My man dressed up as Dennis Hopper in ‘Apocalypse Now’ for Halloween. He wears cowboy boots & smokes Marlboro Red 100’s. He reminisces to Marty Robbins, he smokes weed listening to Steely Dan & Sublime. He writes me messy notes, he smiles his boy-like smile. He doesn’t call me baby, he calls me ‘cowpoke’ instead. His laugh is gorgeous & it bellows from his diaphragm — rolling into his throat & off his tongue. He likes his flannels, his 70’s Nikon, too. He spins tales about future solo-trips to Zion & the Sierras, he deconstructs the atomic age through The Clash’s ‘Combat Rock’. His curls fall almost at his shoulders, his shoulders are broad & beautiful. He has the same name as a Johnny Cash song. When he’s wild & depraved, his eyes are wide with feral longing. His smile is toothy, his evil-eye is lethal. I think, soon, I might fall in love with him. Who’s to tell, where time’ll lead.

There’s something extremely heartbreaking about Nicos cameo/first words in the show being him looking for Bianca. He’s always going to be the little boy looking for his big sister. Season three is going to be the end of me.

I think Price is a tummy man. Loves to kiss your stomach, grab it to pull you back into his thrusts, loves to see your shirt lift up a little when you reach for something on the top shelf. He's a provider, he likes knowing you're well fed, healthy, that he's providing for you. He likes his baby soft. Maybe he's a little old fashioned like that.

And Ghost likes thighs, he will not budge on this. Nothing you can say will change his mind that there's no better spot to lay his head, nothing softer he'd rather be between, and certainly nowhere better to mark up. Again it's the softness! He's got enough hard shit to deal with(wink) that he wants to have some softness with you. Let him be soft and needy and lay his head on your lap, he won't fall asleep this time he promises.

inspired by recent events from my sister’s actual real life

there is something unique and deeply special about monkey d luffy as a protagonist. he’s overwhelmingly ADORED by the fandom. he’s consistently the most or at least top 3 most popular characters in the whole series. peoples takes about him are gushingly positive. and that’s… really uncommon.

a LOT of fandoms i’ve witnessed or been in have a tendency to favor characters other than the main character. especially in anime. the main characters are often written as a blank slate for readers/watchers to project onto, but that makes them not as interesting and so they don’t get the fan attention.

but luffy is so far from that. and he’s ALWAYS been this way. we love him so much. he’s the heart of the story and the heart of the fandom in every single way. and i think that speaks to how well-written he is as a character. he’s fun and charming and complex and interesting and he makes us laugh and cry and cheer and hope and love. he’s able to inspire so much joy in people, both in his world but also in this one. and i think that’s really special. i feel so grateful to have found this story that means so much to me, and i’m so grateful that luffy exists.
