Fukuzawa's so fucking funny to me i cant even. He's insane. Raised up in a state sanctioned military school. Raised to master several martial arts styles and taught to master a sword since he was a kid. Didn’t go to war because he hated the army hierarchy. Stopped being a government’s catspaw because he realised liked killing people too much and Thats A Bit Fucked Up. Mind you, not that he was killing people, that he liked it. He can get so angry that people stop their cars on the road mid-movement on the road in horror at his rage. He's a freak magnet. He meets Ranpo and thinks of 50 different ways of killing him. His act of helping a 14 year old with no job, no home and no parents is to offer him assistance as a bodyguard. Free for once. He's insane. He then builds up an entire agency of gifted people and gets into several wars to assist this kid. He killed the Minister of Justice’s father. This is never addressed beyond the guy framing the Agency for mass murder (including his own). He likes cats. His main shipping partners are the maybe-pedophile main villan of the thing they're directly enemies with and also his also-main enemy ex-bff military dude with a time travelling stabby stick who kills his not-grandkids. His childhood friend of thirteen years started to hate him because Fukuzawa refused to fight a full on fucking military war with him. After refusing to fight a war he decided to skip a step and just become an assassin. He thinks you should’nt critisice other people’s food choices. He steals all of his other ex-husband’s kids in their divorce battles. He wears a haori, yukata, tabi and zori plus is a trained swordsman in modern day japan. His afformentioned ex-bff wants to make him into the leader of the world because he thinks Fukuzawa’s an uncorruptable person. Fukuzawa liked murdering people.
Did you know that when someone was about to be beheaded, their hair was cut short so that the blade could sever their head from the body without any interruptions?
fandom consensus: Hiori's going to help Isagi score the final goal against Ubers!!!1! Then Bastard Munchen beat PXG and win all their NEL games, lessssgo
me: ah, but what if... Hiori and Isagi flub their goal opportunity, Ubers counter to win the march... aaaaannd Hiori's frustration with the loss motivates him to play, ahead of the PXG game?
(I recommend reading it first before going on this one. But beware of graphic descriptions of violence and wounds and blood)
"All I could see was you hurt! I don't want this! What is wrong with me?! Why, why— I dont like seeing you like this, what happened? ...did I do this?"
"It wasn't you," you say honestly, hand gently cradling the side of Sun's faceplate. "You didn't do anything wrong."
"Then why do I see those things? Why is my memory messy and I... i keep..." he doesn't finish, but you understood enough.
"It's okay, I'll fix it" -somehow. You offer him a smile, comforting but not giving him an actual answer. This is bad enough as it is. He doesn't need to know those are not dreams. You're afraid he'd never look you in the eyes again.
Then everything would have been in vain.
You hate keeping things from them. You convince yourself it's the same kind of secret you keep when you pull all-nighters to convince management of something and then let your friends believe it was the higher-ups goodwill all along. It's so they can have hope. Be happy.
"I'm not sure why you get to see it, but I'll fix it." Though you don't even know where to start. First things first, you decide, and that is to calm Sun down. "I'm here, I'm safe, we are both here, you'd never hurt me."
"How can you be so sure?"
"Because I know you. Look at you now."
"What if we bugged out?"
"You and Moon wouldn't hurt me, Sun." And it's the truth. They wouldn't.
Ok you know what the whole Jim Starling is Drake Mallard's father AU concept is living rent free in my head and I'm 3000 words into a WIP about this. I have so many ideas on what I can do here it's not even funny.
Celine had been called a witch many times. She’d found her abilities early when her and Damien had been young. And she honestly liked the dark gothic aesthetic and style. She’d also been called an ice queen but witch was much more common. It was mostly in childish insults or whispers around her, there were very few that dared to shout it in her face for fear of what she’d do to them. But one of those few it turned out was her husband.
It had been another argument, for what reason she couldn’t remember clearly now as she stalked through the manor with anger bubbled in her veins. But the last part of it rang in her head like the echo of a gunshot. ‘Don’t you try to play innocent with me you conniving witch!’ Her hands shook as she threw her suitcase open. She felt the burn in her veins, the sparks of energy at her fingertips. She wanted to show him what the word really meant. What someone could do with powers like hers. But Celine still loved the proud man she’d fallen for, she didn’t want to hurt him that way at least. But she needed to leave, at least long enough to cool them both off….
Dark blinked once as the memory faded to the back of his mind from where it had been brought out. As he looked at the so called ‘hero’ in front of him. Still in that stupid red suit with that arrogant smirk on his face at what had left his lips. ‘Celine was nothing but a conniving witch!’ Dark’s face twisted in a mocking sneer as he loosened his stance and moved forward in a predatory prowl. The righteous anger of a protective brother filled his words as a hand clenched into a fist.
“A witch was she? Little more than someone who performed parlor tricks or was someone to blame when things went wrong? Well..”
Dark had a vicious pleasure summer in his veins that was shared three fold as he felt the bastard’s nose crack under his fist. As he watched him fall to the ground. He smirked as he felt the brother step back. As his body shifted and changed to match the pulse of fury that only a scorned and betrayed woman was capable of making.
She looked more elegant, the suit fell against her curves with a sensual sort of ferocity. Dark rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck as she set her heel on his throat. Magic, so much stronger, darker than it had been before leapt into her hands with barely a thought. She smirked at the furious, shocked and…..yes afraid look on Actor’s face. He hadn’t expected to deal with her and the strength of venom in her voice, if it had been possible, would have killed him from necrosis ten times over.
“Maybe I should show you how much of a witch I really am.”
Why does Raph have to be the most underrated when he’s been through it the most?
I feel like the Rise fandom barely talks about the relationship between Raph and Splinter.
Like out of all of them, this rat has left a lasting effect on the oldest that seriously needs to be focused on. Both positive and negative.
To me, Rise Raph isn’t just my favorite (and the sole reason I became hooked on ROTTMNT when it premiered in 2018), he’s the character who has held the most emotional baggage.
Some fans have theorized that Raph was practically the father figure to his brothers while Splinter was moping over his lost glory (although he wasn’t neglectful on purpose).
So while we can say Leo and Donnie have some inner resentment toward the rat man, how did Raph feel deep down about carrying such a responsibility for most of his childhood?
He’s 17 now. He’s still a child.
Why I spiritually beg for more Raph-centered episodes in the hopeful new season is because this guy needs not just a break.
He needs a whole arc of relief, happiness, and all the Teddy Bear Town merch.
I also believe Splinter talked to Raph before making Leo leader. He isn’t heartless! (Just look at how Raph reacted at the end of season 2, he’s definitely FEIGNING surprise!).
sorry sometimes (frequently) i get annoyed with the angst angst and more angst attitude in the fandom so i must counteract it with optimism and thinking about the cool fun shit and catharsis that will come from things <3 i trust these guys (esp cellbit based on what ive heard abt what good of a writer he is) to give us the payoff for it all and i think we should all think about that more :]
