Hush EA Spoilers.

WOAAHHH OKAY I AM GENUINELY TWEAKING WTF WAS THAT??? /POS

OKAY. okay. a LOT to unpack here holy shit

first off, loving the soft Hush and Doc interactions at the beginning, the babygirl is learning! i love them ahsgajdh and Hush asking Doc to hold his hand :(((

VEGAS REFORMING. oh. wow.

it sounds like Hush only pulled together the parts of Vega from before the Cacophony ended. he has a better(?) view of humans, and he doesnt seem so vindictive of them as of yet

one thing that caught my attention is that Vega said "I am the first-formed of Gravity." he's one of the first demons. i even theorized as much in my last tinfoil hat post (therefore it is my legal right to say "HAH! called it!") that makes the Sovereign's cruelness towards demons even more sad, cuz he knew what they were like before they were evil n shit

another thing that Vega said was that he was the "Anacrusis of his (D'Deridahn's) Phrase." (this is referring to when he's repeating his whole name). again, we already know that "anacrusis" means "one or more unstressed syllables at the beginning of a verse."

i said in an earlier theory that the term "Anacruses" might be a fancy title for old demons. Vega said he's the "Anacrusis of [D'Deridahn's] Phrase." so, i think in some aspects, i was right, but "Anacruses" is more specific: it refers to the first demon created by a Sovereign; the "Phrase" in question being the line of demons created by that Sovereign, and the Anacrusis of that phrase being the first demon. do you see where im going with this?

speaking of lines, Vega said "When you made the Well. When you formed the line."

now, the obvious jump we can make with this is that Hush is the one who created the Elision Well in Aria. we already know from previous audios that Hush was someone else before he was Hush. he maintains that he was created (recently) by the Sovereigns, but Vega calling him "Egregore of the Sovereigns" clearly says that Hush indeed was someone else beforehand

whats interesting is that Vega doesnt say that Hush (or Egregore) is a Sovereign; he says "of the Sovereigns," which is funny because Egregore sounds like a very Sovereign-esque name, not a star's name like a demon's. looks like Egregore is a creation of the Sovereigns too, but what is he? is he the same as Hush, the silence in the spellsong? or is he something completely different, like a lesser Sovereign, or the first demon? could the naming conventions have been different back then? or maybe, its the opposite direction, with Egregore being an angel-type character?

and what is the "line" that Vega refers to? i assume that it has to do with the Well, considering that he says, "When you made the Well. When you formed the line." maybe its the line of yet-to-be-formed demons, lying in wait just beyond perceptibility?? we dont know why demons have kept forming in the Well after the Sovereigns were chained to Death, Avior said as much im sure; and granted, we dont even know how or why the Well was formed in the first place, but we do now know that Hush/Egregore was responsible for it

wrapping this up with YIPPEE THEYRE GONNA GO FIND WARDEN!! THEYRE GONNA GO LOOK FOR MY BABYGIRL!!!! i love Warden sm, they have a special place in my heart augh. cant wait for Hush to show up with their presumed dead situationship and be like "can you fix him 🥺🥺🥺" and for Warden to be like "WHAT THE FUCK??!" need to see them get angry on god frfr

in conclusion, Hush reforms Vega, Vega drops some Hush lore while also being an amnesiac, and sends all the theorizers of the fandom into a tail-spin trying to figure the meaning of the cryptic titles he keeps spitting out. uhhh damn thats crazy. anyways, thank you for coming to my ted talk, and remember: its just a theory (a game theory–)

Planned to reread the books for a while now. Well, in the end I listened to the audio version of the Lighting thief.

I made a list of things that were either not mentioned, or slightly different from the TV series (loved the series and that's not with the idea to say they weren't okay).

No real spoilers as it's all about the Lightning thief, just a bunch of facts here.

-The gods being on top of Empire State building is explained (gods move) as well as their existence.

-Camp Half-Blood looks like a strawberry farm to normal people (it'll forever pain me how much I'd hate that place. I hate strawberries with passion.)

-Demigods don't use technology because it attracts monsters (Annabeth has a phone, tho).

-Percy (and the other demigods) understood Ancient Greek. And they are all dyslexic and with ADHD.

-The beads on the campers' necklaces mark the years they've spent on camp.

-When Percy was claimed, everyone knelt. Even the Ares kids.

-Sally never told Percy that he's a demigod. He figured out the whole thing and about the gods in camp.

-Percy and Sally were announced missing and there were articles in newspapers about them.

-Gabe is much more abusive in the books. It's heavily hinted in the end that Sally used Medusa's head against him. She sells him as a statue. Sally married him because he smelled so much of human that he covered Percy's scent from monsters.

-Percy hid the fact he hoped he can save Sally from everyone. He didn't know she's not dead. But he hoped to save her from the Underworld nevertheless.

-The demigods are not only by the Olympian gods. There are also minor gods that have children.

-Different demigods have distinctive traits from their parents. (Hermes kids all look like troublemakers, Athena kids have gray eyes, Dionysus kids look like him.)

-Percy and Annabeth didn't get along well because of Athena and Poseidon who also don't.

-Luke wasn't as soft and nice. (In chapter 7 Percy says "I thought he was gonna gut me", after he pulls a knife out of his pocket..)

-Quests were stopped because of a quest gone wrong. That's where Luke got his scar.

-Chiron most likely knew whose son Percy is all along.

-Percy didn't choose anyone for the quest, Annabeth volunteered and Grover was assigned to go with Percy by Dionysus.

-The knife Annabeth threw at Luke was a gift from him.

-Annabeth was in love with Luke.

-Hill Half-Blood is called so because of Thalia (where the pine tree is).

-Percy is the one who saw the Fates, even before everything started.

-Mr. D and Chiron weren't the only adults at Camp. Argus, a man with 100 eyes, was there as Camp security.

-Chiron gives the sword to Percy only when they leave for the quest. It's called Riptide.

-Demigods use ambrosia and nectar to heal.

-Annabeth was interested in architecture and wanted to become an architect (she also carried an architecture book) so that's why she knew so much about the arch they went to. They didn't go because it was Athena's sanctuary. She wanted to see it.

-Percy doesn't fall in Mississippi. He jumps.

-They didn't know most things on the quest. Medusa, Lotus casino, etc.

-Ares's eyes are literal flames.

-Annabeth didn't want to go with Percy in the tunnel of love because someone could see her.

-Percy saw Thalia in a dream.

-The zebra they released in Las Vegas spoke to Percy.

-They never missed the deadline.

-Grover eats everything. Coke cans. Cards. And he bleats. He can also "smell" thoughts.

-Dionysus and Hades aren't as fun. Hades is intimidating. Dionysus, too, at times.

-Grover told Charon that the three of them drowned in a bathtub. He also told Medusa earlier they were orphans from a circus.

-Despite the danger, Percy, Annabeth and Grover take a flight (he didn't use the shoes because of that but the fight with Ares is not at Montauk, it's Santa Monica) so they can arrive in time. It scared Percy more than any monster.

Rounding out our elementals with air, here’s Lasko! First of all I want everyone to know that my browser does not believe “Lasko” is spelled right, even when capitalized, and it has suggested Laski, Lasso, and the ever-hilarious Lasky as proper spellings. Admittedly I listen to Lasko the least of the three, but he’s still a special boi who gets a gold star in my heart. These two quotes are from Nervous Air Elemental Confesses His Feelings For You and the preview for his BA audio.

By this point I think you probably know what you’ll find below the cut: flowers and rambling! There’s also some extra goodies down there this time, plus a bit about next sets and such in this series.

These four flowers:

Peony: honor, love at first sight, beauty in all forms, bashfulness

Dandelion: overcoming hardship

Queen Anne’s Lace: haven, sanctuary, complexity, delicateness

Heather: solitude, beauty, admiration, protection

I listened to a not-mine playlist while doing this one, so if you’re interested you can find that playlist here. It’s a good one! As someone who loves Ricky Montgomery the fact that so many of his songs were included just fits my fancy, especially since I’ve always seen his music as a very Lasko-esque vibe :-)

Let’s talk flowers! First up for rambles is Queen Anne’s Lace. I grew up in a place where you could see a lot of QAL growing along the roadsides, bordering the fields (woot woot for rural areas and the abundance of farmland). This is the only flower I decided on before doing any research into its meaning, and only a little bit because I already knew about what it meant. Anyway, this paragraph is getting out of hand because I just want to recommend My Queen Anne’s Lace Bouquet by SincerelyWhistler on Ao3 for anyone who hasn’t read it yet.

Peony for the obviousness of bashfulness but also for Lasko’s confession, where he mentions that “I’ve had a crush on you for as long as I’ve known you, literally since the first time I met you, t-t-that first time you came into my office”, hence love at first sight. Dandelion with overcoming hardship for Lasko overcoming managing to confess and doing things even when they make him anxious or nervous, for FL’s difficulty with their first semester at D.A.M.N., and for their shared experiences with the humanborn experience. Heather for finding safety in someone you love.

And now an admission: I had literally never listened to Lasko’s BA before I needed to find quotes for this set... I listened to a part of the Lasko/FL/Gavin BA but that was it? I’m not really sure why because actually, it was nice, though to be fair I really only listened to the beginning (which is in the preview on YouTube). But! The quote I used from that one jumped out at me. Maybe I’ll actually listen to the whole thing at some point.

If you read this far, thanks for reading! I actually want to ask if anyone has any requests for the next set? I’m nearly out of characters I’ve planned anything for. I’d also appreciate quotes if you have a request since there’s always a chance I haven’t really listened to much of any specific character.

I will say right now that I don’t plan on doing a set for Vega-influenced Ivan at all -- I’ve never listened to Sadism’s Hold, and I don’t plan on it. I’m on the fence about Regulus, so if I do that one it’ll be when there are more videos (both to pick quotes from and determine how I feel about the character). Characters like Geordi and Guy who don’t have many videos right now I will consider but it’ll depend on how I feel about the number of quotes I can get out of a lower pool of videos (I might want to wait until they have more).

So far I’ve got a pool of quotes for Vincent, though if anyone wants a specific quote from Vincent I’d also love to hear it. Be assured also that Asher will be coming to finish off our wolf boi trio, I just have to go listen to his playlist for quotes (once again, any specific ones would be welcome). I also... well.

I had planned on doing a set for Caelum. I picked flowers and hand poses a while ago, and I was excited because it would really make the D.A.M.N. set complete. However, up until now, I’ve only done romantic interests with these sets. I had never even considered that the set might be interpreted in any way other than that platonic/familial context of the relationship FL and Caelum have, and so wasn’t concerned about that. But with the recent discourse, I’m worried about anyone interpreting it that way. Should I still do it? I love Caelum, he’s my buttercup and I was excited to do his set :-( Maybe if I put explicitly that I do not want my art to be interpreted in any way other than platonic and familial and to please not interact if you’re going to make it anything else? Let me know what you guys think.

Can I ask for a good way to tune samples in vegas? I finally got it a few days ago and honestly just using pitch shift is funny and very characteristic, but is there a good way to get a sample to conform to a single note? Found you from your no scrubs ytpmv

i switch between 2 methods for tuning samples depending on what i need, that being semi-automatically in Melodyne & manually with the pitch shift effect in Vegas itself.

in Melodyne, as long as the sample is clean enough, you can generally tune anything pretty flat by changing the algorithm to Melodic, clicking the "Correct Pitch Macro" and setting all values to 100%, then going to the "Note" settings on the right-hand side of the program and setting "Pitch Modulation" to 0%.

keep in mind when i mean a "clean" sample, i mean like, no more than a single voice or instrument at the same time. sometimes, you can do the same method with one of the Polyphonic algorithms and get good results for more-than-one samples, but results vary wildly

the other method is just manually in Vegas itself. there's nothing magic about this one, just open up a "Pitch Shift" effect on the sample you want to tune, grab some reference audio (perhaps an already-tuned tone such as a square or sine wave) and slowly drag your cursor across the Cents adjustment slider until it sounds right. i've found that oftentimes it helps to just jump to 25 or 50 cents in both positive & negative directions and go from there.

as you get better, you can sort of learn to intuit this over time. this can also help in case you want to have a sample go outside of vegas' -24 to +24 pitch shift range.

charlie is a cloud god and his son mariel is a little water dude abd also the prince . charlies eye is also Fucked up(cause of stupid grandpa lore LMDAOOO) and its so like. dense i guess(????) that half of his body is slowly disintegrating. he gets help from A Doctor but doesnt actually pay attention cause of the disintegration so he just gets his medicine and never takes it. after a while of not taking the medicine he doesnt notice anything wrong until He starts Rapidly Disintegrating

okay hes not Rapidly rapidly disintegrating hes just getting fucjed up faster so he calls a cool company over to give him a body guard and his bodyguard is a guy named sirius vega (who is. importabt later LMFAOOO)

when he still has a bit of him left sirius (<- guy for later) literally has to give him like. 40 million stardust (<- important later) pills a day just so that he could stay conscious (<- ALSO IMPORTANT LATER)

when he gets rapidly disintegrated the only surviving parts arw the side of his body with the eye so he just lost his left brain left arm most of his heart his leg its like that one tiktok audio where its like "his leg got turned inside out" LMFOAOAO the reason he isnt dead is because of the jackload of stardust (<- still important) he had to take

sirius starts having to watcg mariel and keep charlie in check . problem is that sirius also has basic (not-human) needs and sleeps as well so whenever he sleeps charlie goes like "oh its time to get silly" and then starts grabbing people from Down Below (the planet below has other kinds of people) for experiments and also killing them 😭

mariel hears all this shit and as a little like. 14 year old (damn i never said his age) he goes in to investigate (when charlies not there) . when he sees all the deadbodies and Very Sad People hes like "NAHHHH" and runs out the room .

charlie is about to enter the room when that happens so hes just like "damn bro 🤣 wanna help" and mariels like "DAD WHAT THE FUCK" and charlies like "🤣🤣🤣🤣"

their house castle thing is coincidentally on the Edge of the Highest level of cloud so mariel just runs out the house (sirius still sleeping like a boat engine LNFOJAOA) and Jumps off and charlie watches like "damn ☹️"

the next day while charlies getting in a argument wirh sirius "WHERE THE FUCK IS HE" "BRO HE JUMPED OFF" "HE WHAT???" mariels on The Planet.

on the planet theres 2 other types of dudes the fire and the plant dudes (long story short he doesnt actually know much about these guys other than whatever he got in school and the last thing he remembers is The torture room so he doesnt think about it). mariels about to make the third kind on Complete accident

LONG LONG LONG story short stardust gives life to people theres cool star guys that live in space that dont actually kill people by heat and stardust is like dandruff to them so it just gets Everywhere and everyone has Some stardust in them

EXTRA LONG STORY SHORT water people (from the clouds) are made from fish. how are the fish made? idk 😭 when water people evaporate (grow up) the fish slowly die and they turn into cloud people . since mariel is Not in the clouds his ass is NOT gonna evaporate for a while

AANNNYYYWAAAYYYYSSS jesus christ okay so mariel starts crying over the river when he sees that he cant live the rest of his life as a little fish guy and fish have started gathering around him and when he cries theres Little Bits of his Stardust in the tears so when they hit the water the fish (that are already alive) come alive as well (cause now. the water is alive(???))

the fish are like "what the fuck is rhis what happened" and mariels like "AHHHHHH AHHHHHHH AHHHHHH" cause hes like 14 and all tjat Other Stuff

the fish cant go back into the water and because theyre all like. 2% mariel (the stardust) (like skim milk!) they vaguely understand the world around them . and considering The World Around Them for 100% of mariels life was living in a little castle with a king in a monarchy thats what the water people start making with mariel as their leader

fastforward like 5 years the waterpeople kingdom shit were doing. alright. not horrible. they started making their own water people and stuff very fun. mariel didnt really do much (cause he didnt need to do anything) and nobody actually attacked each other cause most the fish beef was with the fish personally and not the water people themselves

what mariel Doesnt know is that his dad was actively trying to find his ass in the last 5 years . when he got in that argument with sirius (sirius got forced to stay in the castle with him) (+ felt like he had to so that charlie doesnt kill anyone else) sirius was like "TELL HIM YOU'RE SORRY FOR SHOWING HIM DEAD PEOPLE OR SOMETHING??? WHAT THE FUCK????" and charlie was like "oh but i have to find him to do that" and sirius was like "ohhh my god GO FIND HIM THEN"

his dad Finally found him with a cool ass telescope and was like "hmmmm yes. maybe when i say sorry i can also tell him to come home"

charlie doesnt actually Know what hes apologizing for but he gets sirius to go sneak in there and give a envelope to some guy that passed it over to mariel and mariel was like ".Well."

envelope basically said (in shit handwriting) "SON PLEASE MEET ME I AM SORRY THERE IS A COOL HILL NEAR YOUR KINGDOM PLEASE GO THERE I WILL SAY SORRY. NOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER PEOPLE THOUGH THEY SCARE ME"

charlie actually was gonna apologize and he even made a Cool Lightning Bolt to do it

sirius was still on the planet so he kind of just. watched from a distance as mariel went over to this hill

charlie wanted to be Dramatique with that shit so he was gonna shoot a lightning bolt down before he came down

problem is 1. shooting lightning is hard 2. he only has 1 (VERY BLURRY) eye to see out of 3. hes fuckinf stupid

so. mariel gets there. and charlie Shoots the lightning bolt Right At His Arm and Demolishes it Entirely

sirius is obviouslt panickinf now cause hes like ">,9!,]@0?@0" got out his hiding spot to try and help and mariel is just laying there like the familg guy death pose

sirius gets over to his dead body and is like "😭" (<- literallt he starts crying)

SIRIUS LORE SPEEDRUN TO EXPLAIN WHY HIM CRYINF IS IMPORTANR

1. sirius is the doctor from before thats how he knew how to help-ish with the meds

2. he got kicked off the doctor team for wanting to Actually Help Peoplw

3. he was a Very Good Doctor so people actually requested for him before he got fired

4. he got shot in the head by said doctor team but still lived + multitude of other injuries

5. he lived because Hes not actually fully cloud

- His ass is actually a star guy covered in cloud skin. Long long long story short this star person was beefing with some other star person and lost So Fucking Bad that they defied the laws of. space i guess and fell onto the planet below. as soon as the star person fell they got attacked and i guess some cloud guy had a Very sharp spear so it cut a small piece of the star off

- that small piece of star is sirius, whos stardust slowly brought the cloud ground (cause they live on clouds. cause theyre cloud people) alive and wrapped himself in it

- the very large piece of star Still doesnt know what happened

- random fact but stars in space have 1 set form but stars in any place with gravity can get as big or small as they want . the star person 100% couldve killed everyone on the cloud land they just Didnt Know where it was or what they were doing

-said star person lives under the top layer of cloud and (yeah it filters in light and rain LMFAOO) helped mariel get on the planet withoit him dying

6. also sirius is trans the reason charlie didnt properly recognize him is cause doctor him was pre transition

7. whenever sirius feels Very Lots of Emotion he starts "bleeding" (literal liquid star starts leaking) from every cut in his body + his eyes

when mariel got hit with lightning it also fucked up BOTH his eyes (made them the same thing his dad has)

since starDUST brings people to life and sirius is a Literal Star Wrapped in a Cloud Coat (not like he knows that) when he cried he cried Over tje body and his liquid star stuff brought mariel straight back to life but it also fucked him up heavily

long story short sirius runs away from the castle Properly, mariel rips his cloud eyes out ans abandons his water dudes out of panic + blindness and charlie is now fixated on getting his son back

Okay.. first off, this is just my opinion on Redacted drama. If you're not interested or don’t wanna hear it, that's perfect fine, keep scrolling and I hope you have a wonderful day/night

That being said...

Also, if you are going to read this, there’s more information in the replies that is important. Thank you @/dontpreceiveeve for adding that! :)

I don’t personally have Redacted’s patreon because bitches be broke. And I don’t really involve myself in drama that has nothing to do with me and I only have one side of the story. But I’m home sick today and bored out of my mind while I wait for some inspo for fics.

For those who don’t know, I recommend trying to find out more information through other blogs, there’s people talking about it. It just popped up on my home screen for tumblr today so what can i say.

But essentially there’s a patreon exclusive video that has to do with Ivan and his listener where consent isn’t really present (?). So it’s obviously raising a lot of controversy about it.

I’m not trying to downplay how important and sensitive issue sexual assault/non con intimate acts are. I’m really not. It’s an ongoing issue and a disgusting one done by the aggressors at that. If you or anyone you know has experienced that I’m so so sorry that happened to you.

But considering the audio in question is an nsfw one, preferences have to be taken into consideration. If Erik didn’t post any warnings for the audio (I don’t know if he did or not.) then that is certainly on him. There should be warnings for everything that may contain triggering topics because trauma is a horrid thing to have to relive through.

But this is also Ivan we’re talking about. Post-Vega inference, we know consent isn’t that important to him. He kidnapped one of his listeners after all.

And some people are into that whole non-con scene for whatever reasons. it could be their way of coping with whatever happened to them, or just a kink of theirs. Kinkshaming is a pretty shitty thing to do because it disregards preferences and can make them feel guilty for something that can be out of their control. Some people might be into the more softer side of things, while others are into the more hard side of things. Both are okay.

As for the whole “hiding behind a paywall and profiting off sexual assault”, that paywall also acts as a deterrent. He can’t control if minors access his content on Youtube, but there is some more distance between minors and patreon content, which is why the more graphic content is posted there. I don’t think it’s all about profiting off sexual assault as much as trying to cater to an often ignored audience while making sure it’s harder for minors to access content that could lead to Erik unintentionally getting in legal trouble.

Like I said, this is just my two cents and I don’t have the whole story. If someone wants to fill me in, feel free and if I’m wrong I’ll gladly take this down. I just think that people jumping to quick assumptions without considering everything can be damaging. I know I might be jumping to assumptions, but I’m very much on “innocent until proven guilty” sides of things. A lot of ASMRtists are removing their content because of accusations like these. Some of them have been proven true, and for those it has been I’m glad their content is gone and they aren’t causing more harm to people. But for when it’s false I feel bad for them.

I dislike the editing (and some of the camera work) of Vegas and Pete's first sex scene. (Hell, I dislike the audio, too.) It's like they didn't trust the actors enough to linger on their performance for more than .2 seconds. I just wanted them to let some moments breathe; let a shot go for a little bit and connect with the actors. So many shots from so many angles but you don't have to show every single one in a flash.

I've still got a few episodes to go so I hope it gets better. It just jumped out to me how differently they shoot Kinn and Porsche's sex scenes, or even kiss scenes. Their scenes love a lingering shot.

Hmm. I'm going to cap it there for now & reserve any more thoughts for when I finish the series.

Hi, it's me again! I really like how you edited Molluck's back, and if you really have the intention to make a game about him, I'm really curious! Usually games made purely out of passion and fun are the best ones! I'm glad to hear if you liked my edit! I gotta say that I’m surprised how well it turned out, right skin tone and the lighting seems to match too. Since it seemed to catch some attention of others too, I would or should share some ‘behind the scenes stuff’:

This is the screenshot I used to edit Soulstorm Molluck’s head to New ‘n’ Tasty Molluck model’s body. The rest was just messing around with colours to get the skin tone changed/right. Like this:

Also a note: If you didn’t know, Soulstorm Molluck model is based on the New ‘n’ Tasty model, which helped doing this edit. (I also really had no idea that this edit would be this big thing... That’s why I actually had no intention to share it at first.)

I edit all my photos and drawings with my good ol’ Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. It’s 20 years old this year! I also always refine all the sceenshots I take from these cutscenes even I have the best quality of them available straight from the game files. I kinda always jump to another thing while talking but those cutscenes have audio layers left so you can easily remove speech and have all ambience left for example. Of course, you gotta have a software for that, like Sony Vegas Pro. Just saying, if anyone has wondered how I did that dub too but also something useful to know.

Yes, I'm trying my best to get my Molluck game done. I have only made him as a movable character and some map textures but also some Slig NPC stuff so far. I sadly can’t add a video to this answer but I’ll share some video footage about my Molluck game here after I get some proper maps done. But here’s a little edited screenshot:

I haven’t added those Slig NPCs yet but I just wanted to show that sprite, for the first time actually. I’m glad to hear if my game interests you! I also bet that the way game is made reflects to the game itself.

I’m doing this from scratch but I have a tutorial with me. I’m a beginner with programming and this is my first own game. All I can say about the plot without spoiling it is that the game takes place in RuptureFarms. I’m currently planning Molluck’s office and taking reference from Soulstorm since all Gluk offices seem similar. But I also gotta redo those map textures.

Yay, good job! I have heard that people find that level hard and annoying. Maybe I have been lucky or something since I don’t find it that hard and I have played the 1.0 version too. But we are different gamers too. One level can be easy for another while difficult for another.

New Vegas New Problems Session 1

The Pickles Caravan has made it’s quiet return to the Mojave Wasteland. Wanda ‘Pickles’ Tanner has heard about the Mojave heating up and wants tp head back into the area to check on things and jump on opportunities. Along with her Brahmin, Moo-Lasses and her caravan guards new and old she has left the Mojave Pass Outpost at a somewhat hurried pace. This rush was due to her newest caravan guard Vesper, or more accurately Vesper’s robot Chao-Chao. Vesper along with his tame Nightstalker Loretta and Mr. Handy Unit Chao-Chao arrived about a week ago and initially was a welcome arrival as they sold a small collection of Holotapes that contained classic comedic cartoons. The supply sergeant happily picked up such items in the hopes of improving post morale. It was only afterwards that the occupants of the Outpost found that Chao-Chao had downloaded the files into his internal memory. Then began playing audio clips at a constant and regular frequency quickly wearing out the patience of everyone at the Outpost. Wanda despite already panning on hiring Vesper was able to use some fast talk to charm the ‘locals’ into paying her a bonus to get Chao-Chao out of the Outpost before the day was out. Along with her long-standing guards Charlie ‘Banned’ Slim and Roy Allen the Caravan left early on March 3rd 2280 heading along the long 15 towards Primm.

While listening to the generally pleasant music on New Vegas Radio their travel was interrupted when a shot rang out as Charlie was hit in the arm while they were passing the old California Highway Patrol Station. The raiders were arranged on the roof to harass passing travelers. For Charlie’s part in the fight he was likely more irritated at the damage to his Desert Ranger duster that he won in a poker game back when he was actively serving as a trooper in the NCR than the relatively minor wounds he received from the Raiders shoddy weapons. Charlie enjoyed taking advantage of the semi-automatic burst fire of his laser pistol to rapidly pepper the raiders as he took cover behind one of the ruined patrol cars.

Roy Allen relied on his sniper training to carefully target the raiders aiming for repeated Headshot in favor of taking cover.

Wanda was not the most comfortable in combat but also took cover behind a patrol car and began taking potshots at the raiders with her trusty 10mm Pistol, leaving behind her Brahmin in the road as most raiders wouldn’t shoot at a Brahmin unless it was fleeing.

Vesper took charge in a more dramatic fashion using the bed of a ruined dump truck to run and jump their way gracefully onto the rooftop to attack the raiders with their Machete.

Chao-Chao also used the increased elevation that the truck provided to gain a better angle to take potshots at the raiders as the moved to follow Vesper into melee combat.

The raiders rapidly fell to the caravan though the leader of their gang after losing an arm to repeated attacks by both Vesper’s Machete and Wanda’s 10mm decided to detonate a grenade on their person rather than surrender damaging Vesper and Chao-Chao. The caravan decided to patch themselves up using Chao-Chao’s first-aid programming and a Doctors bag from Wanda. While Roy attempted to enter the front entrance of the Patrol Station and only due to his quick reaction avoided being harmed by a grenade trap though not quick enough to prevent the trap from going off. After the smoke cleared it became obvious that the front entrance had been modified by the raiders to be a trapped kill-box. Shortly afterward Vesper found the back door and forced their way in.

Unfortunately for Vesper this led to the final trap laid by the raiders to protect their hideout, a bear trap just beyond the door that their forceful entry led them directly into. After being patched up yet again by Chao-Chao the caravan made their way into the Station.

While finding some weapons and ammunition the most valuable finds were a power armor chest piece, a mini-nuke and a unique Buzzsaw Bladed Power Fist that was offered to Vesper as the primarily Melee fighter could make use of it. The latter two items were discovered in a locked safe that the Raiders had apparently been unable to open. Given the the worst of the daily heat and the surprisingly tiring aspects of the ambush the caravan decided to make camp in the Station for the night before getting back on the road for Primm.

All in all a fairly profitable and successful test of the Pickles Caravan effectiveness and teamwork.

So you heard about this little all-inclusive supernatural role-play asmr channel called "Redacted Audio" (formally known as Redacted ASMR) and much to your chagrin, realise that there's a daunting amount of videos. Fear not! This is how I would recommend on approaching the channel's videos and in what order. Full explanation and timeline break down under the cut!

I need to get the disclaimer out first, I am only just one fan of the channel and everyone is going to have different interpretations on how to watch the series and when. This post is more of a guideline of sorts than anything but if you feel comfortable diving in yourself there's nothing stopping you. If you have any further recommendations or want to discuss something with me, I'm on the discord or you can dm me or comment I dunno. Also I probs missed a few characters or vids but I mean there's quite a few sooo.... Furthermore, as of 2022, there has been a purge of the channel to remove any spicy videos off of YouTube onto Patreon (for free) for the sake of the channels safety. As you may or may not have noticed, there are still some characters I haven't included in this time. Mainly the office bois, Geordi and James. Most of these haven't been placed into my 'timeline' because there isn't a 'set place' I feel fits in with points like the Inversion, DAMN, etc. I'd consider watch these ones also at any point in time you feel comfortable, I will note that the Office bois don't feature any real empowered storylines so this can also act as a palette cleanser too. I'm also going to put this other DUMP video here but I think you could watch it anytime after the going through the Wolf pack, just because there is no set chronological point but its still kind of a cool video for lore. Spencer is a technophobe. That’s why (Y/N) has limited access to any kind of electronics, which is a good thing for a three year old. The only sort she is allowed to use is the TV in the living room and even there her choices are limited to the several DVDs the little family owns and cable TV. Emily is in the process of persuading him to get a subscription to a streaming service for (Y/N)’s sake.

“Ok, Sweetheart. One hour of TV today before eating dinner and getting ready for bed, like we negotiated”, Spencer reminds his daughter before turning it on a kid’s channel. She nods, already engrossed by Peppa Pig hanging up on that sheep for being able to whistle.

Earlier the two Reids made a deal: If (Y/N) got all the states and their capitals right, she is allowed one hour of television. This may sound like he forced her to learn this information, but it’s really just a way to stimulate her brain and the toddler is eager to learn. Spencer only has to make it look like she has a gain in it.

The young doctor doesn’t like to leave his kid alone while watching TV. It’s not because he can’t leave her on her own for a few minutes. Spencer wants full control over what (Y/N) sees and what not. Especially he can tell what effects something has on a child and he doesn’t want her exposed to things she shouldn’t be subjected to at her age.

“Daddy, why are the animals talking to each other? I know they are translating all languages to us, but a pig speaks not sheep language.” Spencer is slightly baffled at her question. It’s mostly cute that she explains most things to herself in such a plausible way.

“Uhm, well Sweetheart. You have to-” Saved by the bell. Or more like the ring of his cellphone. Still he hesitates to get it. It’s Morgan, who probably calls because the team needs help with the case.

Spencer had to stay behind for this one, because he planned on taking his vacation days with (Y/N) to fly up to Las Vegas to visit her grandma. But Diana spontaneously took the opportunity to go on a trip with the sanctorium. Now the two do all the things they don’t have the time for in their regular day.

They already were at the aquarium, visited three different museums and even went to the movies once to watch the latest disney movie. Spencer really had to keep himself from pointing out the inaccuracies to not spoil (Y/N)’s fun.

Now the father debates taking the call. He doesn’t want to leave his daughter alone while the TV is on, but also doesn’t want to talk about a case right in front of her. The option of turning the TV off is also from the table, because this would be just plain mean.

So he answers it, afraid that the voicemail will turn on. “Hey Morgan, wait a second, I’ll have to leave the room”, then he puts his hand over the speaker and turns to the toddler. “Sweetheart, I have to talk to your Uncle Derek real quick. I’ll be right back.” She nods and goes back to her cartoon.

But while her father is in the room next door, the audio gets awfully quiet. Frustrated, because she isn’t able to understand properly what they are saying, (Y/N) looks for the remote. And there it is, waiting patiently for her and her little toddler hands.

But instead of turning the volume up, she accidentally changes the channel to an old cop movie. Curious about what is happening on the screen, the girl leaves it on for a few seconds. Upon entering a room, another man greets him with his middle finger raised. (Y/N) looks at her own and tries to copy that movement. On the third try she kind of gets it.

Getting bored of not knowing what the plot of the movie is, she turns it back on the cartoon she watched earlier and settles back down on her little chair next to the table full of books (Spencer put it there to avoid her sitting too close to the TV and straining her eyes while watching her shows, the distance is perfectly measured).

Just as (Y/N) sits down Spencer re-enters the living room, feeling relieved because he was able to help his team. “Hey Sweetie, is everything alright?” Happily she nods, showing him the bird.

Spencer’s face? Just imagine the shook Pikachu. “(Y/N)! You don’t do that! This is really mean!” He tells her in a stern voice. Where did she learn that from? He doesn’t know it, but the genius is almost a 100% sure she saw someone on the street doing it, (Y/N) always was quick to pick things like these up.

The toddler looks at him with a sad face, close to tears. “I-i-i didn’t know. I’m sor-sorry”, she says, beginning to cry. Oh no, this is not what Spencer was aiming for. “No no no, don’t cry. It’s alright. I’m not mad at you. You just don’t do this, people can get really hurt by your gesture.”

After calming her down, he thinks of something they can do outside of their apartment, to forget the little incident. “Do you wanna go to the office with me? All your aunts and uncles are going to get there soon and maybe we can go eat dinner with them?” Excited by the thought of seeing her family, (Y/N) nods and jumps up to get her own little go bag.

It’s a bright pre-packed backpack with small coloring books, normal books, pencils and other knick knacks she might need when she goes out with her father. The only thing that they have to put in is her favorite stuffed animal of the day. They call it like Spencer’s work bag, because the toddler once overheard the word at the office and refused to call it something different than his.

“Hey, look at who decided to give us a little visit!” Penelope exclaims as soon as the team leaves the elevator. (Y/N) tries to keep up with her preppy step, desperately holding onto her hand to not lose her.

As they finally come to a halt in front of everybody, the little girl smiles sweetly at them. “Hi”, she says in the most adorable voice. But instead of doing her usual wave, she raises her small hand with her middle finger standing out.

You just hear a faint “NOO!” and a crashing noise before Spencer comes along in a jog. He scoops his daughter up, looking her into the eyes. He takes a few steps away from where the team is standing.

“(Y/N), what did we say about this gesture”, he asks her in a serious tone. Instantly tears start to form in her eyes again, but Spencer knows he has to be strong now. “(Y/N), you have to stop doing it. It can really hurt people. Do you remember when Jason made fun of the braids Auntie Penelope put your hair in?” She nods.

Meanwhile the team stands awkwardly in the background, not knowing what to do. They never really witnessed the genius reprimanding his daughter in front of them. Though it’s not directly in front them.

“You were hurt by his words. The same is with the gesture you just made. We don’t do this to people, we don’t want to make them feel bad. Now, I don’t want to punish you, because you didn’t really know the meaning. Just apologize to your Aunties and Uncles. Next time you do it, there will be a hard no on TV for a week.”

Quickly wiping her eyes, the toddler mutters a small “Ok Daddy.” Spencer’s heart hurts a little at that, but he needed to be stern in this one.

She wiggles out of his grasp and slowly makes her way over to the others. (Y/N) gives each of them a hug, apologizing individually to them.

“So, who wants to see the new pictures of Sergio I got on my desk?” Emily asks in a cheerful tone to break the awkward tension. Immediately the girl takes upon that offer and bounces off to the desk with her godmother in tow.

Spencer still stands near the elevator, watching the interaction going down through the glass doors. Hotch pats him on the shoulder. “I know it’s difficult to be mad at them or strict even, but you did the right thing”, he reassures him briefly before making his way to his office. The genius smiles, as a parent you seldom get encouraging words about how you raise your child. It kind of feels like walking down a path with closed eyes. But on both sides are deep rivers with piranhas in them.

Derek takes a place beside his best friend. “You know, as serious as this is, it’s also as funny. I mean how she just smiled sweetly as a cupcake and deadass pulled her middle finger up like nobody’s business? My man, in your case I would keep a close eye on her during (Y/N)’s teen years.” Both laugh at the bizarre situation.

But luckily the toddler learned her lesson from this and stopped showing people the bird as a greeting. This is until she learns the next inappropriate thing, she should rather not do.
