When Todoroki entered the broadcast room, he unintentionally smiled at the sight he saw. The trio were sleeping on the large black sofa as usual. Tsuji was in the middle, Shibaman was next to him and leaning on him, while y/n, although she looked quite small next to them, was sleeping on Tsuji's other side, leaning on his arm. The young boy sat on one of the other seats, opened his book and started reading. He didn't want to wake them up, they looked pretty cute and he was grateful for the little bit of silence he could find.
After a while, Todoroki raised his head when he heard the vibration sound of one of the phones on the table. The vibration of the phone made such a loud noise on the table that the other two woke up as well.
When Todoroki saw that the ringing phone belonged to the young girl, he saw that the heaviest sleeper in the group was still not waking up. Laughing at this, he looked at Shiba and saw that he was already reaching down on the table to mute the phone, while Tsuji was holding y/n so that she wouldn't fall.
The duo’s face, which looked very annoyed because their sleep was interrupted, made him laugh.
Tsuji “Look at this. It's her phone that's ringing, but she doesn't even wake up." While saying this, Shibaman was looking at the screen of the phone he was holding in surprise.
“Oi Shiba! Why don’t you still end the call?”
Tsuji couldn't understand what his friend was trying to do. When Todoroki frowned at the tall boy, Shibaman showed the phone screen to the other two.
“Sameoka ? Shoji Sameoka ?”
While the three of them were looking at each other, y/n woke up from her fake sleep when she heard the name, opened her eyes and got into a sitting position.
Tsuji was looking at her like asking "Weren't you sleeping?", Shiba was showing the phone with the screen off in his hand and waiting for an explanation with one eyebrow raised. Todoroki, on the other hand, was curious about the explanation the young girl would make, aware that she had been acting strangely lately.
“Can I have my phone?” Y/n asked holding out her hand and Shibaman held his hand up and y/n sighed. “I'll explain everything, just give me five minutes to call him back.”
Shibaman held out the phone and continued to hold it tightly when the young girl wanted to take it. The tall boy grinned when Y/n looked at him again. “You will talk here, turn on the speaker.”
Y/n was looking like "are you serious" but Shibaman was pretty serious. When she turned to Tsuji and saw that he was also determined, she nodded.
“Okay, but you won't make any noise.”
When the two nodded, y/n grabbed her phone and called the boy who called her again.
While the phone was answered immediately on the second ring, y/n was thinking about what to say.
“Y/n- san, hi.”
“Hello” Y/n nervously replied to the young boy. The looks of those around her did not help her at all.
"Um… I… I called for…" Shoji's voice was also quite nervous. “You told me to call you when I wanted my jacket back.”
Y/n cursed under her breath as she felt the wtf stares of those next to her. She had a lot to explain to them.
"Oh yes. I'm sorry, it's been a long time, hasn't it? If you send me a location, I can bring it to you."
Shoji apologized nervously, thinking he was being rude, when in fact he just wanted to see the young girl and continued.
“I'm actually in front of the school right now.”
Y/n laughed nervously as her eyes widened.
“Ebara, right?”
“No, Oya.”
When Shoji replied, the young girl cursed her luck again. And she answered in panic
“Sameoka-kun, you shouldn't be here. Also, I don't have your jacket with me, I have to go home and get it."
After a few seconds of silence, Shoji's voice was heard again.
“I see, your house is not far from here anyway.” Tsuji and Shibaman were listening to the two with angry looks, of course they were not angry, they just didn't want to see Shoji around their friend. They were also wondering why Shoji knew where y/n's house is…
“Then I will wait in the location that i’ll sent you, y/n-san.”
With a sigh of relief, Y/n hung up the phone, saying in a less nervous tone that she will be there. And she looked up in fear and looked at her friends’s face in the room. They all looked quite serious.
“You know you have a lot to explain, right?”
Y/n nodded slowly and sat back in the chair. She was very afraid of their reaction.
"Are you guys dating?" When Shibaman asked with a straight tone, y/n directly refused.
“What? No, of course not.”
“So do you like him?” When Tsuji asked, y/n looked at him in surprise. Why couldn't she say no to this question? Why was she afraid? The others were still waiting for her to speak as Y/n shook her head slowly. While the young girl was thinking about what to say, Todoroki spoke in a soft tone.
“You can start by telling the truth about your injuries from the other morning, y/n-chan.”
Y/n slowly nodded and started explaining everything from the beginning.
“Actually, I didn't lie about that.I just missed some details." When she offered a sweet smile, realizing it wasn't working, she continued. “That evening, a large group blocked my way. And their leaders… You know them. Those idiots you fought that first year-“
“Ryusei?” Shibaman asked confused and y/n nodded.
“They had many weapons, I took down many of them on my own, but I had reached my limit.”
Todoroki was getting angry when he thought that the young girl was attacked because of him. He was clenching his fists so tightly that turned white. Y/n smiled when she saw this
"Don't worry, I didn't lose." Although the young girl tried to lighten the mood by winking, all three of them were very serious. The young girl continued. “When I could no longer fight, I heard someone's voice. Sameoka was passing by and helped me. Later I realized that Ryusei had a knife. If it wasn't for him, they could have killed me."
“Son of a bitch!” y/n shook her head when Todoroki cursed in anger.
“I'm fine, I'm really fine. Sameoka wanted to go to the hospital, but I didn't want to worry anyone. Also, my parents would pick me up from school. So he walked with me home. I borrowed his jacket because I was cold. So it's nothing like you think."
The young girl smiled. She didn't give all the details, but that's more or less what happened. The trio was silent. Y/n wanted to say something, thinking they were angry, but she didn't know what to say. Tsuji was the first to speak,
"Why didn't you tell us?"
“I know you don't like him-“
“No, I'm not talking about that.” Tsuji protested. “Why didn't you tell us that they attacked you? You got hurt because of us-“
“Don't be ridiculous, wouldn't you do the same for me? I'm fine, really. It's over."
When Tsuji nodded, Shibaman spoke to change the subject.
“So why did you hide about Sameoka? Y/n we are your friends. Just because we don't like him won't change anything-"
"Not like that." Y/n protested. “I never forgot that day. I can't forget..." she waited silently for a few seconds and continued. “But… Sameoka is a good person. He was always nice to me, even though I was an asshole to him... I'm no better than him though."
The young girl sighed and smiled. “Even though you tell me it's okay, I feel guilty.”
When Y/n lowered her head, Tsuji sat next to the young girl again and Shiba crouched down in front of her.
“Y/n… it's okay for us. We don't like him, but we love you. If you have feelings for him-“
“I don't know,” the young girl answered Shiba. “He's honest about his feelings, but I don't know if I have feelings for him. I just don't hate him."
Tsuji laughed and patted the young girl's arm. Y/n looked at them and saw that they were all smiling reassuringly.
“Are you going home now?” Todoroki asked and y/n nodded.
“I need to get his jacket, then I'll go to the location he sent.”
Shibaman grinned when Todoroki nodded.
“We are coming too.”
“Huh?”
"We don't trust him, and it might be good to scare him a little."
Y/n rolled her eyes.
"Guys, I don't think he’ll be afraid of you-" The young girl smiled sweetly when she met Tsuji's gaze. "Yeah nevermind, let's go."
***
Y/n was quite nervous as she headed to the location Shoji had sent her. She didn't know what to do with the two tall boys coming right behind her and she thought she shouldn't bring them.
As much as she loved Tsuji and Shibaman, she was aware that these three wanted to punch each other every time.
When they came to the park by the lake and saw Shoji sitting on the bench, even she didn't know why she was smiling. He was wearing casual but stylish clothes as usual, his hair was braided again and he looked a little nervous.
As the trio approached the bench, the young boy turned his head when he heard footsteps. The small smile that appeared on his face when he saw the girl disappeared and he was surprised when he saw the duo behind her.
He stood up and took a few steps towards the trio.
“Y/n-san… thank you for coming.”
Y/n tried to smile, understanding the implication in the boy's voice.
“I brought your jacket, Sameoka-kun. And… they were going home too. Since we met on the road-“
“No, we came with her because we didn't trust you,” Shiba denied and y/n sighed.
Shoji was upset, thinking that the young girl did not trust him. Hadn't he proven that he would never hurt her? Was she afraid of him?
When he turned his gaze to the tall duo, Tsuji replied again with a flat tone.
“We will go, but let me warn you before we go. Y/n is very precious to us, if anything happens to her-“
Shoji answered without thinking
“She is very precious to me too. And you can be sure that I will protect her before myself.”
Even though Shoji spoke while looking at Tsuji, y/n looked at what he said and realized that he was actually speaking to her. To break the tension between them, she turned to the couple behind her and smiled.
“Tsuji and Shiba are being overprotective as usual, but they need to go home now. Right guys?
Even though the young girl was smiling, her suggestive voice was very clear. The two left with a short goodbye as they did not want to tease them any further.
Y/n turned to Shoji again and wanted to explain, afraid that he would misunderstand
“Sameoka-kun… I didn't bring them. Really… I think they're a little overprotective and like to annoy people.”
Shoji felt relieved when he learned that the young girl had not brought them. He knew that the past would not be forgotten, but he wanted to leave it behind.
“Oh, by the way. Here's your jacket. Thank you again.”
When Shoji saw the young girl carefully put his jacket into a bag, he smiled and took it from her. He pointed to the benches with what came to his mind.
“I brought snacks. Do you want to sit in the park with me for a while?
The young girl looked at the big bag on the bench and smiled.
“Like a picnic! Why not, the weather is really nice.”
Even though Shoji wanted her to accept, he thought she would refuse. That's why when the young girl accepted, he couldn't help smiling and quickly took the big bag from the bench.
Shoji had just noticed that the young girl was not wearing her school uniform. The jeans and jacket she was wearing were black, but they were not Oya's clothes. She looked quite beautiful. Shoji was already watching her with admiration, even with her face covered in blood.
When they came to the grass by the lake, the young boy spoke in panic.
“I… I forgot to take a blanket. I am sorry." Then he showed her his jacket in the bag. “I can lay this.”
Y/n giggled and shook her head.
“I'm someone who rolls on the ground, sitting on the grass won’t kill me, Sameoka.”
When Shoji saw the young girl sitting smiling, he smiled and sat next to her. He didn't know what to say. At first he asked small daily questions. But when he saw that this was even more embarrassing, he shook his head.
He asked, looking at the newly healing wounds on the young girl's face.
“Does it still hurt?”
Y/n shook her head.
“I didn't even feel it except for the first few days. But it was very hard to answer the questions of the people at school.”
Shoji nodded, opened the bag of chips and handed them to the young girl.
“I guess you didn't tell them.”
Y/n shook her head.
“Until today, no.”
When Shoji looked confused, the young girl smiled.
“When they saw that you were calling, I had to tell the truth.”
“They don't like me”
Y/n nodded. “You don't like them either.”
After a few seconds of silence, the young girl continued
“I… I have never been someone who can fit in anywhere. I've never had close friends. I was not someone who could control my anger.”
Shoji was silently listening to the young girl
“Tsuji approached me first. Tsuji and Shibaman were my first friends. Even though Todoroki didn't like me at first, he also started to become close to me later. They're less like my friends and more like the brothers I never had."
When the young girl spoke with a smile, Shoji understood once again how valuable they were to her. And they had hospitalized her beloved friends in front of her eyes...
"And you ? Do you still hate me?” When Shoji asked the question that had been on his mind for a long time, the young girl answered without thinking.
"No." Y/n's voice wasn't harsh. “I don't hate you. I didn't like you until recently, but I guess… I don't have any bad feelings towards you anymore.”
Shoji listened to the young girl in astonishment. There was a warm feeling inside his chest.
“Of course I haven't forgotten anything, but I think I've forgiven. The boys told me not to think about this incident any more, that it was okay.” Y/n smiled. “And I know you're sincere. I can feel it. Besides, I'm not much better than you.”
Shoji smiled as Y/n turned to him with a smile. He nodded. Even though he wanted to say, “No, you are much better than me,” he did not say anything.
"That's why Shoji-kun-" Shoji smiled the moment he heard his name from her lips. “I think the ice between us might thaw a little now.”
There was silence again for a while. Y/n realized that the silence was peaceful though, so she smiled and reached into the bag. She took out the plastic box inside and smiled
“ahhh, chocolate cake! I couldn't be happier today.”
Shoji was watching her again with the young girl's beautiful smile. He didn't know when he had such intense feelings for her. But Y/n fascinated him with everything about her.
"Ouch!" When the young girl suddenly took her hand away, Shoji looked at her in surprise. When he saw that her finger was bleeding, he didn't even understand what happened.
When Y/n rolled her eyes and looked at her hand, the black haired boy took out the clean handkerchief from his pocket and gently held the young girl's hand. Y/n was watching him as he slowly wrapped around her finger.
The young girl couldn't stop her heart from racing or feeling the butterflies in her stomach. When Shoji slowly raised his head and saw the young girl looking at him, he removed his hand.
"How did you do ? Did it hurt much?
Y/n shook her head silently.
“I think the plastic edge cut it while trying to open the box.”
Shoji nodded and slowly opened the box. He placed the cake in front of the young girl and handed her the fork and y/n giggled.
"Thank you."
Shoji shyly said it was okay. Y/n couldn't remember meeting someone who made her feel like a girl in a long time. Yes, her friends were more protective of her, but y/n had grown up around men. And Shoji Sameoka was making her feel things she'd never felt before.
After eating the things in the bag for a while, y/n lay down on the grass, holding her stomach. Shoji smiled at her reaction. Indeed, her appetite surprised him too.
Y/n was watching the clouds. The blue sky looked so beautiful that she couldn't help but smile.
And Shoji was watching her. He felt like he was watching a romantic movie. And he didn't want the movie to end at all.
He wanted to hold her hand, hug her, watch her sleep. He wanted to have a place in her heart. He always wanted to be there to protect her. Shoji Sameoka wanted to be with her.
"Looks pretty " Y/n turned to Shoji, referring to the sky. She could feel she is blushing when she caught the young boy watching her.
Shoji nodded without looking away.
“Yeah, looks pretty.”

Rooftop Rendezvous
Tumblr media
𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈(𝐬): Tsukasa Takajo x Reader(ʏᴏᴜ/ʏᴏᴜʀ) 𝑮𝒆𝒓𝒆: oneshot, fluff, slight crack (?) 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒔: gender unspecified; tsukasa takajo being a simp for u; played old love by yuji & putri dahlia and let you break my heart again by laufey
Tumblr media
“Alright, I'm heading out.” Tsukasa got up from his slouching position and made a beeline to the door.
“Ah, ah, ah! Not so fast!” Fujio slid between him and the exit, spreading his arms to enlarge his figure, preventing him to escape.
Tsukasa raised a brow. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he maneuvered to the right, but he followed, watching his movements like a buzzard.
He was far from amused. They kept duking it out, hopping and treading from left to right before Todoroki pulled the back of Tsukasa’s collar, ending their charade.
“Oi, what the—” He was thrown back on the couch, shooting him an annoyed glare.
Before he could lash out, his expression softened into a confused look when he noticed everyone staring at him.
“Didn't think we'd notice, huh?” Todoroki said in his usual cold tone.
“Yeah, Tsukasa-san!” Jamuo shakingly affirmed. “You've been leaving at this time of day since—” he counted his fingers, “—the past month!”
“You’re not getting into shady business, are you?” Yasushi playfully bantered.
“Hey, don’t say that,” Fujio defended, expressing his displeasure. “Tsukasa would never,” he discreetly turned towards the said blonde, his foot raised on the arm rest while his arm threw over his thigh, “But, seriously, bro. You haven’t been yourself lately. What’s going on?” He said.
Tsukasa should’ve expected this sooner.
If Oya High was notorious for one thing, it was not in academics. Everyone who attended this school had an unquenchable thirst to see fists flying and the taste of victory. Young adults who still haven’t found their purpose confide in what they do best with the people who think alike.
However, it slipped over Tsukasa’s mind that his buddies were not like the other full-timers. Therefore, he did not expect them to pick up on his strange behavior.
With his back pushed to the corner, he caved in.
He took a good look at everyone’s anticipating and impatient gazes, before leaning back onto the couch with an exasperated sigh.
“...I have a date.”
Silence…
“Hah?!” Kiyoshi exclaimed first, standing immediately with clammy hands.
“A date?!” Jamuo stuttered.
“Don’t make me say it again,” Tsukasa chipped.
Everyone was in over their heads. A myriad of expectful reactions would certainly get the rooftop a fine for public disturbance.
Fujio grabbed his best friend by the shoulders and shook them slightly, spouting out question after question.
Tsukasa brushed off his hands and made a run for the exit, leaving their unanswered questions in the air.
The more rambunctious (and desperate) group followed his tracks, clamoring down the stairs. The Todoroki faction could only watch as the idiots followed the now-smitten Tsukasa.
“Tsuji, pay up.” Shibaman had his hand out to him.
Scoffing, the other stuffed his hand underneath his jacket, slapping some yen to last him a week of street meals.
After shaking off his rowdy gang, he rushed down the quiet alleyway, arriving at a suburban neighborhood. He kept at it until he spotted a familiar house down the street.
Jogging to the side, Tsukasa climbed the rusty ladder, hopping down to the sloped roof.
The adrenaline leaving his body made his exhaustion more apparent.
Panting, he walked out of the corner and was greeted by a wondrous string of fairy lights placed on the terrace. A puddle of comforters and pillows laid center stage, snacks and pastries placed sparingly on the small breakfast tray.
“Tsukasa!” He looked over his shoulder to find you coming out of your bedroom window.
A stray smile stretched his lips as he exhaled a content sigh, feeling his shoulders slowly drop at the sound of your voice. “Am I late?”
“Just in time, actually. Aren’t you usually early?”
“'Got held up.”
You squinted at him, noticing the slight sheen of sweat coating his forehead. “Did you—”
“I didn’t get into a fight,” he affirmed, calming your nerves in an instant.
Well, if he did, he had to deal with your worried pacing and scoldings while you patched him up. Not a bad alternative, he thought.
How… How did things escalate to this point? You were only a regular person living your life, not involved with any gangs that run amok in the city.
A simple, normal life compared to his.
From helping you carry groceries back home, seeking refuge in your house on a pouring day, meeting at a mutually favorite café, to even find out about your love for stargazing…
Every interaction led to where now.
If he was being honest, Tsukasa had always expected to fall in love this way. A budding friendship of coincidentally bumping into each other daily, to cuddling under the moonlight as lovers.
You accepted his ways of life, as he did yours. Truly all he needed.
“...They bullied me into spilling it. I tried keeping it a secret for as long as I could.”
His half-lidded eyes stared at the sky, his hand engulfing yours with his thumb rubbing circles on your skin.
You hummed, melting closer to his side. “Sounds to me you got pressured.”
“Mm. I can’t hide anything from them…”
“Is that a bad thing?”
“When it involves my love life, yes.”
You chuckled. He turned his head to look into your eyes, knocking the breath from both your lungs.
Every second you could hear your pulse increasing, and so was his.
Tsukasa’s gaze kept flicking from your eyes and then your lips, pushing himself into another dilemma. He pulled you in closer and rested his chin above your head, petting and stroking your hair with his fingers.
Which proved to be more stressful for him as he felt your warm breath fan his neck. Any more and he’d be a dead man.
“I saw that you know.” You said, prompting him to whisper a “shut up…” as he closed his drowsy eyes.
Compared to his previous rooftop rendezvous, Tsukasa Takajo would take this one any day…
“Hey, did they kiss already?!”
“No, they’re just cuddling. Damn…”
“You wish that was you, huh?”
“Fujio, stop kicking me!”
“Am not, just stand put!”
“Um… maybe we should just leave them alone. Tsukasa-san won’t appreciate us invading his private life.”
“He’s right. I wouldn’t.”
Oya High’s mightiest looked up to find Tsukasa’s cold glare sneering at their souls.
“I suggest you leave. 'don’t doubt someone already reported you guys…”
As if on cue, the blaring of sirens drew nearer to the street. “Fuck, we gotta go!”
They all scrambled like little ants and towards an empty part of the street, not before Fujio shouted “Congratulations, Tsukasa!!” in the distance.
don’t mind me, just feeding my delulu for my favorite oya high love, tsukasa ❤️‍🔥 (LOOK AT HIS SMIRK UP THERE AHHHH—!!!) double release baby!! "but, it's 1AM---" DOUBLE RELEASE BABY!! Might as well spill all of my word vomit before I return to working on my ff. anyway, u know the drill. >> @airbendertendou, @star2fishmeg, @straysugzhpe, @simpforchuchu, @strxwberrychocolate, @prodbyblush, @thatpoindexterpixy

If Yamato's and Hyuga's little sisters snuck into Oya
Featuring: Yamato, Cobra, Hyuga, Fujio, Todoroki, Tsukasa, Jamuo, Yasushi
Notes: Post-Murayama Graduation. NOT EDITED.
Yamato's Baby Sister ->
Yamato's little sister is the toughest kid in daycare. You need someone to stomp a spider? She's on it. You need someone to pick up two chairs instead of one? She's the first one there.
So when she was having a play date with her friends from daycare, they were told that sneaking into the delinquent high school was the scariest and coolest thing other kids from daycare have been dared to do.
When Yamato's little sister learned that kids that had bragged going into Oya had only stepped foot in high school for only a couple of minutes, it was a call for a challenge.
"Excuse me," A small voice came out of thin air. Yasushi looked back and forth but saw absolutely no one. He swore he saw everyone leave the gymnasium after the fight with Kiyoshi and some other guy from the Chun-Chun faction.
Oh no. Was Jamuo actually telling the truth, that their high school was haunted-?
"Hello?" Something tugged the fabric of his pants. Yasushi was never so relieved when he looked down before reacting, he would have felt so bad for kicking the little girl in front of him.
He squatted down and looked at her for a long moment.
Yasushi scratched his head, "Um. Where did you come from?"
She blinked, "My mommy."
"That's not- Okay, never mind."
The little girl looked down at her shoes, tapping them together. "Uh.. I don' think 'm supposed to be here."
"Makes two of us." He jabbed a hand at her, "I think I should take you to someone that can help."
Yasushi took her down the hallways, and to her benefit, they didn't seem so scary anymore now that she wasn't alone!
Except she kinda got scared when a couple of guys came barreling down, not stopping for anything, and Yasushi had swiped the small child into his grasp before she got stomped on.
Finally, he found someone some-what responsible, Todoroki... as well as Fujio.
"Yasushi. Why do you have a baby on you?" Todoroki said trying not to sound startled.
"Nuh-uh not a baby, I'm turning five!" She pouted.
"Duh, Todoroki." Fujio crossed his arms and shook his head, "She's turning five."
She nodded very happily.
"She just popped out of nowhere. Y'know what? Maybe she's the ghost Jamuo saw here last month," Yasushi nudged the top of her head with the end of his finger. She looked up at him, almost like an exhuasted adult, as he treated her head like a bobble head.
Todoroki kicked him away, while Fujio crouched down to approach her.
Fujio smiled and patted her head, "Your mom must be worried sick. Do you know her phone number?"
She shook her head to all the guys' dismay, "No... and Mommy can't pick me up!"
"Why not?" Todoroki sighs.
"Mommy works. Yamato picks me up."
"Who's Yamato?" Fujio asks.
"My big brother!" She beams and pulls out a crumpled piece of paper out of her pocket. The two stick figures were her and her brother, she explained and babbled. Fujio and Yasushi both try to examine the drawing, trying to see if they can recognize anything familiar from the drawing.
While the two idiots looked closely at the child drawing, she sat with Todoroki, trying to get answers that would help.
"Do you know your address?"
"No!" She said while scribbling on a new sheet of paper Todoroki found for her.
"Okay, maybe you remember signs you've seen? Stores or restaurants you go to?"
"Oh!" She nodded and started to babble again, "Itokan! Naomi makes me yummy food and and and Cobra shares shakes with me. Strawberry shakes! Cause Yamato is a meanie... He don't like to share."
Todorki put his hands in face and cursed loud enough for Yasushi and Fujio to hear. The girl just giggled in her hands, kicking her legs back and forth.
She didn't really notice the panicked whispers and possible strangling noises as she drew her little drawings on the papers on the barely standing desk.
If this was high school, then high school is weird.
Todoroki managed to get a response from Murayama via text. Cobra's number as per requested, and reluctantly, he dialed it.
While that was happening, the little girl gave Yasushi a cat drawing with really pointy teeth and Fujio a dog with a big smile on it.
"Yamato!" She ran across the classroom and jumped right into his arms.
Yamato sighed, saying her name in clear exasperation, but held onto his sister tightly.
"Cobra!" She waved over Yamato's shoulders.
Cobra was busy taking in the situation, looking at the worn-down classroom for any suspicious activity. But it seemed that Todoroki was honest on the phone. She really did wander here on her own.
"Are you okay? Do you know what I've been doing all day? Looking for you, everyone was looking-" Yamato glared and held her up to get better look at her. She was covered head to toe in dust, her shoes turned grey and even her jeans torn a little on the bottom.
"Why are you dirty- why is she dirty?" Yamato stared down at his sister's (assumed) captors. "What the hell did you do to her?"
Cobra put a hand at his shoulder, trying to prevent him from doing anything serious.
"WHAT? She was like that wh-" Todoroki jammed a fist into Yasushi stomach to make him shut up. Meanwhile, Fujio put on his best customer service smile as his brain was racking for a suitable answer.
"Yamato, Yamato," She tugged on the collar of his shirt. "I was super sneaky. I went under the fence. I'm a spy! But, But, then they found me."
In a much gentler tone, he asked, "Pipsqueak, Did they hurt you?"
"Nuh-uh." She pointed at Yasushi, "He helped me! I was a little scared. But I like it here, they like my drawings! Can we come back Yamato??"
Still lurched over, recovering from Todoroki's punch, he rasped out, "...It's true."
Exhausted, Yamato rubbed his eyes and muttered under his breath, "I swear to god, this is the third time."
Fujio tried to offer the rest of paper they found for her to take with her but Yamato crumbled it up and threw it away. Before they left Todoroki got an angry looking cat drawing from Yamato's little sister and a subtle nod of acknowledgement from Yamato.
Cobra was the only who said "Thank you" and to "Not cause too much trouble."
Cobra turned around to look at Fujio, "Murayama said you were the best choice for Oya High. You better hope he's right."
Hyuga's Little Sister ->
• Hyuga's little sister is a problem solver. Her teacher says she applies logic well but her antics were a bit much.
• She currently was going through a bit a of a stubborn phase. When Hyuga said they were having miso soup for dinner but she wanted pasta. When Hyuga said not to stay up too late, she wanted to watch a movie right before bed. When Hyuga said she wasn't allowed to have spray paint because "You have crayons like a normal child."
• But to Hyuga's little sister crayons were so last season and she wanted her poster for her school project to look cool. When they drove by Oya High one time the spray paint looked so much better than markers and crayons.
The fifth time Hyuga said 'No' made her get on a train and end up at Oya High. She snuck into an open window (it was actually just broken).
She wandered around until she found spray paint bottles hanging around. She found the jackpot in an empty room, and this room actually had a door! She took all the spray paints and went further into the school to find more.
"What are you doing?"
She didn't flinch or jump when she got caught. She was busy standing on a desk, reaching for a can of spray paint on the shelf and successfully stuffing it in her backpack.
This room didn't have a door like the previous one. She was just about to move out of the room before this blonde guy came around.
"I'm busy. Shoo Shoo," She gestured, shooing him away.
"Are you stealing?" Tsukasa said, tilting his head at the stuffed backpack.
"No..." She pouted and crossed her arms, avoiding his eyes.
Tsukasa sighed and looked at the ceiling, thinking. "Okay, how about this? You tell me what you're doing here, and I can try to help."
"Big brother didn't wanna buy me spray paint..." She huffed again. "I don't wanna use crayons for my project."
"Does your brother go to Oya?"
"No," She shook her head and sat down, "He's older."
Then she realized she didn't know how to exactly get home.
Tsukasa asks, sitting on top of the desk across from her, "Do you know where you live? Your Mom and Dad must be really worried."
She seemed to get even smaller at his words. ".. I don't have a Mommy and Daddy. Only big brother."
"Oh," Tsukasa looked a little lost. He almost apologized but cleared his throat and smiled, "That's okay. So your big brother takes care of you, right? He must want to know where you are."
"But he might get mad," She frowns, hugging her backpack. She snuck out of school early to do this. Her brother must have been going crazy when Sakyo and Ukyo came home to tell him she was gone.
"He won't get mad," Tsukasa shakes his head, "I think he'll be happy to know you're okay."
He successfully managed to get her to agree to come with her on the rooftop. Tsukasa gave her a rubix cube he found on one of the couches for her to fiddle on while he went to get Jamuo and Fujio.
Fujio greeted her warmly, but still she scooted into the corner of the couch and fidgeted with the rubix cube.
Jamuo and Tsukasa looked through her backpack for anything that could help them find her guardian, but no luck there.
Tsukasa called her name, and she lifted her head up. "What's your brother name?"
"I'm not allowed to say," She said.
"How come?" Fujio asked.
"Big brother said not to tell people his name."
"Fujio, Tsukasa," Jamuo called out, pulling out a pink folder out of her backpack. His hands were shaking.
Alaramed, they went over while she pulled stickers out of her sweater. Graffiti was everywhere, so she thought it would be fine to stick things on the beaten up desks and chairs.
Jamuo pulled out a piece of paper out of the folder. Fujio was confused at the site of elementary school math homework. But then Tsukasa's eyes widened with a small 'Fuck.'
It had the little girl's first name and last name. Hyuga.
Tsukasa ran his hands through his hair, "We're so fucked."
Thankfully, Hyuga's casinos had phone lines. Unfortunately, they were notified that Hyuga would be arriving soon.
Tsukasa pulled all the spray paint out of her backpack to her dismay.
"But.. you said you would help me," She frowned.
"Spray paint can be dangerous to inhale," Tsukasa
replied, clearly distracted, cause he was barely paying attention to her as he put the cans of spray paint away.
There was no point in arguing, so she sulked and looked at Jamuo, who was on his knees on the floor. He was mumbling to himself, clearly not doing so great.
She tugged at Fujio's shirt, "Does he always do that?"
Fujio smiled, friendly, collected, even though his mind was in a very different place. "No, he doesn't. He'll be fine, don't worry."
Fujio let her put her stickers on the door to the roof. Letting her talk his ear off about the Hello Kitty ones and the Lightning McQueen ones her big brother bought for her.
Hyuga's presence had all of them with the same expression, like a deer in front of headlights. You could hear a pin drop before she scuffled over to Hyuga, Sakyo, and Ukyo.
She had her hands behind her back, pouting with her big puppy eyes.
"Are you mad at me?"
"Check her," Hyuga glanced at her for a moment before looking at Fujio.
Jamuo had his back bent all the way down in a deep bow while Tsukasa couldn't make eye contact or he would start sweating.
Sakyo leaned down, hands on his knees, "You okay Lil' demon? Are you hurt anywhere?"
She nodded frantically and stuck her pointer finger out, "Paper cut."
Hyuga's face became colder, and Fujio thought they were all going to die because of a paper cut.
Sakyo whistled and shook his head, "Well that's no good." His twin handed him a band-aid and Sakyo put it on her.
"Hello Kitty," She smiled at her wrapped finger.
"Are those hers?" Hyuga looked at Fujio's face and shirt. Stickers were scattered across his shirt and his cheek and chin.
"Oh, yeah," Fujio wanted to laugh, but he just smiled stiffly, "She's a good kid."
Hyuga grunted and grabbed the pastel pink backpack Ukyo handed to him. He looked down at his sister, "Did they try to steal you?"
"No, I got lost," She was using her best puppy dog eyes so he wouldn't get mad, "They gave me toys!" She stuck out her hand with the rubix cube.
Hyuga looked at the Oya students for a long time, then at the twins, and then at his sister. He gave her his hand before telling her, "We're leaving."
Just as he reached the rooftop entrance, he looked at Fujio, "Just because I made the sword alliance with Murayama, doesn't mean I made it with you. Remember that."

fingerprints | 2 | todoroki x reader
Tumblr media
pairing: Todoroki Shouto / Reader
length: 4.8k of est. 20k words | 2nd of 7 chapters
summary: When you’re outed as pro hero Shouto’s soulmate on national television, there are really only two sensible things for you to do: blame someone else and run.
tags/warnings: romance, soulmate au, fluff, pining, not actually unrequited love, aged up characters, eventual smut
Tumblr media
The next morning, it was everywhere.
The news about Todoroki Shouto’s soulmate had blown apart the entire twittersphere with nuclear force, leaching into public radio, talk shows, and newspapers around the country. Across the internet, the Shouto stans had already formed factions, half frantically crafting moodboards and gifs replete with heart emojis and little flower crowns—and half executing deeply watery, extremely public meltdowns. All were blowing up the #shoulmate tag.
By the time you woke up, your entire news app was also carpeted with articles covering the soulmate incident. You couldn’t escape that image of Todoroki—handsome, combat-ruffled, and perfectly blank in shock—-with those two fingerprints pressed high on his cheekbone, the woman from the store just barely in frame to his side.
The speedier news sources had also managed to uncover the woman’s identity, and in just one day, the news media had flooded with a million factoids about her life. The woman in question turned out to be called Yoshizuki Ayumi, and the entire world was now privy to all her intimate details, down to her grades in elementary school and her childhood cat’s name.
Everything that had surfaced seemed to prove she was a good match for Shouto, in your personal opinion. She appeared quiet and serious, just like him, and she was pretty in an understated kind of way, all shiny dark hair, big dark eyes, and a neat little button nose. She was also the owner of two adorable senior dogs with their own expertly managed instagram account, which gave her the stamp of approval, in your eyes.
Not everyone apparently agreed, though. The internet had managed to drum up every possible conspiracy theory about Yoshizuki Ayumi, and people were more than ready to deny her effect on Todoroki. The reporters apparently hadn’t gotten much out of her or Todoroki after you’d made your escape. No one had seen her touch him, and Todoroki had quickly crowded her and the paramedics back towards an ambulance, throwing up a wall of ice to block the hordes of people trying to get at her.
So there was all sorts of rampant speculation, mostly from the die hard Shouto stan crowd, insisting that Yoshizuki Ayumi wasn’t actually Todoroki’s soulmate. They also insisted the fingerprints weren’t fingerprints, complete with highly zoomed in photos analyzing the edges of the prints—clearly they were dirt splotches, which anyone with a lick of sense could see!
Nevermind that the fingerprints visibly started to fade within a minute, right in front of the camera, the way that actual soulmarks did. And people had the gif sets to prove it.
Even the magazines had started picking it up: Is Yoshizuki Ayumi Actually Shouto’s Soulmate? and Todoroki Soulmate Still In Question, and Why We All Might Be Mistaken About Pro Hero Shouto’s Soulmarks, more on page three.
But you had been there. You had seen it in person.
You’d seen his face, clear one moment. And then in the next, he’d borne evidence of a soulmate’s touch.
And definitely not your touch, either. No matter how much time you’d spent hyperventilating about it as you booked it back to the shelter yesterday, only to be greeted by a shocked Mari, whose mouth had dropped straight open when she’d seen you.
“What the fuck happened to you?” she demanded as you tumbled through the door.
Even the orange kitten stopped where she was licking herself, perched among shreds of what had probably been important adoption papers atop the reception desk.
It was then that you looked down and realized you were drenched face to knees in snowmelt from a fall on your way back, shivering, with soot and grime and apparently some of your own blood staining every inch of your clothes. You must have looked unhinged, some wild gutter woman who’d dragged herself out of the depths of a trashcan and stumbled into the shelter.
“Oh shit,” you’d said, like an idiot.
Mari had gaped, eventually managing an incredulous, “Y/N, what the hell?”
And then like bile rising up your throat, you’d vomited out the story of what had happened, from the explosion to the rescue right down to the marks on Todoroki’s face, the frantic crush of reporters.
You left out the part where you’d hallucinated yourself touching him for a minute, though. No need to worry her that you’d also hit your head and bonked your brains right out of your skull.
Mari had called the urgent care down the street right then and there. She’d shooed you out the door, promising to cover the rest of your shift, and then had called you on your cellphone for good measure, making sure you’d gotten in safely.
The nurse at urgent care had given you a row of very gross-looking stitches along your knee and had explained you had heavy bruising all along your shin and thigh and shoulder. She’d rubbed down all your cuts with a thick, pungent antiseptic, and then had tested your awareness and recall, just in case you had banged your head.
Then she’d released you, and you’d trudged a very slow path home, your mind swimming. You’d taken a hot shower that stung your bruises like a swarm of hornets, and then shoveled down an enormous plate of leftovers from the fridge, finally crawling into bed only to pass out as soon as you hit the sheets.
And in the morning, the media had been going fucking nuts.
Lucky for you, in stark contrast to Yoshizuki Ayumi, there was almost nothing about you, except for a couple of speculative tweets about how you’d disappeared—one of the cameramen for a morning news show had caught some b-roll of you in profile as you’d stumbled out of the crowd—and why would someone just up and disappear like that after a rescue? Running Girl was suspicious, if you asked those twitters.
Those several random tweets notwithstanding, there was nothing in particular floating around the media about you, so you encountered no trouble as you made your way back to the shelter the next morning, stopping to pick up puppy pads in place of the ones that had been lost in the chaos yesterday.
You opened the shelter up, shelling out food and water and taking the dogs out one-by-one to the run in the back. The two shivery chihuahuas both got meds for their bad allergies, and a teddy bear arm needed removal from a crate after apparently being ripped off during the night.
The kittens were all happy to see you, too, even the haughty little orange princess, and they all came waddling over to get scratched and smooched and to shred the hem of your jeans.
You spent most of the morning mopping down the floors, running the dogs around the pen out back, playing with the kittens, and fielding a couple calls from prospective kitten owners. Two women came in that morning, a mother and her teenage daughter, and they adopted the smallest kitten in the bunch, a very sweet boy who had none of his sister’s fire but all of her charm.
Little Miss Orange herself spent a significant deal of time out at the desk with you, chasing the pen across the notepad as you took down info from callers. Her tiny teeth were like needles in your fingers, and she did not take well to the criticism that you almost dying yesterday had really been mostly her fault. It was a version of the butterfly effect, you thought, where instead of the flap of a butterfly’s wing, it was the shred of tiny, malicious little claws.
Then you’d called Mari to tell her you’d cover her afternoon shift to make up for the day before, and it was then, after lunch, when things got truly crazy.
You were still playing with the orange kitten on top of the desk when the bells on the door jangled and a tall figure stepped through the door. The man was dressed in a handsome dark blue jacket with cozy-looking wool trim along the collar. It lay open over a grey turtleneck and black slacks, both of obviously very good quality. The man’s features were obscured by a grey woolen beanie and a pair of sunglasses, but you had the impression from his stature and carriage that he was probably super handsome.
You tried to pretend like you weren’t too interested as you greeted him and he made his way over to the desk. The little orange kitten looked up from where her fangs were fully embedded in the tender skin between your thumb and forefinger.
As he came closer he spoke–-and your whole body locked up in sudden terror.
“Hello,” he said, and the low tone was instantly familiar to you.
Your mouth dropped open in horror as Todoroki Shouto pulled off his sunglasses, stowing them away in his jacket. He looked just as good as he had yesterday, just as solid and real and overwhelming. His face was somehow even more unfeasibly symmetrical—almost like he was the fantasy of a man instead of a real one—and worst of all he smelled good, some light, expensive cologne touching your nose as he moved closer.
Real.
Todoroki Shouto was real, and he was in your animal shelter.
“Holy shit,” was all that escaped you. You didn’t remember standing up but suddenly you were out of your chair, staring at him. Your heartbeat instantly kicked into overdrive. “How did you—? What are you—-? You’re here for—-pet—?”
You couldn’t form proper words, some combination of surprise and terror numbing your brain. There was no explanation for why Todoroki Shouto should be standing in your workplace right now.
Todoroki regarded you impassively. “You ran away, yesterday,” he said evenly.
Despite yourself, you couldn’t help the way your eyes darted over to his cheekbone. The move was reflexive, as his cheek was obviously once again unmarked, pale and smooth, so regal and high-boned it should have been illegal. Soulmarks usually faded after about a minute, until you pressed your fingers to your soulmate’s skin again to leave another. You guessed Yoshizuki Ayumi hadn’t been in contact with him in the last minute or so.
“Uh, yep,” you supplied, mind racing. You weren’t in trouble, were you? For yelling stuff and then running off in the middle of some big rescue operation? “I had, uh, stuff to do—-Super busy, you know. Shelters. This time of, uh, year—”
Todoroki watched you blankly, one white eyebrow raising only minutely. “You were…busy,” he echoed blandly.
Somehow, you felt judged by this. You unclamped the orange kitten’s jaw from your hand so you could fold your arms against your chest defensively.
What did he know? You could have been busy. The grind never stopped for a girl with an hourly wage, and especially not for a girl with aspirations of opening her own rescue, who needed to amass an impossibly large sum of money before she could do so.
And why did he care? Why was he here?
Was it that he had beef with you for throwing his soulmate to the wolves like that? For drawing attention to her and exposing them on national television? In your opinion that wasn’t all your fault. It wasn’t like people weren’t going to notice that, given he was like, the most high profile hot guy in the universe.
Although in retrospect maybe it hadn’t been the best move. But you had panicked!
God you hoped you weren’t going to get taken to task by one of your celebrity crushes. What was the best way to get him out of there before he could yell at you?
“Yes,” you said. “So busy. So so busy. Nice of you to drop by, though, uh, thanks for checking up. Good luck with your soulmate.”
Todoroki just stood there, staring at you like you were some kind of alien who had just beamed down into the shelter, speaking to him in some crazy space language.
“My soulmate,” he echoed. Like he had never heard the word before.
“Yeah! Yoshizuki Ayumi!” You said, quickly. “Tell her I said hi, and it was nice surviving with her…Anyway, have a great day!”
You beamed your best leave the shelter now vibes at him with the full force of your mind.
Todoroki did not, however, move to leave. He continued to stare at you, those heterochromatic eyes passing over you curiously. And then he took a step forward so he was right in front of the desk.
You took a reflexive step back, heart doing a wild little kickflip in your chest, your leg accidentally slamming into the chair and sending it careening into the wall.
He was so insensibly handsome up close, it was like a punch to the sternum. He was so tall and his shoulders so broad. His features were so straight, so carefully wrought, so hauntingly elegant. He belonged in a museum, not an animal shelter, and he also belonged ten thousand billion feet away from you so you could breathe properly.
Todoroki held out a hand, fingers long and pretty and way too close to you. “I’d like to confirm,” he said.
Now it was your turn to stare at him like he’d just sprouted an extra head.
“Confirm what?”
Todoroki’s fingers drew together. “I’d like you to touch me, please.”
You stared down at his hand. It did look very touchable, strong and calloused. But that did not explain why he wanted you to touch it, and why he had somehow tracked you down and shown up here in the first place.
Suspicion coiled into a pit in your stomach.
If he wasn’t here to dress you down for exposing Yoshizuki Ayumi…and he wanted you to touch his hand…
It couldn’t be.
No. There was no way.
Maybe Todoroki had to be losing it. Had he bonked his head in the rescue attempt? Had one of the reporters yesterday accidentally beaned him in the skull with their microphone? Had he sustained some kind of brain damage in a rescue between yesterday and today, and was he now roaming around unchecked with the weirdest ideas in the universe?
There was no way he was actually here because he wanted you to touch him to confirm if you two were soulmates.
You worked at an animal shelter, for an insultingly microscopic hourly wage, and you spent your days scrubbing dog poop out of the crates and shoving pill pockets down resistant little chihuahua’s throats. He was the number four hero, still on his way up, Japan’s most chillingly beautiful and strangely memeable person, and he’d saved about a gazillion lives at this point.
Did you mention you cleaned dog crates for a living?
You, like every other woman on the planet, had daydreamed about leaving your grubby little fingerprints all over pro hero Shouto, but that did not mean it was actually possible. The universe did not have a laugh at people like this.
Yoshizuki Ayumi. He should really double check that it was Yoshizuki Ayumi.
“That’s okay,” you said faintly, suddenly feeling like you needed to sit down.“We can just pretend like, um, it didn’t—I mean, it couldn’t actually—You don’t have to—”
Todoroki watched you patiently, and you looked down, unable to hold his gaze.
He still seemed like he was waiting though, so you tried to impress on him how ridiculous this actually was.
“Okay, this is really nice of you but like, I’m sure we don’t need to do this. You’re like, a pro hero. And I am very, very normal. I eat microwave dinners! And I got yelled at on the phone today. And like, cleaned up a bunch of stuff you don’t even want to know about. I don’t think we could be, um, soulmates or whatever.”
His eyebrows went up, prompting even more words to come spilling out of you.
“And also you’re so h—I mean, you look like a dream—well not a—I didn’t mean to say that—-I mean, you do but it’s weird to say it. You know how you look. My point is, we definitely don’t need to confirm anything. Right…?”
A muscle twitched at the corner of Todoroki’s mouth, pulling it just slightly upwards. “A dream,” he repeated.
Your ears went hot. “Pretend like I didn’t say that. You get the point.”
Those mismatched eyes flicked up and down your body, probably cataloging how very much like a dream you didn’t look, in jeans and your least cute sweatshirt because you couldn’t wear anything you didn’t want an animal to shred.
Todoroki’s eyes moved back up to your face, and then he leaned forward, catching your hand in his own.
You stared at where his long fingers pressed into the back of yours. His hand was so warm, and his callouses rasped gently over your knuckles in a way that sent shivers shuddering down your spine.
And then, as he lifted his fingers, you really did need to sit down, because you could clearly see a row of clean, clear fingerprints, standing out stark against your skin.
“This is not real,” you heard yourself say. “Nope. No no no.”
It had been…you?
It had been you. You, of all people! Leaving a soulmark on Todoroki Shouto, pro hero and walking dreamboat, when you accidentally poked him in the face trying to climb off his shoulder.
It was a thought too strange to be entertained.
You had always imagined your soulmate as someone very much like you. Regular, easy to be with, normal face, normal looks, just like—normal. And likewise, Todoroki had probably pictured someone very much like him—tall, elegant, prettier than should be allowed for the self-esteem of all the other humans on earth—completely extraordinary. They probably also were supposed to do something noble and selfless, like be a hero themselves, or like, be a nurse or take care of the elderly or whatever kind and thoughtful people did.
They definitely weren’t supposed to be the kind of nutter who held one-sided conversations with a chihuahua about what a rat boy he was as they walked him out to the run in the morning. They weren’t supposed to be someone with an elaborate revenge fantasy on their coworker and an orange kitten for almost getting them killed over some puppy pads. They weren’t supposed to like, secretly use their roommate’s shampoo or sprinkle her fancy truffle salt into their mac and cheese whenever she annoyed them.
This could not be right.
Before you knew what you were doing, you had pushed the reception chair over to Todoroki in case he needed to sit down the way you did.
It was probably way too much for him to handle.
“I promise I won’t tell anyone,” you said to him. “Not even my best friend, I swear.”
Todoroki’s hand stilled in the air between you. A tiny little crease appeared between his brows. “Is there…a problem?”
You couldn’t help but laugh. Like it was a problem to be fated to him. Like he wasn’t the wet dream of millions of human beings, and kind and heroic to boot.
“No,” you assured him. “Really, this is probably the luckiest I will ever be.”
You tried to think about how to properly explain what you meant to him. “I just mean, like, it doesn’t have to be anything you don’t want it to be. I don’t have to tell anyone. So you can just do your thing, like usual. I won’t be any trouble.”
He was back to looking like you were a mystifying species of fish that had just swam up from the bottom of the ocean. Like a blobfish or something.
“You’re my soulmate,” he said simply. Like that was fine. Like that could mean something, even.
You were thankfully saved from having to answer him by Little Miss Orange choosing that moment to sink her claws right into the luxurious fabric of his pants and haul herself up his side. Todoroki stilled, letting her climb right up his sweater up onto one of those broad shoulders. You watched her a little jealously. They were extremely nice shoulders.
“Oh,” Todoroki said, softly. His hand came up automatically to pet her, fingers stroking gently over her orange and cream fur.
You could have basically melted. And the orange kitten looked like she could have, too. She let out a rumbly little purr of contentment, butting her head up against his fingers. He petted her again, more firmly, blinking a little bit in surprise.
You could have taken a video and sold it for a million dollars.
The kitten’s purring grew even louder, and you couldn’t help but laugh again. She’d obviously taken to Todoroki the way any self-respecting woman would have. You tried not to be jealous that she’d been destroying your hand only minutes ago.
Plus, she was the whole reason you’d even been in that situation yesterday. She was the entire reason you had just found your soulmate, as literally impossible as that was seeming right now. She was the entire reason Todoroki had been able to rescue you in the first place. Which reminded you…
“Thank you,” you said.
Todoroki’s eyes flicked back to yours.
“For saving me,” you clarified. “I didn’t get to say it yesterday, because, um…”
Todoroki’s mouth twitched again. “Because you shouted that another woman was my soulmate and then ran away.”
Your face flamed. “Yes. That. Because I did that.”
In your defense, that was really the only logical assumption. The odds of ending up with Todoroki Shouto as your soulmate were one in seven billion! Also he was like, horrifyingly hot, and the only natural reaction in your opinion was to beat a hasty retreat back to a Todoroki-free location.
Which actually begged the question…
“How the hell did you find me?” You asked.
Todorki’s fingers stilled in the kitten’s fur, and she immediately let out an ugly, discontented yowl. It was his turn to look slightly hunted.
“A friend ran video footage,” he said, kind of evasively.
Which sounded very vague, and also kind of shady.
Was it a pro hero’s jurisdiction to “run video footage”? What did running footage entail, exactly? Did they cross reference your b-roll footage with images on the internet and find your social media? Did they cross reference it with camera feeds and track you down to the shelter?
Wasn’t that the kind of stuff only the police could do with like, serial killers?
You squinted at him in suspicion, and Todoroki’s face went even more blank. “What exactly—”
“Are you hurt?” Todoroki asked quickly. “You didn’t get treated, yesterday.”
You blinked, thrown off. “That’s not—”
“Did you not?” Todoroki frowned, and leaned forward to look at you better. This brought his face nearer, and all the questions about the video footage were suddenly wiped entirely from your brain.
“I did!” you supplied quickly, heartbeat spiking wildly. “I went to urgent care after I came back here. I’m just bruised, and I got a couple of stitches. But nothing major! I got lucky.” Which also reminded you. “How is the cashier girl? And, um, Ayumi?”
Todoroki’s fingers resumed petting the kitten. You tried not to take too much interest in the shape and length of them as they pulled carefully through that orange and white fur.
“They are well,” he said. “Yoshizuki-san is similarly bruised, and had a minor fracture, I am told. The other girl is awake, and doing well. They are monitoring her but so far do not see any significant indications of a concussion or other damage.”
You nodded. “Good. That’s good.”
Todoroki watched you quietly again for a few long moments. Finally he said, “What did you mean…it doesn’t have to be anything I don’t want it to be?”
The return to the soulmate topic sent your heartbeat kicking right back up again. You shifted nervously.
“I just meant, like…We don’t know each other. And I don’t know if you’re, um, seeing anyone. Or if it’s even like that, for you—I don’t want to assume.” You tried to figure out how to say what you wanted without sounding self-deprecating, because it wasn’t about any problem with you. It was about the ridiculousness of the match. “And it’s possible you could have a type, and like, I might not be that type, you know—there’s so much unknown about soulmate chemistry—and so you shouldn’t feel obligated—”
“Are you seeing anyone?” Todoroki asked, suddenly.
When you looked back at him, he’d shifted forward slightly, leaning over the desk again. His face had gone even more still, except his eyes were somehow brighter, fixed on you intently.
“Um, no,” you said, then quickly added, “But that doesn’t mean like, I have expectations! Like I said, we don’t know each other, and so you can go back to doing your own thing. I really don’t have to tell anyone.”
Todoroki plowed right past this offer.
“And do you have…a ‘type’?” he asked, pronouncing the word as though it was foreign.
Yes. Tall, strong, stupidly handsome, red and white hair, pro hero.
“No,” you said hastily.
Todoroki was silent for a long minute as he considered this. You could hear one of the dogs in the back boof softly, and there was a high pitched, shivery answer from one of the chihuahuas. Todoroki’s fingers petted gently over the kitten.
“And what if,” Todoroki said eventually, “I thought perhaps we should get to know each other?”
This stopped you in your tracks. “You…do?”
He nodded seriously, though the effect was somewhat ruined by the orange kitten smushing herself all up against the side of his head. She looked like she was dissolving into a happy, boneless puddle under his touch.
And you were not going to think about whether you might ever get to dissolve into a happy boneless puddle under his touch.
Nope.
Big no.
“Um, I—-okay,” you said before you even realized you’d spoken. “I’d—yes, I’d like that. How should we—?”
Todoroki stretched out an elegant hand, and said, “I will give you my number. I would like to arrange to see each other.”
You fumbled your phone as you pulled it out of your pocket, not wanting to linger on see each other as his choice of phrase. Seeing each other could be—would be—-totally platonic. Soulmates you might be, but the connection differed for everyone, and he didn’t actually say anything romantic. You didn’t even know each other.
You tried not to cringe when Todoroki’s eyebrow went up at the large crack spiderwebbing across the corner of your screen. The price of a fix was significant enough that it created a choice between groceries or a pretty screen, and right now you were prioritizing groceries until the phone became unusable.
Todoroki typed something in, and then held your phone back out to you. You took it, careful not to brush his skin lest you leave more soulmarks on him. You saw that he’d texted himself from your phone, and also that he had put himself in as Shouto, specifically, with no last name attached—which was kind of cute for how insistent it was.
Unless he meant it like his hero name.
Then Todoroki reached up to take the kitten down from his shoulder, placing her back on the desk. She dug her little claws into his jacket and tried to climb back up, but he leveled her with a blank look, almost like an exasperated father.
“I have a press conference,” Todoroki said, looking slightly wilted by the prospect. “Yoshizuki-san and I will need to demonstrate that she is not my soulmate, to quiet the press. I…apologize that I must go.”
A tinge of guilt seeped into you. “Oh shit. I’m–-sorry.”
The corner of Todoroki’s mouth lifted. “I would like to call you, after,” he said.
A little thrill went through you, and you frantically shoved the feeling down.
“O–oh! Yeah that would be good!” you said inanely. You wondered how much time the press conference would take and how much hyperventilating you could fit into the space between now and then. Todoroki Shouto was going to call you. He was going to actively try to talk to you again!
Todoroki reached out, then, and pressed a finger to the back of your hand again, watching transfixed as the color bloomed under the pad of his finger. Your ears went hot again, and you squirmed.
Unreal. Absolutely unreal.
Seeming satisfied with that, Todoroki bade you a farewell in his low tone, and let his hand stroke over the kitten one more time, looking sort of sad to leave her. You murmured your own farewell, a little dazed, the feeling of his skin on your skin still lingering on the back of your hand.
And then with one last lingering glance, he was gone, leaving you to pull the chair back over and sink down into it—wondering if you had just hallucinated the most impossible interaction of your life.

-why would Yasushi slap Kiyoshi so damn soft?
-Yasushi is the fucking mother hen of the Yasu-Kiyo faction!!! Example 1;guy lands on the table,Kiyoshi screaming at him Yasushi looks like he checks the guy for injuries.Example 2 he doesn´t leave anyone behind instead helps them get away.
-When Kiyoshi sacrifices himself,he tells the Yasu-Kiyo faction to take Yasushi away and they do so without hesitation. Why?Yasushi´s their leader too.My theories fo from Yasushi´s permanent brain damage they didn´t tell anyone out of the faction off to Kiyoshi having a talk with the faction that hell will break loose if Yasushi will ever end in a  similar situation
-Kiyoshi was probably be so scared goin into the icu and just seeing the similar hair color from the door under the oxygen mask and bandages fearing it´s Yasushi until he get´s closer and discovers it´s Shidaken
-Gandhi has the most hilarious laugh out of all of them
-Amagai watched to much Home Alone
-Odajima´s Heya is the cutest thing to exist.Ever.
-love how Yasushi came flying through the boarded up window like it´s nothing
-Suzuran showing up with fireworks is probably Binzo´s idea

-Jinkawaaaaaa!
-Suzakis jacket is a lot more Amagai´s color in the end

Day 39 of drawing bakugo daily till @is-bakugou-alive-yet says yes
[text: Be careful, Icy-Hot. I don't wanna have to haul your dead ass back]
FINALLY. i finally started putting the mafia AU down somewhere. i know have a vague backstory of a lot of characters except the main characters somehow.... anyways bakugo lore under the cut! send me asks if you're interested in more skjfslk
Anyways bakugo's backstory is that he's really close friends with the heir of one of the big yakuza factions, the todorokis. he isn't really in the yakuza scene but since his parents are one of the major designers in the fashion industry, they have a lot of run-ins and connections in terms of work with the yakuza. and thus, Katsuki, who'd been called in for emergency model roles multiple times by his parents. got to know shouto through small meetings and work/social events here and there. Katsuki definitely didn't want to get into the yakuza scene but he also couldn't get into the hero/police scene without having to kinda eventually go after his best friend. Thus he ended up as a part time model and part time info-broker. Being with the yakuza and seeing the darker side of the world he realised early on that quirks arent everything so his anger and explosiveness is a lot more mellow. Not to say that he doesn't have pride on being one of the most demanded teenage models as well as being a very well connected informant.
He doesnt really support the current yakuza under Enji, but if Shouto took over he would 100% be his right-hand man in the shadows (can't let his daytime profession be in danger etc.)

HIGH & LOW : THE WORST SERIES
HIGH & LOW FANFICTION
FF1: BIG SISTER
Oya High full-time students meet Nakaoka's big sister.
"Okay! Nakaoka, you coming?"
Nakagoshi called out with a grin, together with their friends who were ready to go wherever they had decided for today to hang out.
"Huh? Where?"
Not totally listening earlier, the others frowned. Nakagoshi approaching him and put him in a headlock making Nakaoka protest. The older teen had always liked to tease him whenever he could.
"Arcade of course! Don't tell me you're going to bail on us again?!"
They were currently on the rooftop, together with the other 3rd years, mainly Fujio with Tsukasa and Jamuo chatting, Todoroki reading quietly with Shibaman and Tsuji on the other side by the couch, and the duo, Yasushi and Kiyoshi bickering with their buddies by the side of the pool while the younger ones, mostly the ChunChun faction were on the other side talking about boy's stuff when they decided to go to the arcade.
Nakaoka looked at Nakagoshi with an apologetic look.
"I can't today. Sorry Nakagoshi-san. I'll come with next time!"
Then he rushed out in a hurry making the others frown at his escape.
"What's his problem? He always leaves early these past weeks."
"Do you think something's going on with him, Nakagoshi-san?"
Nakagoshi didn't answer but his face was serious, so they decided to leave it alone. If something was going on with their youngest, Nakagoshi would be the first to know. They're like two peas in a pod, always with each other, protecting each other and no secrets were hidden so Nakagoshi is kind of worried about Nakaoka's uncanny behavior.
Afterall, he never leaves early and was always the first to invite everyone to hang out. It's not like he has a shitty family life, and his mother was actually pretty sweet, always cooking delicious meals for them whenever they visit the teen, and he didn't think that he has problems on money. So, he is pretty worried why he would always insist to leave early these past weeks, even missing out on their weekly party two times in a row.
"Don't worry about him. Maybe he is just busy with things at home."
The others noticed that Nakagoshi's words seemed like a reassurance for himself rather, but they didn't comment on it. Even the 3rd years had noticed the kind of sullen atmosphere within the 2nd and 1st years but decided not to meddle.
"Are we still going?"
One of the 2nd years decided to break the ice and it was a minute of silent before Nakagoshi went back to his bright attitude, cheering with glee as he beckoned the others.
"Yeah, we are! Let's go!"
...
"That was awesome, Fujio-san!"
"Right?! I'm awesome, right?!"
"Yeah!!"
"Don't pamper him, Nakaoka. His head is already bigger than it is."
"Hah?! What did you say?!"
As per usual, the Oya High full-time students, mainly the faction heads were hanging out after being in a fight with another school who tried to take them on again but failed.
And of course, aside from Nakagoshi, Nakaoka also looks up to their senior and leader, Hanaoka Fujio. He would always compliment the older teen which makes the latter raise his chest with a proud huff, doing things to impress his juniors which will also makes the other 3rd years roll their eyes.
"Ahh I'm hungry!"
Now clutching his stomach, Fujio complained, and Tsukasa chuckled. Even the others agreed. Of course, after a fight, food will always be what's next for growing teens like them. With this, they began suggesting places they knew, and arguments had started. Some, especially Yasushi and Fujio wanted ramen, Kiyoshi wanted Ice Cream which earned a lot of questioning looks, Tsuji and Shibaman craved for desserts like cake, Todoroki just stayed quiet, Tsukasa quietly wanted steam buns, and Jamuo argued for monjayaki, while the ChunChun faction surprisingly all wanted Yakisoba.
Despite their rocky start, surprisingly, they mostly hang out to eat after their fights. That would mean all faction heads and some of their buddies. Even Todoroki would join occasionally without a protest which is the most surprising of all, but they weren't complaining. They can't be bothered to fight with each other when they're tired and hungry.
While the others were arguing, Nakagoshi noticed how Nakaoka would constantly look at his phone which made him frown. He had a feeling that the young one will again try to leave them, so he put a hand around Nakaoka with a look.
"Not trying to leave early again, aren't ya?"
Nakaoka just chuckled in nervousness and all eyes were on him. Certainly, all of them were aware of Nakaoka's odd behavior of leaving early and Yasushi decided to speak up, too curious with what's going on. In contrary to his looks, he can be a bit nosey if he wanted.
"You're not up to something shady, are you?"
"What? Of course not!"
"Then why do you always leave early?"
Nakagoshi had finally asked the teen and Nakaoka just scratched his head with a defeated sigh. Not knowing what to say, he avoided their looks with a nervous laugh.
"Well....."
"Sho-chan?"
A feminine voice stated which made them, especially Nakaoka whip his head to the voice's direction and saw a familiar face. The figure then approached him, suddenly holding his face with a frown which shocked the others and made Nakaoka embarrassed that his cheeks turned pink.
"Did you fight again?! Your face is bruised!"
A girl, fair skinned, her hair short and wavy with a distinguished strawberry blonde color, and a pretty face, a couple inches smaller than Nakaoka who's currently scolding him had caught the teenagers' attention.
But what surprised them the most was Nakaoka's words. Removing her hands from his face with an embarrassed look, he protested with a whine.
"Stop it Nee-chan, it's embarrassing!"
"Ehh?!!"
"Nee-chan?!!"
They never knew he had a sister, although some might have like Nakagoshi, he never saw her so even he was shocked. She is undeniably pretty, and shares similar features with Nakaoka, although more feminine.
With their loud reactions, she finally realized that Nakaoka had some-- well not some but a lot of companions so she was also surprised but immediately composed herself with a smile.
"Are they your friends? It's nice to meet ya' kids! I'm Sho-chan's big sister, just call me Akane."
She introduced herself while Nakaoka carried the box she was carrying earlier with a grunt. Totally not ready to meet his sister in a situation like this, especially when he's gone to a fight earlier and has bruises all over. He never liked to worry his big sister.
They Oya full timers also responded and introduced themselves with enthusiasm, while some suddenly went shy, just like Kiyoshi. When it was Nakagoshi's turn, Akane suddenly perked up at the mention of his name and patted the teen on his head.
"So, you're Nakagoshi huh. Thanks for looking out for my baby brother!"
"Nee-san! Stop calling me that!"
Her little endearment made him embarrassed while the others laughed at his reddening ears. His tough facade would be diminished if this continues. Even Nakagoshi chuckled in amusement.
"What are you doing here anyway? What's in here?"
He decided to change the topic before he'll lose his dignity completely. Not wanting them to see him completely being babied by his sister which Akane had always done. Despite being the leader of the first years, he is still one of the youngest in Oya, even among most of the first years that most would still sometimes treat him like a kid, especially Nakagoshi and some of the 3rd years. Particularly and surprisingly, Tsukasa and the duo, Shibaman and Tsuji. Tsukasa and occasionally Fujio would always look out for him in fights aside from Nakagoshi when he is surrounded by a lot of enemies and the duo from Todoroki's faction liked his style and taste in music that they would lend him CDs and records.
Shaking the box, he asked his sister to which she replied with a grin.
"I'm just dropping some stuff at the diner."
Nakaoka nodded and was about to say something again when they heard a tummy rumble. Like actually rumble so loud that they all heard it. Looking at their leader, he just grinned while scratching his head in embarrassment.
"Well, how about this. You kids hungry? Sho-chan why don't you invite your friends and have some dinner at the diner? It would be a good opportunity for feedbacks you know so I know what to adjust before the opening."
Akane offered and Nakaoka was taken aback at first but in the end, relented. Actually, excited to invite them to try out his sister's cooking.
"What do you say guys?!"
"Hell yeah!"
...
"So, this is why you always leave early. You could've said so and we could have helped ya' dumbass."
Nakagoshi playfully punched Nakaoka's shoulders while the latter shyly let out a smile. The reason why he's always eager to go home was because he was helping out his sister in remodeling an old bar into a diner. His sister, the reason why nobody had ever met her was because she was studying college abroad, and upon finishing college a year ago, she recently came back and decided to open up a diner. Truthfully, Nakaoka's household were known for their cooking skills, even Nakaoka knew how to cook variety of dishes that sometimes he lets Nakagoshi and the others taste his made-up recipes and they would always end up good.
"It's fine Nakagoshi-san. Besides, I originally wanted to invite you and the others when Nee-chan had her opening, but I guess change of plans. Sorry for not telling you."
Nakaoka may love fighting and hiphop but his sister is special to him. Ever since they were kids, she would always protect him from those who will pick on him because he was shorter than the others way back then. It was a good thing that puberty hit him, and he's gotten taller. She was also the one to teach him how to cook when he reached middle school before she went abroad. It was because she liked to send him CDs that caught her attention that he got introduced to hiphop and began to love it. He learned everything because of his sister, especially that she was the one who taught him how to fight. That's why now that his sister is back, he wanted to be there for her like she always had been for him. Especially now that she is starting to build her dream of owning her own restaurant diner.
"It's fine. We're thankful though. Your sister is very kind to invite us all and let us be her first costumers for free."
"Yeah! And she's pretty too!"
"Oi! Don't push it!"
They playfully bantered while Nakaoka excused himself to help his sister in preparing the large batch of cuisines for his hungry friends. Upon reaching the kitchen, he smiled when he saw how excited his sister were as she prepared the dishes. She always liked to cook for others, saying that nothing can make her happier but to see someone smiling and saying 'delicious' to the food that she makes.
"They're rowdy but they're good guys. Sometimes."
Nakaoka stated which made Akane laugh, not bothered by the group of teens bickering inside her diner. In fact, she is actually glad that her baby brother got himself a lot of friends, even if they are obviously delinquents. She didn't like it at first when Nakaoka got himself involved in fighting, but she accepted as long as he didn't get himself in deep trouble and remember his morals. That even if you use your fists, it isn't to intentionally hurt people but to protect. Never fight dirty and know your limits. And Akane could see how they weren't just some punks who likes to fight just to seek pure pleasure in hurting others, but instead, they still have a heart while acting tough on the outside. Nakaoka likes to tell her stories about his friends and his life in Oya High and she likes to listen to his stories.
"I can see that."
The two siblings continued their work, unbeknownst to them, the others could hear their laughter which made them, especially Nakagoshi smile.

Let's be serious, If you were in high and low which gang would you part of based on your personality ? And how long would you survive?
As , for me I think I will be a part of "oya high" because I am quite young and I often get in fight (just can't tolerate shit people) .I will part of a part of todoroki faction because I feel like they not normally but better than others. I don't think I will be able to tolerate yasushi and kiyoshi not hating on them but I feel like they are kinda toooo loud .
As for survival I will survive pretty long I think because come on I am a TRAINED boxer ( I trained for 2 years ) and I also played volleyball for quite some time and my hands are pretty strong. The biggest reason I think I will survive because I have gotten in fights wither it's one or one or a gang fight.
@simpforchuchu @high-and-low-all-the-way please write about your views too .

"After the housen fight"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
poly todoroki faction<3
warning: injuries and wounds, panic attacks, kinda angsty(?) If you think about it but fluffy ending dw
Todoroki never really took the time to really learn how to treat and clean wounds properly since it was just his wounds, and his wounds were nothing major, so why would he bother? Well, now he has two boyfriends that have little to no self care, and for todoroki, it's very frustrating to see his boyfriends like that.
Call todoroki a hypocrite, but what do you expect a child that has practically been neglected by his parents. (It's my hc leave me alone)
Todo just can't stand it they get hurt, and sure, he has a few bruises and wounds who cares?(well tsuji and shibaman do), but when it comes to them no. Nuh uh every single wound and bruise must be iced or treated and cleaned, so todoroki stayed up all night to watch videos and do research on how to clean up wounds professionally, and practiced some on his self to make sure that it would not just add up to his boyfriends' pain or injuries.
And now here they are...
"Of all the housen students that were there, you literally had pick the biggest of all of them" todoroki scolded them while checking on tsuji for further injuries since he was literally smashed down to wooden crate.
"We didn't pick the fight todo the fight picked us" tsuji retaliated but it was muffled since he was laying face down on todoroki's bed, Shiba laughed in agreement but was met with todoroki's glare.
"What if murayama didn't come to break up the fight? or if that housen informant didn't come to say that it wasn't us? huh?" Todoroki overthinked.
Todoroki was having one of his panic attacks and Shiba could clearly see it, his hands were shaking, his breathe getting more and more shallow, there were tears already pooling in todoroki's eyes that threatened to spill any time.
Shiba forced himself up to go to todoroki and wrapped around his arms around his waist from behind then started kissing todo's shoulder blades and nape from behind, tsuji also forced his self up and hugged todoroki from the front.
The tears that pooled in todoroki's eyes finally fell and landed on tsuji's shoulder.
Todoroki hated it. He was supposed to be taking care of his boyfriends, not the other way around.
There weren't a lot of things that Shiba and tsuji hated but they really hate. No they LOATHED every time todoroki would force his self to be okay when he is not, they hate how even they're in relationship now todoroki still thinks that him being vulnerable would put them off, they hated how todoroki thinks that any time they would leave him, they hated his parents if they could they wanted to punch the living daylights out of them
"It's fine, I'm fine now," todoroki forced himself to say, but the quiver and vulnerability were still clear in his voice.
"Sshhh, it's fine, yosuke, cry all you want, scream all you want, be angry, be sad, we don't care me and Shiba will always be with you," tsuji comforted todoroki.
"But your injuries they need to be treated -" todoroki was cut off. "Yosuke they can be treated later when you're in better state" Shiba was now the one that comforted him, todoroki can do nothing but nod as he is sandwiched between his boyfriends, and he was starting to get mentally tired.
Then finally tsuji felt todoroki relaxed in their hold and leaned more onto his shoulders as he felt more tears drop down onto it, him and Shiba made eye contact and mentally agreed to hold their boyfriend tighter, to not only to make him feel more safe but to also give him assurance that they weren't going anywhere without him any time soon.

Tumblr media
• No one cared much when Jamuo excitedly announced that a new student was transferring to first grade this term.
• But when they heard that this person was a s girl, they all reacted the same way...
•  SHOUTS IN SHOCK...
•  Third graders Todoroki and Tsukasa were quite worried about a young girl joining Oya.  And already thinking how to protect her.
•  While Tsuji&Shibaman duo and Fujio were excited that it would be quite interesting, the YasuKiyo duo was wondering if she could fight.
•  NakaNaka duo and Jamuo were nodding their heads listening to their senpai.
•  On the first day of the next week, as Tsukasa and Jamuo were climbing the stairs to the roof, they heard voices from a classroom they were passing. When they walked in and looked, they heard a girl muttering, looking at the boys on the floor with disgust.Jamuo was still staring at the girl in surprise when Tsukasa called out, thinking it might be the new student.
• "Are you the new student?"
• She looked at the door in surprise and saw Tsukasa staring at her with a straight expression. She picked up her bag from the floor and nodded her head.
• "Did you beat them all?"
• When the young girl nodded her head again, Tsukasa asked why. He sighed when he learned that the young girl had beaten them because they had laughed at her and made fun of her by saying she couldn't study here.
• "You shouldn't start a fight without even knowing who they are, it could be dangerous for you."
• Y/n nodded, guessing that this person was one of the 3rd graders.
• "Hai, senpai!"
•  When Tsukasa told the young girl to come with him and introduce her to the others, she followed him and they went up to the roof.
•  Yes, everyone was confused for a while...
•  -Except Todoroki, he's as cool as ever-
•  To look like a cool leader, Fujio calmly cleared his throat and approached the young girl who was looking around with puppy eyes.
•  - yes y/n was pretty excited too -
•  "Hanaoka Fujio, I'm the leader of Oya High."
• Fujio could swear he saw hearts in the girl's eyes
•  "Huh?! Hanaoka-san ? Senpai, you are a legend."
•  YES, NOW FUJIO IS VERY EXCITED AND HAPPY TOO
• Surely they will both shout excitedly for a while and the others will watch what is going on...
•  Tsukasa now knew he had to stop them, and he did.
•  "Takajo Tsukasa, Im also 3rd grade."
• "Tsukasa? Now I understand why you're popular with girls. You're really handsome."
•  Tsukasa shook his head laughing
• "Oi! I'm your senpai."
•  "Hai!"
•  After the young girl met everyone, Tsukasa mentioned for a while that y/n got into a fight as soon as she arrived.Although this caused chaos for a while, Fujio was now sure of what he was thinking.
•  "If Y/n-chan joins a faction, it keeps her safe. That's why she's joining the Todoroki Faction."
•  "Huh?!!
• Yes, all three had the same reaction.
•  "He looks scary" y/n says in a low voice and Fujio will whisper too "Yeah I know but I'm sure you'll love him"
•  Okay, Todoroki definitely didn't want her around at thebeginning. He was worried about her safety and didn't like having her chase after him like a puppy.
•  -Or he acted like he didn't like it...-
•  She became like a little sister to them all in a short time.
•  OYA BOYS AS ONII-CHANS 🥺🥺
•  Even though Todoroki Faction, especially ChunChun duo became her best friends
•  Oya's baby faction has always helped her.  And I think that they often eat and play together..
•  And no, no one can flirt with her.No man deserves her. They are very strict about it.
•  I believe Tsukasa will be a sweet senpai.  Although she enthusiastically chases after Fujio with her admiration, Tsukasa will always stop them as the 2nd Brain of the school...
•  -Except when they went to Suzuran together.  Tsukasa didn't know this, and if he did, he certainly wouldn't let this happen-
•  When they found out that she came out of Suzuran unscathed - fujio had minor injuries but he didn't let them touch her - they were scolded for a really long time
•  Yes, her beloved leader was also scolded.
•  Fujio's frequent "Y/n-chaan!" 😍
• I believe he will call her cutely and enjoy talking to her.
•  Jamuo will inform her about the gangs around
•  In fact, not only Fujio, but also Suzuran and Housen, whom she went with her dear leader, will be her friends.
•  I think all Suzuran found her quite cute.
• - Binzo and Magoroku prefer her to come over Fujio...
•  She's one of the few people who makes Sachio smile, and he likes the way she gets along with his sister.
•  Of the other schools, I think she'll be the closest to Yuken and Binzo. But everyone is a little hesitant about Binzo.Because they both too hyperactive...
•  Ohh, when they went to Suzuran, it pissed off Todoroki the most.
•  Todoroki has been pretty protective ever since she joined him.Although he found her annoying at first, he got used to it over time and sometimes misses her annoying him.
•  She can be the third wheel next to Tsuji and Shibaman, they don't mind. Tsuji lets her dye his hair and he will dye her hair for the first time too...
•  Todoroki knows she can protect herself, so it's okay for her to come to fights. And he's proud of her for getting stronger over time.
•  Yes, he doesn't show his love very much, but she got a few headpats from him...
•  I think she will have a lot of fun with YasuKiyo duo. They often go to arcades together and sometimes they sneak her into fights.
•  -of course, todoroki gets pretty angry every time they come back-
•  She is someone who is highly cared by everyone and a little spoiled...  I think she brings them together more...
•  She was on the bus with Tsuji and Shibaman when the big fight happened.  When Raijin gets on the bus, Tsuji will notice this and ask her to stay in the bus.
•  They know they are too crowded. Even if she doesn't want to admit it, Shibaman will convince her and ask her to find help.
•  It was very sad to see them badly injured when she came back, but when she returned to Oya it was a little scary to see everyone injured...
•  After the events are over, she will feel that everyone is even more connected to each other.
• Oh and she is definitely going to the party with the boys.
• The Girls High party...
• We know Todoroki found the card and he will definitely need a matchmaker.
•  I told you they don't even let a man come near her, right? What if that man has already won her heart and it's Ebara's Sameoka Shoji...
•  When they find out, only chaos will be in Oya...
•  Especially Todoroki Faction will make this a huge problem :/
•  Come on... They put Tsuji and Shibaman in the hospital...
•  Even if they struggle for a while, Todoroki and the duo will accept it after everyone else...
•  Of course, they will mess with each other at every opportunity, and Shoji should what his back at his slightest mistake 😌
•  What if it's a different scenario... What if they found out that you actually like girls?
•  All of them are totally okay with that.
•  They just want you to be happy.
• So if you like someone, I believe they will all help you - at least they will try - and oh sure...
• no homophobic person can upset you... they will kill them.

thoughts on if suzaki somehow got adopted by oya????
i see him more as a suzuran guy i don’t actually think he’d fit into oya well unless he was having a Real Serious mental breakdown and they were the ones to help him out of it lol. i can see him being friends with at least fujio though and he knows that if anything happens to him at senomon he’ll have a safe place at oya
i have headcanons though 😭
oya!suzaki:
first he and amagai are Done in this scenario. they’ve split, it’s over. suzaki hates the way they went out, but what can he really do? where will he ever be wanted and needed again?
oya heard about it from their silly little intel guy and it’s just not right. no matter how they individually feel about senomon’s guard dog, he doesn’t deserve to be thrown out with the trash, not after everything he did for amagai. it’s this that drives fujio to extending a hand out for him.
did i mention suzaki would look hot as fuck in black? anyways.
a lot of the oya guys are probably pretty mistrustful of him. i mean, as expected, he did play an active role in abducting and almost killing their #2. i like to imagine fujio would trust him and prompt the others to treat him nicely which nobody really takes kindly to. it’s because of this that fujio might be the only person he’s willing to speak to properly. things do improve with time of course
strangely, of all people, tsukasa is quite fond of him. he’ll make conversation with suzaki too but suzaki is soooo awkward with him because of the aforementioned kidnapping thing
we saw in the movie that suzaki is Strong, like a one-man army, 3-on-1 kinda strong. having him definitely elevates oya’s fighting prowess. he’s a lot like the hope hill guys in the sense that from a very young age he’s had to learn to fight for himself and win a place away from the bottom to survive. without having to protect a useless crybaby, his full potential is unlocked and he essentially displaces fujio at the top. i mean did we watch the same movie? he took on todoroki and odajima at the same time and still had the ability to go against fujio and probably would’ve won if the power of friendship was on his side… or if amagai’s irritating ass didn’t wake the dead
he doesn’t replace fujio as the leader. his experiences with senomon and amagai have built immense loyalty within himself and this loyalty has projected onto fujio now. at his core, suzaki is built to serve and protect. he’ll protect fujio with all he has because fujio was kind to him when no one else was. he helps in defending fujio’s place, never steps beyond that
he doesn’t officially join any factions, he has a hard time with people and everyone’s still kinda scared of him. he mostly works alone and corresponds with fujio. still, despite not having anything to defend but himself, he’s always at the beck and call of tsukasa faction
speaking of todoroki he and suzaki do Not get along. their personalities just clash horribly but rather than conflict, the two just ignore each other unless they need to work together. i think they’d probably have some level of respect for each other and honestly they’re probably more alike than they believe themselves.
suzaki would look so good in black
hm… he’s also strangely nice to jamuo. jamuo is terrified of him but i think suzaki would find him quite interesting. he was never much of an intel guy, that was saboten’s job in senomon and he sucked at it, only ever really able to force information out through beating people up. he’ll absolutely defend jamuo from the people who like picking on him
when amagai actually does find out what suzaki’s been up to, he’s furious of course. but he doesn’t have his guard dog anymore and he’s just stuck with the absolutely useless senomon high students. amagai would absolutely feel like oya stole what’s his, even if he was the one to throw suzaki out in the first place. against what is probably smart, amagai goes directly to oya to find suzaki and confront him and take him back because suzaki was supposed to be a stray dog he wasn’t supposed to move on. amagai can’t stand that.
when he reaches oya, i think yasukiyo would be the ones to greet him 🤔 with a punch to the face. tsukasa handles amagai’s intrusion, telling him to get out before they show him what they do to intruders on their home turf. amagai demands to see suzaki but suzaki won't see him, hiding away within earshot. amagai calls him a coward and tells him it’s not over and that he’ll get back at suzaki somehow. i think oya would probably have their big realisation of what suzaki’s been through at that moment, listening to the way amagai speaks to him and threatens him, seeing the genuine sickness and fear on suzaki’s expression. suddenly, the guard dog looks more like an abandoned puppy.
he does come out as amagai leaves, telling him to leave oya alone. the people standing close to him can see the unbreakable suzaki ryo shake, can see how scared he is, but he defends fujio against the person who scarred him anyways
after that he gets along better with oya, they realise that despite their past, despite everything, suzaki’s loyalty rests with them
you know what? i said i didn’t see the vision so idk how i wrote this much and now i’ve low key kinda convinced myself? 😭 anyways i hope this is satisfactory!

so here's the scenario:
Izuku Midoriya, a young lad whose father passed at sea, is the apprentice to a local mapmaker. One day, while the master's away, a man who seems to tower over any other, haggard and booming, crashes in through the door, demanding a map.
When he sees that Izuku's the only one in the entire business, quite a lot of bravado leaves him, and he deflates into this raggedy older man. He explains that he wishes to leave in three days time to the Southern Seas, and he would also like to hire Izuku as his navigator.
Izuku, feeling a spark of adventure, decides to accept, completely forgetting to mention he isn't actually a mapmaker yet. However, he IS very good at reading and interpreting maps, and that's half the job right there.
Izuku is then tasked to take care of a few essential roles on the voyage: food, entertainment, and, most importantly, money. The mysterious man shall take care of the rest. So, as Izuku wanders through the marketplace wondering where he could possibly find a financier, in walks Shouto Todoroki, the youngest son of a very wealthy nobleman and the current heir after a series of various incidents.
Shouto Todoroki, for quite some time now, has been crushing on the mapmaker's apprentice, you see, and upon hearing that he needs a large sum of money, he immediately offers to find staff positions for Izuku's voyage himself, and he shall personally come to oversee the voyage he's investing in. In this way, he hires Katsuki Bakugou the cook, Eijirou Kirishima the butcher, Hanta Sero the carpenter, Mina Ashido the barber-surgeon, and two tavern musicians by the names of Denki Kaminari and Kyouka Jirou. The rest of the staff is hired by the mysterious man, who assumes the role of captain.
The deadline does approach, and the ship has a crew of at least twenty strong, but by the orders of Enji Todoroki, Shouto's father, Shouto's betrothed, Momo Yaoyorozu, is to join the voyage, as a reminder to Shouto that he must return and not "run off to sea and a life of debauchery" as his eldest brother certainly had done before perishing. Still, the ship departs for the south.
Naturally, there is some bonding between Izuku and the older man. It's quite a long time, traveling the ocean by ship, and Izuku comes to see him as a father figure - his real father, Hisashi Midoriya, had been murdered by pirates at sea, and Izuku's hated pirates ever since.
However, soon, Izuku's crew is beset by two separate rival pirate factions - one helmed by Tomura Shigaraki, who aims to become the next Dread Pirate of the Southern Seas; the other helmed by Neito Monoma's crew, who mutinied against their old captain a year back and have become a sort of Robin Hood-type crew. After the second one, the captain comes clean to Izuku: he is actually the Great Pirate All Might, Scourge of the Northern Seas, who lost his entire crew following the long and bitter fight with the Dread Pirate All for One, of the Southern Seas.
Naturally, Izuku sort of blows up, and declares that this must be a betrayal - he had thought of All Might as a sort of replacement father, and his own blood father had CERTAINLY been a good man. Then comes the reveal that All Might's old captain, before he had become the Great Pirate All Might, had been none other than Dread Pirate "Fire-Breathing" Hisashi Midoriya, Terror of the Northern Seas. In fact, they're on a treasure hunt right now for Hisashi Midoriya's last greatest treasure, thought to have been lost in the territory war with All for One.
Will Izuku come around to the pirate lifestyle, especially when a grand majority of the crew are pirates themselves? Will Shouto gain the courage to call off his arranged marriage (certainly with no love lost) and pursue his romance on the high seas? Will All Might get the Lost Treasure of "Fire-Breathing" Hisashi? And what of the rival crews - and the naval vessel commanded by the mysterious Lieutenant Aizawa?

A brother's secret is another's nightmare
Tumblr media
A little note before we get into the actual fic, I am not the best at writing, my spelling is shit (thanks dyslexia) and I have the mouth of a sailor.. Also, I will probobly end up with veryyyy Out of Character Yasushi and Binzo but it's whatever 🤷🏻‍♂ hopefully you enjoy it non the less.
Sumary: Binzo's secret twin brother who no one really knows about is friends with Oya, and gets set up on a blind date with his crush by said crush's bestie and eventually all chaos ensues, ala high and low's typical fashion
Warnings: Extreamly terrible writing, swearing, its a high and low fic so violence and language are kinda inevitable. I use a random name i got from google for the main character, please don't be mad lol
______________
Binzo has always been fiercely protective of his secret twin brother, that much was for sure...But the twin knew that his brother would be so absorbed in his affairs with the Suzuran's Raho faction, he will never find out about his own hidden life, right?
The young teen boy, Binzo's secret brother named Yuri had long stayed a secret, his brother knew everything about him and wanted to protect the fragile seeming boy, but because of his position in the Raho faction at Suzuran, he had not been around as often, and getting bored easily, Yuri took to making friends with other boys his age, one being Fujio of Oya and then the others of oya too. Two boys in particular became close to him, Kyoshi and Yasushi, becoming inseparable as a trio, and soon enough the ladder of the two found himself crushing on the mysterious boy, named Yuri.
His brother thought him to hide who he was related to well, so he knew being anywhere near Oya as a rival's brother would not work well, but when he was with them, he didn't even remember who his brother was, or the school he attended. He simply was him and falling hard for Yasushi...which considering Kyoshi knew pretty much everything about his partner in crime, fellow chaos gremlin and brother from another mother, he knew both boys had fallen for each other over the span of a few months. Todoroki and the others soon would grow annoyed with the two trying to flirt but backing away with it as if the other wasn't just as shamelessly in love with them too. Kyoshi planned with Jamuo to set up the head strong couple on a blind date, one where you would think nothing could go wrong, fool proof in the eyes of the excited Oya gang's most excited.
Yuri approaches a beautiful cherry blossom tree, one by a body of water that glimmered in the light, a little garden with a pond that had frogs singing softly through the warm breeze. Yasushi had followed a lit path to a blanket, soon meeting up for what both boys had thought was a group hang out, though it seemed fancy in the eyes of the two but none the less brushed off as an attempt at a high school friend night that was made to be affordable but still look nice.
"Are we the only ones showing?" Yuri breaks the silence of the shy couple after reading a simple text from Jamuo to have 'fun' on 'the date'..
"It appears to be that way.. but they are missing out on some really good food!" The blonde who tends to seem sour to untrained friend eyes said to the other teen, his dark red dyed hair shone like a dim and dark halo. "But I think we were just set up... On what would be called a blind date." The chuckle Yasushi let fall from his slightly chapped lips causing butterflies to fall into Yuri's stomach as he swept dark red velvet locks from his face with a bobby pin that he always carried with him.
As the two teens one oya, one secret suzuraun spoke softly, blushing, laughing and behaving like a couple, another teen, also from Suzuraun looked on in disbelief, he knew his twin had tried to follow his orders, protecting Yuri from being a target for opposing school gangs, but he had no clue his younger by five minuets brother was friends with Oya. But he knew he would be able to handle himself in a fight, taught by Binzo himself to survive one if absolutely needed. He left not thinking much of it, and missed something in the distance that would for sure have caused his blood to boil, maybe even start an all out war between schools.
"Yuri, I really really like you. As more than a friend. And tonight was wonderful, we both needed it more than I thought, away from everyone else, away from the chaos for a few hours. Will you be my boyfriend officially?" This seemed like the first time Yasushi had ever been so anxious, not something he did often, and of course his heart in his ears made him worry that the other boy could hear his pulse loud and clear in the soft moonlight.
"Of course 'Shi, I love you with all my heart, I have for a while now. As silly as it sounds, my worries of it being one sided only are just subsiding, I am glad you like me too." Red velvet hair tickled the blonde's face as the secret twin of Binzo leaned in and kissed a rival of his own twin, blood rushing adrenaline through him as he did, now his boyfriend, and he knew this would have to be his one and only best kept secret from his protective zombie fighter of a brother. The kiss sent both boys off into the world of bliss, hands intertwining with a delicate care, love the only emotion surging through the crisp spring nightfall air.
A couple attached at the hip was now a common sight at Oya, and though no one other than Kyoshi said it, they were all glad the two had finally gotten together, Todoroki himself seemed to let out a breath of relief when he laid eyes on the hands holding onto one another that belonged to Yasushi and Yuri, though he kept it to himself, he knew it would balance the energy of the erratic blonde before him.
Not too long later, Oya and Suzuraun united to fight, and while Yuri had stayed out of it all, he had rushed to pack a big duffle bag of first aid, knowing that his love would be battered pretty well, and the last time it had happened, the dark red haired boy had let his sobs free, his fear as he kissed his lover's lips and tried to be ever gentle with him, causing him to vow he would always come through with as much as he could to help him from then on after a particularly hard battle.
Long forgotten were the thoughts about his brother having been dispelled from his mind, not thinking he would be there as he rushed to where he knew his darling blonde devilish angel would be, the fight had clearly been over, bodies groaning in pain on the ground, the boy carefully stepping to avoid them but looking for a mop of blonde hair tied up on one side into small braids that only went half way down the side of his head, cascading into a soft flow of sandy clouds.
"YASUSHI!!" Yuri scurries to his partner, opening the bag he brought and pulling him to sit by him on a stack of mats he had formed in the gym to help be more comfortable for the other. "Fucking hell, you look like you got the shit beat out of you with a fucking iron fist darling." Pouts the hidden twin, his frown making his adoring boyfriend let out a pained chuckle as he holds his middle, "I am ok baby boy, just a little run down, nothing I can't handle." Yasushi promises, missing Binzo having an alarmed look on his face as he sees his brother patching up an oya, the same one he was with months earlier in the garden, and then to his horror kissing Yasushi, being careful of the split lip and blood drying on in flaky cakes of smeared crimson. "Babe, you had previous injuries, its only natural I worry." Yuri sighs, remembering the fear he felt when he saw a haggard Kyoshi and a not much better Yasushi.
"WHAT IN THE FUCK IS THIS MIYAUCHI YURI?!?!" Binzo roars, causing his twin to jump and all of the occupants of the gym to fall silent, non of them expecting a relative to Binzo in their midst.
"You said you wanted no one to know we were twins right? This was me being not your twin, blending in and falling hopelessly in love with my boyfriend." Yuri says, anger laced in his tone that his brother would dare cause a scene, especially while he was tending to wounds of someone from the fight. "Wait-wait wait..."Tusksaka sais, befuddled by the sudden commotion that all were watching with pure shock, "Yuri is your twin? Heads up, Yasushi and Yuri have been dating for months, sooooo um... yeah, they are together and you will have to buck it up. We all love your brother, and he too is friends with Fujio, much like Raho himself."
"HOW DID WE NOT KNOW HE HAD A TWIN??" Mercy says, he sounded alarmed, surprised and at the same time impressed as his voice cut through the thick tension that hung upon the air, like a thick blanket in winter.
"I had him keep it hidden to protect him, told him to act normal because I didn't want him a target, but I also taught him to fight for emergencies, he has a mean right hand hook, I have to say. But I worried he would be a target, one that could be avoided, so I hid him...Had I known about this...."Binzo feels the air deflate from his lungs, letting out a sigh, "Hurt my brother and you will have to pay."
Yuri hears his twin grumble as he walks away, hand running though his crazy hair, his signiture look of his own.
"Sorry you had to find out like this and see him blow up." Yuri whispers, laying his head on Yasushi's shoulder as he felt his partner wrap his slender arm around his waist, something the two often did on Oya's rooftop on a sunny day.
"All that matters is that I love you." Yasushi says softly, breaking his normal tough guy act long enough to kiss his head and then glare at the crowd, "What the hell do you all think ya are fucking looking at??"
This was only the start of something bigger, a love for the ages.
A/N: Soooo.... first high and low fic in the books.. I hope it was ok, but I am super proud of it because I don't Know if I have ever willingly written something so long before in my life. I apologize for all of the out of character moments, but I just felt the need for fluffy goodness with a small pinch of angst.
