"Never be Alone"
Started on the sixth of January and planned to be finished on the fourteenth, but landed up not doing that. Somewhere on the sixteenth, I basically said "haha whoops" and pumped out twenty panels. According to Procreate, it took 15 hours and 37 minutes to finish Panels 1-10; 27 hours and 15 minutes on Panels 11-20; and 34 hours and 8 minutes for Panels 21-30.
In total, I have no idea. I just know it took some serious time.
Unlike with She's Gone, I wrote a script. Well, all I wrote was dialogue and some minor actions for Panels 5-23, though lines were changed "in post." Everything else was by the seat of my pants. However, I can say for sure that I was planning on ending it with N being hopeful, but all I had room for was him crying. He cannot catch a break.
(also to those who suspected uzi was still in there, guess you were right all along.)

The One Who Waits: what if its Death?
Death is what waits for everyone. She's inescapable. She's inevitable. It makes sense the Toymaker, a creature of eternal play, would stay away from the embodiment of Ending.
Not to mention rtd is clearly still going with exploring the Doctor's past and Death is tied to at least one version of the Doctor's origin
Between the duo in Can You Hear Me, Time in Flux, and the Toymaker in The Giggle, the show has been inching back towards eternals and godlike creatures.
Wouldn't it be cool if Death was next?

Every now and then, as a long-time Mythology Nerd, I find myself wondering which of the Gemini twins is which. Which twin is Castor; confident, scrappy, crawled out of the afterlife through brotherly love - and which one is Pollux; loyal, strong, persistent enough to gain a favour from Zeus and split his immortality with his brother.
And I don't know if the myth is even relevant to the AU at all, but the fact that they're both Gemini - both being Castor and Pollux, both fiercely loyal and protective, both so dedicated to each other's well-being that they forsake their own - absolutely shatters my little nerd heart constantly. I love them? I'm going to cry? They deserve the world?
Like... They're both little gremlin children and they both care about each other so so much and they'd both make a deal with God for the other in a heartbeat.
And that just??? Means so much to me. And I love this AU so very much.
Anyway this has been the Mythology Nerd Hour, thank you for hosting my TED talk.
Hiccups. Points. YEAH. YES. EXACTLY,,, I LOVE THIS THIS IS A GOOD TAKE,,,

So we have two companions with actual bombs in them (Gale and Karlach), two brainwashed companions with their gods being tyrants (Lae'zel and Shadowheart), two companions with some shemy patrons (Gale and Wyll), two companions with magical wounds (Gale and Shadowheart), two former slaves companions being tracked down by their former masters (Astarion and Karlach), and Dark Urge, who is both a child of a tyrannical god and is his slave, basically a bomb of his own.
And then Jaheira, Halsin and Minsc are...normies. Two old druids and a dude talking to a hamster.
