ms. lolly i'm getting glasses and i'm afraid i'm going to look uglier than usual in them. i don't want people to make fun of me (esp. not the guy i like. i dont think he will bc he's sweet but im still anxious) but. i'm afraid that people are gonna tease me. idk what to do and im super nervous bc i'm not attractive and i think the glasses are gonna just bring that out. do u have any tips on getting over that, as a glasses-wearer? Hello! This kind of thing is hard to give advice on but I'll try my best :D! It's kinda like asking what kind of clothes will make you feel the most confident when only you know for sure what makes you comfortable and what doesn't. But I can definitely give you my opinions on glasses and what I feel best in and maybe you can take it into consideration.

(EDIT: OH MY GOD. I wrote a good bit about choosing glasses to feel nice in but I just read the ask again and it's possible you've already gotten them. Just scroll down to the bottom of the ask and I'll talk a bit about that if it's the case.)

You worry about not liking the way you'll look with glasses. That's okay, I've been wearing them since I was little so I feel really ugly without them. It's fine to feel a little insecure. But hopefully you'll find a pair that you think you like nice in!!

For the first ten years of wearing glasses, I had really small, thin wiry ones. Blegh. No wonder I felt so ugly during that time. They were not it. Was looking like this bitch.

But just cuz I didn't like the way they looked on me doesn't automatically mean you won't! Everyone's face is different.

Size matters (HAH) to me. I feel more happy and confident with the way my face looks with glasses depending on how big they are. I like how big glasses look. So when I was 18 I got THESE frames

And I liked them a lot!! I decided I like big wide glasses. So any frames I got from this point forward would look kinda like this.

However!! I kinda regretted the colour. It's like having a big big blocky border around your face dulls it a bit. So when I got new ones a few years later, I wanted them to be lighter. To brighten up the face area. These ones!!

They're pink!!! Or red maybe. But they're pink to ME!!! They are also EVEN BIGGER than the black pair I had. They're HUGE asgdbjnk. And I love them huge. The bigger the better. They're not really circular but they're also kinda roundish and I like that too.

So I guess think about the size, shape and colour. Would you like something more subtle like a small pair? Would you like them big and round? Getting them in a colour that you like Would definitely help!!

The thickness of the frames also matters. Maybe, since you're a little worried about how you'll look wearing them, you'd like something thinner? More subtle? Something in a pale colour/or without much of a border at all? Something that doesn't hide your face

I kinda want glasses that look like this. I want thin gold ones like Miss Willow Park from hit Disney channel show the Owb Houb. However I don't really have that option. I'm borderline blind so I need the thick plastic frames to hold the thick as fuck lenses ahsbdjnk.

But since this is your first pair your eyes probably aren't nearly as bad and you have way more options!!

OKAY!! So if you've already chosen your glasses and are still worried about how you're going to look in them.

Alright, there are never any easy answers to this problem. How to get over not liking the way you look. People definitely like to pretend it's easy, that "Love yourself! Everyone is beautiful! :)" are these magic words that will suddenly rewire our brains into being happy and content with ourselves after a lifetime of feeling like the odd one out. When some people are put on a pedestal for how they look and some are not. It's hard to say physical ugliness doesn't exist when it's been beaten into everyone's heads that it does.

Despite everyone's best efforts to dismantle the concept of beauty standards, they persist relentlessly. They're roots in our brains, roots in society, and they're roots made of iron. So it is nobody's fault for being unsatisfied with themselves even after trying for so long to forcibly inject some girlboss confidence into their bloodstream. Its hard. It will always be hard.

If self love isn't easy at the start, aim for self neutrality. Just not hating is a good place to start.

It seems like you're not comfortable with yourself without glasses, so maybe if we start with that, your face with glasses will be way easier to accept.

In the end, you only have the one face to get you through this lifetime. And it's a lifetime you will waste if you spend it wishing it was different.

Everyone's face is a rearrangement of facial features, none of which are inferior to anyone else's, no matter what we've been mentally trained to believe.

You're a masterpiece all on your own. Every feature on your face belonged to someone in your family who came before you. Every feature you have was once adored by someone else. Specifically because it was a feature that belonged to a very wonderful person.

One day there will be someone who loves you more than anything. They'll love you so much than when they see a face that even looks remotely like yours they'll think that it's beautiful.

If it helps, mess around with your appearance a little. What colours do you like? Patterns? Skirts? Button up shirts? Long hair? Short hair? Dyed hair? Cardigans? Jangly jewelry? Figure out what's the most beautiful to you and add them to yourself. If you don't like your face, drown it out with what you do like. Until it gets to the point where its so distinctly you that you couldn't imagine this whole look without your face attached to it.

If you get to that point where you can feel happy with how you look as your default, then sliding a pair of glasses on and off shouldn't make much of a difference.

Thank you for telling me you like my writing and my posts. You seem sweet. I'm sure that's what people think when they're reminded of you. I'm sure that's what the guy you mentioned thinks. How can a person really be ugly if you associate their face with warmth and kindness?

I (fledgling Dick Grayson fan, indoctrinated by your posts) think that you (veteran Dick Grayson fan) would enjoy the fic “birdsong” by ScarlettSwordMoon on AO3. The summary is as follows:

After getting a face full of Scarecrow’s newest toxin, Dick isn’t haunted by his typical nightmares. No. This one has little green pixie boots. AKA Batman: Ego but make it Robin.

It’s a very good fic looking into Dick’s relationship with Robin as a concept as well as his siblings’ versions of the hero. I’m not super familiar with the comics, but it felt like a good homage to Robin through the ages. Plus it has a nice Dick & Bruce moment at the end!

Hi! It's entirely possible that it's somewhere in my rat's nest of an inbox (half my fault, half not my fault, that it's such a mess 😂) but I'm always up for fic recs! Sometimes it does take me a bit to respond, because I have literally almost a thousand fics on my reader that I'm making my way through and I like to try to read the fic before responding, but it's never because I'm not interested! But also *rubs hands gleefully* there is no better way to brighten my day than to tell me I've been helping to indoctrinate you into becoming interested in being a Dick Grayson fan, look, I recognize that I am super biased, that he's my Blorbo to the max, I am not at all objective about my fave, and possibly even super annoying about him, but I will also help showcase fun comics and great fic and great art, so I think the trade-off is worth it. ;) Listen, I just really love these characters and I know comics can be kind of intimidating to get into because there's so many of them and they're not the softer versions you'll often find in fic and some of the case parts of the stories can get kind of boring, but I do genuinely think they're worth it! You're allowed to pick and choose what you want to read, you don't have to read everything, you can skim something that's boring you, you can drop in and out of wherever you want, you will learn how to navigate them pretty quickly once you've started reading them, and there are always tons of fans who are happy to suggest recs for good starting places! And, yeah, you can totally read fic without having read much of the source material, many of us have fandoms where we do that! But there have been so many times where, having read the issues something is based off of has enhanced my experience in the fic, so I want to encourage you guys to read more with me, it makes the fic that hits you just right all the more satisfying. Thank you for the rec and I have put it on my reader! <3

Anon, these asks are making me feel better, trust me.  Answering these takes the focus off of whatever the fuck is happening in my gut.  Trust me, these are helping me immensely.  And they're fun.

Chen Yuzhi definitely picked up Japanese while studying in Japan, mainly because it was just easier to do so than to find someone to translate for him every time he went out or needed something

He enjoyed walking everywhere in Japan because where he studied was super beautiful and close to parks so he would always go on walks and sometimes even study in the park if it was a nice day

He has taken lessons on how to use a katana/owns one/knows how to take care of it (from my fic Violence Is Never the Answer...Except When It Is)

Chen Yuzhi also owns a kimono, as a gift from a friend, but he doesn't wear it that often because he knows he'll get stared at and he doesn't really do well with all eyes on him

When Jiang Yuelou first discovers that Chen Yuzhi can speak Japanese, it's actually on a case that they're working.  They're able to infiltrate some goods (drugs) that are coming from Japan but they can't read the writing because it looks like Chinese but definitely isn't.  Chen Yuzhi is with them, picks up one of the bags and just starts reading, shocking everyone

They kind of all demand to know how he knows the language and he's like...y'all really forgot I studied in Japan?  I know how to read and speak

Jiang Yuelou likes the way Chen Yuzhi's voice sounds in Japanese, it sounds gentler than when he speaks in Chinese

When there's a fight between a local gang and a yakuza gang that came over to try their luck in Jing City and there's injuries that need to be taken care, Chen Yuzhi is called in to patch them up

When the leader of the yakuza sees Chen Yuzhi, he brightens and they both start talking animatedly while Jiang Yuelou and the others stand around gobsmacked because Chen Yuzhi what the fuck

Yes Chen Yuzhi has friends/knows people in the yakuza and they're all friendly with him and like him.  No he will not elaborate as to how it happened other than he saw someone hurt in Japan on the sidewalk one day, didn't realize that he was yakuza but didn't care, patched him up and sent him on his way and didn't realize he accidentally joined/became friends with the yakuza

Chen Yuzhi sometimes switches to Japanese to cuss because sometimes cussing in Chinese just isn't enough and sometimes he doesn't want people to know what he's saying (mainly Keying)

Jiang Yuelou slowly begins to learn Japanese so that he can understand Chen Yuzhi whenever he speaks Japanese and he does surprise him one day when he responds to something that Chen Yuzhi muttered under his breath

愛してるよ (I love you)

私も愛しているよ (I love you too)

Chen Yuzhi is shook to say the least but now he can have private conversations with Jiang Yuelou and no one can understand what they're saying.  And say sappy things out in public or around each other without people giving them weird looks because they won't understand what they're saying (but they'll get the context because they just need to look at either Jiang Yuelou or Chen Yuzhi's face whenever they're saying "I love you" to each other)

Jiang Yuelou has asked Chen Yuzhi to wear the kimono for him once and when he does, Jiang Yuelou is floored at how different he looks in the kimono but in a good way.  He doesn’t know how to describe it but he really likes seeing Chen Yuzhi in the kimono.  He thinks he looks beautiful and it causes Chen Yuzhi to blush because of course Jiang Yuelou would say something like that

How'd the guys react to a usually expressionless and stoic survivor who always has a blank expression one day burst into heartfelt, gut clutching, knee slapping laughter till the point they're adorably flustered, gasping, and in tears at some random off handed comment the guys' made(they have surprising hilarious random dialogue in game), and still girlishly giggle to themselves long afterwards?

he didn’t know whether to find it uncomfortable or relieving that their partner was expressionless and strangely stoic since the day they first introduced themselves to him. on one hand, he found a tad bit helpful when he wanted nothing more but to kick back and relax while on the other, he wanted more than just a one sided conversation and silence. he shrugged it off eventually, coming to acceptance that regardless of what the wanted, that was just who they were in the end. it wasn’t until one day where he muttered an off handed comment while exploring the cabin that he got his first ever reaction from his partner. at first it was quiet as per usual but the silence was soon replaced by a snort that soon turned into loud laughter that resonated within the empty room. his eyes widened, looking over his shoulder to find them clutching their stomach with one arm while the other held the wall for support as they broke out in a fit of chortling. their face was flushed and tears peeked out of the corner of their eyes as they attempted to catch their breath. well this was new.

Danse:

he was absolutely dumbfounded at the sudden reaction his partner had exhibited right in front of his very eyes. he’d be unsure of why the hell sole was laughing and would raise a brow at their peculiar behavior, trying to ignore the blush creeping on his cheeks. even if he tried to act serious, he knew that their laugh was utterly adorable and he unbeknownstly let the sounds that escape their lips etch into his mind. danse turned around slowly to face them and waited for them to cool down, trying to maintain his professional attitude to avoid the risk of saying something he’d probably regret. he would be unsure of what to do, clearly distracted by their change of character and would instead stare at them intensely as if he lost all sense of ability. sole would wipe the tear off their eye, looking up at danse before straightening themselves out, “sorry paladin, i couldn’t help but laugh at what you just said.” what he just said? he didn’t mean for it to be a joke but fuck, he wasn’t complaining. this was probably gonna be the first and only time they break out of their character and he secretly wanted nothing more but to indulge in the moment. with flushed cheeks, he’d respond firmly, attempting to shake off the events from earlier, “it’s fine. should we continue our mission?” they’d nod, continuing to giggle under their breath from time to time as they rummaged the room together. danse would be completely out of focus for the rest of the day, unable to keep his guard up as their laughter replayed in his mind for hours on end.

Deacon:

his confusion would turn into shock which immediately turned into a sense of satisfaction that was clearly written all over his face. with a cocky grin, he strided over to them, patting their shoulder as they continued to laugh loudly. “guess the good ol’ deacon charm finally hit ya.” as he observed sole, he’d feel a sense of pride and joy build up within him with every second that passed. they’d catch their breath after a minute or so, staring up at deacon with tears eyes and a goofy smile. “don’t get ahead of yourself. it was only one time.” his grin grew much wider. oh, he loved those words coming out of their mouth. even if it wasn’t directly given, he knew damn well that it was a challenge waiting to be conquered and who was he to turn down such a task? deacon crossed his arms as sole raised a brow with a curious expression. “that look on your face reads bad intentions.” he chuckled at their comment, readjusting his sunglasses. “me? bad intentions? why i would never do such a thing! besides, we both know that this won’t be the only time i’ll make you laugh.” sole would roll their eyes and shove him playfully to the side so they could walk past him. “we’ll see about that.” he’d hear the small giggles that left their lips as they continued on with their mission. “doesn’t seem like you’ll last long with all that giggling, charmer.” they’d throw a pencil at him in response to which he dodged without breaking a sweat. “shut up deacon.” silently, he built up all the one liners and jokes he was mentally capable of creating and knew that sole was in for one hell of a fucking ride. this was his biggest challenge yet and he was determined to make sole laugh again, one way or the other.

Hancock:

he’s very good at hiding his astonishment and would instead wrap an around around soles shoulders, happily smiling at their newfound personality he never knew they had. he loved the way their lips curled upwards and how the blush on their cheeks looked as it grew more evident. the way their laugh echoed was music to his ears and he instantly knew that he preferred this side of his partner rather than the other. now that he’s seen it, he didn’t wanna live with the idea of never experiencing it again. “if i knew there was a funny bone in ya, i would’ve made you smile a long time ago, sister/brother.” he jested, his eyes unable to leave their face that he secretly admired up close. they’d turn their head to stare at him, their blush only firing up more at their closeness. he’d flash a friendly grin at them, signaling that he meant no harm whatsoever despite the sudden contact. from the looks of it, it seemed to ease sole as they released the tension from their shoulders. “shit, i didn’t mean to laugh. sorry.” with a shake of his head, he’d immediately shush them, “an apology isn’t needed. if anything, i find this side of you charming as hell and i definitely would want to see this side of you again.” they’d become embarassed, trying to fight the blush that painted their cheeks. “thanks, hancock.” he would pull his arm back from their shoulders and nod in response as they both continued to venture the house further. he’d hear the small giggles that left their mouth every here and there and he’d tease them without hesitation. “glad to know you’re taking up my offer, sister/brother. would be shame if i never got to hear that sweet laughter of yours. it’s music to my ears.” it would only make them giggle more and hancock would chuckle back, feeling a sense of contentment linger in his chest.

Maccready:

he was having a bad day and let out a comment to express his annoyance. he only expected it to get worse as sole laughed carelessly at it, disregarding the irritation in his voice that was clearly obvious. instead, he felt all the weight on his back lighten as he gazed dumbly at sole who didn’t even bother to hide the expression on their face. maccready bit back a smile of his own, feeling his day grow a little less shittier the more their laugh rung in his ears. guess happiness was contagious after all. he’d approach sole with a softer expression, his fingers fiddling nervously with the gun that relaxed on his hands. “here i was thinking if i was running with an emotionless and crazy psychopath,” sole would slow down on their laughter and notice the small smile forming on his face despite his attempts on concealing it, “glad i was wrong.” even if it came out as a joke, he knew damn well that he did secretly feel that way but always brushed it off in the end. it was a damn relief his assumptions were proven false. sole smirked at him, “if i was a psychopath, you would’ve had a bullet between your eyes with all that complaining you do.” usually a comment like that would annoy the shit out of him, especially on a day like this, but he took it lightly, a snicker leaving his mouth. “can’t say you’re wrong there, boss.” as they carried on with their duties, he found himself smiling everytime sole let out a soft giggle under their breath. that’s one way to brighten up his mood.

Nick Valentine:

“well isn’t that wonderful.” nick grinned at them and stretched out a hand to assist them on their feet. they accepted his offer and dusted off their clothes with a huge smile on their face. “nice to know an old geezer like me can make you smile.” it would take them a moment to collect themselves before responding, “you always make me smile, nick.” his eyes would widen in surprise at their confession and tried to remember a time he’s caught them smiling at anything he’s said and done. no matter how deep he dug through his memories, nothing would surface. man, old age was really starting to hit him. “guess i haven’t been paying enough attention to notice that. i thought you were ready to drop me with how bored you look.” sole would deny that accusation immediately, waving it off as they continued to stray away from their usual character. “not at all. everything you say entertains me. whatever you just said now really got to me.” nick would tip his hat, “glad to be of service then. i’m pretty sure i got more of those in mind if you’re willing to lend an ear every once in a while.” sole would bring a fist to their mouth, chuckling to themselves, “of course.” he’d definitely be sure to bring up any comments similar to that fashion in hopes to brighten up soles day, even just a little.

Gage:

he was grateful sole was distracted enough to miss the pure shock plastered on his face as he watched them over his shoulder. he’d immediately shake it off to avoid getting caught with such an expression and to save him from the embarrassment if sole were to taunt him. gage would attempt to act normal as if their reaction hadn’t fazed him, but if sole were to squint hard enough, they’d notice the soft crimson dusting his cheeks. thankfully, they had absolutely no intentions with doing so and continued to laugh loudly at some random shit gage had sputtered out to himself. “if you laugh any louder boss, someone’s bound to hunt us down.” sole would stifle their laugh, slapping a hand against their mouth in attempts to quiet themselves down. gage would snicker at them; he didn’t actually think they would take his words to heart but here they were, choking back a laugh that was bound to release sooner or later. he let out a chuckle, “i’m just jokin’, boss. laugh all ya want, just make sure we got the job done. alive preferably.” sole tittered as they nodded, the blush still bright as day on their cheeks. he turned his back on them, a half smile forming on his face. seeing the overboss all tough and shit made him feel at ease, but this side of them wasn’t too bad either. he wouldn’t bring it up after that, but would secretly be waiting patiently for the next time his partner were to have a similar reaction.

I'm going to answer it this way, because I'm actually not a fan of some of those, and I've heard this is the way to do it if you don't want it ending up in the tag or the search I think? If i censor any of the ship names it's not out of malice! I simply don't want any of this to end up in front of eyes that just want to enjoy their ships 💖💖💖 if there is anyone who doesn't want to see opinions against t*d*d*ku, k*r*b*ku, or even iz**ch*ka, please don't read any further! Oh my goodness i hope this is all legible...

I'll start out by confirming that I'm not a multishipper. It makes me excited to see how the act of shipping itself can make others happy, but it's just not that way for me. I actually never read fanfic until I got into bnha (bkdk is just that powerful 😁😁) I'm actually...a little serious when i ship, or when i enjoy media, i analyze pretty heavily, so also, if that doesn't sound like anyone's cup of tea, i would once again recommend to stop reading and enjoy your day please!

I love analyzing characters and storylines and dynamics, but i will admit, I'm not a fan of most of the ships - not romantically. I think all the characters have interesting relationships to each other, all of the kids are great friends, and I love bonds and friendships so much 🥺🥺🥺

Those first two are perhaps the biggest, at least they definitely were the biggest when I first entered. Once i caught up, I didn't really understand the enthusiasm, but people have fun shipping, so that's nice! I think of those two as easy ships, if that makes sense? They're pretty simple, and easy to digest.

I personally am not a fan of romantic t*d*d*ku for a very specific reason; it feels weird to me for Todo to immediately fall in love with the first person who's ever shown him kindness (since his mother of course). Todo had never had any friends, nor any want for friends, obviously because of the abuse he faced as a child. Mido was his first exploration at a life outside of his father, a life he got to make for himself, it just doesn't feel right to me that he should immediately think "oh, is this romantic love? Is this the one and only for me?" Well, perhaps a teenager might think that way, but i don't think that's actually how he feels deep down, and I'm sure that's something a lot of us have to learn as we grow (I've definitely struggled with my own understanding of romance for the past 8 years). I think he still is trying to learn how to socialize and to make friends and to be a friend (and he's doing SUCH a good job!) But to immediately plunge into romance, which can be complicated, i don't think that would be right for him. I hope that makes sense! I know they're a very cute ship, which makes for fun! But again, I can be a little serious when i ship...

K*r*b*ku kind of falls into similar territory for me? Baku definitely had friends growing up, but he's seemed to always have trouble understanding his feelings and where he stands with others, causing trust issues. Kiri is really the first person he knew where he stood with, a person for him to be comfortable with and feel on equal ground, which i think is such a huge and positive role in his life, and i don't necessarily think that it needs to be romantic - for both of these, i think these relationships are incredibly important, to everyone involved, and making them romantic doesn't make them any more important!! In fact, i feel like them as friends actually can offer a more complex, interesting, and human dynamic between these characters, as sometimes people simply default to romance and then end up pushing for the same old tropes and ignore all the intricacies Horikoshi includes in his writing.

Again, I love Mido's friendship with Todo, and I love Baku's friendship with Kiri. I think these relationships are incredibly important, and friends are incredibly important. People who ship them are having fun, which is so lovely, and i hope they continue to have fun! I hope you personally find more fics about them that make you smile and brighten your day 💖💖💖

Iz**ch*ka is a little difficult, because they certainly are cute, separately and together. I thought they were cutest before Ura was told about her potential crush on Mido, when she was simply a source of bubbly energy and positivity that helped Mido open up and feel comfortable around other people. I feel though that, romantically, it's extraordinarily one-sided, and at this point, i have to wonder if they really are "end goal." End goal for shounen, of course, is hardly ever explicit ahzovndlfjsoxo but i feel like a better storyline for Horikoshi to take would be for Ura to realize that she's been confused, and these feelings haven't really been a positive experience for her. I've definitely gone through things like that as a teenager. Now, the ship can be very cute! They're basically the same person, and they're cute and bubbly! But again, it simply isn't for me.

I think Momjirou is very cute!! Of course, as a lesbian, i sense strong lesbian vibes from Momo, and strong bi vibes from Jirou, and I also saw the ship potential ever since the USJ attack - which i think, so did everyone else ahaovndofjsojfsk they're best friends without a doubt, though i have to say, i really like Kamijirou. She just makes him so soft, and he's so in awe of her, and she thinks he's so funny, I love how supportive he is of her, especially since she can be really insecure 🥺🥺🥺

I also think Ura and Tsu are very cute but another easy ship, and i kind of really like Ochamina 🥺 they're both pink and space themed, they're bubbly and energetic and kick ass, and i think they'd be super cute...

I saved todobaku for last, because, you know what they say, best for last! 😇😇😇

I've said it before, but if there was no Mido (impossible obviously, and i would never want that) then todobaku is where my heart would lie. Baku has never really been shown chasing after anyone except for Mido...and Todo, which really gets at my heart. There's a grudging respect there - very, very grudging ahakckdkfjskdk which i find very appealing! Todo is very important to Baku and he has also been able to show Baku some things about himself that he needed to question and reevaluate. Meanwhile, Todo puts up with exactly 0% of Baku's shit, which i find absolutely hilarious. It's funny to me how Baku wishes to intimidate Todo as he does everyone else, and Todo simply does not care. And Baku wants to be mad, and ends up mad that he can't be mad since Todo is a strong and worthy opponent. They just have such an interesting chemistry, there's so much friction, so much tension, and I enjoy it, particularly since they clearly should be friends, would be great friends, want to be friends, but Baku simply won't get over it 😂😂 I do prefer them as friends, but friends that are incredibly close, two people that understand each other on almost a telepathic level, two people that give each other shit while also refusing to take the other's shit.

I do agree that many people in this fandom seem to think their ship stands on some moral high ground? It could be a disconnect from the previous generations of fandom, or it could also be the growing mentality on this site that everything needs to be a battle of moral superiority, and also that what you like is part of your personality, and if someone doesn't like what you like, then they don't like you or that they think you're factually incorrect. I personally have stopped going into the bn/ha tag simply because I don't enjoy, well, many things i find there, and I'm happy with those that i follow. I've definitely seen hatred and invalidation for both LGBT ships and m|w ships, neither of which I'm comfortable with. I definitely don't go off tumblr for fandom stuff because there's practically no acceptance for any same gender ships, or any queer headcanoning, which, I'll be honest, makes me scared, as i am a very anxious person avdkvndkfje i do think it should be noted that we should be as accepting of cishet ships as we are of queer ships - no debate on this one - but again, you are right when you say that many cishet headcanons have been used to invalidate LGBT voices, and any and all allies must always be aware of this! It is much more often that queer voices are silenced, that queer ships are ridiculed, that queer shippers aren't allowed to enjoy or see themselves. And to anybody that doesn't want to be an ally... I haven't really read much of anything recently, let alone other ships, platonic or otherwise, because energy has been low for me for a long time. I wish i could participate more and support all my friends and other fans, but it's been a bit of a struggle 😣😣😣 I'm so sorry!
