And now the prey has to deal with the fact that this pred just absolutely terrified them beyond belief, but saved them too, and now THE PRED needs saving

I really like it because there’s a lot of potential for angst as well as hurt/comfort

I can imagine prey starting to realize why they were swallowed and nervously trying to help pred get to safety or to a hospital.

Pred the entire time is apologizing for swallowing them without explanation only for prey to reassure them that while they were scared they understand now.

If it’s the prey we’re talking about then this would be a fantastic pre-vore thing!

Imagine the prey lying on top of the pred’s stomach and whispering to it “Hey are you hungry? Would you like to have me?.” as a bit of a tease to the pred.

Then post-vore the prey says “You sound so happy now” as the stomach softly rumbles around them.

And of course the pred is also very happy. (And maybe even purring a bit)

There’s a lot of different ways this can be interpreted, it can be a broad concept. Either the pred is unaware that they’ve eaten someone. Or they’ve been force-fed prey, either by the prey themselves, or someone else. 

Or the pred is not ‘unwilling’ against someone else, but themselves; trying to do everything they can to resist their cravings even though it’s futile. 

I do like the idea of a pred being forced to feel their body digesting someone against their wishes, to feel the satisfaction of the process and maybe even give into it. Realising either that it’s too late; there’s no point resisting, that they enjoy the satiated feeling more than their empathy for the prey. 

The person who forced the prey into the pred’s belly is now massaging from the outside, encouraging and commending the stomach’s diligence despite the pred’s complaints.

Even if it’s not the pred being physically forced to eat prey, but instead commanded to. To prove their loyalty, to prove themselves to their community, or because someone in a higher position told them to arbitrarily, and the pred is not allowed to refuse.

It’s the appeal of role-reversal, the pred having less power and control over the situation than they normally would. 

I don't see many people talk about how common vore is in their world, like for worldbuilding....soooo what do you prefer usually? vore being a normal thing, vore only being normal for some communities/species/ect, or vore being really rare or really taboo?

Depends! If it's a roleplay with some really juicy vore points I could hit, vore has always been a part of that world, just because people like it and it's possible.

Sometimes if it's a game world, like among us, the realm of vore has infected among us, or, the imposters just have second stomachs and stomach mouths which leads to well.. vore.

However, vore being weird/taboo is also good for g/t stuff in say... Graten of banban? Monster wants to help, knows they'll get in trouble, also knows they'll get in trouble for eating the player.. but doesn't care :D

trying to avoid the awkward flailing of out of control ragdoll limbs that are the last things sticking out of your throat, but you can't swallow too quickly lest they snap back like an elastic band.

I also really dig the idea of swallowing one and then like, its more ragdoll physics so they get their bearings again and all of a sudden it feels like a sturdy person in your middle not a heavy pile of limp noodles.

I HATE when preds consider preys as nothing but food; lack of concern about other people's feelings just drives me mad since I know what such attitude feels like too well... I can't stand intentional cruelty from nether pred nor prey - it just seems so unnatural, even disgusting to me. Especially, it feels horrible in fatal scenarious - I don't avoid fatal, but my skin starts crawling as I read about preds who tease their preys meanly after everything has happened. It's simply immoral! (I only describe my personal attitude, I don't try to insult those who like such things).

Also I'm not into unaware vore; I think the reason for it is the fact that I'd rather be a prey than a pred. This trope makes me feel very vulnerable and unprotected, particularly if a prey is a tiny. After being swallowed by a giant, you don't have good chances to be able to attract their attention which can end up really bad... And the big guy won't even know what they have done! I consider this as double cruelty.

As for my favoutite tropes, I have already described them in one of my previous posts, so I'd recommend you to look for them there.

I always find it kinda funny when a prey falls asleep inside a stomach because of the heat, because me personally I find trying to sleep in hot weather to be one of the most difficult and uncomfortable experiences of my life. Shoutout to prey who can sleep in over 90 degree heat + humidity, they’re the backbones of society

Okay but you’re the exact opposite of how I get in the heat lmao. Put me in a hot dark room with padded everything and I’ll be passed out within like two seconds. As someone who spends a lot of time sprawled out on the floor practically hugging my space heater I feel like I’m immune to heat at this point lol. If I were to get eaten I’d literally fall asleep immediately and never want to leave because heck I’m always so cold. It’s the curse of being built like an actual stick

If you're say, her favorite student, she'd probably let you climb over her horns/antlers and stuff and just kinda try to flick you off them and land you in her mouth like you're a skittle or something lol

I also do think she likes having half size or 3/4 size prey if she feels like being all big and stuffed, but only with people she's comfortable with :)

Both! A big part of vore for me is the physical contact - stimming ftw - and either a snuggly cuddly prey or struggling squirming prey are *chef kiss*. I also like the consensual fearplay where they're both legitimately having fun with the chase.

Uh... Slow-paced, I guess? I've tried to write fast-paced but even "pred grabs prey immediately" still result in AT LEAST a page or two (I'd have to pull up some of my unpublished stuff to check) of background. "vore for the sake of vore" strikes me as PWP (Plot What Plot?) and I just associate that with the sexy kind of vore. Vore is jsut a vehicle for the plot in all my writing; I can't think of a single exception.

What are your Cole thoughts? 👀

Cole my beloved little hungry guy I have. Many thoughts on him. Uhhh spoilers for season 5 I guess? Been out for years but I know I have some followers who are new to the series so I figured I should say something.

Anyways, Cole is absolutely the number one pred of the group for rather obvious reasons lol, and I can see him being the sort of protective pred who’s gut reaction is to eat his friends the second he sees them in real danger. I say real danger because he trusts them to be able to take care of themselves nine times out of ten, but if he realizes they’re in a situation where they need to get out fast, someone is injured, or a villain is after a specific teammate, then he won’t hesitate. His need to protect others rivals that of even Zane, which says a lot. That desire to protect others inside of himself is one of the reasons being turned into a ghost was so incredibly hard on him. Not only could he not feel or touch anything properly anymore, but he also couldn’t protect his teammates in the same way he used to. I can see him trying of course, but they’d phase out of him the moment he lost concentration. On a lighter note, he’d also make the most of his ghostly situation by shrinking down and phasing into his friends whenever he felt like spooking them. Kai, Lloyd, and Jay are the primary victims of his shenanigans since they’d react the strongest. Zane never really minded and Nya was way too hard to catch off guard for it to be funny. 

Eating his friends is definitely Cole’s favorite way to hang out if I’m being honest. He loves the full feeling and nothing says quality bonding time like gaming with a friend or two in your stomach am I right? He’s a sucker for foodplay because of course, and Zane has actually taken to preparing dishes that pair well with each ninja’s taste so it’s always a fun time for everyone involved. Jay always eats a decent amount of the food he’s put in though so you gotta eat him first if you want to have most of your food left. Actually, I think Jay might be Cole’s favorite to eat overall since he’s pretty sweet and also his best friend, but Cole really does love the way all his friends taste so he doesn’t discriminate. Though he could do without Zane’s weird metallic aftertaste tbh. 

One more fun fact about Cole is that his insides glow a bit when he uses his lava arm powers! It’s not incredibly noticeable, but if you look closely you can see a faint orange glow through the walls and his stomach even gets a little warmer, which is super cool in my opinion.
