Has anyone done A Silent Voice au for trigun? If not here's my version since I noticed that there were no fics for it on ao3. (And I love both series so yeah).

There's vashwood ofc, it's necessary.

Anyway, here's basic roles so far:

Vash as Shouko (cause we gotta keep the "odd one out" vibe here if you know what i mean)

Wolfwood as Shouya

Nai as Shouko's mom (I thought about making him take the role of Yuzuru, but thought this fit better, especially going off the Manga of ASV.) They're still brothers tho.

Meryl as Yuzuru (but you know as friends instead of siblings)

Milly as Nagatsuka (I know, it hurts me to put Meryl and milly on antagonistic terms here, but it just makes sense. They'll make up, or just be nice to each other idk)

Miss Melanie as Shouya's mom and Livio as Maria, obviously.

That's all I have so far. I'll update about it later.

So, I just watched A Silent Voice on YouTube and I have a AU idea, so I wrote a fic for it so-

I Really Am Selfish, Right? | A Silent Voice AU

(After the incident, Shoya hated the sound of his voice, and it reminded him of Shouko's lack of one, and basically, it escalated into him becoming selectively mute.)

Shouko was passing the bridge one time and saw someone. She didn't know why she stopped, but something about them got her attention. Maybe it was the fact they leaned over the edge of the stone barriers worryingly far. Maybe it was of their fluffy black hair. Shouko walked over to the person nervously. She tapped their shoulder. She and the person jumped as they turned around. It was... Shouko smiled. It was Shoya. She didn't have the fondest memories of him but....

"*Why were you standing here?*" Shoya signed, her worry crawling up her spine.

"*I was bored.*" Shouko signed back quickly, trying not to look too concerned. " *Are you alright?*" She asked back. Shoya looked down, well, shuffled, and looked back down, bringing up the fact that he was looking down. He did that quite frequently, even back in secondary school. "*It's a nice day. Do you want to go for a walk?*" Shoya suggested, wanting to distract him from whatever thoughts had been occupying his mind before she interrupted. But she wasn't going to take no for an answer.

She noticed how his posture tensed up, just a bit, and knew that her suggestion made him uneasy. So, she tried another approach: "*How about we sit on the bridge and talk?*" She signed with a small grin, pointing at the spot where she wanted them to sit."*Okay.*" He signed. They both jumped onto the stone barriers, carefully and Shouko being quite careful. Shoya sat cross-legged while Shouko laid down and hugged her knees. The sky was still blue and sunny above them, and she took it all in, basking in its warmth. Shoya stared out at the fish, swimming peacefully below them.

There was nothing else interesting or different from what she'd seen every day of her childhood. There is nothing really new about this place. There is nothing new about the world. And yet, there she was. With him. Sitting beside him and looking at a river. In the middle of nowhere. It's like the past never happened, and she was going to treat it like that. He seemed to have changed, so she wanted to have a fresh start with him. She wanted this to be a fresh start.

They were quiet for some time. Shoya seemed to be thinking hard, and she could tell when he began signing again, even though she couldn't hear what he said because he's talking too low, or was he talking at all? "*What are you doing tomorrow?*" He asked. Shouko raised an eyebrow. "*It's Saturday, so nothing really. What about you?*"

He nodded slightly, then shrugged. "*Same thing. I thought maybe we could hang out today?*" He said tentatively. Shouko nodded. "*Sounds good. Where do you usually get lunch?*"

TPP HADESTOWN AU PART 5 PROLOGUE EDITION

seeing as how this has me in a stranglehold, I will continue writing this in bits and pieces as it comes to me until I can get it organized into coherent chapters and on ao3. but for now, enjoy a nice prologue (the thoughts within are inspired by an absolutely feral conversation I had with @smidgen-of-hotboy regarding rita's position as hermes, the narrator)

the story you are about to read is not a new one. it's not a kind one either.

I should know. I've told it thousands of times before.

why keep telling it? what's the point?

well, for me, it's to see the past again. to see if I can pinpoint where it all began to go wrong. when the sappy love story turned into a tragedy. when I began to lose my best friend to his need to fix everything.

and maybe it's to see if the ending will change this time. I know the chances are that it won't. but I've got to try. he never gave up on the world, not even when it all began to turn against him. i'm doing this for him.

I've spent my life surrounded by people who knew loss and knew it deeply. I was lucky that it never got me, that i was never affected by empty space and grief in my life where a person should have been.

he certainly knew loss, my best friend. I was as gentle with him as I could be, but he always said the feeling of missing his brother was like a hole in his stomach that would take big bites out of him to get his attention. that feeling only doubled when he lost his husband to hadestown too.

he tried to get him back. of course he did. but something went wrong. he was never quite the same after that. he'd be up singing at odd hours, staring at the potted dahlias we kept out in front of the bar, watching the stars in the sky like his life depended on it.

and then one morning i woke up, and he was just....

gone.

i guess he'd finally had enough of that empty feeling and went down to find his husband again. and he left me behind. now I know that feeling. that horrible sense of absence. I've felt hollow for months. telling this story again is the only thing that keeps my bleeding heart in place.

but what matters is that i'm here. i tell his story, and sing his song, and keep the memory of his life alive, all in hopes that the ending might be a little different this time.

so once again, this story is not new. it is not kind. it is ugly, painful, and heartbreaking. but most of all, it is a memorial.

to the best friend i lost. to his husband. to the world.

i raise my glass.

you all deserved far better than us gods had to give.

The rain being his tears ,,, that got me thinking.

Lord Zoroark au fused with a reverse hisuian reincarnation au. Emmet bites it in the present, and gets reincarnated into the Pearl Clan. Ingo assumes Kudari is a previous incarnation of Emmet and is in for a hell of sock when Kudari starts to remember his previous life in unova. (this would take place in that one scenario where Ingo is Lord Zoroark for 20 years.)

Oh my god... Ingo silently freaking out as he connects the dots, especially if Emmet died after Ingo got yeeted. The implications! The guilt! The fear! The confusion! Like... how do you get reincarnated back in time? That's not usually how that works? He's pretty sure?
