Hey guys, I’m sorry for the short notice, but there will not be an update this week (locals and tumblr)

Thursday night my iPad crashed and while it hasn’t deleted the data, it doesn’t turn on anymore.

I just got back from the Apple Store with a new iPad—that thanks to your guys’ locals subscriptions is mostly covered—but the new iPad doesn’t have the new pages on it so I will unfortunately have to miss this week and redraw them.

Again I am so sorry! I promise next week there will be another update!

look i have been in this area before mentally. it sucks and i wouldn’t wish this on anyone. but, and this is going to sound callous, but i don’t feel any sympathy for james somerton. even if i hope he’s like. not dead. But thats all the amount of goodwill im willing to give him. The more i think about this really, the more angry i am. 

ngl this entire situation is another example of how white people weaponize their mental illness to avoid consequences. Im seeing it in real time.

this man has a continuous habit of using self-harm as a get-out-of-jail-for-free card. in both of his apologies, he has worded his supposed attempts in ways that were clearly meant to guilt people who displayed his plagiarism and overall horrendous history of racism and misogyny. i say supposed because, while i’m not saying those are lies and this would he such a fucked up thing to lie about that i don’t want to think he has, unfortunately, it’s been proven again and again that his word can’t be trusted, as he’s known to lie to try get out of consequences. Hes a proven liar. him lying about this is actually the best case scenario, because no one should go through this entire situation, wouldnt wish this on anyone, but you can only do this so often before people stop sympathizing with you. is this callous? Yeah, but like. I’m actually fucking angry he cant straight up take no as an answer. that this is how he reacts realizing he cant be one of the Cool Kidz™️ on youtube anymore. he acts like he DESERVES a career, like its not a privilege hes lost due to his own actions.

He lied about apologizing and forgiving people, he lied about giving the money to hbomberguy to give to ppl he ripped off (yknow, instead of doing it himself), he lied about the jessie gender situation and rewrote the narrative to make it so he isnt the bad guy, and hes the victim all along actually!

what? were supposed to stay quiet about a man profiting off of other minorities because he wanted to be the spokesman for all gay people? people tried to solve this on a smaller, more private scales for YEARS and he kept doing it. it was clear that the giant public video was the ONLY way to get people to notice. Further Statement Regarding Suspension

So, the more I look into the situation, the more it's clear this was a coordinated harassment attempt from F//ateCE//O and the rest of his unhinged transphobic mob. Someone I followed was outed as a MAP, a fact I had zero clue about. I had previously promoted her patreon before knowing about this. When Fate's cronies mentioned it, I said to please go to the police with any criminal evidence, and also not to link me to triggering callout threads full of MAP discourse, which I stay the hell away from. This person had literally already deactivated on twitter so there was no one to unfollow. Idk what the point of any of it was. I literally wanted nothing to do with any of this and told everyone to go to the police for real, this was way above my pay grade. Also, fun fact nobody likes to mention, MY MOTHER WAS IN HOSPITAL AT THE TIME. I had a lot to worry about, and what to do with a potential criminal case (again, very long and unhinged callout thread from known liars and transphobes, so I have no idea about the veracity of any of these claims based on an untrustworthy background) that I have no jurisdiction over (as an internet person??? And not the FBI??) was not my top priority at the time.

That is it. I did not defend them. I did not advocate for pro contact. I said be succinct with your evidence so I don't get fucking triggered and also I AM NOT A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. Anyway, that entire l0lichud side of twitter has turned on me and frothed themselves into a rage without actually listening to a word I said. Typical word of mouth bs.
