one thing i will forever find funny about the magnus archives is how much of a pretentious academic jon is throughout the entire thing. martin slightly paraphrases a shakespeare quote? unforgivable. don't even get me started on the hungarian mountain man. I know this is supposed to be a touching and sweet moment but I can't help but think about what the fuck cecil was wearing that the "hair and skin" on his chest was exposed and that carlos was able to put his face right into his breastbone
