HeliosR - Sing in the darkness - Chapter 3 - Part 2
Translation of Sing in the darkness from ‘Helios Rising Heroes’, a new side arc alongside the current main story arc Like the dawning light.
Sage: I, don’t know anything…I don’t remember anything…
Sage: Sensei’s final moments…? I haven’t seen anything like that! What is everyone going on about?
Sage: Sensei is…. there’s no way Sensei died!
Nico: Sage, calm down
Victor: Hmm…
Jude: Oi, still wanna go at it or what?
Nova: Gah, wait wait! Let’s all calm down for just a second!?
Victor: It’s alright, Nova. Obviously I won’t ask any further than this.
Victor: Let us give them some time and come back later.
Nova: Phew….
Victor: My apologies for escalating the situation. Please do take the rest you need, Sage
Nova: Please excuse uuus~....
Jude: I’ll send ‘em the other way if they show their faces again
Bianchi: Sei-chan, are you okay?
Bianchi: It’s a relief to see that you woke up, but he was right about taking the rest you need. Should we also take our leave for the time being?
Sage: ……..
Nico: Want us to stay here?
Sage: Pheeeeew~~~~...
Bianchi: Oh?

Sage: Ahaha….. It did tire me out quite a bit since I’m not used to such things…
Nico: You okay?
Sage: Yeah. Thanks, Nico…. Bianchi-san and Jude-kun too…
Sage: I heard the professors talk while I was asleep either. Woke up once I heard about that psychological world thing? And then everything came back to me…
Sage: I did think it strangely felt like a realistic dream, so hearing it was actually that…. Everyone, I’m sorry for making you all worry.
Bianchi: Obviously we’d be worried about you. So don’t go making such a face now
Bianchi: More importantly… I’m curious about what you meant with the “truth”
Sage: …Yeah. I want to explain it properly to everyone.
Nico: Do you remember, Sage?
Sage: …. Yes….
Sage: Sensei’s an important person for everyone here, right? That’s why what happened to him… His final moments, I want you guys to properly know the truth about it all.
Nico, Bianchi & Jude: …..

Chapter 38:
Nova: Sorry~, Licht-kun. You don’t have to answer any of this right now, so just listen to what we say, alright?
Nova: The first Substance was probably one you were aware of. It’s a Substance capable of manipulating dreams, mainly nightmares.
Nova: By using this ability, it was possible to make one’s target see something like a daydream.
Nova: …..But we never expected that this power could be used on all the people of New Million.
Victor: The fact that the sun never rose and it remained constantly bathed in night was some kind of collective hallucination….
Victor: Moreover, I was very surprised to learn that a young child like you had mastered such a power.
Nova: There’s a high possibility that Sirius had something to do with that as well. Now that you’ve woken up, please stay with us a while longer so we can continue tests.
Licht: …..And the second Substance was?
Nova: Ah….. yeah there was that, but…..
Victor: A substance that causes psychic disorders—
Licht: Eh…….
Victor: So you really were left in the dark?
Victor: I’d heard you were called the “Savior” in Thonis. Reason being that you possessed extraordinary powers as a spiritual medium…
Victor: However, it was all caused by Substance.
Nova: Licht-kun didn’t originally have that kind of power…..
Licht: ………..
Victor: It really means that everything….was by Sirius’ orchestration.
Nova: Don’t lose heart, Licht-kun—
Licht: No… I don’t really think anything of it now.
Nova: …………
Licht: ….How are they?
Licht: What happened to Thonis?
Victor: Regarding that, they’ve faced near complete dissolution.
Licht: ………..
Victor: Everyone involved in the Brick River Project was taken in by the police.
Victor: Other stragglers were protected in shelters or fled outside the city…..
Victor: Apparently, that area of Lost Garden is now completely deserted.
Nova: This incident seems to have woken up most of them.
Nova: As expected, it will take some time for them to adapt to Substance and living on the surface, when they’ve been conditioned to be wary of it for so long.
Nova: The majority of them seem to have realized the deal on prophecies and saviors was a hoax……
Licht: I see…..
Licht: Hahah… they were idiots after all. For this to have ended so abruptly.
Licht: 5 decades of stubborn beliefs, reduced to nothing overnight…..
Licht: Ahahaha–! It’s a shame I couldn’t see the despair on those idiots’ faces!
Nova: ………..
Victor: What do you plan to do from now on, Licht?
Licht: …..?
Victor: You have lost your power, Thonis has dissolved, and you have returned to being just a child.
Victor: Emerging from the depths of the sea to bathe in sunlight….you still have a long life ahead of you.
Victor: Well, given the circumstances, I don’t think things will be that simple, but….
Victor: It would be a good idea to carefully consider what you want to do from now on while you’re here.
Licht: From now on….what I want to do….?
Nova: We at Helios will provide you as much support as we can.
Licht: ……

Hello! Thank you for writing the "someone flirting with their s/o" headcanons. It was wonderful. May I request the same prompt again but for the north sector + Sirius?
Gast Adler:
Gast doesn’t like it but he doesn’t let his imagination get the best of him. He knew better than to think you’d just up and leave him, and he wasn’t exactly paranoid about that. He still hated seeing someone eye you up so obviously and disrespect your boundaries, getting closer as you clearly tried to exit the conversation. He might not be the type of punk he once was but he doesn’t mind summoning up some intimidation tactics if it means you’ll be left in peace.
Marion Blythe:
Marion will deny it until his last breath but he’s protective over you, and a bit insecure especially in the beginning of the relationship. While he acts like he’s the best thing since sliced bread and is constantly reassured that you share the sentiment, there’s a worry that ticks away at the back of his mind that you might suddenly decide he’s too much to deal with. Seeing someone get too close to you triggered his anger and he had to fight not to blow up on the other person, trying to approach the situation maturely and insert himself into the conversation so he could glare at the other person until they left.
Ren Kisaragi:
Ren is only bothered because he sees you’re bothered. He sensed your discomfort but quietly watched to see if you were going to make a move first, waiting until your eyes desperately met his before interjecting. He doesn’t care about being seen as a rude person (despite the fact he should, for the sake of his hero reputation) and he’d pull you away from them without offering an explanation. You thank him for his good deed but he tells you that it was nothing, and that as your boyfriend he should be looking out for you like that.
Sirius:
Sirius isn’t bothered because he thinks you might forget about him and run away with another man, no, he sees this more as disrespect. You’re not at fault for simply existing as a beautiful being, he could never blame it on you, but the person flirting would be in for a rude awakening. His punishments are cruel and, while not fatal, will leave the person flirting with you thinking twice about ever speaking to you again.
Victor Valentine:
Victor doesn’t notice. It’s not hard to see why Victor doesn’t notice considering he hadn’t thought you were flirting with him the many months, and you were attempting to be as obvious as possible, he simply doesn’t have an eye for this thing. He doesn’t necessarily feel jealous when you confide in him about it either, asking if you simply want his attention (as he did get caught up in his work and might unintentionally neglect your emotional needs) or if you wanted him to speak with the person so they’d leave you alone.

Bianchi: Nico-chan! What’s the situation like!?
Nico: They’re going on how they want an explanation for what happened at Brick River Bridge
Jude: And how exactly do they want us to deal with this?
Bianchi: Us heroes showing up will surely stoke the flames even further….
Jude: Neither can we use our power against civilians. Some punches would shut ‘em right up though
Bianchi: Stop with that even if you’re joking
Nico: Looks like the cops showed up too
Bianchi: Then perhaps it’s best we leave this up to them---

Victor: Do you feel any discomfort in your body?
