Kathryn had been a ballerina since kindergarten. Dancing was once the only thing that mattered. She was an only child, loved her parents dearly, and dreamed of becoming a professional ballerina, dancing on stages all over the world. And then, the Mastermind changed everything. He caused a car accident that killed Kathryn’s parents and paralyzed her from the waist down, ending her career and her life as she had known it.

The Mastermind, disguised as the famous Dr. Damien Frey, came to Kathryn’s “rescue” with a new medical procedure that he had created.
