Locations in The Lost Prince - Kuzgrad
When we pass the tall iron gates of Kuzgrad, I am filled with that once familiar feeling of foreboding. It is the old chill that had always awaited me at the Imperial Palace, a reminder of the ghosts that once inhabited this place. I stifle a shiver as I step from the car, looking up at the old, craggy grey face of the ancient building, unable to throw off the sense of being surveyed from the empty windows. But this place is not the Imperial Palace, a sprawl of Vasily might, no this place is darker and far more ancient, the very stones embedded with their blood, their dead, their essence. This place is older than all of the places I have ever or could ever known put together.

But there is no name for the little palace at sits in his shadow. It has had a hundred in the last thousand years but none of them have last the course. Veins of crumbling cobbled walls betray its ancient roots against the smooth skin of modern, smoothed facades. Turrets rise straight as lances, onion-capped and bearded with ivy. Blind gargoyles and fanciful beasts preside overhead, spotted with lichen and webbed with frost. The windows are still in their frames, the diamond panes yellowed with age.

Less a palace and more a house. Grandpapa always gently corrected me when I called this place a palace. Father would gruffly remind me that palaces were our vast homes in Bevulsk, Corzberg, Kosken, Derm, the Imperial Palace and Tamolasyn. Kuzgrad was merely a large manor estate compared to them.
A pair of stone wolves flank the door, watchful and blind. The door is ajar, cracked open a span of mere inches.
The shriek of the hinges sends a judder up my arm. Light brushes across the dust-coated floor, falling on the indents of fresh footprints made hours ago. The windows have been clumsily boarded up, the light fixtures and frames on the wall draped with ragged sheets. Nothing has been removed, only hidden from prying eyes.

Sorry for the bother, but are you able to explain the general changes between Lunium and the original Danganmon? I assume the whole killing game aspect has been removed, but I am curious as to what to expect from the new stuff! :D
no bother here! There is a bit but i can try to list some changes
- no killing games, ultimates, or other references to DR or DGM
- previous gijinka explanation is retconned. current explanation is deliberately left ambigious.
- several personality and design changes. backstories have been altered if necessary.
- split-face's entire role has changed (yes they are still here and they are WILDLY different)
- story is more of a slice-of-life with the occasional mystery and "what the fuck" thrown in. the plot is very loose since theres technically several plots going on at the same time, but the primary one follows Kami, Snom, Zelos, and Robin.
- in general the whole thing is really different from the DGM series, really the only thing being the same is that its in the pokemon world and the characters are the same.
'n yeah thats the major stuff! generally assume information retconned unless evidence suggests otherwise ^_^

anyway your skykid variant on-the-spot worldbuilding has infected me with Ideas Help
like I can imagine prairie skids being nearly always surrounded by birds and butterflies and mantas, both the ones they keep as pets and also just the ones in the area that came to say hi. also,,, fluffy,, best thing
forest skids are an Aesthetic like,,, just hanging out in the rain and vibing, very in tune with the environment and the other skids around them, but content to listen and watch… HhHHH
i‘d imagine their light to be cooler, maybe—more gentle, and their features to on average be softer
valley skids be here with five wedges upon birth smh—jealous. anyway I love that idea of them just being stocked up on light and really good at flying. Auuugh and I am SO WEAK for tails. are they like—bird tails, or something else? personally i‘m imagining slim and long tails covered in soft down feathers with a kind of tuft kinda arrangement of longer tail feathers at the end because tufted tails my beloved. also I can imagine that description of them ‘falling hard’ as getting krilled and losing like 20 lights. rip
meanwhile wasteland skids are so cool, like little almost-horns on some of them?? 🥺 love that and like I can imagine one guiding a moth to safety and shielding them from being found by a krill—and like I don’t know what to say these are all cool!!
with how skids are I would Not be surprised if at least one didn’t manage to be born in vault at some point. Starlight desert’s a thing based on the final tlp quest but im just imagining a just-about-to-be-born skid crashing through a wall in vault and startling the heck out of the skids already in the area. oooogh what if they had like silver light like the stars in the vault and constellation markings on their skin that sparkle in the light… aAUGH I don’t know!!! this is so cool to think about WHAT HAVE YOU DONe— /pos /pos

Forest sky kids makes all others wish they're immune to the rain because their very presences can make the rain something peaceful - like a morning shower for the plants. Might be considered as the most beautiful kind of sky children despite being born in a dying forest ivhnodivbjvgsiogne
For the valley sky kids, I imagine that they have manta tails because you can find the manta call there. BUT YES, TAILS MY BELOVED using it to hug friends more I can't even-ugh.
Wasteland kids be like after getting hit by a krill: Hey, loser! You missed!
And holy mother of manta, your idea of vault sky children. QUICK SOMEONE DRAW SKY KIDS WITH CONSTELLATION MARKS THAT WOULD BE SO PRETTY AF.

The Lost Prince | The Perska Vadiya | WorldBuilding
Through the thousand years of Imperial rule, the Perska Vadiya stood guard. Formed from the most elite in the Imperial army, the Perska Vadiya was the honour every soldier aspired to reach. It was a brotherhood of five hundred, a close-knit and secret society serving the royal family as guardsmen, soldiers, generals and confidants, safeguarding the royal person and their secrets. For a thousand years, the Perska Vadiya defended and enforced the Vasily family rule over Vastia - until the Revolution.
Two hundred Perska Vadiya died with Prince Andrik during the failed peace talks. Betrayal came from within their own ranks, one of their former brothers, General Dehn, switching his allegiance from the royalist cause and making his own bid for power with the rebel leaders. Dehn was instrumental into bringing down the capital and the royal family. Under the attack, the remaining hundred Perska Vadiya broke and ran in the face of the approaching rebel army leaving the remaining members of the royal family and Palace undefended. Many royalists set the blame on the new policy of recruiting from soldiers of the lower classes. But most agree that the fault lay in the choice of sending all the experienced Perska Vadiya away to other royal strongholds on the assumption that no rebel army could breach the capital - they had not accounted for treachery.
Currently the remnants, some fifty Perska Vadiya, serves the Crown Prince Mikhail in exile.
Current Active Members
Captain Olterburg
The Commander of the Perska Vadiya, an old soldier serving the royal family for forty-six years. He gained command of the Perska Vadiya after the Revolution and has led it, past retirement age ever since. Gruff and proper, he's a welcome member of the Imperial set.
Lieutenant Zybrik
Zybrik is the second in command, the last Perska Vadiya to be trained by the traitor Dehn. At 25, he's the youngest lieutenant to serve in the Perska Vadiya. Despite his mentor and common background, Zybrik is a staunch supporter and fierce defender of his Prince.
Emil
Emil is third in command. He had been just inducted into the Perska Vadiya mere months before the Revolution broke out. Emil is the most empathetic Perska Vadiya, often chosen for more private and personal tasks.
Vladimir
Vladimir is one of the older Perska Vadiya. After the Revolution, he was offered honourable discharge on account of an injury to his eye but he refused. He is often mistaken to be cold and aloof but according to his brothers in the Perska Vadiya - he's hilarious. Nobody has seen this in practise.
Casimir
Casimir had joined the Perska Vadiya after the Revolution, one of the raw recruits brought in to bulk up the empty ranks. Casimir had been chosen mainly on account of his father and two brothers who had perished in the service of Prince Andrik.
Alsandr
The youngest of the remaining Perska Vadiya, two years older than Crown Prince Mikhail, which is why he tends to have trouble keeping His Imperial Highness in check. Generally considered to be the most amiable of the Perska Vadiya, he's nearly always calls on to attend the abrasive Grand Duke Sergei.
Kyril
Kyril also joined the Perska Vadiya post-Revolution. Kyril had been a common-born farm labourer before the Revolution but after brave action during the flight from Vastia, he was offered a place among the Perska Vadiya - mistakenly some say on account of his surname being mistaken for an aristocratic one. He was permitted to stay on due to his feverent monarchist loyalty and skill.

small thing but i added worldbuilding tags for my OC Worlds (nowhere train and the lunium project) including #nwt worldbuilding and #tlp worldbuilding
ive been kinda vague with them in the past but i think im closer to finalizing them worldbuilding wise so i encourage questions if interested!
I kinda wish i drew my OCs more but my once a week posting schedule is usually filled by whatever im interested in. so talking about them helps me get those vibes out!

To a degree yeah, probably altered to be a little less serious. I think everyone had interviews at some point to try and determine what they do and don't know about themselves

the non canon answer: i had ideas to make one of them, but they ended up never existing and honestly they were kind of boring. Ive brought back old OCs before though (blanca and axel) so never say never

this is for the dm prime, ee, and v3 casts. it's funny how despite being teens, most of the characters parents just. do not exist and they live alone in their homes or w/ someone else (probably paying taxes too lmao). so that reminds me:
who's parents are dead, who's parents just straight up dipped, who's parents are alive but they don't fuck w/ them anymore, and who actually lives with their parents?

helo! I was wondering with the new toyhouse links how would robin, snom, and kami hang out? bonus q if you don’t mind have you had any thoughts on how luniums school system works?
considering they all go to the same school, id imagine thats where they met. probably some study session and they all hit it off there
ive had thoughts abt the school system... mostly bases on USA school sorting (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, the works) because thats 1. Where i live and 2. Where lunium is.
as for the classes itself theres probably the core classes... math and history and sciences and stuff... but a good few classes are specialized for the students to hone in on their talents. Most of these are hosted by the adults of Lunium who need the extra money... it's a point of contention about whether or not this works as planned. These try to overlap as much as possible to save space and money, for example, there might be a botany class that kami fry and tulip all take.
It is extremely difficult to take a specialized class outside of one's given talent, but some have certainly tried.

The funniest thing about lunium to me is the mystery of who the heck is putting these people in teaching positions, who saw these clearly not qualified group and decided they’d be perfect teachers apparently
they cant find actual teachers so they just picked up random adults who had skills and were like "hey. want a teaching job?" and most said yes because money.

the idea of the legendaries going from these all powerful creatures to just everyday humans is so funny. imagine being able to control space, or being able to flood the earth on a whim, or being the embodiment of death itself, generally just straight up being a god.
but now you gotta work minimum wage at a job you hate because you gotta pay the bills on time.
see, there are two catalysts for retaining some of your more animalistic abilities in lunium.
1. be a god. this one is the better option becuase not only are you recognized for being specialized in a field but you get to keep lots of your powers and can even chill in a god realm somewhere. unfortunately becoming a god is very difficult and you have to be born into it. its also not a guarentee! its more likely to occur the stronger you were as a god. zelos, hoshi, and Z are good examples of this.
2. fail to fully transform. if you fail to have all of your pokemonness removed or if significant parts of you are removed or altered then a trait will fail to form. but you will still have some of your old abilities! unfortunately you have to deal with always being outclassed by almost everyone around you. this is the more common outcome but its rather unfortunate. pearl and cyrillo are good examples of this.
now again, im unsure how much lunium and danganmon lore link up because im constantly discovering ways ive contradicted myself but i also kinda. dont worry about it. so you probably shouldnt either. maybe
unfortunately! neither option gets you out of taxes.

how do the residents of lunium feel about pokemon trainers, pokemon battles, contests, all that stuff? i know sylvia, vincent, and doc are trainers and i wonder if they still are? (or at least vincent and doc since sylvia is the champion of galar)
theres no laws against it in lunium but it is extremely uncommon and a bit of an oddity. many have mixed opinions about being caught and trained. while some befriend wild pokemon there seems to be an unspoken taboo about catching them.
sylvia is still a trainer, but she avoids discussing it around lunium and keeps it mostly to her champion life. doc still has some of his mons but has dropped out of battling all together. he doesnt particularly do much with them. vincent similarly dropped out around when doc did as a sort of solidarity thing. he's working to become a nurse and uses his pokemon as his assistants in a way.

Honestly while it may sound strange as much as i adored the dm series for what it was its highs and lows, i've been more invested in the mysteries surrounding v3 the nonexistent story that will never be told. Its just been so much fun ever sense the reel back on that april first to the reveal of isabelle and limbo's th figuring out the plot for this never existing story has been so much fun and im so glad to have it for what is, same with lunium both are amazing and i can't wait for more of your fantastic storytelling, sincerely a fan sense 2021

honestly the fact that dmv3 will likely never happen pains me. i guess the cons outweighs the pros but its still kind of sad. if its any consolation the current TLP plot is based on the plot for DMV3, very loosely.
