything basically about M'Gann

Honestly, I'm ambivalent because as horrible as this sounds, Conner is nothing with M'Gann. She is her life and personality from day 1. The boy never gained a personality and life outside of that relationship before the Team and maybe found out he liked animals and mechanics, fixing motorcycles. But even that, M'Gann has got to be there.

Season 4 if anything shows that without M'Gann, Conner is just a Cadmus clone enslaved to his prior programming and with no free will. He believes himself evil. Only with M'Gann, he is not...

And if you are reading that last paragraph thinking that's romantic, something is freaking wrong with you.

I just find it disgusting and kind of mourne for the character Conner could've been. Hell is other versions, the ones in the comics HAD MORE personality and had close relationships beyond just one person.

I just...hate Supermartian ugh

Anyways the milkshake theory is so real

#byler #mike subtly trying to one up will over his gf being better #bc that's what guy friends do #like him and dustin #but he has to do it subtly bc he's too much of a scaredy cat to ask will about this girl he 'likes' (according to el)#and so when mike makes a subtextual joke about his milkshake being better (his girlfriend being better)#and angela rolls up at that exact moment #comedic timing that 99.99% of the audience missed #also interesting that mike seems sort of dejected after this conversation...#i think mike thought he won in his little gf competition with dustin in the episode previous #he kind of just laughed off dustins remark but it does look like he felt sure of himself #the problem was that his arguments for why his gf is better cannot compete with will's gf in his eyes #bc what mike sees is will being practically entranced by angela #us the audience knows that's not what's happening #but based on everything leading up to this point #mike gets the impression upon meeting angela and watching will 'pine' after her longingly #that this is THE girl will made the painting for...#and will's visible attraction to angela (again from mike's unreliable pov) outweighs mike's attraction to el #which is why he gives his milkshake another sip #only to look dissapointed #he didn't win this round #will is in love with a girl and mike cannot compete because he is not in love with *gunshots*
