That night, they get absolutely wasted. It's mostly because JJ knows Y/N wants to be able to forget about what her parents have done to her, to numb the hurt of their betrayal, but instead of depressingly getting drunk alone at the Chateau, they go to Charleston, just the two of them. They take the ferry and walk to one of the bars, laughing and reminiscing about how they used to come with their fake IDs, finding the places that didn't card and taking everyone and going crazy on weekends. Sometimes they would fall asleep in a park, waking up to officers telling them to leave, but sometimes they would rent a hotel room and continue drinking until morning.
"Maybe you should slow down." JJ says when she nearly falls of a chair finishing her drink. He's laughing though, and when she leans against him he knows it's time to pay the tab and find a hotel room. He doesn't think they'll continue drinking, not this time, but Y/N's had a rough day and he wants her to have the comfort of a bed tonight.
But it's too late in the night, and without them knowing everyone else has left and they're being kicked out of the bar. They stumble away, laughing and leaning on each other. JJ has halfway forgotten about his plan to get a room when Y/N runs ahead.
"I have a song stuck in my head!" Y/N yells, one hand around the lamppost as she twirls to the music in her head.
"Oh! Oh! Let me guess!" JJ screams, grabbing her hands and spinning her around. It's two AM, but they are near a park, houses far enough away that they won't hear the couple's screaming.
"It's Taylor Swift!" She tells him, causing him to gasp dramatically and drop her hands, swaying away.
"I wanted to guess!" He wines, causing her to laugh.
"She has like, a million songs! I wanted to make it easier for you!" She laughs, falling to the grass on the other side of the sidewalk.
"I'm about to read your mind." JJ says, the street light making his light hair practically reflective and his eyes the brightest shade. Y/N is about to doubt him, tease that there is no way he could know that, when he stars singing. "I like shiny, yeah, but somethin' paper rings, uh huh you're the one I want!" He calls, and she can only laugh as he hums and dances, a splash on his jeans illuminated as it catches the light. She can't remember how it got there, but she smiles all the same.
"How did you guess?" She asks, letting him pull her up to her feet, the two of them singing out of tune and the wrong words as they twirled around, kissing in between words.
The truth is, she actually had Getaway Car stuck in her head. But it was cute that JJ started singing Paper Rings, or at least trying his best. They get halfway through Lover, which is easier to sing, before they collapse on the ground and fall asleep in each other's arms.
This time, they wake up abruptly not to a police officer but the sprinklers. They scream and stumble away, noticing that they've only been asleep for a short period of time; the sun had barely risen and the air was still cool, despite the summer. The couple grumble and take the first ferry home, sitting close to each other. Y/N was wearing JJ's sweatshirt that he had shoved in a small backpack that had shielded it from being wet.
As their headaches settled in, all Y/N could think about was her previous night. She left home. And sure, she hadn't been sleeping there for a while, but her parents hadn't actually kicked her out. All she could think of is that her mother didn't care, just yelled at her as she left.
"Baby," JJ was wiping her tears before she even knew that she was crying. She looked up, letting him put his arms around her.
"I'm sorry," She was glad that in the morning the ferry was only full from the OBX to the mainland, plenty of people going to work there. Not as much so vice versa. "I was just thinking about how my mother didn't even care that I was leaving. She only wanted to save face, that's why she didn't kick me out sooner." JJ's hand went to her waist, under her sweatshirt to rub circles on her skin.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. It's your parent's fault. I don't know why they wouldn't like someone like you." He comforts, pressing kisses to her cheeks and then one to her lips, even though their breath was sour.
"Probably because I was a terrible daughter." Y/N frowns. Maybe, if she hadn't pulled so many stunts, if she had tried a little harder, then her parents would have cared.
"Hey," How JJ knew what to say Y/N had no idea, because JJ never had the best parents either. "Parents are supposed to love unconditionally. They were like this before you started acting out. It's the same with my dad." He kisses her forehead and pulls her closer, hands caressing her skin. It's almost like he read her mind.
"Your dad is worse by a mile." She tells him, because it's true. But they both smile, if only because they don't have to deal with Luke anymore, and Y/N can't help but feel the love she has for JJ blossom in her heart. Her mother made her feel useless, weak, but JJ? JJ made her feel needed. She was important to him, and the fact that he made sure to tell her made her fall even more in love.

My first impression of them
As I said in the ask about Icy, I don't remember my first impressions on Winx or the characters. It's like it has always been a part of my life. What I can remember ist, that I shipped Darcy and Riven very early. Already as a kid and before I kinew what shipping actually is. They were the couple I found the most interesting and I loved them interact. In Germany we had a children anime magazine which didn't only feature animes but also shows like Winx. In one issue one could vote for one's favorite anime couple and I filled in the form with Darcy and Riven. But I never sent it in.
3. A song that reminds me of them
And again I have to go with driven because the song that immediately comes to my mind is Getaway Car by Taylor Swift. So iconic. If I had to pick one only for Darcy, I'd again look back at my childhood and the early years of YouTube which had at least 2 videos with Darcy and the song Angel of Darkness.

26. When do you think they were being "themselves" the most.
I think this is whenever her true self shows through the illusion she gives of herself. Darcy is seen as a shady and devious character whose power's sources are illusions and the psyche of her victims. She knows how to dissimulate her true intentions and she comes off like the calculating queen of darkness. But sometimes her mask slips and we see that she is a vulnerable character who hides her fears behind her powers. This can be seen for example in 1x8 where Darcy shows concern for Riven who is about to have an accident because of that helmet. It can also be seen in 2x11 where she tries to make Icy put the feather on the scale because she is afraid, it might be the wrong item and doesn't want to be punished by the scale's power. (Icy looked through this of course because she knows her sister) Another scene is in the 2nd movie when the Trix take over the Tree of Life and Darcy is shown to be unsure and a little afraid of what might happen to them. She plays cool but is actually a careful overthinker and these scenes are only some examples.

yes im the same anon!! yayyy for the post. I agree with everything. Regarding midnights? Hmmm I’d say Mastermind, the Great War and Midnight Rain are probably the most ssk coded :3 bigger than the whole sky COULD be ssk but only if chuuya had actually been a vampire and tried to kill Dazai I think :3 could also be post-divorce ssk but I don’t think the divorce was ACTUALLY tragic enough for bigger than the whole sky. OH AND KARMA!! CHUUYA IS SOOO DAZAIS KARMA!!! Actually!! Would’ve could’ve should’ve could be ssk coded but I think they aren’t toxic enough for wcs :/

“It was the best of times, the worst of crimes”
Prologue
Clyde ran down the hall. He had never felt so stressed in his life. He knew it was too soon to commit another robbery. Clyde usually spaced out his robberies. At first he used to do them every month. He thought it was best to always keep the Feds on their toes. He never revisted a place he planned on robbing. He always had the same plan. Pick out the bank. Flirt with the bank teller to figure out the layout of the bank. Watch the bank for a few days. Then rob the bank and make a clean getaway. Clyde would always leave town right away. But that was until he met Bonnie.
"Come on Bonnie, were running low on time" Clyde stressed as he watched the clock. Two robberies in one month was not the move.
"I can't hack into this system if you keep coming back to bother me every 30 seconds clyde. Go check on the hostages or something." Bonnie said as she tried to keep cool.
"You know we don't have to do this princess, We can figure out a plan and ditch them. We don't need them. We've been doing this on our own without them." Clyde said with a pleading look. He looked at bonnie with love in his eyes. Bonnie wanted nothing more than to leave with him. The look in her eys said 'I wish we could'. He knew bonnie was scared. He was scared too but he couldn't admit that right now. He had to be strong for her, after all she only got involved in this lifestyle because of him.
"I thought you said wouldn't take longer than 2 minutes" The guy said.
"Well, sometimes it can take longer, especially if they have strong security." Bonnie said. Clyde stayed by her side with his hand on her thigh.
Truth was, Bonnie was stalling. She had a bad feeling that something was gonna happen to her or Clyde and she didn't wanna risk that. She knew that a big fight was going down as soon as she finished hacking into the system. But you could only stall for so long. She looked at clyde while her finger hoovered over the enter button. Clyde took a hold of her hand and pressed a kiss too it. HE then leaned into her eye and said "Whatever happens remember I love you and I don't regret anything". He kissed her cheek and then took her finger and pressed down on the key.

Clyde ran with the man down the hall. once the vault unlatched they opened up their bags and put the money into the bag as fast as they could. The other man was trying to talk to him But clyde was too focus on trying to get the hell out of there.
"You know we could've been done faster if your woman would've been faster" The man said.
"Yeah I know." Clyde replied.
"I mean what is it with her lately. She used to be chill and now she's acting all weird" The man said.
Clyde zipped up his bag.
"Stop talking about my girl." Clyde gritted through his teeth.
The man stopped what he was doing and looked at clyde with a smirk.
"Don't you think how weird she's been acting lately? Kinda make you think she would set us up huh?"
"Look man I don't know what your trying to do, But we don't got time for this we got less then 2 minutes to get outta here" Clyde said.
"Why so paranoid Clyde? what's wrong? Is this not the lifestyle for you?"
"I've been doing this just fine until you and Jennifer came around" clyde said. "So if anyone would be the problem it sure isn't Bonnie."
Just as the man was about to speak her heard a gunshot and then not long after he heard Bonnie scream out "Clyde It's a trap! They set us up!"
Clyde looked at the man and then ran for the door. HE knew in that moment Bonnie was right all along. She complained to him that this man and Jennifer were weird and they were only involved because they wanted the money Bonnie and Clyde had worked very hard for. He had to make it back to Bonnie. That was his top priority right now.
The man had tackled Clyde to ground. Clyde struggled to get this guy who was 2x his size off him. he wouldn't give up.
"Oh Come on Clyde. You had to know this was going to happen. You've been on a watch list for years. Bro its really nothing against but a hundred grand is a lot of money and I promised Jennifer a good life" the man said.
Being smaller than most guys had its advantages. Clyde was able to get out of his grip and grab his gun.
"Woah, Woah Come on man. You know what its like to want to spoil your girl" The man pleaded.
As clyde was about to speak, Jennifer came in with Bonnie. Bonnie look miserable. Clyde could see that Jennifer was bleeding and he smirked at bonnie. Bonnie may have look samll and weak to the visible eye but she was a tough girl.
When the man saw his girl he was furious at Bonnie. That man wanted nothing more than to hurt bonnie but right now they were in quite a predictiment. Jennifer had her gun drawn at bonnie and clyde. Clyde had is gun drawn at Jennifer and her man.
"Drop the gun" Jennifer gritted through her teeth.
"ladies first" Clyde said.
Clyde knew they were running out of time. The bank alarms were going off. The police sirens of their cars were getting louder and louder and yet they all stood their like they had nothing to lose. Bonnie was getting more and more frustrated by the minute so she did what she had to do. She hit Jennifer in the back of the head and as she watched Jennifer fall to the ground she grabbed the bags. Jennifer seemed to be knocked out cold but that man wasn't going down without a fight. He grabbed jennifers gun and shot at clyde.
For bonnie it was like all time had just stopped. She saw clyde fall to the floor. He had been shot in the leg. And it was enough for Bonnie to turn around to shoot him In the leg. Bonnie then pulled clyde off the floor and drag him towards the exit.
"Clyde are you okay baby?" Bonnie whispered. Clyde grunted in response. As bonnie was going towards the exit she realized she couldn't use her plan anymore. Now that she knew it was a setup she couldn't go towards that exit. More and more cop cars were pulling up and there was nothing she could do. she couldn't figure out how to get both of them out of there. So She sat on the ground and looked at clyde.
"We're not making it out of here" She whispered. She held his hand.
"I should've believed you when you told me about your suspicions" Clyde said.
"That doesn't matter right now. How are we getting out of this one?" Bonnie asked.
Clyde looked at bonnie for a moment and sighed. "You are going to take that money and get in that car and drive away" Clyde said.
"What? No! I'm not going to leave you here. your hurt and-"
"Listen to me! Your gonna take that money and get in that getaway car and when you are given the signal that's when you are to come back and get me. Yes i'll be locked up but I know you'll come back to get me!" clyde said while looking in her eyes.
She knew it was the only way this would actually work.
So She kissed him one last time. She grabbed the money and the keys and ran out the building but not before looking one more time at Clyde. "I'll be back for you, I promise".

Weird storytime about how I became a swiftie:
I actually didn't like Taylor very much at first. Not her as a person just her music. I thought her music was annoying. But i always really liked her outfits in her music videos and stuff. My sister had been a huge swiftie since like mid late 1989 era. She loved Taylor and would blast WANEGBT, Blank space and a ton more songs everyday. I tried to act like i was too cool for Taylor Swift even though I really liked a ton of Red and 1989 songs. I used to read books about taylor swift at school and lie about it. And a couple years later I saw on Netflix Taylor was making a tour movie for Revaluation or Regulation or something like that. So I told my sister but I acted like I didn't care. So I watched it with her and I noticed I liked a couple songs I hadn't heard before. My sister watched it again this time I made her put on captions (so I could know the names of the songs I liked.) I would hear a song I'd run to my room and write down the names of the songs I wanted to listen to again. 2 of the songs I really liked were Long Live and Getaway Car. Anyways a couple years later I opened a spotify account and secretly listened to 1989 and Reputation and sometimes Lover. I became a huge swiftie but no one knew. So eventually my mom went through my Spotify to make sure I wasn't listening to bad music. And she found out that I was listening to Taylor and she exposed me. I wasn't too big of a fan but I ended up listening to all of her albums one day and boom. Now I buy her vinyls and Cd's and throw release parties for her new Albums. I think I owe my love for Taylor to my sister tbh. 😭

How to write characters (fun)
Creating characters is one of my favorite parts of writing. From naming them to figuring the dynamics between them and other characters, it feels like getting to know a real person.
Naming characters. I could go on an on about this, but I’ll keep it short. Some things to keep in mind are: a characters ethnicity or background (John vs Juan vs Hanna); meaning, either symbolically (Ash, Grace, ect.) or linguistically (Alison= “noble” in German, “the tooth” in Arabic). Sometimes the name itself can give you an idea for a character— I see the name Raven and I get a teenage girl with long hair and eyeliner, possibly an assassin. I see the name Doris and I think of a receptionist at a dentist’s office with short curly hair and a mug with a cat on it. I see the name Grant and I think of a love interest in some sort of dark-academia boarding-school mystery kind of setting.
Character playlists. I don’t care what anyone says, character playlists ARE writing. What songs remind you of your character? What songs fit their vibe? What would they sing in the car? What song describes their relationship with their s/o, sibling, best friend? There’s a Taylor Swift song for every relationship. (Forbidden love? Getaway Car. Friends to lovers? It’s Nice To Have A Friend. Falling out of love? tolerate it. Abandonment issues? All You Had To Do Was Stay. I COULD GO ON). One Direction has a lot of good relationship songs, but at the end of the day, it’s your playlist. Do what feels right!
Pinterest. There are so many cool character ideas/designs/concepts on Pinterest. I’m more of a visual learner, so it’s helpful for me to actually see people and create a whole character that way. The visual range of the subject in the drawing/photo as well as the range of content creators helps so much in keeping my characters diverse in personality, ethnicity, age, body type, hair type as well as cool ideas for scars, outfits, weapons, hobbies, ect. The possibilities are endless.
MBTI personality types. Most people (myself included) don’t know enough about the personality types to be able to pull types out of the air when creating characters, but once you get to know our character, looking up the MBTI types can be helpful, especially when it comes to the strengths and weaknesses of each type. I either make my best guess per character and read through a couple different types for ideas, take the MBTI test as if I were that character, or, if I’ve based my character (i.e. Calida) off a person I know (i.e. my best friend), find out what personality type that person is (ESTP).
I also have a running list of people’s personality types on my phone, which helps when guessing characters personality types or creating a character based off an MBTI type (i.e. I want an ENFJ character. Who do I know who’s an ENFJ? Can I base a character off them? What would they do in x situation?)
Memes. Incorrect quotes, “_____ characters as Vines,” “_____ characters as TikToks,” alignment charts (chaotic good, lawful evil, ect.), that one triangle of “pulls into McDonalds while children cheer, orders a single black coffee and leaves,” or just a plain old meme, it’s a great and fun way to get to know your characters in a more informal setting and learning how they interact with each other and fit into their friend group. Sense of humor? Mom friend? Snarky or deadpan? Accident prone? These aren’t the kind of things you discover about your characters right away. It only works after you’ve spent time with them, and when writing seems too overwhelming or cumbersome, memes are the way to go.
The better you know your characters, the better you know how they’ll interact with other characters. Which leads us to…
Creating dynamics. Dynamics are all about relationships. Sibling dynamics, for example, can range from Gamora and Nebula (Guardians of the Galaxy) to Luke and Leia (Star Wars) to found family, like Kaz and Jesper (Six of Crows). Sticking to the siblings theme, clichés can be a jumping-off point— because if you truly make them your own, they’re not clichés anymore, they’re people. Overprotective, popular teenage brother and their younger sister? It’s a Wattpad classic because that’s an actual situation. A multitude of sisters and one younger brother? I’ve lived that. A messy sibling and a neat one sharing a room? I’ve lived that. There are an endless combination of people, and no two relationships are the same. As long as you take the time to do it right, there’s no way it can be cliché.
Write everything down. Whenever I can, I try to save lists of characters people wish they could see more in books. Whenever I get a character idea or an idea for a character dynamic, I write it down, even if I have no idea what to do with it later. Here’s some examples straight from my Notes app (feel free to use these to to add to them):
Two sisters with Reputation/Lover personalities, respectively. (For those who don’t know, Reputation and Lover are two Taylor Swift albums with completely opposite vibes). One is intensely scary on the outside but really wants love and security and to protect those she cares about and pretends not to care about what people think of her (Reputation). The other is bubbly and happy and friendly on the outside but will mess you upppp with zero hesitation or regret, low-key sociopathic (Lover, with a twist).
Hot jock sword girl (broadsword, or possibly a mace) (Think Jane Foster Thor) with her nerdy short cartographer boyfriend who wears glasses and gets flustered easily and can barely lift her weapon
Viking-esque (pirate?) sword/axe girl with bleach-blonde curls
Older sibling who is shorter than their younger sibling (and mad about it)
“Every firstborn daughter is the girl version of their dad.”
Upper-class character who is secretly poor but doing everything they can to hide it and keep their family out of relative poverty
Princess/gardener romance. He leaves her roses on her window but she has no idea it’s from him. He’s pretty faded into the background (a wallflower, pun intended) so she’ll just be talking to her friend trying to figure out who it is and not even noticing him but he hears every word but is too shy to say anything. Maybe she’s kind of snooty in the beginning, but changes by the end? Bonus points if he ends up saving her life. OOH what if he saves her life somehow, she’s kind of snooty and pretentious and mean to him and he loses feelings but they’re stuck together, they go on some kind of adventure, she gets humbled along the way, she finds out he was her secret admirer and falls for him, he’s going to give up on her but then she does something that shows her character tear development (parallel to the beginning of the book, but she makes a different choice?), he falls for her again and they live happily ever after, secret admirer to enemies to lovers 50K words BOOM.

What is the Lainey synopsis?
Ever since Taylor and Matty’s situation became front page gossip, I’ve been wondering whether or not he’d be a Tom Hiddleston or more. Tom was Taylor’s rebound “Getaway Car” after Calvin Harris before she got serious with Joe Alwyn. Tom also came into Taylor’s life like a flash – she and Tom were also a heatscore, hanging out with all her friends, getting papped all the time …and then she bounced, real quick after getting what she came for. Maybe that applies to Matty too. Maybe it’ll apply to him again if she finds time in her schedule?
The thing about the Taylor Swift machine though is that, well, we know what she wants us to know. This revelation yesterday that she is “single” and that she and Matty were “casual”, these details don’t come out if she hasn’t given her team the go-ahead to let it out. Taylor Swift wants to cool down all the focus on her and Matty. Her version of her album Speak Now is coming out soon. She is redirecting the conversation.

GTA VI Trailer/Taylor Swift Theory
Okay, so this may seem a bit random but as you maybe aware I am a Taylor Swift fan and I also love Grand Theft Auto.
Next month, the first long awaited trailer for GTA VI is going to be released and well I have a little theory.
So based on the leaked information about the game so far, there is a male and female protagonist and they have a Bonnie and Clyde type dynamic. Or at least that is how I have seen it painted when it has been reported on.
And you may ask how Taylor Swift ties into all of this?
Well as of late 2022, Taylor Swift can re-record Reputation and release Taylor’s Version. On Reputation is the track, “Getaway Car” which tells a Bonnie and Clyde style tale.
Back in 2020, “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” featured in a Match.com advert as a precursor to the Fearless (Taylor’s Version) album coming out the following April. If memory serves this was December 2020. I will concede I could be wrong there though.
I kinda have a theory that “Getaway Car (Taylor’s Version)” may serve as the track on the GTA VI trailer indicating Reputation (Taylor’s Version) being released around April 2024.
This is just a theory though, as to my knowledge there isn’t a confirmation that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is the next album on the re-recording list. Although, to my knowledge there is only Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) to go.
A few other reasons I like this theory is, that I have seen in various GTA forums people complaining “Getaway Car” isn’t in the soundtrack for GTA V. But considering GTA V was released in 2013 and Reputation in 2017. It wouldn’t make much sense for it to be in the soundtrack, especially the base game which is set in 2013 even if they could add it later in online content.
And then as well as this year being the 25 Anniversary of Rockstar Games. December is the month of Taylor Swift’s birth. Kinda a cool announcement window for both Rockstar and Taylor Swift.
I maybe way off, but I enjoy speculating.
NB: Before posting this. I just looked it up and there is a belief Taylor will announced Reputation (Taylor’s Version) at a concert tomorrow, 24/11/23. If you add up the individual single digit numbers, it makes 13 which is Taylor’s lucky number. Having “Getaway Car (Taylor’s Version)” as the trailer track for GTA VI though would still be a great precursor to the album coming out.
