I made the Pumpkin Pastry Platter!

You can watch me do it over on Youtube but I've got two recipes below: Chocolate Pie Crust and Pumpkin Pudding.

Chocolate Pie Crust

A delightful but slightly different pie crust that tastes a lot like chocolate animal crackers. Perfect for tarts.

Ingredients

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 cup flour

1/4 tsp salt

3/4 cup vegetable shortening

2 1/2 tbsp COLD water

1/2 egg

1/2 tbsp white vinegar

1/8 cup sugar

Directions

Combine cocoa powder, flour and salt.

Cut in the vegetable shortening.

Add sugar.

Mix water, egg and vinegar together.

Combine your wets and your dries.

Roll out between parchment paper.

Place in tin/pie plate.

If blind baking, bake at 425F with weights. Time will vary, 20-25 min generally works.

Pumpkin Pudding

A delightful pudding perfect for All Saints Wake.

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup flour

1 egg yolk

1 cup pumpkin

1 cup half and half

Directions

Whisk together your sugar, flour and salt in a pot.

Add 1/2-2/3 of your half and half and all the pumpkin then whisk.

Cook over medium to high heat, whisking constantly.

Mix the remaining half and half and the egg yolk together.

Add a little of the hot pumpkin mix to the egg, stirring constantly to temper then pour back into the pot.

Bring back to hot.

Strain.

Pour into cups or ramekins.

Chill at least a few hours, if not overnight.

I'm working on another scrungly little website, btw! I will probably link here when I feel like it looks more Done and less like I made it when I was in 6th grade on the sly 😅🥲 I still have no defined theme, but I have several good, if rather vague, ideas.

Also btw Animal Crossing Pocket Camp has me by the throat. It's too cute to stop playing. And since I don't have a Switch and/or time to invest in setting up an entire Island, a cute little phone game is what I'm doing!

While im thinking about women characters being assigned their fandom roles the way the pikmin fandom outside of tumblr treats brittany is fucking horrible. Whats wrong with you people its a children's videogame character.

Simply said, I was born in the 2000s, I don’t think I’ve ever heard X files ever mentioned besides in passing.

When I replied saying I was offline as a kiddo I truly meant it, ya girl only had books, the outdoors, and art as things to do. I think X Files is some supernatural/alien type thing right? That’s why it’s “X Files” because it’s what would be in conspiracy theory type censored government documents???

With the “check back for bites” thing, like are the aliens like zombies?

And what it COINED THE PHRASE SHIPPING? That’s so rad I absolutely have to read the history of that, that’s so incredibly neat my dude holy hell
