MIRACULOUS FIC RECOMENDATIONS!! (Part 2)

You can find part 1 here.

The first one was really popular! So I decided to make a second part.

The rules are the same:

All of the fics will be rated Teen and up audiences or lower. Also if I don’t put the author’s tumblr is because they didn’t put it in the fic or/and I couldn’t find it.

The only thing that changes is that I would be putting the pairing in the description of the fic.

Pairing: Marichat and Adrienette.

He was the god of destruction. She was a princess whose kingdom had been prophesied to fall. To save her people, she became his wife. To save him, she would have to do the impossible. The castle has secrets, the gods are watching, and time is running out.

TW for mild violence.

Arrange marriage, God AU. While I'm making this list, I still haven't finished the fic, but I had to recommend it because is THAT good. The way I gasped out loud while reading some of the plot twists. The worldbuilding is so good, and even if you aren't into AUs that deviate a lot from cannon like me, I 100% reccomend it.

Getting stranded on a foreign planet sucked. Luckily for Nino, his rival was willing to give him a lift home. Unluckily for Nino, she was beautiful and funny and he might just be in love with her.

Okay so, peachcitt is one of my favorite ml writers. Everything that they write is sooo good y'all, and i'm already a sucker for adrienette, so I cannot recommend this fic (or any of theirs) enough.

“Don’t ever do that again,” Marinette says, maybe a little too emphatically, and Adrien looks at her, his expression quiet. His cheeks, Marinette notices, are a little red.

or Ladybug and Adrien can't seem to stop running into each other. (whether that is on accident or on purpose is nobody's business but their own, of course).

This was a ladrien june fic! Every chapter corresponds to the day's prompts but it also continues a story. If that doesn't make you want to read it then I don't know what it will. I fear fanfic writers, they're insane.

Prompt: Marinette gives Chat a hickey. Adrien has a suspiciously similar looking hickey the next day at school...

Gotta be honest with y'all, I did not expect this fic to be as good as it is. The adrienette has everything a stablished!Marichat should have. Marinette conflicted with her feelings? Check. Adrien being a hot mess bc That's My Girlfriend But She Doesn't Know That? Check. Them being absolute idiots? Check. It's good!

Doctor, Doctor, Give Me The News (Your Lips Is The Only Cure I Could Use) by BreG21.

Pairing: Adrienette

Rainwater sloshed up from the pools they had made on the sidewalk and coated his jean pants with every step he took. He couldn't bring himself to care.

He sniffed away some of the water that dribbled down his matted head. "Yeah?"

He paused as if to consider his words while Adrien stared down at him, so lost. "You weren't wrong when you thought you knew. A part of you wanted it to be her, but it was too perfect, you let the illusion fool you because how would you get that lucky. But trust me, Adrien. You weren't wrong."

He wasn't wrong? What was he not wrong about?

You weren't wrong. You want it to be her.

And it finally clicked as a small gasp wisped past his lips. He wasn't wrong.

In which, Plagg falls ill, and with Fu gone and Ladybug being the guardian now, has to go find her civilian self-even with the knowledge that she might not like that-is shocked to realize that even with having the kwami that was supposed to embodied the very being of bad luck, Adrien could conclude the very opposite of what he had thought for so long.

He was so very lucky.

When Alya and Nino drop out of their long awaited mega-sleepover at the last minute, it leaves Marinette and Adrien alone together for the night. An Adrinette one-shot with lots of fluff and sleepover shenanigans.

Marinette expects some disaster on her first outing alone with Adrien.

She just doesn't expect that disaster to be her future self passing off a baby for her to take care of with Adrien.

(Alternatively... two idiots obliviously in love cooing over their daughter while acting like they have no idea whose kid this is.)

I think the description says anything that it needs to be said. It's really sweet and funny and I love how they just change their minds so quickly and get emo for literally nothing. Peak shakesperean dumbasery.

The entire Marry That Girl series by Miraculous_Max (Maximilian_Alexander).

Pairing: Adrienette

Let’s say Marinette has a special sketchbook. This sketchbook is filled with drawings of their future house, of Adrien as an adult in multiple occupational settings, of Marinette and Adrien’s wedding, and most importantly, their future children.

Let's say Adrien found this sketchbook.

Just realized how this list exposes me as number 1 adrienette sucker... oh well. I love how Adrien doesn't feel weirded out by the intensity of Marinette's crush. He likes it! He's as weird and romantic as her! That's one of the reasons I love the lovesquare so much and it makes me happy to see that everyone is in the same boat with me.

Strenght by 11JJ11.

Pairing: Adrienette

Marinette knew she was much stronger than she looked thanks to being a hero. So when her class had an arm wrestling contest she knew that she could beat all of them with ease, but she wasn't expecting anyone else to come close.

Good ol' accidental reveal feat. the entire class shenanigans. I, once again, screamed for an adrienette fic. Who could've thought.

Super Fan by Taliax.

Pairing: Ladrien

It was a good thing Alya was holding the phone and not her, because it would have slipped from her fingers and shattered. How had she not noticed? She had been there, and somehow she’d missed her crush looking at her like she was an angel sent from heaven.

Forget the perfume ad. This picture was going to be her new desktop.

(In which Marinette realizes that she and Adrien might both be obsessive fans.)

Canon divergent from after Gorizilla. They're so dumb. That's my opinion on this fic.

How to Kiss Your Crush in Five Minutes or Less also by Taliax.

Pairing: Ladrien

He just needed to know if Ladybug needed Chat Noir. He didn't expect to learn just how much she wanted Adrien.

This would be the best five minutes of his life, if he didn't expect her to forget it.

Adrien leaves the manor on a dark and stormy night and seeks sanctuary at the only place he feels safe: The Home of the Dupain-Cheng Family. When Sabine learns why her dear boy is fleeing to her home in the middle of the night, she makes a personal visit to one Gabriel Agreste.

There's more rules in play, but not for Adrien and Marinette.

Please keep in mind that I’m a pretty basic girl? So you won’t find anything completely mind blowing—unless I actually tell you they’re mind blowing, so please enjoy!

It has some pretty unknown ships btw, so if you don’t like it please ignore it, no need to be annoying 🩵

Like Growing Frost (Lysistrate) on FanFiction.Net.

I do not know how to put a link for this one, but you have the most important infos! It’s a Hiccelsa fanfic so if you’re not about that, please don’t.

I found the story pretty interesting, the romance is well written and if you like slow burns you will definitely like it. It’s not extremely slow but they won’t fall in love immediately which is really nice. I’m not a romance type of girl, but I really liked this fiction and I read it more than twice so yeah :) The writer handled the characters pretty well, although there are some parts that I personally didn’t really like. Still, no work is really perfect so it doesn’t matter. Overall a great Fanfic you should read if you dig the ship. I personally wasn’t even into it until I read the fic haha. A 8/10! will read again for sure :d

If You’d Agree To Be My Love (eLJay)

A good Mericcup serie—these are so rare, so please enjoy! It’s a modern AU; I usually don't mess with them but it was pretty great to be honest. You quickly get attached to the characters and they're pretty relatable. The only piece I didn't enjoy that much might be the Eurotrip one but it is great nonetheless so don't listen to me, it’s best to make your own opinion. l'm just stupidly picky at times. Also read her other fanfics too! they're pretty great. A 8.5/10 ? Will read again soon.

This fanfic. It’s a masterpiece. Read it. Really, please do read it. It’s a Jelsa one (I think you guys can see a pattern now 😔) , but it’s so great like wooow why are you that great ? The ending tho...I think they low key hate me. Anyway, a great fanfic and the writer is overall so good at this so read her other work please! I could pretty much put all of her pieces here. The characters were likeable and cute, some little things annoyed me, but like I said earlier I’m kind of annoying sooo. Definitely a 9/10 will read again immediately.

His Decay (pangmida)

This one was so good ! It’s a Yandere simulator fanfiction I think ? I’m not really into the fandom but I acknowledge great work. Maybe it’s just me being extra but I really liked it so please enjoy ! Characters well written, I understood them even tho some were pretty messed up, and a nice ending. Overall a nice fanfic, 7.5/10 will read again maybe :)

Super Attraction (Rosa_Cotton)

Damn, this one was kind of a lot lmao. It’s a The Incredible fanfic, it was pretty nice and kinda cute. I really don’t know how to explain the plot but do give it a try, it’s great ! 8/10 :)

I feel kinda awkward putting smut here, but it really is that great. Might feel weird reading this since Groot is a tree, but omegaverse is a thing so why tf not, you know? An overall great piece of work really. 8.5/10

And They Were Quarantined (JellyLollie)

If you’re not really about the angst and don’t want to think a lot over a plot, this is the one for you. (It’s a Jelsa). It’s extremely light and easy to read, the characters are so cute and it’s a nice one to pass time ! 8.5/10 will probably read again this week

ALRIGHT. I think I’m done ? I cannot remember anything else even tho I know I read more awesome things than that, but this will do for now!

thanks for the tag @missgoalie75. you’re a gem. thanks for reminding me of this thing that I love to do and haven't done in ages. which of your fics are you most proud of?

both my teen wolf aus easily: coffeeshop au + daemon!college au my really old inception fic because it’s the longest thing I’ve ever written and it was one of the first entries into the ff.net archive. also my singular elementary fic.

which of your fics do you think could be expanded on if you had time?

I’m still sad I dropped this bonkai tvd fic from years ago. man that ship had so much potential.

what fics are you reading at the moment?

god I haven’t read new fic in ages. I read a pretty good elementary one randomly the other day. I wish I could remember the title.

do you have any fics that you go back to reread?

oh definitely. my ff.net profile has all my favourite naruto stuff; when I’m feeling nostalgic about glee I re-read caution to the birds; kris (@missgoalie75) is the queen of anything gilmore girls.

how many fic ideas have you got ‘on the back burner’?

there’s always at least 3 bouncing around in my head. I wish I made/had more time to write fic these days.

can you share any?

well I started my semi-traditional pre or post season opener fic for the royals. especially since I just watched the premiere my jaspenor feels are through the roof right now.

I’ve been holding onto a st. berry in NYC fic pre-marriage/finale for YEARS. but I haven’t written for glee since my innocent klaine days of youth. what will you NEVER include in a fic?

noncon definitely, or anything super kinky probably.

is there a phrase you find yourself repeating in your fics?

the word absolution definitely comes up a lot I’m sure. also I use probably way too much passive voice.

21) Tell me about another writer(s) who you admire? What is it about them that you admire?

GAH! Well, @every-day-is-star-wars-day is amazing at details. I used to be detail orientated in a bad way, and then I just threw out most descriptors completely, but she has such a good balance of describing something enough that your immersed without it being purple poetry. Its probably what gets you ready to read 1 chap of a fic of hers and then 3 days later its 28 chapters in and youve done nothing else. @purple-satan-fic ‘s vocabulary is fucking insane. Everytime I read a fic of theirs I’m always floored and writing down notes like ‘stealing that word, stealing that word’ LOL. For real, the terms/word choices come out of nowhere but it brings the fic up to such a quality level. @therentyoupay is a fucking KILLER at relationship nuances and interactions. OH MY GOD. The subtle worldbuilding around interpersonal drama is just SO GOOD. And its not cheesy or soap drama like or OOC ever. Its just someone who obviously knows their craft and can do these modern aus or longfics without ever letting the pacing get dull or the characters get “fanficcy” whatever that means.

Theres so many others I admire, but those are probably the ones I steal from the way artists might try to replicate a style. 33) What’s the biggest compliment you’ve gotten? Someone once told me they were so attached to my Dishonored fic canon that Corvo was mute, that they deliberately didn’t play Dishonored 2. That was crazy. Also anytime anyone EVER draws my fic, I want to bury myself in the ground wrapped in a coffin of their printed out art. My favorite book is Sabriel and The Rosie Project. Sabriel for amazing worlds and fantasy plot and dram. The Rosie Project for a modern romance/comedy.slice of life that doesn’t feel like a Harlequin novel.

pairing: marinette dupain-cheng/adrien agreste + miraculous ladybug, future what!if.

Marinette almost doesn’t say it. Adrien is looking at her like he’s rediscovered the sun, and she thinks about how easy it would be to cross the scant foot of air dividing them.

But even though it’s been a long, long time since she’s been Ladybug, Marinette has always been brave.

“What happened doesn’t change anything. This—this doesn’t change anything.”

Adrien doesn’t make a sound—he doesn’t even avert his gaze—but the happiness crumbles from his face. Marinette doesn’t know whether she wants to laugh or cry at the absurdity of it: it is the exact same expression she’d seen on Chat Noir last. They’d thought they were lost to each other forever, when really—They’d each been in the other’s orbits all along.

She barely remembers what combination of words had been said, what snippets of their past lives had been let slip for the pieces to slot together so neatly.

But here is Chat Noir and Ladybug, revealed and reunited, ten years too late. Here is Adrien Agreste, newly engaged to a woman that Marinette had introduced him to, a woman that Marinette counts as a close friend.There is a foot of air dividing them; there is a decade of space holding them apart.

Marinette goes home to her empty apartment. Eyes dry, body tucked into a small ball, she thinks about the terrible sort of sadness that is beyond even tears.

She half-dozes on her couch until someone starts knocking at her door at five in the morning and doesn’t stop.

Dazed, Marinette drags herself to her feet and opens the door. She should have expected him—should have anticipated the dizzying punch of pain, but she hadn't, so she is left wondering how her heart can still be in her throat when she’d been so sure she’d last left it by his feet.

Predawn indigo is just beginning to lighten into soft lavender behind Adrien. The color is the same shade as the dark shadows under his eyes.

“You told me to go out with Emile because it could be good for me, that I had a right to be happy.”

There is a small suitcase behind him.

“You’re my happy.”

The first soft splashes of sun soaks Adrien’s face in gold, hits his eyes in just the right way so the green shifts and changes.

Chat Noir.

A small cry—only a breath, really, a half-exhalation of his name—and Adrien stumbles forward, does what Marinette hadn’t had enough courage to do. Because walking away from him may have been hard, but going to him? Cupping his face in her hands and looking in his eyes and pressing tear streaked kisses to his forehead like he’s doing to her—?

That is so much more terrifying.

“Marinette?”Standing at her open door, standing on the cusp of something monumental, Ladybug and Chat Noir regard each other through half-lidded eyes.

There is only one thing left to do:

Marinette lets him in.

“Man,” Nino groans, accepting defeat at last, as he gives the golden elevator doors a vicious, vengeful kick. Just like that, he remembers his present company.

Nino turns chagrined eyes to Ladybug.

“Er. Sorry… Probably shouldn't take it out on the doors?”

Ladybug doesn't seem to hear him. She is staring hard at the security camera located in the corner. He's never seen her so quiet… not that he's seen much of her, that is. Definitely not this close.

Damn, he can't help but think. What Adrien wouldn't give to be here right now.

“I'm sure they'll fix it soon,” Nino offers tentatively, because it seems like something Adrien might say. Or Ladybug, probably, if she weren't so distracted.

“They will,” she acknowledges, but her eyes are still pretty far away. “That's what I'm worried about.”

“What?”

Ladybug straightens. She makes a decision; it does really pretty things to her eyes, so Nino doesn't hear her at first, when she asks him for his hat.
