'Amazon is making one final trip to hell.
The streamer has renewed Good Omens, the fantasy-comedy that started as a limited series, for a third and final season. Production on the show from BBC Studios, and based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, is expected to begin soon in Scotland.
“I’m so happy finally to be able to finish the story Terry and I plotted in 1989 and in 2006,” Gaiman said in a release announcing the news Thursday. “Terry was determined that if we made Good Omens for television, we could take the story all the way to the end. Season one was all about averting Armageddon, dangerous prophecies and the End of the World. Season two was sweet and gentle, although it may have ended less joyfully than a certain Angel and Demon might have hoped. Now in season three, we will deal once more with the end of the world. The plans for Armageddon are going wrong. Only Crowley [David Tennant] and Aziraphale [Michael Sheen] working together can hope to put it right. And they aren’t talking.”
While season one explored the source material, the unexpected second season went further than the stories in Pritchett and Gaiman’s novel. Gaiman will continue to serve as showrunner, executive producer and writer. Rob Wilkins of Narrativia will represent Pratchett’s estate. Josh Cole, head of comedy at BBC Studios Productions, also executive produces the series, which Amazon MGM Studios, BBC Studios, the Blank Corp. and Narrativia produce.'

Yeah I have! He’s actually one of my favorite authors! I love his whole philosophy on life and his writing is masterful and enjoyable—he’s one of ...three? I think? Authors whose stuff I’ve read was so good I had to set it down for a minute bc I got physically angry to see my craft at its absolute peak & wish it was something I did that incredibly—not in a bad way it’s just hard to explain lol (And the super ace/aro spectrum writing is a plus too). I super do vibe with it! So good instincts!

The Maul has begun.
Fans of the Terry Pritchett Discworld series know the Maul is the fantasy world of Ankh-Morpork’s shopping center. I just sort of build and create as it comes to me, so there’s a lot going on here.
Shatta (featuring Micro Mail) is on the far left with space for window features above. A clacks tower is planned for on top of that. Moving to the right is the space that will be Boffo Novelty and Joke shop from Wintersmith. On the roof of Boffo’s will be a pigeon house because of course.
The next building will house stores mentioned throughout the series: Crumley’s toy store, a clock store (no glass clocks though), a store I created called “Pseudo Pots” that sells the small goblin pots (called Unggue) that STP mentions are all the rage at the end of Snuff.
I also have space for a millinery store, so I can feature all the fabulous hats described in the books.
Shatta from Unseen Academicals is what began this new project, and I ordered loads of goodies to outfit the entire place. Here is what it looks like so far
Lots of ideas floating around…definitely have CMOT Dibbler’s stand built but not finished and I want a visitor’s center for guidebooks and whatnot.
As always, ideas of what should be included in each shop or even ideas for other shops are welcome.

2) What draws you to your gods? What do you like about them?
I’ll be honest here, as much as I dislike the language of “calling” that is often used to describe why people pick the entities they do, but it really is the best word for how I feel. I don’t think my gods “called” to me necessarily, I use “calling” here more like how some people describe their careers as a calling. I was chosen sure, but like how one gets chosen to do a job. I had the right skills, knowledge, personality, etc that at some point Oisin decided to pick me to do this work he needed on behalf of his family.
I love how old they all feel, even Wren who presents as a child. I’ve had encounters and relationships with a lot of entities in my 25 years, and The Forgotten Ones are the most ancient entities I have ever felt. So returning them and bolstering them with my worship feels like an act of preservation. I also love how much they clearly love one another, they are clearly a close knit family. Despite the hardships they may have gone through that lead to their fracturing they all put the rest before themselves.
