Born on this day (21 April 1947): happy 76th birthday to streetwalkin’ cheetah with a heartful of napalm / world’s forgotten boy / chairman of the bored / possessor of the world's most sinewy torso, the artist formerly known as James Newell Osterberg Jr – feral godfather of punk, Iggy Pop! I was privileged to witness Pop in full fury onstage many times in the 1980s in Canada. The first time was when he opened for The Pretenders at The Civic Centre in Ottawa in 1987. (They were touring the tepid Get Close album. He was promoting his Bowie-produced comeback Blah-Blah-Blah). It was evident The Pretenders were already a spent creative force, but Pop was a revelation! He was quite “sibilant” while he sang. I was so close to the front that a few times I was sprayed by his spit. It was a punk baptismal! I felt christened!

Made some villains because I need folks that are just straight-up bad to the bone u_u
Oyabun (former yokozuna) with hellish oni powers, sadistic slimy nurse who once worked for Adamu, a theatrically flashy thief with a casino theme, and a truly brutal wild man who has ties to Zoei
