OOh thank u so much!!🤍💫 I think he would be super gentle with it(both baby&cat)! And would be curiously scrutinize it, like a new mechanism - interested in it's working algorithm. I don't think he would be very good at taking care of it(that's more Marc's thing) BUT he would be very eager to play with it!

about this specific comics(yeah i turn everything i see into narrative this is my superpower): in my experience pets rarely harm kids in contrary to adults, so this kitten scratches, bites, destroys everything/everyone she sees, but never Jake, with him she's always very obidient and kind!

She loves everyone just shows her affection very differently:)

a) marc definitely has some pretty bad flashbacks from the first trial so it's up to steven to front the whole thing b) steven haven't got to see the field of reeds, SO HE'S GOING TO SEE THE ENNEAD'S HELL OF AN APARTMENT BECAUSE THIS MAN DESERVES SOME REAL ANCIET EGYPT not just the messed up dying experience in the sands c) YES IT WAS JAKE FOR A SEC ON THE PAGE 7 IT IS HIM the little gremlin is spying on the whole thing d) steven is so smart! he figured the whole deal in 3 frames! (me not knowing english good enough to write a good scenario for these really freaking important dialogs:🙂…..yes he's just going to understand everything wordlessly. because it's hilarious.) e) I think Steven got a thing with tugging his hair in stressful situations. That’s why his hair is always a mess. f) why layla is in the suite? 'cause Taweret honors traditions(I just love drawing her costume that's it)

if someone interested, that's sort of time line of the au? some things might seem a little bit confusing, so i'll try to make them clear marc and steven got out of khonsu's deal. they did. in this comics marc was fighting beside layla as an ex marine guy, not with his ceremonial costume. layla kept the costume and avatar's status, so he decided to help her out with some fights

m&s not really aware of jake, they have their suspicions but both too anxious(& afraid) to dig deeper

layla met jake, talked with jake. they know each other. but not for a long time, so when jake asked her not to tell the others about him, she decided to leave it be for a little bit

they had a deal(sort of): she doesn't tell m&s about jake and jake helps with her missions and does nothing for khonsu before they figure out what to do next(how to tell about all of that m&s, how get jake out of khonsu's deal etc)
