I hope it wasn't too bad...#We had something similar last year#We live in a kind of a distant village#And our streets are connected to one heating system#And it was so cold last year that this station just broke#Me and my sister have been without water electricity and heat first day *giggle* It was funny to wear 2 complects of cloths and jacket#It was... like... -14 inside of home? *giggle*#On the second day we at least got electricity back and got a little heater (We were separated from parents so the have been calling 3#times per day XDD) We closed all doors to not let the heat outside#Since we got sick and couldn't take a shower#We were able to go to school but we looked like shit XDD#Then we were lying next 2 days like potatoes in one room with a heater... it felt awful XDD#They couldn't fix the main heating system for almost 3 days#It was... funny.... never want to experience the same again and hope you will not too

Danny had been cursed when traveling the infinite realms he was exploring a world where the year was 1528, he had been exploring when a person uses magic to try to bind Danny to himself instead he bonded Danny to the land killing the magic user in the process. Danny became stuck in this new dimension unable to leave, he had no one to look and find him. Over the years many have tried to bond Danny to themselves but ended with their death, and Danny with more chains and being cursed
In the year 1695 people started to settle down in the land that Danny was bound to. Over the years the place became known as Gotham Danny protect everyone he could but he has grown weak because of the chains that hold him down. When Batman appeared and started helping protect Danny's people Danny decided to bless him with protection and each Robin Batman had would be protected
In 2260 another magic user appeared and tried to take control of Danny this time they were able to take control of him, but Danny made sure that the magic user and he could not leave Gotham. Batman had to let The Justices League into his city with a couple of the Justice League Dark. John was the one to tell the bats that the magic user had been able to enslave the Gotham spirit.

The more times I re-watch Lost the madder I get that ANYONE still wants to leave the island once they discover there are showers and processed foods. What more do you even need? Smartphone-induced insomnia?? Office jobs????? Robocalls??? Vacuuming???? INCOME TAX????????

I finally got around to watching @lesbianmindflayer’s Top Ten Hints Mike is Gay video… The Snow Ball one added a whole other layer of context to those scenes that didn’t really click for me until now—
#byler#mike wheeler#it was the dustin/nancy parallels to mike/el#like it was something that on the surface I noticed and I heard ppl talk about and was like duh#but hearing the set up of it in s1…#that was something I also was aware of but seeing them side by side was a little too visceral#you can tell that a writer put those scenes next to each other and was making them with each other in mind when they made all those choices#and then how both dustin and mike were sad that the person they liked was dancing with someone else…#and then ended up dancing with someone that more so fits a platonic/sister bond…#you got me crying baby baby please playing right before mike and el kiss…#more like you’ve got me crying baby baby please get me out of here#like what kind of lyric choice is that bro??????#and then to overlap it with the crypticness of the mindflayer watching over them?#once this is a five part story… it’s gonna be hard to see these scenes as romantic#bc we’re gonna be seeing all of these parallels in very close proximity..#s5 is really going to be the thing that changes how people are going to be able to understand the previous seasons#it’s gonna be quite the spectacle

saw someone say that kazuki's backstory about his ex-wife felt like just a filler sub-plot in this episode, and i have to respectfully disagree
#the whole point was that he's been afraid to change and afraid to seek happiness elsewhere and only hanging onto her memory#he said it himself#and until he accepts the past and accepts to change himself and move on with his life the plot wont be able to move forward either#we've seen him take the steps to be more responsible for miri and all. and now is the next step for him to also be 100% emotionally present#which he is able to do after getting closure thanks to his sister-in-law. and it ties in well with the family dynamics plot too#because he's not just playing house anymore .he needs to be there fully for miri .and rei also needs to realise a similar thing#that he needs to put effort into the family#anyway it was in no way 'filler' and i do suspect whoever wrote that post might just be unhappy about kazuki being given such an important#and emotional straight marriage backstory. some people are weird like that#buddy daddies

3rd time I got rejected after an interview now. I’ve been applying to jobs since January. I don’t know how much more of this I can take.
#I wasn’t particularly that qualified for this position#but it was honestly the only job I could have got through nepotism I guess#as my sister knew a couple of people on the interview panel#so now it’s even more clear that I’m not going to be able to get a job for a long fucking time#essentially all the jobs I’ve applied to these past few weeks won’t have interviews until the end of the month so all my dreams of maybe#applying for a PhD at the end of the year are fucked because I won’t have wasn’t enough by next October to afford one#God why does no body want me#why am I never good enough

I think my glee obsession is returning in full force
#this is a nice feeling#i didnt have gleecast anywhere on my Spotify wrapped last year for the first time in... years!!!#but here i am listening to all the songs on repeat most of today#and reading glee fic#and looking at my currently abandoned fics#and having Thoughts™️ and headcanons and just...#special interest obsession shit#its calming and happy and sksgxkdk#also my reading brain is back which is SUCH a relief!#its been like 3 months of only being able to read a book in audiobook form#like my sister write this whol prophecy for our dnd campaign and i could not for the life of me understand it not matter how hard i tried#but last session i finally clicked#and im READING A PHYSICAL BOOK TOOOOOOOO#i just feel more settled because of it its nice#i think i really didnt like the weird weather the uk was having- it being HOT AS BALLS and then freezing like the next week#and then christmas and stress over bemefits happened#but now yhats mostly set... i think.. ish... its still confusing and scary#but ay least i have words i can read to escape it#katy liveblogs life#i am using tumblr like a diary rn ignore me 😂

one of my non writing goals for the year is to make more things with my hands and I just came across so much journal paper. I cannot wait to try a little bookbinding project.
#i do not own glue or thread or literally any of the items necessary to do this except binder clips for the edges#but i feel like those are borrow-able items & i'll ask around#also want to make a tiny zine (i want to do a revision exercise of my own poetry based on a lecture on generative revision by monica youn)#and maybe learn to sew#tried a single line of crochet in december and was like never again but maybe knitting next#my sister insists that when we were kids and she got a beginner knitting set one christmas i basically took it over 😂 (i don't remember)
