I did Minimum cleaning up #this set is. well Im gonna draw the design sketch like with the toy doctor #but yeah the Other name for this one is 'wizard of performance'#which. uh. yeah there u go #Im actually flipfloppin between thinking this looks fine and feeling like I fucked up big time.... idk why. probably bc I put a h #uge splash of almond flavoring into this tea instead of like. two drops. like I wanted to #its literally like drinking perfume. why is vanilla fine when you add more than a few drops in but almond extract poisons you in real time #like why does a food flavoring smell exactly like something you Shouldn't eat. why is it made like that #well. I will sleep now. and maybe I'll dream. and then I'll know #have a good night lads! we are not immune to propaganda.

i am literally so mad that i have waited years to write this review of Daffy’s Southern Exposure and when i finally do i get the worst cold i have had at least within the past 5 years and am too sick to write a substantial amount. like come on. COME ON! i would almost rather it be COVID because that’s at least a valid excuse!!!!! sorry this post nasal drip made me nauseous and then i got mad that i was nauseous because i also had a bad stomach bug two weeks ago that also prevented me from writing. needless to say i hope you all enjoy the review when it’s out because my goodness it is giving me a hard time. thank you for your patience again 😤🙏

#i’m so maddddd i was writing a good amount today too and then bam nausea because of my stupid sinuses draining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#i have lemon ginger tea but i can’t even taste it because i’m so congested #this has been worse than the two times i had COVID because my COVID symptoms manifest as fever and aches and fatigue and i can at least just #sleep that off!! not with this stupid cold!!!!!!!#i used to get colds literally every month when i was still in school and my drama director once said i had the immune system of a gnat which #is true. so i’m lucky that i haven’t had a cold this bad/maybe at all at least since i graduated high school since that was pre covid times #but since i’m not not used to being substantially sick anymore it means i’m gonna complain about it when i am sick so there 😤#okay. sorry. just needed to bitch. back i go to playing Animal Crossig and Pokémon i guess since my body can’t handle any more than that!!!!

there's something to be said about the idea of headcanons, and of plastering bits you resonate with onto pre-written characters, in an effort to "see yourself" in them. it's not malicious at all, but sometimes I wonder what the whole purpose of it is.

if it's for some kind of representation, to see certain ideas or traits manifest in a story you like, i would understand but also tell you to just like....go read something else. instead of ordering a hawaiian pizza minus the pineapple, just order a ham and cheese pizza. if that makes sense. lots of people on here love to post all about their favorite stories with queer headcanons, but refuse to take the step outside their realm of comfort and read something that has those queer themes actually interwoven into the story.

other times, people claim to do it just to see themselves reflected more in their favorite characters. which feels equally as flimsy to me. if you can't emphasize or even find enjoyment in a story if the characters dont resemble you (or an idealized you) in some way, then. idk. maybe work on that or something

#thisisnt like. a mean targeted post im moreso just thinking about things. i do this myself sometimes lol im not immune #anyways sorry im stuck at home for 6 weeks so im gonna be posting nonsense like this #in reality none of this really matters too much at all #however as someone who used to be way into this shit when i was a teenager i wonder what kinda purpose it serves? other than the obvious #we're reaching a state online where fiction is restricted more and more to these headcanon-y fandom-like levels of nuance #which is in part due to how many people are just teenagers and dont tend to worry too much about metanarrative discussions #nor is that everyone's cup of tea in the first place #but over the past 5 or so years it feels like more and more people default to this method when it comes to any kind of storytelling #regardless of the initial values of the original media they're discussing. it all gets relegated to this fandom-o-vision #this isn't even tumblr-centric. it's very prevalent on here yes. but every other social media seems to be following in kind #perhaps not with the same exact methods. but the similar lack of nuance feels like its there too #i just worry sometimes. maybe it isnt that important. but. oh well #im gonna go make myself a delicious milkshake
