I love your Clover and Staroba art!! It has me wondering, though... Do you have any ideas regarding a possible amalgamate Kanako, and how she could fit into the picture?

So, I'll be honest. Kanako being an amalgamate has been utterly stumping me for this AU.

Partially because I think it's just so tragic and it hurts to think about and draw! And partially because I wonder if she even turned into one, given the unique circumstances of how she fell down. So while this isn't concrete, this ask did make me think of a scenario in which Clover overhears Ceroba receiving news about Kanako, and breaking into the Lab with Martlet in order to find her.

How sad it might be that the the adopted child of Ceroba's is the first to find out what truly happened to her first child.

Bonus note: Kanako's amalgamate form is based off this. I like to think if she did become an amalgamate, she's the one that tucks you in.

Talking with @thatsafuckeduptale about a UTY au/bad ending where Ceroba succeeds in taking Clover's soul to fuse with Kanako and we get a fucked up fmab style amalgam situation

Starlo is horrified and betrayed that his best friend did such a thing to innocent children. Kanako, whom he probably viewed as a nice, and his new human friend whom he had grown close to as well. He saw the tapes in the house like in pacifist, but he was just too late to get there and stop it from happening

Martlet is furious, Ceroba is inconsolable about the fact she's caused such suffering, to her own child no less, and now there's an unstable, dripping, shambling mass that's always in pain/on the verge of death but can't really die because there's like two human souls worth of determination in there. And Flowey can't reset either because he's not the one with the most DT in the underground anymore.

This is the "everyone is unhappy and fucked up forever" ending

me answering that is a biiiiit spolier-ey but what I can say is that clover has a lot of issues to work out and guilt from leaving their friends to sacrifice their soul.

plus i like to think (based on my interpretation of clovers backstory) that they're a very emotionally mature child and shoulders burdens they really shouldn't at their age

The gender clinic out here is apparently giving out swag bags, because one the guys came home from an appointment with a box of condoms and a stress ball shaped like a human liver.
